“I don’t think I’m gonna do that.” Unknown frowned. “Thanks for
the offer.’ She jabbed the gun in his back to make him wince.
“You know, you really messed up my plans tonight.”

Broadshield keeps his pistol aimed at the unknown pony, debating
on whether or not to move closer. “Y’know, I’ve been told I have
a habit of messing up ponies plans. I guess old habits die
hard.” he says, taking a short moment to compose himself before
continuing. “Who are you really? And why do you want the
politician dead? What are you, some crazed gunman with a thirst
for the blood of innocents?” he says.

“Innocents?” She chuckled. “No one is innocent. But sorry
Broadshield, between me having this gun in this poor stallion’s
back, and the fact that I am not leaving here tonight under your
custody, I can’t, and won’t tell you anything.” She took one
step back. “I’m actually a bit bummed I wasn’t the one that
killed him tonight. I guess I won’t be famous after all after
tonight.

“That’s purely subjective, and I’m quite sure compared to
others, everypony in this nation is a saint, while you’re the
sorry slug that crawled out of Tartarus to do Hades’ dirty work.
He says, deciding to very slowly inch closer to the mare, not
moving forward any more than a few inches. “What the hell do you
mean that you weren’t the one that killed him? He’s safe and
sound yes, were you expecting him to die?” he says.

The Politician's SUV came into view right in front of the big
window. “Wow, he’s just in time, look at that. I’m glad I can at
least witness this. Usually I’m the one doing the killing.” A
smirk appears on her face. “I wasn’t the one who killed him,
because you were dear.” Broadshield would notice his left hoof
was lower than the rest as he had clearly stepped on a pressure
plate. There was a slight second of silence before the vehicle
erupted into flames and shot into the air flipping over. The
secret service agent’s eyes were completely wide but his mouth
was still covered by Unknown’s hooves.“Ohhh. Wow, you are even a
better killer than I am Commander. Do they teach you that at
Equinox? Too bad you get to take all the credit.” She used the
explosion as a distraction to push the hostage forward a bit.
"Thanks for buying me time pal. I'll do you a favor and save you
from the shitstorm that is about to start." Ahe smirked and pump
five rounds into his back and head killing him, before throwing
a smoke down and disappearing, this time for good.

Broadshield tried to keep his hoof on the plate, hoping it was
like any other pressure plate and that it would only go off
after he lifted his hoof, but the deed was done, and the car
blew up. He had killed before, but nothing like this.
Broadshield covered his eyes from the brightness of the
explosion before looking at the pony, which he could now
identify some features, her being a mare, blue fur, but that was
it. “You bitch! You led us into a trap!” was all he could say
before firing a few rounds towards the Unknown assailant before
she disappeared under the cover of smoke, the bullets cutting
through the smoke and glass, but never hitting the intended
target. When all was said and done, he ran up to the secret
service agent, but he was gone. “You bitch… You’ll pay for what
you did…” he mutters to himself as he looks out the window, the
burning wreck of the car and the accompanying thunder and rain,
as well as the radio chatter going crazy. He didn’t want to say
it, but he knew, this was mission failed…

Agilene winces at the explosion from below. "No..." she
whispered, her eyes growing wide, knowing what had just
happened. From this point on, everything felt like it played in
fast-forward. From the service agent getting shot, to the
culprit disappearing in a cloud of smoke. In the end, Agilene
shared the same thought as Broadshield's: The mission ended in a
failure. She thought of ways for things to pick up, but it all
came to a blank. After a moment of collecting herself, she lets
out a portion of anger by slamming a hoof to the wall next to
her. Finally, with a calm breath let out, she faced Broadshield.
"I'm sorry, Commander. If only we had more time."

Broadshield sighed, putting his gun away and turning off his
radio for a moment, turning to Agilene. “This wasn’t your fault,
and there was nothing we could do. She calculated that this
would happen. She’s obviously a lot more trained and skilled
than I thought. She’s no mad gunman, she’s a skilled assassin.
Come on, let’s go. I have a lot of explaining to do…” he says,
picking up the dead body of the secret service agent and turning
on his mic, the channels overloading with sound. “Commander,
what the hell happened? There was a loud bang, did something
happen?” Rogue can be heard in the public channel. “The assassin
managed to lead us into a trap, and we accidentally set off a
bomb that killed the VIP.”
“No way… this is big…”
“I know, pull out all forces and meet back at Montanha Citadel
for a debrief. Out.” he says, turning his mic off and beginning
to silently make his way outside, back to the base, silently
muttering a prayer in front of the burning wreck before heading
off. Mission failed...

Unknown let out a huge sigh as she sat on the edge of a
Blackhawk chopper. It was already far from Canterlot but she
couldn't help but still look at it the city she once grew up in.
That very museum was somewhere she spent a lot of time
"Dammit I'm beginning to feel again." She said before sliding
the door shut, sitting down in the seat, and closing her eyes.
