As Iron watched Ryo experiment with the limits of her magic and
fire, it was actually quite amusing. It reminded him a little of
when he first began to come to grips with his magic. All the way
down to using magic to manipulate the oxygen in an attempt to
move and manipulate the flame. She was certainly a fast learner,
which he was impressed about. Certainly would be useful as an
apprentice. For a moment, she looked to get the grips on how to
fuel the flames with magic, "yes, I saw," he praised, continuing
to watch as she tried to repeat the feat once more. He did find
that accomplishing something by accident seemed harder to
intentionally recreate, but she'd done it once, so it was likely
only a matter of time now. He looked on in amazement as the
flame crystalized, falling to the table with a soft clink.
Looking to Ryo, it was clear that this was not something she
aimed at, causing him to let out a low whistle, "I will say,
that is an impressive feat," he marvelled, "never done that
before myself," he admitted, picking up the small crystal in his
magic, bringing it close to look over, "and there's not a whole
lot of documentation on it," he explained, "though, the bits
I've read, this is a method of enchantment. This being fire
aligned, clearly," the possibilities were near endless if she
could repeat this. The candle lit up once more, "think you could
do it again?"

A look of amazement and confusion still on her face, Ryo
listened Iron's words about the newly formed crystal. She had
seen crystals before, and even toyed around with some, fiddling
with them with her magic, but never had she crystallized
anything like that. While the praise did reach the blue mare's
mind, and made her feel more confident, seeing the candle light
again made Ryo nervous. "I can try" She said a bit shakily, but
she sounded confident. Only after she flared up her horn again,
Ryo noticed how much this all had drained her. Determined to try
and repeat her previous feat however, Ryo began to focus what
energy she could muster, into a spell similar to what she cast
before. Aiming her horn at the candle, once she could not make
the spell any stronger, Ryo let a light blue ball of magic leave
her horn, and shoot out at the flickering flame. The fire began
to repeat it's predecessor's actions, starting to turn into
orange crystal. However, the spell was weaker than the last
time, causing the crystal to crackle and break into smaller
pieces as it fell down on the table. Ryo panted quite heavily,
as the sound of the crystal breaking made her open her eyes,
that she never realized she had closed in the first place. The
mare was clearly aware what she did in the first place, even
though it was an accident at first, and was capable to attune a
similar kind of spell again, but she lacked the energy to
properly even try right now. Ryo looked at the shards on the
table, wondering for a bit, before she collected them all into a
pile. "Almost" She said with a chuckle, a hint of nervousness
present there, as she failed to properly repeat what she gained
praise for before. She hurried to continue though "I-i think i
could mend this crystal though"

Iron left Ryo in peace as she tried to recreate her previous
feat. If she could, this would prove to be invaluable. He might
not be aware of just what this crystal could do, but he was sure
it was full of condensed magic and fire, just waiting to be
directed towards something. He practically held his breath as
she finally released the magic at the second flame. He watched
it crystallize, and then shatter. But that didn't matter. She
could recreate it, though it seemed to be incredibly tiring. He
gave her a warm smile, "that's okay," he assured her, "you can
redo it at will, even if it was an accident the first time," he
informed her, "seriously, this is impressive. It's hardly a
surprise something like this has tired you out so much," it was
hard not to be impressed at her, "how about we take a break, let
you recover a little, and I suppose I could dig through some
books and see if I can work out what this crystal can do,"

Carri Air lands in front of the forge door and gives it a few
solid knocks. After a moment she became worried that maybe
there's a receptionist inside and she had made them get up when
normally customers should just walk in. She looks around and
decides to just push the door open and see inside, "Hello?" She
calls in and waits for a response.

Ryo's mind eased with Iron's words. "That sounds good..." She
said with a little smile, only to visibly jump and Eeep at the
sudden knock on the door. She chuckled nervously, having not
expected anypony to come by the forge this early. Seeing the
arrival help themselves in, Ryo took a step aside, letting
Ironfire do his work. Ryo paid close attention though, as
customer service would be a big part of her job in the future
for sure.

"Then that's what we'll do," he confirmed, before looking
towards the door at the sounds of an arrival, "though sounds
like business calls, I'd ask you to pay attention, but looks
like you're all set," he chuckled to himself, heading over to
greet the potential customer, "hello, welcome to my forge," he
welcomed them inside, "I'm Ironfire, the owner. How may I be of
help to you today?"

"Hi!" Carri responds before a look of shock envelopes her, "I
mean, uh..." She digs a hoof into her jacket and pulls out a
small notebook. Flipping through the book her eyes scan it with
fervor, "Greetings, my name is Carri Air and I am here on behalf
of Gizmo Industries to request specialized pieces for a secret
project. Give the blacksmi... oh." Carri removes a binder from
her jacket and hands it to Ironfire.
Looking back to her notes, "This binder contains all the
aforementioned pieces, should you require extra materials to
work with such can be provided within eight hours of request."
Carri shuts the notebook and packs it away, giving Ironfire a
bright smile.
The large binder lists many plates, gears, and rods all made up
of phosphor bronze totaling a bit over half a ton in weight.

Ryo listened the, rather bizarre introduction, and order made by
the new arrival, So many questions raised to Ryo's mind, but she
managed to keep herself silent, and remain as an observer to the
scene. As Iron was handed the list, Ryo walked closer to get a
look on the list herself

Iron was mildly surprised at the scripted dialogue, but let her
continue. The mention of a secret project piqued his interest,
taking the offered binder in his magic and flicking through the
various pages. Nothing of it was overly out there. He gave a few
nods in acknowledgement as he checked it all over, "I do have a
couple of questions. First being, is there a time frame for
this?" he began, "the amount of pieces could take a couple weeks
easily, and that's ignoring that I don't carry this much stock
for any one particular metal. And the second is transport. Do
you have a method for picking this all up? A few quick
calculations tells me it'll be rather heavy."

Carri adjusts her hat as she thinks, "My company is willing to
provide whatever you need, it'll all be scrap parts from broken
machines I can bring in, but they're the right metal." She
unfurls her rather large wings and gives them a stretch, "And
don't worry about weight, I can handle a lot." She stands proud
for only a moment then relaxes, "And don't worry about price
either, Gizmo Industries does not expect a bulk order discount."
