"Like any good magician, The Great and Powerful Trixie has a
long list of tricks she can do. One's best chance to see what is
to attend shows." Trixie swoops a foreleg around the bits left
on the table, leaving it clean with the bits nowhere to be seen.
She looks up to the sky for a moment, "There's still plenty of
time before Trixie must be somewhere, so we can do one more
trick."
Trixie reaches to her back, inside her cloak, she pulls out a
deck of cards. The backside of the cards have a childish drawing
of herself standing heroically on them. She flips the deck over
and fans it out to reveal a normal set of playing cards. "Simple
card tricks are the plainest thing one can think of, if you
don't pull it off well it can leave an audience snoring." Trixie
closes the fan of cards, flips the deck, shuffles it, and fans
it out again. "Pick one, memorize it, then place it anywhere in
the deck."

Nivalia picks a card and looks at it. The the of clubs. Silently
she places the card back and nods. "Alright, it's done."

Trixie straightens the deck then quickly shuffles it with her
magic, going through a variety of shuffling techniques in rapid
succession. Once she's done she lines up the cards in front of
her and picks one. "Is this your card?" Trixie shows Nivalia the
eight of hearts. As she asks she uses her magic to pile the
cards back together.

Nivalia scans the card, shaking her head in response, "Nope, not
that one."

"Oh?" Trixie looks at the card. "Well, most keep their hooves on
the cards in order to keep track of the pulled card." Trixie
puts the card back in the deck and shuffles it again, "Though
Trixie may not have kept track of your card successfully,
there's somepony else who did."
Trixie holds the deck out to Nivalia, showing her the drawing on
the back, she takes her other hoof and begins flipping through
the deck. Every drawing on the back is now different, creating a
flip-book animation. The cartoon Trixie casts a deck into being
in front of her, shuffles through it, picks a card and turns it
around, revealing the three of clubs. Trixie then removes that
last card and turns it around, it is also the three of clubs.
"Is this your card?"

A squeal of excitement and joy is heard as she applauds the
marvelous mare. "Hah! It is! Very well done! Wow your really
good at this." She returns the stack of cards given to her onto
the table. "I wish I could do things like that. But I'm only ok
at impersonations and stuff."

Trixie nods in agreement as she is complimented. Sweeping away
the cards, they seem to disappear. "Impersonations? Well if you
want to please a crowd one could try their hoof at acting or
comedy." Trixie puts a hoof to her chest, "The Great and
Powerful Trixie would find it difficult to act like anything
less than herself."

"Acting huh?" Nivalia mutters, surely an achievable goal. She
looks over the crate, then to her ticket. "I'll certainly give
it some thought. I can't wait to see your show, I'm sure I won't
be disappointed. Anyway, it was great meeting you Trixie. You
made my crappy day get much better."

"Indeed. Trixie will be seeing you." Trixie gives a slight bow
before pulling up her whiteboard and erasing it with the side of
a foreleg. She both picks up the table and opens her nearby
chest with her magic. Tossing everything inside, before
levitating the chest to her cart around a nearby corner, she
follows along with it, out of sight.
