"Oh we didn't call you down here for protection. Believe me when
I say the NS and the Marines have that handled." The Colonel
chuckled. "We understand that you hold some sort of strange
power. At least that's what a few of the NS soldiers have told
me."
Walt nodded but looked on.
"We believe this.... asteroid has some hidden potential. We have
tried to experiment with different environments, but it seemed
to give a slight reaction with unicorn magic. Your magic, being
stronger and stranger, provides the perfect test. We'd like for
you to help up."

Foxtrot remains silent, knowing all too well what they're
referring to. Doubt lingers in. A new power he had only
discovered himself less than a week ago, only the result of the
Phantom Initiative. He sighs as he turns to the asteroid. A
strange power, an unknown celestial object. With a sigh he looks
back to the Colonel and nods. "Sure. I'll uh, do what I can to
assist. Just tell me what I gotta do."

"Go get some rest now. We need you at 100% energy tomorrow when
we will run the tests. Don't worry, everything is in a
controlled environment so you will be fine." The Colonel gave
Fox a friendly, reassuring pat on the back. "I saw footage of
what you did on the tower kid. You are incredibly smart and have
a ton of courage. Your loyalty to your friends is also
admirable. Wish you were apart of the marines. Hell not the NS
though. Don't waste your time with a shady private military." He
chuckled and smiled at Walter.

"Very funny Colonel. You are just jealous that our janitors are
more skilled than your finest troops." Walt broke a small smile
under his jacket. "I'll have him back here early tomorrow."
He motioned for Fox to follow him back down the hall into the
elevator. "We are short on rooms right now so you probably will
have a room mate. Don't worry, no one here hates you."

Fox chuckles. Rather relieved that these guys are just... not
shady; secretive, yes, but not too much. With a nod to the
Colonel he follows Walter to the elevator, somewhat relieved
that he didn't have to sleep with one eye open. "That's good to
know."

They walked for some time. Finally they reached a bunch of
identical metal doors. Walter scanned his ID card and the metal
door slid open. He handed a card to Fox.
Inside was a bunk bed, two desks, two closets, and a bathroom.
Somepony's things appeared to be everywhere.
"Here is your card to get in. Don't forget the room number. You
are to be asleep by 11, it's 9:00 right now so you can get
dinner at the mess hall or mingle with the soldiers there but
don't bother anypony that is busy. We already got your clothing
from your apartment and moved it here so theres your change of
clean clothes, toothbrush and stuff are already in the bathroom.
I'll be here to wake you up on time tomorrow. Any questions?"

Foxtrot listens intently to the time given for lights out. He
shakes his head, "No questions for now. I'll probably grab a
bite to easy before heading to bed. Thanks." The unicorn enters
the room and goes over his things, pulling out his usual attire
for later on. The other items in the room does catch his
interest. Who could be the owner of all these things? Brushing
it off he removes the heavy coat and winter wear and folds them
neatly in his closet. So much going on. Fox loses himself in
thought as he sits on his bunk.

Lauren throws a bucket into her room and groans before jumping
back.
"What the hell. What are you doing in my room? This floor is
co-ed but not the rooms!"

Foxtrot nearly jumps back as the bucket collides with his face.
"Ah, what the hay!" Pulling the bucket off, he tosses it onto
the ground. "Why do you have a bucket!?" Instead of escalating
the situation, he simply secures his jacket and stretches.
"Look, I was assigned here to sleep. I thought it was a joke
with all the crap laying around to be honest. So if you got an
issue, take it up with Walter."

Lauren shook her head.
"Walter is a dumbass i swear." She groaned and jumped into the
bottom bunk. "Whatever, i don't feel like moving. I had a long
day. The bucket? I had to wash the entire locker room by using
one of those hoof scrubs! I... Didn't do well in our flight
drills again."
