Second Impressions

The sound of the opening tumblers echo across the spacious
living room as Foxtrot enters the apartment. "Hey Niv! I'm
home!"He isn't greeted with any response, prompting the unicorn
to look around. "I'm still alive by the way. Ah you should've
been there..." He trots past the living room towards the
kitchen. "There were these random assholes that showed up at the
last minute and they were all 'hur dur derp.' But the crew and I
showed how bad ass we are and they realized they were way in
over their heads. And when I started busting out my magic, they
were all like..." As soon as he enters the kitchen, he freezes
in his tracks as he finds his sister tied up to a chair. His
heart drops when he sees the tape on her mouth and a surprised
look on her face. "Ah sh!t..."

Surrounding Fox, a group of soldiers moved out of the shadows
into view.
Danielle was the one that stepped right in front of Fox but her
weapon wasn't drawn.
"Foxtrot you need to come with us. I'll explain everything on
the way there. You don't really have a choice though. Make this
easier for us and don't fight back."
The soldiers quickly began to push at Fox letting him know to
walk back out the front door.

Foxtrot sighs as he nods in compliance, "Alright, alright; can
you guys at least do me the courtesy of untying my sister before
we all leave?" He turns to Nivalia and shrugs. "Adios otra vez.
Tu sabes que tienes hacer." With that said he makes his way to
the front door.

"She'll be taken care of" Danielle responded in a reassuring
voice. Her eyes glowed in the dark night as there were multiple
black SUV's in the front. The soldiers all hopped into the
vehicles making sure Fox was in the middle of the convoy. He
also sat in the middle back seat with Danielle to his left and
another soldier to his right. They were driving relatively fast
as Danielle spoke into her earpiece.
"We got him, heading to the station now." She leaned back in her
seat. "Hello Foxtrot. You can call me Danielle for now. I'm
sorry for such the rude welcoming. We had asked your sister if
she knew where you were and if we could wait for you and she
began to attack us out of no where so we just had to restrain
her. Listen, there has been a strange occurrence in two separate
locations. One in the deserts of Appleloosa, and the other deep
in the Crystal Empire mountains. We are taking you North to the
Crystal Empire by air. You are an important stallion right now
Fox. Get used to the security."

"Alright, I may as well get comfy." He replies, digging his rear
in the leather cushioning. "Why me though? Last time I ran into
you guys we didn't really see eye to eye on handling the
Directors. Why the sudden change of heart?"

"I wasn't on the mission that you speak of." The soldier
answered peering out the window as the convoy began to get
searched by the security team at the airport. "I'm not in the
same tribe that went so I really have no idea. We are a private
military and our different tribes deal with different contracts.
I assume they told you that they were SEALs? That means the
government wanted you and your targets for something. We don't
like it when someone interferes with our plans." Danielle took a
large gulp of water and offered some to Foxtrot. "Regardless
this is a whole different situation. I understand that you
have... or had a strange power?"
The SUVs began to file onto a runway. A gigantic Globemaster sat
on the runway with the back ramp opened. Pegasi runway teams
were disconnecting gas hoses from the plane and were prepping
the large plane for takeoff.

Foxtrot accepts the water and takes a drink. "Strange is a good
way to say it; but then again I fit the overall definition of
the word entirely. How about this? You tell me what you have
heard so far and I will gladly fill in the blanks for you. Your
organization somewhat unintentionally helped me with The 26, the
least I could do is clarify some things."

"Telling me anything would just blow by my head and not be very
useful." Danielle smirked. "Save it for the science guys at the
site."
As the SUV's pulled by the large plane. The door opened and
Danielle got out and said some things to the crew before
motioning for the rest. One soldier motioned for Fox to follow
them into the Globemaster. Inside was already an elite team of
NS soldiers seated and ready to go. There was still plenty of
room as Danielle motioned for Fox to sit by her.

As Foxtrot exits the vehicle, he pauses as he takes in the sight
of the Globemaster, an impressive aircraft nonetheless. He
follows the others, sitting down next to Danielle and putting on
his seat belt. "I have to admit, I'm starting to hate my
previous employers even more now. They certainly had the money
for stuff like this but sent me out in the crappiest means of
transportation. But they're in jail now, so I guess it doesn't
matter anymore. How long is this flight going to be anyway?"

"Fairly short. As I said you are very important to us and we
want to take no chances with risking your security." She said
that as the doro closed and the plane took off. Very soon Fox
would be able to hear two other planes close by.
"We have two Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II's escorting this
large Globemaster right now.
After a few moments Danielle's earpiece went nuts as she pulled
it out before putting it back in. "Calm down and tell me what
happened? What? What's your status... Sweet Celestia... Okay the
rest of the Sioux should be close by to back you up. Keep me
posted."
Danielle unbuckled her seatbelt. "Excuse me Fox. I'll be back in
a moment." She patted him on the shoulder before galloping up
the stairs to the cockpit.
