The low hum of the helicopter blades resonated within the
helicopter cabin as both Broadshield and Foxtrot sat inside the
helicopter, along with the two helicopter pilots flying the
Blackhawk. As they sit there, Broadshield briefly thinks back to
Manehatten when they left not too long ago.

The helicopter came in to land within the site, where relief
operations finally began to wrap up, medical crews, patients and
the deceased being moved to local hospitals and morgues,
replaced by construction crews, now tasked with cleaning up the
Directors mess. Equinox had also began pulling all of their
forces in the site out, sending them back to base. Broadshield
was in the middle of a debrief when a soldier alerted him to
Foxtrot's and the helicopter's arrival. Meeting up with Fox, he
escorted him to their ride, a brand new Blackhawk making its
maiden journey to Canterlot with their commander on board. As
they took off, the Blackhawk circled around the crash site
before making its way over the Manehatten skyline. Soon enough,
Manehatten was barely visible as they left the area, heading
towards Canterlot, over Foal Mountain.

Broadshield's train of thought was disrupted by the pilot
speaking over the radio. "Alright Commander, we've just cleared
Foal Mountain, we'll be at Canterlot, ETA 2 minutes. We'll
circle around Canterlot for a minute, allowing another
Blackhawk, Hammer 2-2 carrying Commander Szar to land before we
come in to land." As if on cue, another helicopter passes by
their helicopter, soon disappearing under the rolling clouds.
"Roger that Hammer 2-1, let us know when we're beginning to
land." Looking out of his window, he begins to see glimpses of
Canterlot on the other side of the mountain emerge from the
mountain and the clouds. "Hey Fox, get ready. We'll be arriving
any minute." he says, making his way over to the side door
facing Canterlot, preparing to open it.

Foxtrot looks out to the Canterlot skyline, silent throughout
the entire trip. Watching the first Blackhawk descend, he let's
out a sigh of slight disappointment. "I gotta say I'm rather
jealous Broadshield. The 26 was loaded with funds and they send
me out with just my blade and wits. Granted they had their toys
but never on this scale." As the aircraft begins to touchdown,
he nods to the commander, "I'll be right behind you."

"Yeah, it must've been tough doing impossible missions with
barely anything, but you won't see that here. We give our
soldiers exactly what they need to complete their missions. Same
goes for you." He says, opening the door and sitting on the edge
as the Blackhawk continues to circle above Canterlot. Soon
enough, the Blackhawk begins to make its way to the other side
of the mountain, disappearing briefly under the cloud before
coming to land at the Equinox base, 'Montanha Citadel'. "Hammer
2-1 to Tower, we are coming in to land with VIPs, please
respond." "Roger that Hammer 2-1, make your way to hanger 3 for
landing."
"Thank you Tower, Hammer 2-1 out. This is your pilot speaking,
please make sure you are inside the aircraft as we come in to
land, especially you commander. Thank you for flying Air Hammer,
and we look forward to you flying with us again." The pilot says
jokingly as they come in to land in Hanger 3. Upon landing
Broadshield hops out of the aircraft into the pavement inside
Hanger 3. All around are soldiers busy at work, departing on or
heading off on missions, some doing repairs and maintenance on
aircraft. In the hanger itself, there are dozens of soldiers and
engineers, along with dozens of helicopters and trucks lined up.
A soldier in a roofless Growler then rolls up next to the
helicopter. "Welcome back Commander. I believe this is Foxtrot?
We've prepared the training room for analysis and assessment.
Are you both ready?" He asks as he hops out of the vehicle and
gives a salute to the Commander.

Foxtrot was simply speechless at the sheer size and scope of the
facility, its crew, and equipment. Getting out of the
helicopter, he follows the Commander to the Growler. As much as
he wanted to stay focused on the conversation, the unicorn
couldn't help but look around, even turning in a complete circle
to take in all the sights. Returning to the Commander and
soldier, he nods and says "I'm ready to go. Just point me in the
right direction and I'll get moving."

"Good to hear you're ready Foxtrot." he says to him as he hops
out of the helicopter. "Due to the size of the base, we're going
to be driving there. Will you be driving us soldier?"
"Believe me sir, I would love to do so, but I've been ordered to
pick up Commander Szar and take him to central command. I
thought this would happen, so I got another vehicle to take you
there." As if on cue, another jeep, a APE T-41LV jeep rolled up
next to the Growler. "Speak of the devil. Hey, you need to take
the Commander and Foxtrot to Training Room 4."
"Yeah, no problem."
"Thank you soldier." he says as he hoof bumps the driver before
hopping into the Growler and driving off. 'Bloody hell Szar,
really?' he thinks to himself as he makes his way to the jeep.
"Alright Fox, hop in." he says, getting in the back seat.

Foxtrot hops in the vehicle, still distracted by all the sights
to pay attention to the conversation between the Equinox
soldiers. He looks over to Broadshield as they take off, "So
what kind of training course are we going to? Walls to climb,
targets to shoot and whatnot?"

As Foxtrot hops into the vehicle, the driver starts the engine
and drives into a tunnel, passing by dozens of other soldiers
and vehicles, from trucks to tanks, making their way to Training
Room 4. For Equinox, initial training and evaluation is done to
determine which unit is best suited for their abilities, along
with a standard physical test and combat test. Combat Unit and
Intel Unit tests involve armed and unarmed combat training,
vehicle handling, intelligence training and situation training,
where you are put into various situations, either alone or in
groups with other recruits. Medical Unit Training is a test of
your medical knowledge, from injuries to medicine. Support Unit
Training tests your vehicle handling, along with cohesion on the
battlefield. R&D Unit training tests your ability to construct
and create devices. Usually, recruits are to go through all Unit
Trainings to determine their unit, but since it's quite clear
that you would prefer and are best suited for Intel Unit, you'll
only have to go through Intel Unit Training, along with the
standard physical test, unless you want to?" He says.

"Sure, I wouldn't mind going through the phycial test." Foxtrot
answers as he looks around. "It would be a good idea to see
where I stand in terms of my conditioning." He looks down at his
hoof, still coping with the fact that he has his magic back.
Despite the... unique way he must channel it now, he's no doubt
thankful for its return. Silently, the unicorn ponders back to
what he utilized with his magic. Regardless, things are going to
be much different than before.

Soon enough, the jeep pulls up to large hanger doors with the
words "Training Room 4" above the doors. The jeep stops for a
moment to allow both Foxtrot and Broadshield to disembark before
driving off. Beyond the hanger, is a large grey rectangular room
with a grid on the floor, allowing for walls to rise up through
the grid slots.

In addition, there are also ponies on standby waiting to set up
obstacles and tables. "Alright Fox, as you wish, first test is
the physical test. You'll need to make your way through the
obstacle course, climbing up ropes, ladders, walls, et cetera et
cetera, crawling under gaps, holes, barbed wire in the quickest
time possible. After that, we will begin combat training. Make
your way to the starting line, and we'll get underway." he says,
making his way to the spectator's box above, allowing full view
of the training room. Waiting for Foxtrot to prepare himself, he
himself gets ready to initiate the assessment. "Alright Fox,
prepare to begin. 3, 2, 1, BEGIN!" he says, firing a blank
initiating the start of the first test.

Foxtrot approaches the start line and awaits to begin. As soon
as the signal is given, the unicorn sprints out into the course.
Leaping halfway up walls to climb, sliding under the barbed
wire to boost his crawls, the whole thing was simply a rush of
adrenaline for the unicorn; something he had to admit was
actually fun. Although he wasn't keeping track of time, he
didn't really bother as he finally made his way across the
finish line. "Yea!" Foxtrot shouts, catching his breath and
looking towards the observation deck. "Time?"
