Boom Zoom: The Tomb of Doom Character Summaries

For the sake of getting things moving in the arc I will post
brief descriptions and information regarding the NPCs that will
appear. There are plenty of them and several will most likely be
one shot for the adventure. I will update this when appropriate.
Mana Burn: Male, purple eyed, blue coated unicorn sporting a
purple mohawk. Employed as one of Canterlot's Royal Guardsmen
often working alongside Thunder with a strong interest in gems
and enchantments. Armor, when worn, is silver and sports a large
purple gem on the helmet intended to help focus his spells.
Magic practiced focuses strongly on defensive barriers and
protecting others. Sent to Weaver on Gleam's request.
Thunder: Male pegasus, gray coat, turquoise eyes, yellow mane he
doesn't bother to style. Armor when worn is standard issue
though appears a bit beat up. Employed as one of Canterlot's
Royal Guardsmen often working alongside Mana Burn. Ex-weather
factory worker who often tries to keep things light. Sent to
Weaver on Gleam's request.
Spirit and Alacrity: The two Earth pony mares currently running
The Green Lion's alchemy shop and inn. Spirit lives up to her
name and is eager to please with bright blue eyes and a wispy
blue mane over her peach coat. Spirit is friendly and easy to
talk to with her working well as the first face customers see
when entering the building. Alacrity is less bubbly. She's just
as helpful, but what she says often carries a dry but mild
sarcasm that can rub some the wrong way should they not expect
it. Alacrity's coat is a lavender shade of purple with a deeper
tone coloring her straight mane. Her eyes are dark teal and
often half lidded as she appreciates her own observations.
Aether Alkahest: Owner of The Green Lion and noteworthy
alchemist. Currently off in Canterlot doing something or other
according to his two cousins left running things during the
Festival in Weaver.
Diligence: One of the five mayors affected by the occurrences.
Orange Pegasus with a reputation for using other's dirty secrets
to her advantage and taking great enjoyment in the mistakes and
embarrassment of her rivals. Acting mayor for the city of
Perticity who dealt with the third occurrence. Timber wolves
appeared closer to Perticity's castle than in Greenswill and
Noble with several instances of ponies being mauled before the
situation was brought under control.
Merger: One of the five mayors affected by the occurrences.
Light blue Earth pony with shaved sections of his mane who is
considered an idiot by most. He is the mayor of Greenswill and
has the earliest account of the occurrences where bunny rabbits
suddenly appeared in Greenswill's market. Local investigation
only picked up small traces of magic with the event being
dismissed as a prank.
Matrix: One of the five mayors affected by the occurrences. Dark
green, snooty and dismissive unicorn who serves as mayor for the
city of Berylsburg. Has not yet been hit by the events plaguing
the rest of the mayors but is thought to be the most likely next
target due to his city's Gem Exchange coming up.
Visionary: One of the five mayors affected by the occurrences.
Mild yellow Pegasus in both color and personality acting as
mayor for the city of Noble. Dealt with the second occurrence
where dogs appeared in Noble's market with a few reports of
bites being the only harm done. Investigation turned up examples
of a few of the dogs being melded into the walls of some of the
market's buildings.
Lion Heart: One of the five mayors affected by the occurrences.
Sizable and stern dark red Unicorn. Mayor of Corona and pony
responsible for the revival of the Cortoza in his city. Dealt
with the most recent occurrence of manticores invading his
castle courtyard out of thin air and causing quite a bit of
damage before being put down. Responsible for gathering the
other mayors together and contacting Gleam. Currently heading up
the investigation regarding the events.
Charybdis – Female Griffin with dark brown fur, black
feathers and chestnut eyes. Carries a short sword and wears a
vest of cloth and leather for light protection. The left side of
her beak is rougher than the right hinting towards a scar
currently healing. Claims association to an organization called
the Hyacintho Militum and commanded the small team that attacked
the group in the barn at Weaver.
Arum – Light Green Pegasus mare wearing lightweight
strapped clothing that keeps clear of her wings. Encountered in
the barn in Weaver, she is associated with Charybdis and takes
orders from her. Displays a talent for archery.
Armored Stallion – The third member of the team that
attacked the group in the barn. Cyan stallion that wore a suit
of etched armor that glowed and absorbed certain kinds of
damage. Name unknown. Last seen seriously injured.
