Her honesty was endearing and now he knew for sure that she was
interested. He wouldn't pass this wonderful opportunity up,
Orchid was a lovely mare and he really wanted to learn more
about her.
Asher waited to respond as he heard the guards hoofsteps and
conversation fade away, seemed like they were walking down the
hall. Once it was clear he opened the door and ushered Orchid
out of the closet, "Then I'll continue as your actual date then,
not just as friends. If you're okay with that?" He gave the
offer to her with a smile.

Orchid was actually going to faint if she didn't say something
soon. She stuttered and was just word vomitting.
"Uh Oh... My god... Oh my god... Are you serious! Yes! I... I
would really like that. I mean I really like you! And that
question! And you! Oh my god I really like you." She covered her
mouth with her hoof to stop herself. She took a huge breath to
let the nerves out. Her mind was clear. "I would love to date
you... Of course... if you want too... I don't wanna force you
into anything..." She listened. "Though I really want to
actually see your face again."

Asher didn't know what he was nervous about, despite how calm he
always seemed a small part of him was scared that she'd run off.
"Well then." He smoothed out her hair that got a little messy
from the closet, "We can take it slow, no rush here."
Down the hall was a large set of glass doors, it looked like an
interesting room. He quietly led Orchid to the doors and stepped
inside, it seemed like a study and one that he wished he'd have.
Many spell books lined the walls, potion tables and tomes
everywhere. Asher tried his hardest not to touch everything in
sight, Maybe just one book? No...
After looking around he spotted another set of glass doors in
the room, smaller ones this time. Looks like it led to a
balcony, they'd have to check that out too.

Orchid stuck right by Asher and walked alongside him as they
entered the room.
"Woah!" Orchid said looking around. "You really hit the jackpot.
This place is awesome... I guess you are better at finding rooms
than I am."
She ran her hoof across a few of the tables. "What do you wanna
do here? Touching things seems like a bad idea."

Asher freezes mid-reach when Orchid says that they shouldn't
touch anything and slowly slides his hoof away from an ancient
looking artifact, "...Yeeeeah, you're probably right."
He looks back at the doors that led to the balcony and trots
towards it, "Let's go get some fresh air."
Once the two trot onto the large balcony he closes the doors
behind them. The balcony itself had unique and rare plants
growing along the edges, a small table, candles, and a rug. Down
below was a view of the Royal Gardens and the party next to it.
Asher couldn't have planned the setting any better if he wanted
to, it was... definitely romantic. He didn't want them to be
interrupted or spotted though...
Asher conjures up an invisibility barrier around them, that way
even if somepony flew by or walked in the room behind them they
wouldn't be discovered. "We can relax now..." His voice was low
and calming, Asher looked at Orchid with such admiration that he
didn't even care about the view around them.

"Woah, now this is a view... It reminds me of my city..." Orchid
commented. "Better... if anything..." She felt so comfortable
and the light chatter from below really put a warm smile on her
face. This moment Orchid felt was straight from a book. Here
they were, alone, on a nice balcony with a gorgeous view.
"Asher... I only met you for a little, but you really are
amazing. Like... Where have you been all my life?"

"Vanhoover for most of it." He chuckles a bit and turns back to
her, "Just kidding." It was nice that Orchid shared his
feelings, he couldn't explain them but this felt right... just
as if they were meant to be. Once Asher realizes he's been
sitting in silence for a few moments he plucks a white flower
off a vine, knowing that one won't be missed from it's owner.
Afterwards, he placed white flower into her hair. Looking at
her, she was so... just so beautiful. It wasn't often, so rare
that he couldn't remember the last time that it happened. But he
actually felt himself blushing, he couldn't help it! How could
he look at the mare in front of him and not blush?
Despite the blushing Asher stayed calm and confident, "I'm here
now, and I won't waste one moment with you I promise."

Orchid blushed harder when the flower was in her mane. Asher
himself was so handsome. His personality was amazing. He was
just perfect. Orchid was still nervous, but she did her best to
hide it.
"I won't either. I promise." She smiled. How could one stallion
change her perspective on life and the world? She had a goal, a
mission, and now, she didn't care about it. She didn't care
about anything. Her dimension could collapse and she wouldn't
care. Asher was on her mind now, and that's all she cared about.
The setting was perfect. Orchid looked from left to right.
"Is this... Do I... Do we?" She began to word vomit again.

She looked amazing, she was amazing. Asher just chuckled and
scooted a little closer to her, without saying anything else and
with a warm smile on his face he held his hoof behind her head.
Not a second later the two locked lips under the stars, it was
passionate but not rushed. He held her lightly as their mouths
moved together, almost not wanting to let go.
Of course he had to a couple moments later.
Afterwards, he pulled back still holding her. "I really like you
Orchid."

Orchid closed her eyes as her lips met his. She was so happy at
this moment. For years she dreamed of one day kissing a
stallion. Honestly she thought she was prepared for this, but
she wasn't as she might've made it awkward for him a little, but
after a second she felt comfortable... and you know what? It was
better than any dream she's ever have. Asher was better than any
stallion her imagination could think of. What made this night
even more amazing is that she didn't have to create it in some
other silly dimension. The setting, the mood, everything was
perfect.
She had the dorkiest smile on her fast after he pulled away.
Suddenly something fell off her and clacked on the ground. She
looked to see and blushed. "Ah nuts... I... was hiding those."
There was a pair of hipster glasses sitting on the balcony.
