Young Sweethearts - Inside the Castle (Orchid/Asher Only)

"How could I forget, you and your sneaky hood." Asher smirked
before leading her out of the dining hall and in the large
hallway, there were plenty of ponies around and of course
stationed guards. The stallion trots towards a secluded corner
before shushing Orchid, in an instant his horn lights up before
the two disappeared. Granted they were standing in the same
spot, just invisible. "Go slow." Asher leads them past the
guards and up the main stairs to the more restricted parts of
the castle, thankfully the guards up here weren't as heavy so
once it looked clear Asher took the spell off. "Well that was
fun, let's find somewhere to go."

Orchid followed Asher's directions. When they were in the clear
she gave him a huge smile. There honestly were some probably
enchanted gems here, but she wasn't going to steal. Not tonight.
Maybe not for a while if things go well.
"Woooow. You are impressive." She smirked and looked around. She
pointed him towards a set of big doors down the hall. "Let's
check that area out."

"Good ideaaaa..." Asher leads Orchid down the elegant hallway,
there were many doors he presumed leaded to...well more
important rooms. Once the two approached the big set of doors at
the end of the hall he quickly trotted in front of Orchid and
blocked them. "Ah, what wonders will we see past these large
extravagant doors? Perhaps a beautiful library? A wonderful
large pool area? A..." He dramatically (and as quiet as he
could) opened the set of doors, his forehoof waving gleefully in
the air once he let go of the handle, "...nother hallway." It
was almost comical how disappointed Asher sounded with the
reveal.
He looked at Orchid trying not to laugh, "Well maybe this will
go somewhere."

Orchid chuckled at Asher's reaction.
"Well, you take point. Maybe you'll have better door luck."
Door luck. Good one Orchid.
She almost laughed at herself and followed Asher looking at the
beautiful and wonderfully crafted doors and walls around them.

Asher made sure to trot as quietly as possible, who knew what
would be down here? Where did here even lead to? Hopefully
something cool.
The wallway was as grand as any other of the castle areas, it
wasn't hard to be in awe and stare at the walls and beautifully
structured doors. Maybe they should just pick one and go in it?
Before he had time to think, a short distance away two royal
guards walked out of a large room. Before they could look down
the hallway, Asher quickly pushed him and Orchid into a nearby
room shutting the door behind them. At least he thought it would
be a room, but it was actually a small coat closet. He found out
once he shut the door, bumping into Orchid instantly when he
turned around.
"Well, this is...cozy." Asher couldn't help but chuckle a bit
but kept it quiet. It was dark, there were coats surrounding
them and he was in very close proximity to his date. She smelled
good, if he was being honest she just smelled like chocolate.
Not like that was a bad thing of course...
Asher leaned up against the door, listening for when the guards
passed by.

"Oooof!" Orchid nearly lost her balance as she saw the guards
too and was shoved into the closet. Oh my gosh! Orchid you are
in a closet with your date! That means you two can.... no! Bad!
Get your head out of the gutter!
She awkwardly tried to shift as she was blushing incredibly
hard. Say something!
"It's super cozy next to you... and these coats..."
You are on a roll Orchid.
She had to bust some sort of move. It's not every day she can
be trapped in a small closet with the stallion of your dreams.
She can pass off any moves that he's not okay with by saying it
was an accident. That being said she shifted closer to Asher to
almost half-cuddle him.
"Erm.... Uh... Did.. Do you hear anything?" She whispered. "I
think... we should realllllly wait until the coast is clear...
Just to be safe. It's not like I really like being this close to
you in the dark or anything... Did I say that? I meant it...
Maybe... You smell like chocolate... or is that me? Wooh... is
it hot in here?"

Asher couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at Orchid's quiet
rambling, was she making the moves on him? Pretty bold for a
mare like her, especially for making them in a coat closet. Not
now, maybe once we actually get out. He lets Orchid keep close,
which he obviously approved of. At the moment he was more
focused on waiting for the guards to leave, his ears twitched
once he heard them get closer. "Looks like they're..." He could
hear their casual conversation close by, by the sounds of it
they stopped by a nearby room...across the hall from them...
"...taking a break." The stallion sighs before facing Orchid and
keeping in a hushed tone of voice. "Looks like we have some time
before they move on. Any ideas on how to pass the time?" A sly
smirk appears on his face (as if she could see it).

Orchid had a feeling he knew what she was doing. She had to pass
it off. Forgetting that she had basically already admitted to
like rubbing up against him, she moved even closer to him.
"I realllly like wrapping myself in these coats..." Her heart
was racing. You just said it was hot in here!
"It's actually kinda chilly here... but these coats... are
helping... Thanks for bringing me in here... I l enjoy cuddling
with you... I mean the coats... Forget everything I said... I
like coats."
"I like Coats".... Brilliant Orchid. You are killing it.
His next question really didn't help her mind out of the
gutters.
"Pass... the time?" Yeah we could pass a lot of time by
introducing our tongues to each other. Dammit Orchid stop! What
has gotten into you!
She realized she was arguing with herself in her mind again. She
tried to move her head and hooves around to re-position herself
and map out where she was only to accidentally move her face a
lot closer to his where she could feel his breath. She hung
there for a bit as her emotions raced off the charts again. Do I
go for it? No don't! Too fast! If he didn't want this, not only
will your heart be shattered, but you would be awkwardly stuck
in a coat closet with him!
The moment she met Asher up until now has been a series of
events that she felt were straight from a romance book some
teenager would obsess over. I mean really? What are the chances
you get trapped in a coat closet with someone you are crazy for?
I mean, there was that spin the bottle game that puts couples in
closets, but this was all by coincidence!
As these thoughts raced through her head, she didn't realize
that she hasn't moved and in fact was breathing heavily in and
out her mouth (nearly hyperventilating).

Maybe that was a bad joke... What he said seemed to make her
flustered, she was hyperventilating right in front of his face
in a obscenely small closet. Asher gently placed a hoof onto her
cheek and summoned a very small gust of air throughout the
closet. It wouldn't be much, but the extra air would be enough
to calm her down. "Shh, not much longer."
She was sweet, cute, and just perfect. He wanted to kiss her,
right now. But he wouldn't. Orchid deserved better than a kiss
in a coat closet.

Orchid took a deep breath and nodded.
"Sorry... I... am usually not like this... Just sooooo much is
going through my head right now. I did not think I would meet a
stallion... not like in a dating way I know you are just using
date as in someone to hangout with today... and then... we'll
probably just be friends." She sighed. "But I didn't think I
would end up hanging out with you and end up in a coat closet...
It's just... this was so much better than my plan of eating
dessert and leaving."
