The two head downstairs and manage to sneak out without notice.
Returning to their booth, they find their drinks refilled. "Wow,
I gotta give this waitress a good tip. Alright, so we got
everything we need. Ready to-" Foxtrot immediately downs his
drinks and leaves a hefty tip on the table. "Ready to go?"

Mesa took a sip of her own water before she took her case and
put in on her back. "Yeah, let's go." As they made their way
towards the door, she quietly asked, "So where and when is this
happening?"

Foxtrot remained silent until they were outside, "Warehouses
located further south. I know of the area so we'll head there
immediately." As they approach the car, Roni starts it up; the
smooth purr of the engine resonates into clear night sky. Now we
have a coupe of hours until the deal goes down. Moore than
enough time to end their operation." Once the two get inside,
Roni and Pepper look over to them. "South Pine Street. Warehouse
275." Without another word the car takes off into the night.

Mesa nodded and got in the car. As she settled back in her seat,
she stared straight forward, not daring to look out the windows.
She did not need to see anything else that wasn't real tonight.
Not when they were possibly heading into the real danger. She
needed to focus. She closed her eyes, breathing through her
nose.

It wouldn't take long before they finally arrive. The dimly lit
area seems to be empty, so they park about a block away from
the building. Unbeknownst to them, a mysterious figure watches
from one of the rooftops, observing their movements. Getting out
of the car, the group makes their way to the entrance finding a
padlock on it.
Foxtrot looks it over, "Well, my truck worked on the door; can't
see any harm trying it again." Holding the lock on his hoofs,
they glow again as they vibrate the tumblers inside. With a
click it pops open, allowing them all access. The warehouse was
huge, a maze of crates and boxes filling the building up. "Ok,
just look for crates labeled D124 to D168."

Mesa grabbed her case and followed after Foxtrot, grinning as
the stallion's trick worked again to unlock the padlock. Mesa
immediately started looking for the crates in question, knowing
it might take awhile. She scanned through the boxes' labels as
she walked, eventually disappearing from sight as she made her
way further into the maze.

Roni stayed by the door as Pepper followed Foxtrot and Mesa
through the crates. Foxtrot himself was keeping an eye out for a
little bit more than what he said. Should he come across it,
he'd certainly take the spare time to investigate. In due time
he splits from Pepper and Mesa, continuing his own path through
the warehouse. Suddenly, his ears straighten out as he spots the
familiar pattern in the corer of his eye. SM1A1; immediately the
unicorn rushes over to it, eyes wide at the discovery. A
combination lock was embedded in the crate itself. Foxtrot
didn't want to chance his hoof trick again; thankfully, he
didn't have to. Reaching into his pocket, he pulls out the piece
of paper from earlier; 17, 8, 95. A gentle click confirms its
success. Pulling the lid up, Foxtrot almost gasps at what he's
found.
As Mesa would continue further down, she would come across crate
D132. Another designated crate would be found next to it, but no
others would be in sight. Someone though has her in their
sights. The feint whisper of their hoofsteps sound off high in
the support beams in the dark. Meanwhile, three cars pull up
right in front of the warehouse. Twelve ponies get out and make
their way towards the entrance; one of them donning a white
suit, contrast to the matching black of the rest.

Mesa found the two crates, and was about to call out when her
ears abruptly perked up as a faint sound reached them. She
followed the sound up, squinting at the darkness. "Foxtrot?" She
called out evenly, not shifting her gaze. "I found a couple."
She didn't call out anything about the noise, first she wanted
to make sure she wasn't hearing things. Leaving her case on a
nearby crate, Mesa took off, beating her wings strongly as she
flew towards where she thought she had heard the noise.

Foxtrot's smile couldn't get any wider as he looks upon his
discovery. Embedded in foam cushioning, was a brand new M1A1
Thompson

submachine gun. It's carbon metal and
polished stock was only matched with the custom etching on the
receiver. 'The Annihilator' sticks out with its gold lettering
and cursive writing. It's complemented with three box magazines
and a round drum. "Yes!" Foxtrot whispers with excitement. He
discovered Scarhoof placing a special order for himself. This
wasn't the first time he... acquired such things from criminal
elements, at this point it's a matter of not getting caught. His
new weapon slings over his shoulder; one box magazine is loaded
as the others clip onto a belt also found inside of the crate. A
shadow in the corner of his eye draws him to a darkened corner.
Something was there; standing, looking at him. His body nearly
spasms as a sharp chill grips his spine. The unicorn shoulders
his gun, finding the figure already fleeing around the corner.
He doesn't move, 'Fox, make sure this is real. You're past that
point now. Focus.' Taking a deep breath, Foxtrot ventures
forward through the maze. He had a job to do; find the crates,
or his companions, and pray he doesn't find anything else.
Roni spat out his toothpick and waited by one of the crates near
the entrance. His hat was tipped over his face, an obvious sign
of a napping stallion. The ponies outside make their way into
the main office. Passing through a hallway leads them into the
main warehouse. Roni's ears twitch as he picks up on the
hoofsteps; looking up, he spots them approaching. Not making a
sound, he slips into the maze of crates and begins looking for
the others.
The mysterious figure still balancing and bounding high up keeps
out of sight from the others. Their position allows them to
easily scan the whole scene. They know where everyone is, and
who to target first. For now, they need to get into position.

Mesa kept flying upwards, but, away from lights, it quickly grew
too dark to see anything. Annoyed at herself for chasing
somepony that probably wasn't even there, Mesa started to fly
back down. She suddenly realized she had heard no response from
Foxtrot. In fact, the whole maze was eerily quiet. Taking a deep
breath and telling herself she was sure everything was alright,
she flew a bit higher and scanned the warehouse. Some crates
were stacked so high they blocked her view, but after a few
moments of searching, she located Roni and flew down. Landing in
front, she asked, "Have you seen Foxtrot?" She kept her tone
quiet, for some reason feeling unwilling to completely shatter
the silence. She didn't notice that she had left her case deeper
in the maze.
