Interviewer: I’m here today with Silver Sage, a magical mare
whose street performances have earned the wonder of ponies
throughout Baltimare. First off, let me say thank you for
providing me with an exclusive interview! It’s an honor to meet
you, Miss Sage.
Silver Sage: The honor is mine! And please, the “miss” is
unnecessary. Just call me Sage.
Interviewer: Alright Sage, let’s start with the basics. Where
are you from?
Silver Sage: *laughs* I’m sorry, but I don’t do backstory. I
prefer to focus on the future.
Interviewer: Very well, what does the future hold?
Silver Sage: I think I’ve provided all the entertainment that I
can for Baltimare… It’s time to move on.
Interviewer: What? You’re leaving us? Many ponies will be sad to
hear that news. But I understand… you’ve taken Baltimare, and
now you’re on to bigger and better things! Where is that, for
you?
Silver Sage: Why, Canterlot, of course! I’ve always wanted to
go.
Interviewer: Do you really believe your skills are strong enough
to entertain such a prestigious crowd?
Silver Sage: I do. We’re ready for this.
Interviewer: …’we’, Sage?
Silver Sage: Little Sage and I! We’re a team!
Interviewer: Ah, of course, how could we forget your famous
assistant? Of course, the credit for your success goes to you
alone!
Silver Sage: Well, of course.
Interviewer: So what are you most looking forward to in
Canterlot?
Silver Sage: Oh, where to start? I’ve heard so many wonderful
things about it! I can’t wait to try the cuisine, see the
sights, and make more friends! And of course, I wouldn’t say no
to being able to perform for the princesses, either…
Interviewer: You’re an ambitious mare, and I can admire that!
Silver Sage: Well, thank you. I just feel so lucky to have such
an amazing talent. I want to share the beauty of it with
everypony I can!
Interviewer: That’s a noble goal. Though, your humility should
hardly come as a surprise to me and your other fans. Is it true
that you’ve donated more than half of your performance earnings
to various charities across Baltimare?
Silver Sage: Oh my… you mean you heard about that? I was assured
that my donations would be marked down as anonymous.
Interviewer: *laughs* I’m afraid that happens once your famous,
Sage!
Silver Sage: It… really wasn’t a big deal. I didn’t need all
those bits.
Interviewer: Now now, don’t be modest. Will you continue these
generous habits while in Canterlot?
Silver Sage: *sighs* Yes, I plan to.
Interviewer: You’re an inspiration to us all! Well, I’m afraid
we’re nearly out of time, but I have one last question… If you
could tell your fans anything, what would it be?
Silver Sage: Now that’s a good question…
Interviewer: Sage? Are you alright? You look a bit shaky.
Silver Sage: I’m… I’m… I’m fine. I just had a brief dizzy spell.
Interviewer: I’m sorry to hear that, but don’t worry,
nervousness during an interview is a perfectly normal thing. In
fact- Sage? What are you doing?
Silver Sage: …
Interviewer: What are you… AUGH! STOP! PLEASE STOP! SOMEPONY
HELP ME! HELP… me… please… ple…
Interviewer: …
Silver Sage: I would let them know how much I appreciate their
support! I consider each and every fan a friend, and look
forward to making many more! Thank you! *laughs*
