Tinder follows close behind, glancing to the map as it's passed
over, "What's that?" She adjusts her bag as they walk, "Are you
sure? What if they end up figuring out who I am? They might try
to arrest me or something...."

"Tinder, you have a clean record, a fresh start. Besides, if
they do find out who you are, they may want to shake your hoof."
The captain looks down over to his armor, "You'll be my
responsibility. So uh, try not to see what's in their wallet."
He lets out a light chuckle afterward. "My guard handed me the
map to the castle. It should make navigation much easier."

"I'll try not to, I don't want to to get you in trouble. But if
they are jerks, I may have to, I can't not take money from
jerks." She nervously laughs, hoping the captain will take it as
a joke even though she didn't mean it as one.

The captain chuckles, seeming to take Tinder's jest at face
value. The remaining trip is rather calm, a light breeze
throughout carries the various scents of the town's shops and
stalls. It wouldn't take long before they reach the outskirts of
the forest. The scene itself is still familiar to the noctral.
The clearing where they slayed the tefelhunden. "Alright, this
is the place."

"Sure thing Tinder." Ebony answers as he pulls out the rest of
the strips. "Best to get this done and out of the way." He gives
her the strips and waits for her to work her magic.

Tinder nods and sits down, taking the strips and laying them out
in front of her. "Hopefully these work just as well.." She goes
to work enchanting them one by one, though her magic sparks off
every now and then, freezing some items around them including
some items belonging to Ebony. She doesn't even seem to notice
this, being much too focused on the strips. She takes a deep
breath and smiles as she finishes, "Done!"

"Thank you, Tinder." Ebony replies. He takes the strips back and
pockets them for later use. "Now all we have to do is wait for
the others."

Tinder smiles at him, happy that she could help, "You're
welcome!" She lays down on the ground, closing her eyes to try
to relax and recharge from the magic usage, grabbing pills from
her bag and popping a few more. This dose bringing her way past
a safe amount, and who knows how many more she took before Ebony
came for her.

As the two wait for more to arrive, a serene calmness surrounds
the area. Birds chirp and flutter across the sky as animals on
the ground go about their business. After some time Ebony yawns
and looks over to Tinder, "So, how's work treating ya?"
