"Well uh..." Lima trails off, "You were about to answer your own
question with that little story you've been telling. Just
getting to the good bits I believe." The agent decodes to get
more comfortable in her seat. Adjusting the brown cape covering
most of her body, she now the stallion opposite of her becoming
rather bothered.
"How long were you listening?" Samiel asks.
"I rounded the corner to the hallway just as you were letting
your pal into your office," Lima answers, "Now I had just
assumed she was here to uh..." The mare chuckles, bruising aside
a few locks of her brought green mane. "Stuff, but when you two
got talking. My ear was just glues to that door." Her deep, blue
eyes glance over to Lina, "Remind me not to have you near my
precious furniture. That sounded like quite the throw you made
there."

Lina had tensed, eyes wide when she learned the newcomer was a
former member of The 26, the very group she and Samiel had just
been speaking about. Only to hear that the mare had been
eavesdropping…
Lina really didn’t like being listened in on.
The grey pegasus actually made half a lunge towards Lima, before
pulling herself back with more than a little difficulty.
However, she didn’t say anything beyond quietly muttering
something about breaking more than furniture if Lima tried that
again.

Luma couldn't help but smile at Lina's reaction. "Woah! Hehe,
easy there sweetheart," Her hoof brushes up part of her cape,
revealing a Mauser C96

/>"Sudden moves like that ate dangerous around these parts. So
let's keep this civil, shall we?" Turning to Samiel, Lima leans
forward. "You stopped right after your little assassination
attempt on my agent. I'm his handler, by the way. I'm
responsible for his well being, and making sure he status in one
piece from everything that tries to kill him. I must admit, I'm
glad I did such a good job."
Samiel still remains tense, the fact that good own means of
defense is on the other side of the room. "A good job creating a
monster. Just like yourself; just like that entire
organization!" His own anger starts to swell. He glances over to
Lina, "The Hidden Daggers? It was simply a name, an alias The 26
gave themselves to stay hidden. A war they started just for
profit!"

Lima stays quiet as she waits for him to finish, her face
showing little care for his outburst. As soon as he's done, she
nods. "You're right Samiel. In the end it centered on profit;
and let me tell you, we uh... certainly profited from it. But
like you said, they lied to everyone, even their own. The
Directors, they lied to me, my agent, and anyone else who
stepped into this country. After your stunt of trying to kill my
guy, I had to put him back together. I watched him struggle to
get his life back together. What happened in Calais, wasn't
supposed to go down like that. So I did some digging, and I
found out the truth; about you, the Directors, and The Hidden
Daggers. I was the one who got the evidence. The Reaper
of Calais was the one who not only gave it to you, but actually
took down all those responsible so you could drag them here and
get all the glory."
Samiel wanted to punch her, really, he did. But as much as he'd
hate to admit, she was right. And if she was the one who
gathered the proof against her own group... The stallion simply
sighs and relaxes in his seat. "Alright, so you've gone against
them. This still doesn't explain why you need to see them
again."

Lina went very still as she processed at the new information.
And then, when Lima was finished, Lina started laughing. Loud,
hysterical laughter that sounds ominously deranged. “I can’t
believe it,” She gasped out. “Here I am, sitting next to a pony
whose organization is responsible for murdering my mother and
father, and I don’t even have a weapon!” She continued cackling
for a moment, before she stood up and abruptly went dead silent.
When she spoke, her voice wasn’t amused. Instead, it was filled
with an almost unfathomable amount of hatred. She took one step
towards Lima. “Well guess what? I don’t care you were lied to. I
don’t care about your precious agent’s welfare. And I don’t care
if you double-crossed The 26. All I care about is the fact that
my parents are dead, and your organization is responsible.” She
took another step towards Lima, uncaring of the gun. “So if I
can’t blame you, can’t blame the Reaper… Then just who the HELL
am I supposed to blame?! Someone has to PAY!” She took one last
step forward. By now, she was right in front of the other mare
as she stared Lima straight in the eyes.

Lima looks straight into Lina's eyes. If was a familiar look,
one she's seen to many times; one that she herself had at one
point. Once Lina finishes, the agent sighs, "You, and plenty of
others, have the Directors to blame." Her tone changes to once
of sincerity. "Look kid... I'm sorry about your parents; really,
I am. I've seen many who've lost loved ones because of their
crap. But right now, they're locked up. It's not the justice
that you want, and is certainly not the one they deserve, but
that's how things are right now." The mare turns to Samiel,
"Unless there's plans to do otherwise; is there?"

To say Samiel was startled by Lina's response was rather an
understatement. Not just the laughter, but the amount of pain
that drove her to such limits want easy to take in. He stays to
the side of the two mares talking. The pegasus takes a deep
breath when asked the question. "They're being held to obtain
information about any further whereabouts in the country.
Although many call for their death, the Directors are very
fluent in our laws. They've positioned themselves in a spot
where such actions cannot be obtained. At least, not for now."

Lina wasn’t sure was she expected, but it certainly wasn’t
sympathy. She was so taken aback that she didn’t respond, just
blinked at Lima. At the former agent’s question, however, Lina’s
head quickly swiveled to focus on Samiel. When he finished, Lina
was silent for a moment, trying to pull herself together. Then
she spoke.
“Legally,” she corrected Samiel evenly. “You mean their death
cannot be obtained legally.” She looked at Lima. “You said it
yourself, prison is not the justice they deserve.” She took a
deep breath, controlling her anger. For now. “We could do it.
The three of us. We could enact justice.” It pained Lina to
admit to herself that success was more likely if she got help,
but desperate times called for desperate measures. Afraid both
would protest, Lina quickly addressed each of them.
“Lima, this is your chance. You helped put them behind bars, you
could help put them in Tartarus. Absolutely no pony could blame
you for your organization’s wrongs after that. And Samiel, I
consider you a friend. You could help me, help me enact justice
when the laws of Saddle Arabia cannot. Please.” Every word was
said carefully as she eyed both of them to gauge their
reactions.

Samiel leans back in his seat, sighing in frustration at the
situation he's in. He wipes his face with his hoofs, "Damn
it..." he gets up and walks towards the window. "As much as is
like to help Lina, and I'd certainly love to... my position in
this political spectrum has my hoofs tied. And that's not the
only issue. The Directors have been separated. Two in one town,
two in another, and the final out in the middle of nowhere. I
could... inform you both of where they're located. But I can't
be mentioned, by either of you about this." A devilish smirk
appears on his face. "The authorities can't track a random
individual bringing justice to their own. Especially after the
flood of threats coming in." He turns back and returns to his
seat. "They range from blowing up the capital to just...
things."

Lima certainly didn't like where this was going. She had already
gotten herself out of trouble, and she didn't need anymore with
these two. "Stuff? Like what?" Samiel reaches into one of his
drawers and pulls out a paper. It reads 'Remember α.' over
and over for the entire duration of the page. "That's the letter
for alpha. Remember alpha? What kind of a threat is that?"
"Beats me," the stallion replies, "but it's the only one that
really stuck out from the rest."
"Hmm, I guess that's another question I'll have to ask them
about." Lima says as she gets up. She looks over to Lina, "And
that's all I'll be doing. I came here to get answers, not
vengeance. If it'll ease your mind to listen as to why they did
this whole thing in the first place, you're welcome to tag
along. But I'm not killing anyone."
Samiel turns to Lina, "That is possible. I can grant you two
authorization to see them. Ask what you want. The agent can
leave, and you Lina would have to take justice into your own
hoofs after that. I still don't trust this operative though,
despite her contributions. So this is how we can go. I'll give
you both the location to one of the places the Directors are
being held. You both go there, do business, and the guards give
you the second location, and so on. Lina, keep an eye on her. If
she tries anything suspicious or tries to free them, you have
the blessings of the country to kill them all."
