Clair gives a start in surprise when Pinkie pops up and starts
shouting. He wasn't asleep, but Clarity was, and was still
holding onto him like a teddy bear. She also somehow wasn't
roused by the Pie's shouting, though he's sure the whole forest
heard it. When she disappears again, he reaches up and shakes
her shoulder. "Clarity, we're here," he says, softly.
It still works better than Pinkie to wake her up. She blinks
awake and yawns, pulling Clair against her tighter for a moment.
"Hmmm. Where...Oh." She lets go of him and they both stand
and stretch before exiting the bus, Clair tapping ahead with his
cane with Clarity's arm wrapped around him from behind in case
of falling. "So did you sleep at all on the way? Hear anything
interesting?"
"No, I didn't sleep, and everything I hear is interesting for
one reason or another," Clair replies as they step off, Clarity
stepping to his side and taking more control over their
direction, guiding him gently in the direction of the gazebo.
"But I don't think anything you'd find especially important.
And I don't know who anyone is, so I'm not sure who all was
saying what."

Harmony stopped practicing as she felt the bus stop, and took
off her headphones and packed away her violin. Gathering
everything, she waited for most of the others to go in front of
her before she disembarked. She clicked and located where the
other students were congregating, by some sort of a large
structure, and joined them. She found the nearest people and
approached them. “Hi there! I’m Harmony,” she introduced. “Do
you know what happens now? This is my first time here,” she
explained to Clair and Clarity.

Fluttershy noticed Sona again and whispered to the bird who gave
Flutters a nod and fluttered over to Sona and landed on her
shoulder chirping happily. She laughed lightly at Rarity. "I
brought my outfit from last time. I figured you wanted to start
that again. Though Dash is right, I hope the dock stays in tact
this time."

Sunset made her way over after watching Sona.
"He's right. It will hit you if you keep believing. Trust me. It
takes time." She nudged Sona's shoulder with her elbow and
winked. "You knowww. Fluttershy might give you some tips on
animals if you talk to her... She may be a bit shy but I think
you two are kinda similar in a way."

Sona continued staring disappointedly at the ground, only
looking up when an unfamiliar guy addressed her. She nodded
slowly in response to his question, only to be met with an
awkward silence. She gave a small smile at his next words
though. “You think so?”
Suddenly, a bird flew from Fluttershy and landed on Sona’s
shoulder. The girl stared at it wonder, her smile growing wide.
She held up her hand, letting the bird lightly peck at her
fingers. She glanced at Fluttershy, suspecting what the other
girl did, and whispered, “Thank you…” She looked at Sunset at
her playful nudge, but gave a shy, noncommittal shrug at her
suggestion, causing the bird to whistle briefly in alarm.

Broadshield continues to watch the ever growing group forming
around the gazebo. A few other campers also sit on various
picnic benches, waiting to start this week of camp off. He takes
a look at his watch before sighing. "Come on, it shouldn't take
this long for them to get ready to start right? he asks,
questioning himself.

Octavia simply watches and listens to the girls talking about
their magic. Ever since last camp, their magic has been slowly
improving, having time to practice and master it. Seeing them
here again, this time with the new gemstones and powers, it
almost feels nostalgic, or like Déjà vu even. "Ever since last
camp, you've all made so much progress with the magic you've
discovered, maybe you might learn new things this year as well."
she says, turning to Sona. "I don't know anything about this
magic business, but I'm sure that you'll get something from this
camp. If the girls could get their own magic, I don't see why
you couldn't, or any of us for that matter." she says. Looking
at her cello, she wonders when they'll get started, the sooner
they start, the more free time they get, and more practice on
her cello.

Rainbow first watches as Sona, she thinks her name was, trying
to do what Fluttershy was doing, close, but to no avail as the
bird doesn't come to her. "Cheer up, sure, maybe your magic
might not be talking to animals like Fluttershy, but I'm sure
when you do get it, it'll be just as awesome!" she says. Turning
to Applejack and her question, she chuckles, saying "I hope it
doesn't. As much as I love my new powers, I don't really want to
be running around so fast I end up back in town again. All goes
well, we'll all be fine, nothing bad will have happened." she
says. Rolling her eyes at Rarity and her fashion show making a
comeback, she says "Seriously Rarity? I would've thought after
last year, you weren't going to do any more fashion shows here,
in case something destroys the dock... again."
She idly pays attention to the others around the gazebo and at
the benches, but her eyes fall on Broadshield, who she vaguely
knows, maybe in the same class with her somewhere. But what was
more surprising was not only was he at camp, something he
doesn't really do unless he has to, and how he was sort of
eyeing the group. Upon the two of them making eye contact, both
quickly look away, going back to their own thing, whether it be
spying on the group, or chatting with their friends.

Clarity turns Clair and herself towards Harmony and smiles,
taking note of the girl's dark glasses. A common indicator of
blindness, much like Clair's white cane. She'd opted out of
Clair wearing them because she thought it made him look less
cute. Impressive that she seems to be getting along so well
without help. "Hi there! This is Clair, and I'm his twin
sister Clarity. Nice to meet you!." She takes Clair's hand and
Harmony's, putting them together to shake, even if the hand
wasn't offered.
"Yeah, it's a pleasure, Harmony." Clair shakes Harmony's hand
at Clarity's behest, his head turned not quite directly towards
her, oblivious to much of the situation.
"It's my first time here too, but I think there's going to be
some kind of speech or something and then we'll be assigned to
our tents and find out who our tentmates are."
Clair immediately sounds concerned. "You don't think they'll
separate us, do you?"
"I'm sure they won't. Don't worry your cute little head,
Clair." Clarity gives him a kiss on the top of his head.

Applejack watches for a moment, tuning in on the many
conversations that were being held amongst the group. She was
still a bit tired, but could manage for now... All she could
really think about at the moment was the events that happened
the prior year, and while she told herself that everything was
going to be fine, Applejack still erred on the side of caution.
"I'm sure you're right, Rainbow Dash. Still doesn't hurt to be
careful, all things considered... I just need a good night's
rest is all."
