       Up by the Everfree Forest

       There was a small structure near the edge of the Everfree
       forest. The windows appeared to be boarded up and it looked as
       if nopony was home. But there was one home alright. Fluttershy
       had already created her fort inside her room. She had blankets,
       pillows, and all of her animal friends huddled around her as she
       was prepared to protect herself from the scary monsters on
       Nightmare Night."

       Sona trotted away from Fluttershy’s hut, on her way downtown to
       the festivities. After the yellow pegasus had told Sona about
       the tradition of dressing up for Nightmare Night, Sona had made
       an attempt to be festive. She was wearing her usual silver
       cloak, but she had spent some precious bits on a jar of
       glow-in-the-dark paint. Glowing green swirls and dots spiraled
       up her front legs and decorated her face, and her eyes were
       lined with the paint to create an eerie effect.
       As usual, there was no emotion on her face, but inside, Sona was
       more than a little nervous. She had never experienced anything
       even vaguely similar to Nightmare Night, and she had little idea
       what to expect. She suddenly stopped in her tracks, hesitating
       before she turned around and headed straight back to
       Fluttershy’s house. The boarded up windows didn’t seem to
       perturb her, and she walked straight inside and to the pegasus’s
       room. “Fluttershy?” Sona called out. “Oh, uh… hello everyone,”
       she greeted the animals before turning her attention back to her
       roommate. “Look, Fluttershy, are you sure you don’t want to come
       with me?”

       Fluttershy screamed when she heard Sona's voice. She then poked
       her head out from the blanket tent she had made. "Yes I'm sure!"
       She quickly answered.
