       The Festivals Downtown

       Astrid was bouncing around in her space suit with a helmet full
       of candy. She poured a bowl of it in there until it was just
       below her nose and closed her visor. So what if they still had
       the wrapper on them, it was CANDY.
       The decorations were sure spooky, Astrid never actually liked
       horror themed anything, but hey, it was her first Nightmare
       Night in Ponyville. She can't miss that! And besides... what can
       possibly scare her? A little filly dressed as a zombie? No way.

       Nightmare Night. An evening full of scares and tasty delights.
       For one princess though, it means so much more. Luna steps out
       of her chambers onto the balcony. Her mane flowing freely;
       resembling the clear night sky above. The city below is humming
       with some celebration. But there's one place she'd rather be.
       Ponyville, a small village indeed, but one she's grown rather
       comfortable with. And tonight is are to be filled with fun and
       excitement.
       There's a knock on her chamber door. "Your highness. Your
       chariot to Ponyville awaits."
       A small smile appears on her face. She's been using her free
       time in the past few months to work on a pleasant surprise for
       the little town. If all goes well, this could be the best
       Nightmare Night yet! Wasting no time, Luna trots over to her
       door. Next stop, Ponyville.

       Rainbow Dash always loved Nightmare Night, it was one of her
       favorite events, alongside Hearth's Warming Eve. She loved
       everything about it, the games, the dressing up or 'cosplay'
       whatever they call it, the candy, the party, and of course, the
       scares.
       This Nightmare Night, she was at the town center immersing
       herself in the activities there while waiting for others. For
       this Nightmare Night, she was dressed up as a pilot. With the
       rise of planes and helicopters in Equestria, and the fact that
       Rainbow didn't want to reuse her Shadowbolt, Astronaut and
       Daring Do outfits from previous Nightmare Nights and
       conventions, it was an obvious choice for her.
       Finishing the game she was at, she walked around, trying to find
       anyone she knew.
