"Oh! Lunar Guard. Some ponies told me that I should be there
instead of EASEA, but I think I'm very happy where I am." She
got really excited when he mentioned that he was an engineer. "I
guess you and I have something in common... just in different
areas.... and ugh violence can annoy me too. I'm just glad we
live in a nation that's all about friendship!"

"It seems to have become standard for Noctrals to join the Lunar
Guard, but in the end, we are all free to pursue our own
interests." Indigo seems to stall for a moment after Astrid's
last comment, frowning a little as she sighs. "A nation that's
all about friendship... While that's certainly true in many
regards, there are still some very unfriendly things that rear
its ugly head every now and then. Otherwise, we would have no
need for groups such as the Lunar and Royal Guard, or at least
as expansive as we currently are. But... That's why I'm here. To
keep everypony safe."

"I really appreciate what you do." Astrid nodded. "You know...
in space we all get along! There's no violence up there."

"I would have to agree with that, Astrid... You know, if you're
looking for somepony to help out, I'm sure I can do so. I just
need to draw up blueprints for my current project, and perhaps
get a working prototype in order."

"I could use all the help I can get. That only is if you are
interested... I need passionate ponies helping you know? Ponies
like me not to sound too arrogant." Astrid smiled.

"That doesn't sound arrogant at all," Indigo replies, giving
Astrid a bit of a smile as she takes out a clipboard full of
blue graphing paper. "There's a fine difference between being
knowledgeable in your field, and being passionate about it. I've
seen many ace engineers get shot down in lieu of somepony who
would apply themselves 110%." The mare picks the flower out of
her hair, which doubled as a pen, and starts drawing something,
marking out measurements and other equations.

"I can show you my workspace after i finish posting more of
these flyers." Astrid fluttered her wings. She peered at what
the other noctral was drawing but patiently waited for her to
finish.

The drawing didn't seem like anything at first... Just a few
shapes here and there with various measurements and calculations
with their corresponding sides. The more Indigo added, however,
the more the drawing started to make sense. The structure itself
looked like a hexagonal pyramid- nothing too fancy, at least at
a glance. Underneath the drawing, however, was a six-sided star,
measured out to meet each facet of the pyramid's base, and
inside the star was a diagram of a small box. "Drawing,
measuring, and building are relatively easy... Math never lies,
and if your numbers are good, you can build anything you'd like
with utmost precision. The hard part is application... Math and
numbers can only do so much against the ever-changing variable
that is magic, especially powerful, near primal magic."

Astrid initially stayed quiet as she watched Indigo draw. "I
see... What background did you say you had in this field again?"
