Very good model agreement for the storm of the season; with 15
to 25 inches of snow where I am...and maybe up to 40 inches in
the higher spots of the Black Hills.
Should start before sunrise Wednesday.
131 years to the day of the Great Eastern Blizzard of March
1888.
Sunny and 56.8 F now (3:45 PM)...a pending blizzard seems
inconceivable.

After about 3 hours of snow; I measured 1.2" new snow @ 2 PM.
Temp 27.9 F and getting quite windy.
Not too impressive yet; but much better than down in Rapid City;
where webcams make it look like it has been almost snowless
there.
Snowing at a good clip currently.

Temp 27.0 with some moderate to heavy snow falling.

Looks like a blizzard out there in the last 20 minutes or so;
with very heavy snow; blowing snow; fog...winds gusting to 40
mph...temp down to 26.2 F.

Storm total 4.5" @ 5 PM.
Unbelievably windy in the last hour. Temp 25.2 F.
Wind gusted to 63 mph down at the Rapid City Airport in the last
hour.

Snow slackened considerably over the last hour; we only saw
2/10ths of an inch new snow to bring the storm total to 4.7" as
of 6 PM.
However, it did get us to an even 60" for the season!
*Celebrates*
Snow is now picking up as I type; temp 25.3 F.
However, that 15 -25 inches I predicted is going to be tough to
get to; what with snow shutting off by about 5 AM.
Are going to need to get under some good bands overnight; even
to reach the lowest end of the prediction.
*Edit: It is now snow quite heavily @ 6:10 PM.
