We had 12.5" of snow here in the 21 day interval (18 January - 7
February)...so my forecast...though ever so slightly
delayed...was not too bad, come to think of it.

It is now -18.0 F here in 'dem Black Hills (lolz)...an excellent
night to hide under the covers and not come out...lolz.

That -19.1 F turned out to be the minimum; it is now up to -13.0
F @ 4:40 AM...as the models correctly forecast some warming
around midnight.
It was the coldest reading of the winter thus far...

We had a high this afternoon of a very welcome 26.8 F...45.9
degrees warmer than the overnight low.

I think we have a good chance for a nice burst of snow for an
hour or two between 11 PM Saturday night (this evening) and 1 AM
Sunday morning...could put down a quick inch.
Exactly 0 F @ 9:33 AM Saturday morning.
Today marks the 70th day the ground has been well-covered with
snow here during this 2018-19 season. The 70 days are not
consecutive; but the count began on 28 September 2018.
