Temp 31.1 F with moderate snow falling.

17.2" on the season so far.
Continues to snow.

1 December 2018: NWS Rapid City "Dry air and late changeover to
snow in s central SD has led to much lower than expected snow
amounts there. Have continued to trim back amounts there."
Lol. Exactly as I predicted YESTERDAY! The webcams out of Wall
& Wasta show little accumulation as of late this afternoon!

A period of light snow seems possible late this afternoon;
should be under an inch.
Another very dry pattern is setting in; we are lucky we have had
as much snow as we have had (close to normal season-to
date)...given the persistent unfavorable set-ups that have
afflicted the area since the good start in the first half of
October.
On a good note; the ratios should be excellent from now through
March...no worse than 20:1 and often close to 30:1.

A few light snowflakes starting to fall @1:25 PM; the 18z NAM
came in a little wetter.
