Cold this morning with the temp. getting down to 34 F. About 50
F in downtown Rapid City; as the UHI is in its full glory.
Good chance of some snow late Thursday into Friday; the UKMET
looked like a good hit around here with 1.00 L.E....some of that
rain at the start; obviously.
Most of the other models were a good deal dryer. We'll see.

Good chance of snow tonight in the Black Hills; starting as
rain; will probably go over to snow by sunset above 6000' and
not change to snow here (@ 4410') until 11 PM or midnight.
Probably 3 to 6 inches; with the 6 more likely the higher one
goes. I would not expect Rapid City to see more than some wet
snow that fails to stick; both at the NWS WFO and out at the
airport.

Some snow starting to show up in the Black Hills SW of Lead; the
6070' station south of Lead down to 32 F @ 8:16 PM.

Gee, I should do this for a living: At 11:05 PM; some wet snow
is mixing in here in the Black Hills @ 4410'. Lol.

Custer, which is very high up (5600'); though at the southern
end of the Black Hills was 32 F and snow.
I'm 36.1 F and mostly snow at 11:20 PM. Not accumulating; wet
snow.

HRRR looks really good in the Black Hills after midnight; with 6
or 7 inches in the high spots.
Still have to lose about 2 more degrees here to get it to
accumulate / currently 36.0 F.

Snow here @ 1 AM / 35.1 F...looks like the snow is just
starting to accumulate on a 2nd story deck...but barely!
