The specter shriek in surprise when the tendrils popped out of
nowhere. When it was grabbed, it tries to break free, obviously
showing that it's not a fan of bondage. Zoe notice this but
instead switch up her stance. Her right hand makes a fist which
is pulsing with raw spirit energy alone since she didn't use
spirit purification. She turn to CM Kindron, Tarlin and Twilly.
Zoe: You guys may want to take a step back. This'll be one hell
of a light show.
She then focus on concentrating her energy into her fist. Once
ready, she gets in a bit closer to the specter. The specter lets
out one last screech at Zoe as she charges at it.
Zoe: Spirit Shotgun!
With that, Zoe performs an uppercut which not only took off half
of the specter's body but also destroy the top half of the body
as well, leaving the bottom half at a much weaker state. Though
not only it was her spirit ki (thanks to her training with Jon
Talbain and the uppercut was a shotokan karate move), but her
suppression ends up severely damaged due to her spirit energy
getting stronger.

Tarlin and Twilly move back before Zoe does her attack, and
watch.
Once Zoe punches the upper body of the specter, Twilly claps.
Twilly: Zoe's strong! He says cheerfully.
Zaz uses the tendrils to try and destroy the lower half of the
body, wanting to make sure the specter was entirely destroyed.
And though he doesn't say anything yet, he does notice Zoe's
increase in spirit energy which worries him a bit.

Zoe was catching her breath as she narrows her eyes at the
specter. Once she sense that it's gone, Zoe makes a small laugh.
Zoe: That... was... awesome! Yes!
Her smile then fades as the wisps comes out and begin panicking.
One of them even point at Zoe's hands which made her observe it.
Her eyes widen in shock and fear when she notice the severe
damaged suppression ring on her finger.
Zoe: Oh, no. No, no, no, no, no, no!

Tarlin goes over to Zoe, noticing the spirit suppression ring's
damage. Tarlin: What happened? How did the ring get damaged?
Twilly runs over too, but his focus was on the rock Zoe had put
in her pocket. Twilly: Zoe... What strange's thing you's have in
pocket? Twilly sense strange powers from it. He says as he
points to Zoe's pocket.
This makes Zaz come over, sensing the rock. Zaz: Zoe. Let me see
the rock your friend is talking about. He says to Zoe, also
worried about the ring and about Zoe.

Zoe: I don't know! It must be because of that thing or
something!
Despite the panic, she hears Twilly and Zaz talk about the rock
she found though she is more so focusing on trying to maintain
her spirit powers. The wisps immediately went to her pocket and
takes it out. They then give it to Zaz and explain that Zoe
found it in the woods. They also explain that it didn't seem
like an ordinary rock and Zoe was planning on asking someone
from Hellsing to take a look at it.

Zaz examines it for a moment while listening to the wisps. Zaz:
It's Azurite. That explains why a specter was here. But... That
doesn't make sense. This world shouldn't have the conditions to
create specters, or bring azurite to this world from the
spiritual plane.
Tarlin: What do you mean? He asks Zaz.
Zaz: The conditions to bring Azurite to this world, as well as
create specters, requires a natural phenomenon that only happens
in a number of worlds. This world has never had that before. And
I've never seen a world that has to deal with both dark spirits
and specters.

Zoe: And I thought my home world's a magnet to chaos. Wait, is
it possible for my world to have those things?
She ask Zaz, trying to keep her mind from panicking and focusing
on making sure her spirit powers doesn't go haywire. Although
she was taught how to control her powers, it still needs to be
restrain for many reasons, one of them being to not have many
evil spirits coming toward her.

Zaz: It should only happen in certain worlds. And it's not
supposed to just start happening for no reason. If your world
hasn't had records of intersections with the spirit plane
before, then it shouldn't be able to intersect with the spirit
plane like some worlds I've seen. Those worlds usually have
special conditions that are present in the foundation of their
universes. It shouldn't just start happening randomly.

Zoe: Right. Well, for now, can we get another suppression ring
or something so I don't accidentally call a bunch of dark
spirits or something?

Zaz: Yeah... And we need to make a stronger ring it seems. If
Azurite is affecting you like this, it must be amplifying your
spirit powers.
Tarlin: Why aren't you affected? He asked Zaz.
Zaz: I'm a death wraith. Spirits from the shadow realm work
differently than spirits from the spirit plane and Spirit Realm,
like those Zoe has connected to her. Some spirits feed on
Azurite, and it's like a power source with a lot of energy. I'm
guessing Zoe's powers with her spirits are amplified by the
Azurite. Mine don't interact with it because shadow realm
spirits don't feed on Azurite.
