Kindron takes the artifact and looks at it once Zeph hands it to
him. Kindron: I do think it's got its own consciousness... But
it's definitely got its own magic. I can sense that much. He
says, analyzing it and using his werepyre senses (including his
ability to sense presences) to try and figure out what he could
about the artifact.

Zelpharia: So that's what is powering that little bugger. I
couldn't sense the magic before. I could just sense the sentient
intelligence and gather that it's some kind of computer. Now a
magic powered super computer is something interesting. Now I
really want to see if it could be translated and may be learn
who created it. Zelpharia says as she looks at it closer in
Kindron's hand.

Kindron: It definitely feels like some kind of magic computer...
It's not that far off from Lunarian technology, although I don't
think Lunarians had AI since they operated stuff by controlling
the magic within, and being able to fuse their minds into their
magic tech through their own magic. It definitely feels like it
belongs to another race. He says as he analyzes it. Weird
though... It's speaking Asgardian, which is weird since I don't
think the Asgard have magic-based tech. He says as he tries to
listen to the speaking of the artifact.

Zelpharia: Hmm.. may be the Asgardian people were the last
beings that this device tried to communicate with. If it doesn't
realize that we're not Asgardian, then may be it communicates in
the last language it was communicated with. She says
thoughtfully as she studies the round supercomputer more
closely. Zelpharia: Magic also explains why Jack and I couldn't
figure out anything about it. Neither of us have ever used magic
before nor could sense magic so it's remained labelled as
"unknown; possibly dangerous" and put into storage until now.

Kindron: It's possible... I can hear some kind of thought waves
being cast off it... It's unlike anything I've felt before. And
I don't think it's psychic in the traditional sense. I think
it's holding data, and an AI inside... And I think someone took
multiple types of tech and tried to combine them. That might be
why this thing feels so strange, and why it's not quite as
stable as it should be. He looks to Luxion, his floating AI
companion. Luxion... I want you to translate as I try to say
what I'm hearing from this thing. He then turns to Zeph. Where
and when did you find this thing? Just out of curiosity?

Zelpharia: Jack and I came across this artifact while on a dig
on New Terra. I think the date was September 9th in the year
3341 around noonish for the 26 hour day planet. Zelpharia says
with a thoughtful look about the artifact. Zelpharia: New Terra
is in the Delta quadrant of the Milky Way near Asgard controlled
space. That's another reason why Jack and I thought that it was
possibly Asgardian.

Kindron: I see. In the future, huh? Alright. Hopefully this
won't be hard to translate. He looks to Luxion. Luxion. I want
you to translate as I talk. I can't talk and translate at the
same time, and I did program an Asgardian translation program
into you. My Asgardian is a bit rusty. Still recovering those
Mar'kin memories of working with the Asgard to help set up the
Asgard/Celestian alliance. He explains. He then starts to focus
on the artifact. He starts repeating what he hears, in which he
seems to state a few sentences, and then pause, before stating
another few sentences, almost as though the speaking was
constantly starting and stopping. This goes on for a few
minutes.
Luxion records what Kindron was saying, but gets confused and
starts beeping as he processes. Luxion: I do not know if my
Asgardian translation is translating properly. It... sounds like
someone or something... is detailing games and how to beat them.
Chess... Rubik's cube... Other games. It's like whatever is
inside is playing different games and talking to itself as it
solves the games it is going through. Luxion says, still
recording and translating as Kindron talks.
CM Kindron: Then whatever is inside may not be aware of us being
here. Maybe the AI inside is trying to entertain itself while it
waits for something. Or someone. He says, walking over. Since
he'd time travelled with the Zelpharia of his time, he was a bit
more used to dealing with new things.

Zelpharia listens to everything with an intense thoughtful look.
Her mind processes what she is hearing and is amazed that the AI
device is solving puzzles and games. She then gets an idea. She
still holds the cables that she tried tapping into the system
via Tara in her hands. She looks to Kindron with a smile and
makes a suggestion. Zelpharia: What if we hooked the AI device
to a monitor, microphone, and speakers? If it can hear us, then
may be it will communicate with us. She holds up the wires a bit
as if to emphasize her idea.

Kindron: That could work... And I could connect it to the
holographic projection system so the AI can project itself. If
this thing has Asgard tech mixed in, I should be able to rig
something up so we can connect to it. He says as he starts
wiring everything together.
CM Kindron finds a spot to sit down. CM Kindron: I'm just going
to stay out of the way. I'm not too much of a tech guy. He says
as he sits down. Best I can do is cook you guys something if
you're hungry. He says with a shrug.
Nightbane just sits in the corner and drinks, just watching the
group.

Zelpharia: Well I hope this will work. Just let me know if we
need any other connection wires. I have a ton of them. She says
to Kindron with a curious look and a twinkle of hope in her
eyes. She then looks to CM Kindron. Zelpharia: I understand how
you feel. I would sit back too if I was out of my element.
Tara forms a holographic chair and takes a seat.
