It was another day in London. Rumors of Order of the Dragon
hideouts had been circulating lately among people in London
where Order of the Dragon members had been congregating while
not in space on the ships owned by the Blackfires and their
allies. It wasn't known what the Order of the Dragon was doing,
but the one thing that was known was that they were definitely
planning something and focusing their forces in London for
something.
Kindron, Akiba, Dufort and Dr. Nate Barker were investigating an
Order hideout. It was the latest in a series of investigations,
and the group was ready for trouble.
However, what awaited them was yet another deserted hideout. It
was as though the Order anticipated their arrival and packed up,
leaving nothing behind.
Kindron: Darn... Another empty base? This sucks.
Akiba: Your evil alternate must be getting back his ability to
see the future. It's like they're four steps ahead of us. He
says with a sigh.
Kindron: I agree. My visions of the future are getting clearer
with each passing week. So I can only guess his are too. He says
in response.
As they further explore, they find a fireplace with a strange
flame. The flame looks normal, but burns much hotter than normal
flames, vaporizing anything nearby. The flame seemed to not be
that strong, and the flame was getting slightly weaker each
second.
Kindron sees the flame and stops. Kindron: What kind of flame is
that? He says as he gets close and feels the flame. He absorbs
some of the flames, realizing what it was.
Dufort: So... What kind of flames are they? He asks Kindron
curiously as his expression changes. I've never seen flames like
this before... They feel... weird.
Kindron: It's a call to the realm of divinity from the realm of
magic. The Lunarians use it to bring people back to life in very
rare circumstances. I never had the stuff to do one myself, or I
could have used it instead of dark arts to bring Acillia back
when I brought her back from the dead. he explains.
Akiba: So. We can bring someone back with these flames? Why
didn't Blackfire use it?
Kindron: Maybe he didn't have anyone to use it on. Or maybe he
was saving it for something. Or... He didn't have what he needed
to complete the Celestial Flames. Kindron thinks for a moment.
The real question is, why did he leave it here for us to find?
Dufort: You think it's a trap? He asks Kindron.
Kindron: I... Don't know. He takes out a strange stone, which
seemed to be a stone similar to the one that is used in his
Decaforce and in Shinso, which were celestial stones given to
him by Clair. There is a way to find out. These flames are about
to die. The spell that holds the flames together is burning out.
I think the other me was planning on the fire being died out
before we got here.
Dr. Barker: Okay... So what do we do?
Kindron: We use it before it dies out. He says with confidence.
The spell will die out soon. If we let it go, we'll have wasted
an opportunity.
Dufort: You have what we need to complete it?
Kindron: I do. He says as cuts his hand open with his finger
nail as his finger nail extends into a claw. Kindron lets the
blood cover the celestial stone, and gets ready. As he does, he
looks at the flames, which were still dying. Blast it... we're
going to run out of time soon! He say as he throws the stone
covered in his blood into the fire. While his hand heals in a
burst of white flames, the flames turn blue and are absorbed
into Kindron. Kindron's eyes change into a glowing blue as
Kindron looks to the group. I need to know who we can bring
back! I don't have anyone in mind to bring back. He says,
desperate for ideas, as though the panic had driven his mind
blank despite having plenty of people he'd have wanted to bring
back if he had time to stop and think about it.
Dr. Nate Barker: Wait... What? LIke who? He says, unsure of how
this process worked.
Kindron: I don't know! Anyone! I'm about to lose the flames!
Just pick someone! He says to the group.
Akiba: Crap.. I don't know
Dufort steps forward. Dufort: Bring back my father! The Kindron
Darkfire from our world. He says to Kindron.
Kindron doesn't think, and simply takes Dufort's suggestion
before it processes in his mind.
Dr. Nate Barker: Wait, what?!
Akiba: Hold on kid, there has to be someone else we can bring
back! He says to Dufort.
However, it's too late to argue, as Kindron had already
activated the spell as they were discussing it.
The blue glow dissipates as Kindron's aura returns to normal.
The blue flames then appear next to him, and seem to take shape
as the flames then disappear and the Crow Mercenaries version of
Kindron appears in place of the flames, almost as though the
Crow Mercenaries Kindron was just summoned from who knows where.
CM Kindron had a long black jacket not too different form Hei's,
and a red dress shirt with a black tie. He was also wearing
glasses, which made him look more like a black haired version of
Kindron with red eyes.
Akiba: Okay... Guess it's too late to change our mind. He says
jokingly. However, internally, he was cursing that he didn't
think to bring back his Integra, or maybe even his mother who
was murdered by Slade Wilson in his world.
CM Kindron: What... Where am I? He says, completely confused
about where he is.
Kindron turns and looks at his alternate self. Kindron: So...
You're Dufort's dad right? I thought it would be like a mirror,
but you're different from how my human form used to look. It
feels like you're a completely different person. He says to Crow
mercenaries Kindron.
CM Kindron then turns to Dufort and hugs him. Unlike most others
who Dufort would resist, Dufort let CM Kindron hug him.
CM Kindron: Hey, kiddo! I missed you! He says to Dufort, who
just hugs his father back with a blank look. Though it was
obvious Dufort was trying to hold back emotions of joy at seeing
his universe's version of his father alive again.
Kindron: So... uh... Welcome to our universe, other me. He says
jokingly to CM Kindron.
CM Kindron looks to Kindron with a curious look as CM Kindron
lets go of Dufort. CM Kindron: Um... Wow. Another me? I wasn't
expecting that.
Dufort: This version of you has been looking after me, along
with another version of Mom. He explains to CM Kindron.
CM Kindron hugs Kindron for a moment before letting him go. CM
Kindron: Thanks for looking after Dufort. He can be a bit hard
to deal with sometimes. He says to Kindron.
Akiba: Hey... I'm here too, buddy! He says, hugging CM Kindron,
who hugs him back.
CM Kindron: I missed you too, Akiba. He says sarcastically as he
hugs Akiba back.
Kindron: This is so weird. I feel like I did back when I first
met Hei... Wondering how I'm going to call him compared to me.
He says jokingly.
CM Kindron: Well... You can call me Wolf Mask if you want. That
was my supernatural hunter name.
Kindron sighs. Kindron: Yeah. Mine too.
CM Kindron: Oh. Um. Then I don't know. He says sarcastically.
Kindron: Yeah, I have no idea either.
CM Kindron: So... we're in another universe? He says to Akiba
and Dufort.
Dufort: Yeah. It's like our universe before the order invaded,
but in the past. And some things are very different here. Like
this world's version of you being a werepyre instead of a
vampire.
CM Kindron: Yeah. I noticed that. I don't even know what to say.
Kindron: Weird. You seem more like me in some aspects, but
you're also a lot colder like Hei is. This is kind of freaky in
all honesty how you're like somewhere in between me and Hei.
It's like if Hei had my history instead of his. He says, looking
at CM Kindron.
CM Kindron: How do you think I feel? I'm in a foreign place
after being dead for how many years?
Akiba: A few... But don't worry, you'll be happy to know the
Hellsing kids are mostly safe and here in this universe as well
after our Earth was pretty much wiped out. He says jokingly. He
then turns to Dufort. Why did you pick Kindron of all people?
Just out of curiosity.
Dufort: I don't know. It's what came out. I wish I could have
picked mother, now that I'm thinking about it. But I guess since
I was looking at this world's version of my father, dad was the
first one that came to mind.
CM Kindron ruffles Dufort's hair jokingly, to which Dufort sits
still for a moment before moving away from CM Kindron since
Dufort didn't really like physical contact. CM Kindron: Nice to
know you still prefer your mom over me, kiddo. He says
sarcastically. Unlike London Kindron, CM Kindron was more of a
dry sarcasm than the lighthearted humor like London Kindron was.
Dr. Barker sighs and softly facepalms. Dr. Barker: Dear god. Yet
another you... My nightmares coming to be a reality... He says
sarcastically.
Today, a new ally is added to London's forces, due to the
group's actions. How will this new addition fare with the heroes
of this world? And what opportunities will come thanks to the
saving of the Crow Mercenaries Kindron.
End.
