RP Profile: Akiba Hellsing (Alternate Dimension Version)
By: Zorbak the Ebil Moglin Date: April 4, 2019, 6:18 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
"I'm not a rookie... I'm Akiba Hellsing. And... I've been
hunting for longer than you've been alive."
"How about I show you kids how it's done?"
"Bullseye." - Akiba to himself after nailing a sniper shot
"We're not tools of the government, or anyone else. Fighting was
the only thing I was good at, but at least I fought for what I
believe in." - Akiba quoting something his mentor, Solid Snake
said to him once.
"Messing with a Hellsing and a group of Darkfires and other
demonic or vampire warriors... Not a great idea... Pulls out
assault rifle and pistol. Especially if you don't have an escape
plan." - Akiba to an enemy who infiltrated the Crow Mercenaries
in his universe
"Right... He says as a vampire bites him in the neck, who's
teeth break trying to bite him due to his outfit being strong.
Did I forget to mention this outfit is vampire proof? Sorry
about that..." - Akiba to an enemy who broke his teeth trying to
bite through Akiba's combat outfit.
"Don't worry, I got the drone. He says over comms during a
mission, as he manages to reprogram the drone using his wearable
device on his arm. After reprogramming, Akiba gets it back into
the air, controlling it with his nanomachines system. I have
eyes in the sky. The drone is ours now." - Akiba during a
Foxhound mission where he reprogrammed a drone so he could use
it to help the team.
"My little sister was a handful... But she was a good kid and
was a great leader. I only wish I was there to protect her when
she needed me."
"So long as even one of the Hellsings exist, we will carry on
our legacy. I'll make sure the Order pays for what they did and
the lives they took. And I will carry on for my family."
"My teacher used to say: 'After a week on the battlefield, no
one has a name.' Personally... I always thought names were the
most important thing we're given. After all... Each name has a
story behind it and is an adventure unto itself to discover."
During an interrogation with one of Slade's people in Foxhound
when Foxhound was hunting Slade after Slade turned on Foxhound.
This was one of the few times that Akiba was visibly pissed off
to a point he did something he wouldn't normally do.
Akiba: Do you know how unstable Slade is? What he's done? Why
are you working for him? He says, being unusually serious and
glaring at the enemy.
Enemy: I know he hurt you... Killed your mother. He says,
taunting Akiba.
Instead of screaming in anger, Akiba gets up with a sigh, and
puts his chair to block the door hand from from being able to be
turned to open the door, causing his superior officers to panic
and send someone to try and get into the room, knowing that
Akiba was about to do something that they wouldn't approve of.
Akiba takes out his pistol, and cocks it with a cold look.
Akiba: Tell me where Slade is... Or else I'm going to shoot you.
The enemy laughs. Enemy: You can only kill me once. Kill me and
you won't find him.
Akiba aims his pistol at the enemy. Akiba: I don't have to kill
you... Just wound you. I know over 35 places I can shoot you
where it will be nonlethal, but still cause the maximum amount
of pain. Tell me where he is, or you'll start seeing what those
spots are one by one. He says, not yelling, but seeming to have
a cold fury in his eyes.
The enemy hesitates, as Akiba's allies try to open the door.
Enemy: You won't... Even if you did, that gun can barely do anyd
amageHe says, seeming somewhat confident.
Akiba, without hesitation, shoots the enemy in the shoulder.
Akiba; That's one. Any requests for the next spot I can shoot
you in?
The enemy winces in pain, holding the gunshot wound. Enemy: If I
tell you, he'll kill me! He says, gritting his teeth.
Akiba: Your choice. He says, shooting him again, causing him to
scream. Either he kills you, or after 35 shots, I kill you. It's
up to you.
The enemy whimpers from the pain. Enemy: Fine... I'll tell you.
But your people have to protect me... He's working out of the
old warehouse district! His son is running the operation while
Slade is off planning, but he returns there to check up at least
once a week.
Akiba: Good. I'm sure they'll be happy to work something out.
Thanks for your cooperation... He motions to his pistol before
putting it away. And if you bring up my mother again, I will not
hesitate to put the last bullet of this magazine in your brain.
During training with Blademaster Raven in his universe.
Blademaster Raven: You've been hunting vampires for how long?
How did you ever survive?
Akiba: Smiles. Maybe I'm tougher than I look.
Blademaster Raven: You didn't seem it earlier when we were
training.
Akiba: Only cause I got nothing to prove, kid.
During an interrogation with an Order of the Dragon member.
Akiba enters as Blademaster Raven leaves with Takahashi and
watch from the other room.
Akiba: I don't suppose you'll work with me on this. He says to
the Order member.
Order Member: I won't break easily! He says threateningly to
Akiba.
Akiba: Pulls out knife. Everyone says that till the pain
starts...
Order Member: A normal knife like that won't kill me! That puny
thing will barely hurt me!
Akiba: Oh... I'm counting on it. Jams knife into the Order
member's hand, making him wince in pain, and leans close. Let me
give you some advice. Whispers something to the Order member no
one else can hear.
Order Member: ALRIGHT! I'LL TALK!
From the other room:
Blademaster Raven: Wait... I didn't hear him! What did he say?!
Takahashi: You don't want to know... He says with a sigh.
During another interrogation.
Akiba: So... What's your favorite color? He says, asking a
pointless question, which he'd been doing for the last 10
minutes (just asking pointless questions).
Enemy: Why should I tell you? He says, getting annoyed at all
the pointless questions.
Akiba: Favorite color. Mine's green... Go figure. He says
jokingly, pointing to his outfit.
Enemy: Don't you want to know where your friends are being
held?!
Akiba: You made it clear you weren't going to tell us, so I want
to get to know you a bit. He says jokingly.
Enemy: But they're going to die if you don't get the information
from me, you know! If you don't get to the Wraith base in what's
left of London Market, you'll never save them! He says.
Akiba smiles. Akiba: Under London Market huh? He says, making
the enemy's face go pale at realizing he revealed the base while
he was talking without meaning to. Well. Thanks for your
cooperation. He says with a smile as he gets up and walks out of
the room.
He walks into the other room.
Blademaster Raven: Trap?
Akiba: Trap.
Blademaster Raven: Figures... Never ceases to surprise me how
good you are at throwing off expectations. It would have taken
hours to break him the normal way. He says about Akiba's
interrogation techniques.
Akiba: Luckily there's better ways. He says confidently.
During a conversation with Slade when they were working together
and an enemy came after them.
Slade Wilson: Your friend hasn't explained your beef with this
vampire.
Akiba: My past is coming back to haunt me.
Slade Wilson: Smiles and chuckles. Seems to be a recurring theme
with you, kid.
During the Order Invasion when Slade appeared and kidnapped
Integra Hellsing to get to Akiba back in his universe.
Akiba: How'd you get off the island?!
Slade: That is your first question? He says, somewhat surprised.
Akiba: Well, you've made it pretty clear that you're not going
to tell me where my sister is. So, yeah, that is my first
question.
"Find something to believe in, and find it for yourself. When
you do, pass it on to the future. You're strong kid... Strong
enough to make your own path." - Akiba's mentor's words to Akiba
"Well of course he didn't tell you about me. Your brother likes
his secrets..." - Slade Wilson when he confronted Integra
Hellsing in his universe who didn't know about Slade
"I wouldn't get on his bad side if I were you. Do you really
want to p*ss off someone who can put a bullet in your a*s from
another zip code?" - Akiba's friend Flynn Hunter to a Foxhound
member about Akiba and his sniper skills
"CQC? We got someone who fancies himself a Big Boss..." -
Someone who saw Akiba's fighting style and realized that it was
Big Boss's style
Legal Name: Akiba Hellsing (Dimensional Alternate)

by Slade Wilson)
- Half-Sister: Integra Hellsing (Alternate Dimension Version)
(Killed by the Order of the Dragon)
- Adopted Daughter: Chelsea Hellsing (Alternate Dimension

Weapons:
- Custom M82A2 Model Anti-Materiel Rifle: This is a customized
M82 that Akiba was using while in Foxhound in his world, which
he's modified over the years supernatural hunting, and is one of
his most used weapons. This weapon is an anti-materiel rifle
that holds 10 round clips and fires .50 inch or 12.7 mm ammo,
designed for piercing military equipment rather than killing
people. This rifle has enough power to blast through armored
vehicles, and even through powerful cyborgs. This weapon can be
used against stronger enemies like strong supernaturals, but
overall it is designed more to be used against things like tanks
and other military vehicles or things with heavy armor. This
weapon is a sniper rifle, designed for long range shooting which
is Akiba's specialty. This weapon also has special attachments
added that can add custom parts to the rifle for a variety of
attachments that can be put on. Among these attachments he has a
scope with nightvision and thermal vision options, a laser
sight, and has made it so he can attack suppressors to dull the
sound of his rifle when neccessary. Most of these attachments
are to better target his enemies, though he does have a few that
can be added for other purposes (see gun attachments for more
information). One such example is the custom grenade launcher
attachment he can attach to the rifle, which can fire off single
grenade rounds at opponents. The weapon barrel and the grenade
launcher attachments are also enchanted using Men of Letters
spells, allowing this weapon to enchant the bullets and/or
grenades as they are fired from the gun. Once enchanted, the
bullets use Men of Letters sigils to negate supernatural
regeneration, in a manner similar to varanium. Thanks to this,
Akiba doesn't have to use special ammo, unless he wants to do
extra damage (which he will usually do). The only real problem
with this weapon is that it has immense recoil when fired, and
Akiba has to be careful about handling the recoil or else this
weapon could literally break his shoulder and/or his arm with
the recoil. This is also more of a long range weapon, so Akiba
often will not use this at close range, due to it's limitations
(though he can use it from medium range in fights if he uses his
CQC fighting style properly to distance himself from the
opponent and has enough distance to point it due to the gun's
length).
- Custom XM8 Compact Carbine: This weapon is another customized
weapon that Akiba uses, an assault rifle which Akiba has
customized over his supernatural hunting career. This weapon is
a selective fire (meaning the weapon can be adjusted to fire in
semi-automatic mode, burst fire mode, or full automatic mode)
5.56mm ammo assault rifle that was used by Foxhound in his world
(and some other military groups). Unlike his M82A2 rifle, this
weapon is a smaller, more compact weapon which is very easy to
use and carry around. This weapon fires at around 750 rounds per
minute, and clips typically are designed to either be a 30 round
box magazine or a 100 round drum magazine. This weapon also has
a small scope on it, which has thermal vision and nightvision
options. In addition, Akiba can add things like laser sighting,
a knife attachment to the barrel, and add a Picatinny rail
attachment for mounting the weapon. This assault rifle is
designed for mid-range combat usually, in which Akiba will
typically use this in combat with opponents alongside his
side-arm and/or stun knife depending on what the situation
requires. This weapon is Akiba's second main used weapon, where
he will usually carry this around with him, and will usually be
his secondary weapon in battle aside from his rifle. This weapon
has a similar Men of Letters enchantment on the barrel, in which
it works on the bullets as they are fired from the gun. This
grants it the same enchantment his rifle has where the bullets
are able to negate regeneration if they hit opponents. Like his
rifle, Akiba can load special designed ammo based on what he has
available (see ammo types for more information), as he has
different options available thanks to the ammos those like
Hellsing and the Crow Mercenaries are able to equip him with.
This assault rifle is also great for Akiba's CQC fighting style,
as he is able to fight far more easily when holding this gun
than his rifle, due to this gun being smaller and allowing him
to move faster in combat. The only down side to this is that
this gun, while faster and able to fire more rapidly, doesn't
use quite as strong ammo as his M82A2 rifle, so his ammo doesn't
do quite as much damage and the weapon doesn't do as much damage
if hit with it.
- Custom GSR Model SIG Sauer 1911 Pistol: This is yet another of
Akiba's weapons he's customized, with this weapon being his
sidearm that he usually holsters at his side. This weapon was
favored by military groups like Foxhound in Akiba's world, and
Akiba himself continues to use this pistol after modifying it
like his other weapons. This weapon holds an 8 round magazine
and fires .45 ACP rounds, which is designed for close to
mid-range combat. This gun also has been equipped to hold
special addons (For more information see gun add-ons), with the
most common one Akiba uses being one that adds a tactical light
to the gun. Akiba has also developed some larger magazines for
the weapon, which can hold up to 20 bullets. This is gun is very
light, and designed to be easy to carry with not too much
recoil. The bullets can come in different varieties (See ammo
types for more information. This gun also is fitted with the
GI-length guide rod and standard recoil spring plunger, instead
of a full-length guide rod. This feature allows less chance for
dirt to get into the weapon, while the full-length guide rod is
meant to prevent the recoil spring from folding or crimping.
Like his previous guns, Akiba's pistol also has the Men of
Letters enchantment on the barrel, allowing it to enchant ammo
as the ammo is fired so that the bullets (if they hit a target)
negate regeneration of their targets in a manner similar to
varanium ammo. This gun also has another enchantment on it, in
which the gun fires rounds far faster than normal pistols would
(the bullet travels faster, not the gun firing rounds faster) as
well as the bullets having more kinetic energy to do more damage
on impact. Thanks to this, the speed enhancement used on the gun
speeds the bullets up considerably, as this gun is meant to also
be able to shoot super speed users who usually move fast enough
to dodge bullets. Thanks to this, the bullets are comparable to
how vampires use the projectile discipline to enhance the speed
of their projectiles in combat. The bullets also hit far harder
thanks to the kinetic energy enhancement, in which the impact
damage done to enemies is greatly increased. Thanks to this, not
only is this gun firing faster bullets, but also stronger impact
bullets thanks to the enchantments on the gun. This gun is light
and can fire quickly, and is also very good for Akiba's CQC
fighting style since it is light-weight compared to weapons like
his rifle. However, just like with his assault rifle, this
weapon being lighter means it doesn't do as much damage, and the
bullets fired are usually not as strong as those fired from his
more powerful guns.
- M9 Tranquilizer Gun: This gun is a modified Beretta 92, which
has been specifically designed to fire silent shots using
tranquilizer darts. This gun has a snap on suppressor, which is
designed for silencing the shots fired (Which is far easier than
that of a normal pistol since it fires only tranquilizer darts).
This gun is designed for infiltration and for non-lethal shots,
in which Akiba uses this when he's trying to knock someone out
rather than kill them (such as if an ally were to go out of
control, he could pull this out and shoot them with it in order
to knock them out, or if he needs an enemy captured alive he
will use this to knock them out and take them prisoner). This
weapon is another sidearm that Akiba will usually carry with
him, and is a very useful weapon. The tranquilizers used are
small tranquilizer darts that are specifically designed to be
used on both humans and supernaturals. When used on humans, the
stronger tranquilizers keep them unconscious longer, but when
used on supernaturals, this is designed to knock out
supernaturals despite their supernatural metabolisms that would
normally make this type of tranquilizer not as effective. In
addition to the normal tranquilizers, Akiba even has some extra
strength tranquilizers for those with resistance to
tranquilizers, developed by those like Dufort and Dr. Oliver.
These tranquilizers all carry slightly different formulas (which
is easier to make than one might think as Dufort and Dr. Oliver
have methods to change the formula for each tranquilizer pretty
easily), in which those with high adaptability and high immunity
development to toxins will find these tranquilizers different
enough that each one requires a unique response to develop
immunity to, making these tranquilizers able to be used against
most supernaturals. The only exceptions of supernaturals that
cannot be tranquilized with these are those like zombies with no
blood flow (as the poison doesn't flow through the blood to have
any effect). This weapon can also be used in Akiba's CQC
fighting, in which it would work similar to using his GSR
pistol. This weapon also has a slightly slower rate of fire, so
Akiba has to be careful when using it since it cannot be fired
as quickly as a normal pistol due to it's change in design.
- Military Tactical Stun Knife: This is a small knife which
Akiba uses in close combat. This was originally a model of knife
used by his mentor, that Akiba eventually also started using.
When used, this seems like an ordinary knife, but when stabbing
an opponent, this knife releases a taser-like stream of
electricity from the back of the blade to release on whatever
the blade is in contact with. This makes this weapon a sort of
mix of a knife and a taser, in which it is designed to
incapacitate opponents, as well as do more damage. The
electricity also scrambles the magnetic frequency of the metal,
which makes it harder to take control of by magnetic users. This
weapon is designed specifically for CQC combat, where this is a
combat based knife designed to take down opponents who might
require more effort to take down than just a few quick stabs.
When used, the electricity is designed to stun opponents,
usually knocking them out (as long as they're not immune to
electricity). In order to be affected, a user only needs to be
in contact with the blade of the knife (not necessarily stabbed
through with it). This is typically a non-lethal combat weapon
(unless the knife stab is fatal), and is usually designed purely
for close range combat. This weapon also has the same
enchantment to negate regeneration used by the Men of Letters
that Akiba has on his guns, in which this knife can regeneration
negation using the same enchantment (except that this case it is
the knife itself that causes the negation rather than applying
it to something like a bullet). Usually, Akiba will use this
alongside his pistol, or on its own, in which he will usually
combine this with his pistol when using his CQC style. As one
might imagine, this only works at close range (within stabbing
distance), as this requires physical contact to hurt an
opponent. If one stays out of physical contact, then this won't
really affect them. It is also possible that using electrical
shocks might not work on some opponents, specifically those that
are empowered by lightning or those that are immune to
taser-like electrical charges (which some creatures might be
resistant to). This knife is also not always strong enough to
pierce some creatures, not unless Akiba is strong enough to
pierce them with this knife (as some have stronger skin than
this knife can cut).
- Gun Attachments: Akiba has a number of extra attachments that
he can add to his guns, and some that he keeps attached. The
first one is the magnetic frequency scramblers, which are
usually installed into each of the guns. These magnetic
frequency scramblers send small electrical charges through the
gun by using the metal as a conductor in order to change it's
magnetic signature constantly, in order to prevent magnetic
users from locking on to the weapons. Thanks to this attachment,
Akiba usually doesn't have to worry about magnetic manipulators
who try to stop his bullets or try to control his weapons as
long as this device is functioning and able to operate. The
second thing that Akiba has are suppressors or silencers, in
which he can add suppressors to most of his guns in order to
dull the sound of the weapon. It is actually a misconception
that silencers completely negate the sound made when a gun is
fired, but instead, the suppressors actually decrease how much
sound escapes when a bullet is fired, and will reduce the muzzle
flash when a shot is fired. These silencers come in different
variations for different guns (as he has specific ones for his
pistol, assault rifle and rifle), and typically have to be
replaced after enough use. These silencers are usually screwed
on to the gun tips, and can help Akiba when he wants to dull the
sound on his guns (Usually most helpful when firing his sniper
rifle). The next attachment is the flashlight attachment, where
Akiba can attach a tactical light to his weapons in order to
allow him to use it in dark situations. However, Akiba also has
a high beam function on these lights, where he can switch it to
a brighter light and attempt to overwhelm the person in front of
him if it's an enemy (Which works pretty well against people
with enhanced visions). He also has things like a grenade
launcher attachment that fires single round shots for his sniper
rifle, laser sightings he can put on his guns, and replacement
scopes for his sniper rifle and assault rifle. These attachments
are modified for different purposes, depending on what Akiba
needs them for and usually must be equipped before hand. While
the magnetic frequency scramblers are usually attached, most of
the other attachments have to be attached on a case by case
basis (Though as mentioned he has a few like the magnetic
frequency scramblers and certain sight advantages attached all
the time)
- Ammo Types: Just as Akiba has a lot of guns and gun
attachments, he also has a lot of ammo types. The first thing to
go over is the type of ammo. The first is his M82A2, which uses
.5 inch or 12.7 mm ammo. Next is his XM8, which uses 5.56mm
ammo. Next is his Sig 1911 which uses 0.45 ACP rounds. Each ammo
can come in a few different variations depending on what Akiba
wants to use. The first is incidiary ammo, ammo designed to
catch fire and set things on fire when the bullet hits a target.
The next is explosive ammo, in which the rounds explode on
impact, usually to do more damage to opponents. The last is
armor piercing (Akiba's most common used ammo usually) in which
the bullets are specifically designed to pierce through thick
armors (such as using this with his sniper rifle to shoot
through a tank's armor). However, in addition to ammo types,
there are custom ammo modifications that can be made as well.
The first is holy silver tips, designed mostly for werewolves
and some vampires, which is usually the first type of ammo that
Akiba will default to. This can be used with any ammo option,
such as using incendiary to burn opponents and melt the silver
to the opponent, or explosive ammo designed to explode and leave
trace amounts of silver in an opponent, or armor piercing
designed to strengthen the bullet with silver so it burns
through certain enemies more easily. The next he has are
varanium and stilled silver rounds, which are usually made by
those like Zelpharia who can travel to the future and get this
ammo that can use these just like the holy silver ammo. Akiba
also has liquid mercury tip bullet options, which allow him to
shoot bullets with liquid mercury in the tip designed to be
released into the blood of the opponent if they are shot with
one of these bullets (which liquid mercury tends to work better
for dealing with some supernaturals than silver). The last he
has is spyrite ammo, the latest invention of Kindron Darkfire
who modified spyrix into spirit purification metal that can be
used to take out dark spirits and empower normal good spirits.
Overall, Akiba has a lot of different ammo options, and can have
many different versions of his ammo made as he can have them
combine different ammo options with different ammo modifications
(Examples include incendiary silver ammo or explosive varanium
ammo). However, Akiba usually has to have these on hand in order
to use them, and he usually only carries holy silver armor
piercing or holy silver incendiary for special opponents. Any
special ammo usually has to be crafted by Hellsing and then he
has to carry it with him into battle.
Outfit and Equipment:
- Foxhound Outfit: This is a special outfit designed by the unit
Foxhound, a special unit of the government that specializes in
stealth and infiltration missions, and is an outfit that Akiba
has kept and modified over the years. This outfit is made out of
special material, which is designed not only to reduce the sound
Akiba makes when moving to help him in infiltration missions,
but also is made of a bullet proof material, as well as being
incredibly hard for supernaturals to bite or spear through as a
means of defense. Since Foxhound was a supernatural hunter group
that protected the people from supernaturals, Akiba's outfit is
specifically designed for hunting supernaturals and powerful
opponents, so one can guess how strong this outfit is. This
outfit is made of special carbon fibers that move easily, but
harden in response to trauma (such as an attack) with the carbon
fibers reacting to attacks by hardening into almost being as
hard as diamond. Akiba's outfit was designed to protect him from
supernaturals that try to bite him (Mostly vampires and
werewolves) and when supernaturals try to bite this fabric, this
fabric is strong enough to even break their teeth on. When not
under attack, this is very durable and far more flexible
material than one might think, allowing Akiba to move with more
agility than most people think in a fight. This outfit is also
bullet proof for up to sniper rifle rounds (as long as the ammo
isn't armor piercing), and this outfit is even fire and
electricity resistant to allow him resistance to fire and
electricity type attacks or opponents. And after Akiba came to
London, Kindron even enhanced this suit further using a special
substance which makes covers up Akiba's scent, making him almost
unable to be smelled by even werewolves' or werepyres' sense of
smell thanks to the substance Kindron made to disguise scent.
The only danger is with constant attacks on most of the body, as
when this material hardens, it stops being a mobile and flexible
material and is almost as hard as diamond. This usually only
happens to the part that is attacked, but enough of the material
going into solid form could make Akiba unable to move until the
material returns to normal. This material also doesn't fully
protect the body against armor piercing rounds or attacks that
can pierce through armor, and if an opponent can pierce diamond
or cut through it, then they could probably pierce this
material. Almost all of Akiba's outfit is made of this material.
- Military Jacket: This is a large jacket, similar to the one
that some like the Kindron and Hei in his universe would wear.
This is an extra add-on he had made when he joined Hellsing and
saw the advantages of Kindron's and Hei's jackets. When he had
this made, he had it made of the same material that his normal
outfit is made of (the carbon thread) which could allow it to
resist attacks. This jacket also is made of a bullet-proof
material, making it bulletproof as long as the ammo isn't armor
piercing rounds. Like his normal outfit, this is a flexible and
durable material that is more flexible than most people think,
and more durable since it uses the carbon threads. However,
inside the jacket holds special pockets, in which Akiba can old
extra ammo, supernatural hunter weapons, and other items
depending on what he wants to carry with him. This jacket also
has special nylon polymer weaved in the jacket as well, in which
this jacket not only has a little extra defense due to it being
a stronger polymer. The main purpose of this nylon polymer
though is to allow fire resistance to his jacket, which will
protect him from things like fires and (to some extent)
explosions. This jacket can handle many normal fire
temperatures, in which normal fire will not reach Akiba through
this jacket (Though some hotter flames like hellfire and dark
flames of the Darkfires probably can burn through this
substance). This also protects Akiba to an extent from
electricity, in which his jacket is insulated to protect him
from electricity for things like if an enemy uses electricity on
him. While higher doses of electricity can still eventually
overload this material (as anything insulated can become a
conductor if enough electricity is passed through it except for
pure water which is a perfect insulator), this does grant
resistance to normal electricity. If one wants to pierce through
this jacket, strong enough attacks can pierce through this, or
certain energy style attacks can also be used to pierce the
jacket. Some examples could include concentrated lightning
attacks, light beams or laser-like projectiles, and some
stronger energy piercing attacks designed to pierce armor. This
is typically on par with a lot of stronger armors, but strong
enough attacks can still pierce it. This also doesn't grant
complete protection to all of Akiba's body, in which he can
still be attacked in the legs or head where this jacket doesn't
protect him (Or one can attack his chest when his jacket isn't
zipped up).
- Face Mask: This mask is part of Akiba's Foxhound outfit, in
which Akiba uses this as another part of his Foxhound outfit.
Akiba doesn't always wear this mask, but he does usually have it
available in case he needs it. This mask is made of the same
carbon fiber threads that his outfit is made of, in which the
carbon thread works the same way. As mentioned, the thread
hardens in response to physical trauma, in which attacks will
harden the material to the point that Akiba can defend against
attacks. Typically, Akiba wears this mask to protect his throat
and head from attacks, as this can protect his throat from
vampire and werewolf bites, as the material hardening has, in
the past, broken the teeth of both vampires and werewolves.
Also, due to the design, this mask also has a facial mask built
into the mask, designed with an oxygen filter so that Akiba can
breathe more easily. This filter allows it to filter out
dangerous toxins and things in the air, allowing Akiba to
breathe even in certain dangerous environments that might have
toxic substances in the air. While the material is as flexible
and durable as the rest of his Foxhound outfit, the flexibility
is not as important with his mask, since it hardening doesn't
really affect his facial movement too much, so there is less
chance of the mask's carbon fibers hardening and suffering a
loss of mobility when the mask's fibers harden. The only real
danger is if Akiba cannot move his neck to the side or up and
down, which could be hindered if enough of the material is
hardened. The oxygen filter also doesn't work in every
situation, as there are some times where the oxygen filter
cannot help him. One such example is if he is underwater, as the
mask is still made of fabric. The part of the mask that has the
filter has a more solid portion where the filter is, which means
the filter is breakable if attacks can pierce the fabric of the
armor. Overall, just like the rest of his outfit, this mask can
be pierced or broken with enough strength, or if one is using
certain piercing attacks. This mask also typically has to be
worn in order for it to be effective, and is usually combined
with his sunglasses that go over his eyes (more on the
sunglasses later).
- Stun Gloves: These are special two-layer gloves which were
made by the Zelpharia in his universe as alternate gloves he
could use against supernaturals. The outer layer of the gloves
has special nano-fiber, which releases a special energy based on
Celestian stun weapons. When used, this nano-fiber can release
special energy which stuns opponents in a manner similar to his
stun knife. The only difference is that these glvoes actually
don't use electricity, but rather energy generated by the gloves
that stuns opponents and knocks them out when it affects them
(similar to weapons like a Wraith stun weapon). Thanks to this,
Akiba is able to grab opponents and stun them when in physical
contact with them, which is very useful when he's using his CQC
fighting style. This weapon also has some magnetic properties,
in which the gloves project a randomizing magnetic signature
that allows Akiba to make sure the gloves are not able to be
manipulated by a magnetic user. When used, the magnetic
properties can be applied to anything that Akiba touches with
this, where his physical contact can change an objects magnetic
signature by allowing the magnetic signature randomization of
his gloves affect the object and transfer a randomizing magnetic
effect that can keep a magnetic signature randomized. This lasts
for up to two rounds after Akiba releases physical contact, and
can even be used to interrupt magnetic user's control of
objects. The inner layer of the gloves is also made of a special
material, though. The inner layer of the gloves is designed to
protect Akiba from the effects of the stunning effect, as Akiba
would also be affected without the inner layer of the gloves
which reflect the energy generated by outer layer. Without this
inner layer, Akiba cannot use the stun effect of these gloves
due to the fact that the stun effect would affect him as well
since the stun effect would be used on him if his hands are in
contact. Usually, the stun effect is best used when grabbing the
head or the body, and grabbing the arm may or may not work for
the stun effect depending on the opponent's resistance. While
this does bypass lightning resistance since this is an energy
based stun rather than electricity, there are some who are
resistant to this, especially if they have been stunned a lot by
energy weapons or have special stun resistances. Of course, as
one might expect, these gloves can be pierced with enough
strength, just like the rest of his outfit, and if they are
pierced deep enough to cut the inner layer, Akiba won't be able
to use the stun effect without affecting himself.
- Octo Camo: This is Akiba's greatest asset while on missions,
or when he is trying to sneak around, in which this is something
he got during his time at Foxhound to help him on his missions.
The octo-camo is a special stealth unit hidden in his outfit,
which interacts with his entire outfit to project a stealth
system that makes him blend into whatever object he's nearby by
bending light around him and making him appear invisible. For
example, he can appear as concrete when laying on concrete, and
the octo-camo seems to change the color of his clothes and items
to hide him. This also has the effect of making him invisible to
certain types of vision as well, where infrared, thermal vision
and x-ray vision cannot see through the effect of this device's
camoflauge. As one might imagine, this makes sneaking around far
easier, as Akiba is able to use this to blend into environments.
This is how he gained the "Chameleon" part of his Foxhound name.
This device works best when Akiba is sitting still, usually
against a surface whether it's against a wall or object, or
laying on the ground. This effect also applies to his guns when
he is holding them (as long as his suit is in physical contact),
making his guns invisible. This has not only hidden him from
machines, but he has also used this to hide from supernaturals
and even cyborgs. This is usually used best on sniping missions,
where Akiba will stay in one spot for a long period of time.
However, this doesn't protect Akiba from enhanced senses of
smell, where Akiba can still be smelled by supernaturals, though
this problem is covered by the substance Kindron put into the
suit in order to disguise Akiba's sense of smell. When using
guns, guns will reveal Akiba's position, as the muzzle flash of
a gun as well as the sound will disrupt this device's stealth
abilities. This also doesn't work as well when Akiba is in
motion, as the device cannot keep up having to rapidly change
surfaces to adapt to, which means that Akiba is only truly
invisible to the eye when he's not moving, or moving extremely
slowly. This also doesn't suppress sound, so supernaturals can
usually still hear him (as long as they can still hear him
normally despite his suit being designed to suppress sound of
movement). Also, if an opponent is smart, they can knock out
this device with an EMP, or some kind of electrical charge.
- Special Sunglasses Visor Model: These sunglasses were another
part of his outfit modified and designed by Zelpharia in his
universe. These glasses may seem like normal sunglasses to
everyone else, but thanks to Akiba's nanomachines, and the
connection to the nanomachines that Zelpharia put in, these
sunglasses are special tech sunglasses that connect to the
information network of Akiba's nanomachines. These glasses are a
special type of visor device, where Akiba can switch visions,
pull up holographic screens, and even see the frequences of the
nanomachine codec communication that he uses. These sunglasses
were based on the neural linkers in the future, except that this
has an external connection to Akiba's nanomachines. The first
thing are the vision options that Akiba has. The first is
infrared and thermal (which images areas based on heat
signatures), the next is x-ray (which uses x-rays to see through
objects), and the last is nightvision and darkvision modes
(using Celestian tech to grant better vision in the night, as
they developed tech that can see in pure blackness). He can also
magnefy his vision using a sort of binocular style enhancement
that can zoom in on objects. The next thing are the holographic
screens that Akiba can bring up. The holographic screens that
come up are only visible to Akiba, unless he chooses to make
them visible to others. These screens can pull up information
using data networks, or he can utilize his nanomachines to show
things like his vitals and other information his nanomachines
might be able to show. Thanks to this, Akiba can also use things
like targetting computers that can help him line up his shots
more effectively (though he doesn't tend to rely on this since
he doesn't like having computer help), or can be used to warn
Akiba of dangerous conditions (Such as toxins in the air, or
other things that the glasses tech might be able to detect).
However, while they are strong (since they are essentially
Celestian tech stronger than human tech), these glasses can be
broken, and once broken, they don't work until they are
repaired. These sunglasses systems can also be taken out by an
EMP or certain other electromagnetic energies, since the
technology is more modified to a human level to work with
Akiba's nanomachines (since his nanomachines are human tech, and
the Celestian tech has to be adjusted to work at human tech
levels when made to enhance human tech).
- Handheld Unit: This is a special device on his wrist which
lets him hack other computer systems, that has also been
enhanced by Zelpharia. Originally, this wearable unit was
designed for military missions by Foxhound, in which there were
two major functions. The first was that the device was designed
to keep track of allies, and feed information to a user's
nanomachines. This device can also feed information on enemies
using motion trackers and information from allies nearby. When
on missions, this device is great for coordinating his allies
and planning his attacks on enemies, as Akiba is able to usually
see everyone's positions using his sunglasses visor device
(which is more or less what this was designed for, though it was
only really perfected thanks to Zelpharia's upgrades). However,
this device is also useful for hacking and connecting to other
computers, in which Akiba can use this to essentially allow
himself to hack into other systems. By using his handheld as a
bridge between his nanomachines, his visor, and another machine
through the plug in cable that is able to change its shape
depending on the outlet that Akiba is plugging it into (Such as
using a USB drive for most human computers or using alien tech
it can become a device that can plug into alien computers),
Akiba is able to hack into most devices via a direct connection
to the system (assuming the device can be hacked into, as some
devices may be too tough to hack into). This can be used to do
things like interfere with computer systems for different
functions (taking data, gathering information, or even things
like opening and closing electronic doors, turning off alarms or
disabling certain functions), or can even be used to disable
whatever it's hooked up to. This can even be used to reprogram
cyborgs and robots, depending on if Akiba can override their
initial programming. However, this may not show certain people
who cannot be picked up by motion sensor tech, and this tech may
not account for people standing still, as if they are not in
motion, the motion sensor tech won't pick them up. And certain
tech might not be able to be overriden. For example, while
Wraith tech was able to overriden thanks to Wykoth's help during
missions with the Crow Mercenaries, certain tech with AIs
controlling it, or other alien tech that Akiba doesn't know how
to hack could prove to be too much for him. While Akiba can hack
a lot of tech, his knowledge in hacking is not his primary
focus, so he only has basic knowledge. Also, this device can be
taken out with strong enough magnetic energies, such as a strong
enough EMP or other strong enough magnetic disturbance (But due
to the system's enhanced protection from electromagnetic
interference, it would take far more).
- Additional Supernatural Hunting and Military Equipment (Case
by Case): As a supernatural hunter and ex-military, Akiba is
usually prepared for a variety of enemies, which means that
Akiba has a number of other items and weapons he can take with
him on a case by base basis. Among supernatural hunter weapons,
he has some special weapons designed by Hellsing (But his
universe and the London universe versions), such as boomerang
crosses designed by Kindron Darkfire, throwing axes for aerial
enemies, holy water vials (some of which are explosive), holy
oil vials (which he has to light on fire), and holy silver
throwing knives designed for werewolves and vampires. He also
has his own unique supernatural hunter weapon, the blessed bible
pages, which he takes a bible's pages and essentially uses them
like talismans or holy symbols against opponents (more later).
In addition, he also has extra guns (including some backup guns
like other assault rifles and sniper rifles), as well as
military grade equipment like standard grenades, stun grenades,
flash grenades, and even C4 and other explosives he can use in
missions. In his jacket, he also usually carries both a heaven's
gate and hell's gate piece enhanced knives, which are
specifically designed for CQC combat. The Heaven's gate piece
knife negates the power of demonic type dragons, demons and some
dark magic abilities used by demons, while the Hell's Gate piece
negates most normal and holy magic, angelic power and holy
dragon power. Both knives can be useful against the right
opponents, and when used together, he can even use contact
between the two knives to create small bursts of energy which
can be used to do concussive damage to enemies since Heaven's
Gate pieces and Hell's Gate pieces have a violent tendency to
create blasts of energy when paired together due to their two
incompatible natures. Usually, what Akiba carries with him
depends on the mission, and what he needs. When given choices,
he will usually keep his Hell's Gate and Heaven's Gate knives in
his jacket, as well as a small collection of silver throwing
knives and a few boomerang crosses. He also usually carries
bible pages that he uses as well. This also doesn't cover his
ammo types (which are covered in his weapons section), as well
as any extra weapons Hellsing might equip him with that he
doesn't quite have access to, like tech cancelers (that are
usually given to him by people like Zelphaira and Dufort), or
other things like Kindron giving him a spyrite knife against
dark spirits.
- Unique Supernatural Hunter Item: The Blessed Bible Page:
Because Akiba is a supernatural hunter, an ordained minister,
and a member of the Men of Letters in his world, he has
experimented with a number of supernatural hunting weapons, and
invented a few in his time, such as the enchantment that he put
on his guns, or the fact that he blesses his own weapons.
However, his most unique item was the blessed bible pages, a
special item he got by taking pages out of the bible and putting
special enchantments and blessings on them. Using these
blessings and enchantments, Akiba was able to create an item
that essentially acts like a talisman of Japanese Shinto
mythology would (like the talismans those like Father Hei use).
These pages can be used a variety of ways, in which Akiba can
use them in combat or use them for other purposes. These are
made by taking pages out of the bibles (which works using King
James bibles, New International versions, or New King James
versions as not all bibles use the same translations),
specifically tearing out the pages of these bibles for use as
blessed bible pages. When used, these can be used in battle
depending on how they're used, such as Akiba can stick them to
opponents to do holy damage to them, or he can throw them, to
which the enchantments can send these flying at opponents with
enough force to cut off limbs using the paper of the pages like
blades (with the enchantments enhancing the pages). This can
also be used on objects, such as using this in the four corners
of the room to sanctify the room, or be used to protect the room
from being able to be forced into by demonic or dark creatures.
This can even be used to strengthen holy allies of placed on a
holy ally (such as an angel could gain empowerment from this if
it is used on them), and can heal those that it empowers. Thanks
to this, this item is quite useful against demonic and dark
creatures. However, this isn't useful against holy opponents,
and this can still be overpowered by stronger demonic powers, or
those that can negate holy power like those with Hell's Gate
pieces as this power requires Enochian enchantment. It is also
possible that some enemies might be able to counter this with
other abilities, such as using energy defense to block out the
holy energy of the pages.
Combat Abilities:
- CQC Foxhound Military Combat Style: This is the primary style
of the Foxhound group, taught by the leader of Foxhound, Big
Boss. This was his own variation on military fighting styles,
which combines gun use with physical combat. In this combat
style, those who use it learn to use their arms to block and
counter attacks while making use of foot work to side-step or
move more easily to avoid attacks, or to use certain kinds of
guns (like assault rifles) to counter attacks. This style is
most used by those trained like Big Boss in the universe he is
from (the one which those like Akiba and Slade Wilson are from).
This style is more based on military fighting styles, and is a
style designed most for gun users. However those that have
learned it often find that the style is quite adaptable and can
be modified to fit one's own style, as each weapon often
requires different movements to allow it to be used optimally in
this style. For example, a pistol would be easy to move around
and shoot someone at close range, so it can be used in a more
speed based style while something like a rifle could be used to
stun an enemy, and then the user could fire it to take down an
enemy. This style also trains it's users in how to handle
multiple opponents, where users are trained to stay versatile
and agile in combat so they can easily turn and counter other
opponents. This style also teaches how to attack vitals and
pressure points, making even weak attacks quite effective on
enemies when executed properly (as this style was designed to
take down supernatural creatures). Some can even use this style
with swords or even weapons like a staff or axe, though at that
point, this style becomes just like any other weapon style. The
only real downside to this style is that each weapon must be
adapted to and the style modified to fit the weapon they're
using taking into account things like the size of the weapon,
strength of the recoil of the weapon, and even whether the
weapons can be wielded in one or two hands. The only Foxhound
members to be trained in this style were Flynn Hunter, and
Akiba's mentor, Solid Snake (who would go on to teach his own
variation of the style to Akiba), which means that users of this
style are pretty rare in the London universe. Akiba's version of
this is usually more non-lethal than Big Boss who often used
elements of Krav Maga and other violent styles to kill
opponents, as his mentor Solid Snake was more about teaching him
to incapacitate rather than kill. As such, Akiba is good at
disabling opponents by going for pressure points and vitals, in
which even his weaker attacks can have increased effect. He can
also fight using any of his weapons, though he has to fight
differently based on the weapon he's holding.
- Variable Acceleration Combat Substyle: This was a sub style of
combat developed by Slade Wilson, a former member of Foxhound in
the universe those like Akiba and Flynn are from. This
particular substyle is based in elements of Escrima, a fighting
style using bamboo sticks for combat. However, Slade had
developed this sub style as a means to fight tough enemies. In
this sub style, a user can use this with almost any style, in
which Slade tried to make this able to be used as a substyle
that can be applied to most combat styles. In this style, a user
fights for a while using normal pacing of their own fighting
styles, but after the opponent has adapted to that style, the
user varies the pace of their acceleration. In doing this, this
completely throws off the opponent's timing for their defense
and attack, where the user can use this to essentially bypass
those with immense combat adaptability by constantly changing
their pace in combat once the opponent adapts to their style.
This style is also effective against those that predict attack
styles, as this can be used to throw off opponents who expect
moves of styles to be performed at certain speeds and
accelerations. When used, even those that use the same style can
move at different paces that aren't predictable by the opponent,
due to the fact that this uses constantly varying paces of
combat. In terms of moves, this style can be applied to most
fighting styles to some degree, not just in physical fighting
styles, but also in weapon styles. When used effectively, this
can even throw off supernaturals and those with psychic
abilities, as users with this sub style train to do this
subconsciously and once they go into this substyle, they can let
their subconscious handle the varying paces. Not many people
know this technique unless they are trained by Slade Wilson,
Akiba Hellsing, or someone trained by them, as this style is
only really used by a select group. But like most styles, this
does have it's weaknesses. For example, this style can be a bit
of a hindrance to certain combat techniques, as some techniques
require certain speeds and movement methods to make it effective
(and this style would interrupt that). This is also only a
substyle of combat, and not designed to be used on its own,
since it's designed to apply to the combat style the person
uses. The last major thing to note is that some users can adapt
to the varying paces if they know what the user is doing,
usually being able to know that the pace is going to change and
getting ready for it. In terms of Akiba, he can use this with
his CQC fighting style, where he combines the two pretty easily
since CQC doesn't have a lot of really fancy moves since it's
more just simple fighting with weapons in the hand.
- Weapon and Marksmen Expert: During his time in Foxhound, in
Hellsing and in the Men of Letters, Akiba has become a master of
weapons, in which he has trained in a number of weapons from
guns to swords, to even knowing how to use a staff (Though not
usually his preferred weapon). When it comes to guns, Akiba can
use just about any kind of weapon, even knowing how to use
Wraith weapons thanks to years fighting the Order's occupation
of his world. Akiba is able to adapt quite easily to most kinds
of weapons, where he is able to utilize almost any weapon.
Akiba's adaptability in fighting thanks to his training allows
him to easily adapt to using most weapons even if he's not
experienced with them (Though he can at least use them).
However, Akiba's most used weapons are his guns and his stun
knife. Thanks to his CQC training, not only is Akiba trained in
weapons, but can use most weapons in his CQC fighting style. And
while using guns, Akiba is an expert marksmen, able to fire with
extreme accuracy. Thanks to this, Akiba almost always fires his
shots with his guns where he is aiming (Not meaning he will
always hit opponents, but more just his bullets are shot at the
spot they are aimed at). Akiba is an expert marksmen, in which
things like his sniper training and his military training have
enhanced his ability to do things like account for wind pressure
and other factors that might affect aiming a gun. Akiba is an
expert marksmen, who can usually account for most enemies
movement in battle when aiming at his enemies. As such, Akiba is
an expert weapon user, and his marksmanship is not to be
underestimated in battle. And unlike someone like Flynn, Akiba
doesn't have certain combat talents that let him do things like
ricochet bullets or instinctively aim his gun, so he often
relies on his own experience. Thanks to his teacher, Akiba
doesn't even rely on his nanomachines or his sunglasses
targetting computers, instead preferring to line up his shots on
his own rather than use the systems to aim for him as he sees it
as a crutch used by those that don't have enough skill to shoot
on their own. As such, Akiba is a great marksmen on his own,
without the need for other items in battle (though he will
sometimes use things like nightvision or dark vision in darkness
so he can see his enemies).
- Supernatural Hunting Weapons Expert: During Akiba's
specialized training in Foxhound, Hellsing, and the Men of
Letters, which taught him how to hunt supernaturals, Akiba has
learned how to utilize a number of supernatural hunter weapons
that can be used to fight enemies. Among them include his
heaven's and hell's gates knives, or Akiba has also used some
other weapons like silver bullets to kill werewolves, and holy
weapons to kill vampires. Before Foxhound developed the
carbonadium compound to negate supernaturals, Foxhound relied on
special preparation and supernatural hunter weapons in order to
combat supernatural threats (and Akiba ran of carbonadium
bullets years ago). For example, before going into a werewolf
infested forest, Foxhound would load their assault rifles with
silver ammo, or they would use special holy weapons if they were
fighting demons or other demonic type creatures. There are a
number of supernatural hunter weapons that Akiba knows how to
use, and knows how to utilize them thanks to his time spent
fighting supernaturals. Though thanks to his guns, he rarely
needs special ammo aside from something that can do extra damage
to certain types of opponents, or just for extra assurance.
However, thanks to him having worked with Hellsing and the Men
of Letters for years, Akiba has developed a great knowledge and
experience using many types of supernatural hunter weapons. When
it came to those in his universe like Kindron (The vampire
father of Dufort), they were always making new weapons from
throwing knives, sharpened boomerang crosses, and even special
ammo developed by those at Hellsing (Kindron and Zelpharia in
Flynn and Akiba's universe had quite a few unique supernatural
hunting weapons they developed in their time at Hellsing). Of
course, these are mostly used on a case by case basis, as Akiba
usually defaults to his guns and his stun knife, and only really
equips himself with extra weapons depending on the mission and
supernaturals he's planning to fight.
- Men of Letters Enchantment, Spells and Sigil Knowledge: Thanks
to the time Akiba spent in the Men of Letters specifically, he
has developed a great knowledge of the methods and spells used
by the Men of Letters. After having studied for years with them
in his world, he has learned a number of enchantments and other
useful options. For example, there is a sigil enchantment that
can force an angel out of a body if they are possessing it, or
there are certain spells to restrain certain kinds of creatures.
The knowledge of the Men of Letters is quite vast, and there are
a lot of options Akiba has. While Akiba is not the foremost
expert, nor is he the type of person that has memorized
everything the Men of Letters had, he does know a lot of the Men
of Letters spells and enchantments. For example, it was his
knowledge of enchantments that he used to enchant his guns, and
it was this knowledge that led to the creation of his blessed
bible page weapon. There are a number of spells and ways to use
this, in which Akiba has a variety of options. He can enchant
weapons and items, such as using ancient enchantments to turn
weapons into demon killing weapons (as in they specifically kill
demons, negating their regeneration specifically), he can
enchant items to absorb magic as a defense, or he can even put
special enchantments on items to give them certain effects, such
as using a blessing enchantment to create a holy effect on a
weapon or item that can be used to kill certain creatures of
darkness. Because Akiba is also an ordained minister, blessing
weapons and enchantments are his specialty, though he also has
some knowledge of things like Men of Letters traps and sigils
they use specifically to trap certain creatures (such as one set
of sigils that could even trap a demon prince if empowered
enough). This is great for supernatural hunting, as these
enchantments are made to be used by humans, so even someone
without magic ability like Akiba can still use them. However,
these all usually have to be applied ahead of time, and those
like traps and exorcisms usually require special ingredients and
items in order to make the spell or sigil work in addition to
Akiba often having to know certain other languages to make it
work (like an angel sigil that might use Enochian).
- Technology, Cybernetics and Alien Weapons Expert: Due to his
years around Zelpharia in his world, his missions in Foxhound,
and the years he spent fighting the Wraith, Akiba is an expert
in tech, and even in cybernetics. After working with Dufort,
Akiba has become quite adept at technology, and understanding
cybernetics. Thanks to having to learn how to hack cybernetic
beings and learning alien technologies, Akiba is very skilled at
figuring out alien tech. He also has a knack for wielding alien
weapons, as he can adapt and adjust his combat to use certain
kinds of alien weapons he might find. For example, on some
missions, he used a Wraith stunner when he didn't have any other
weapon on him, and could use it just as effectively as a pistol
or tranquilizer gun. When it comes to technology, Akiba is not
on the same level as those like Zelpharia and Dufort, but he
knows his tech pretty well, and has even had chances to learn a
lot about certain alien technologies and weapons. The two
specifically he has been exposed to are Wraith and Celestian
tech and weapons. Everything Zelpharia and Dufort have shown him
over the years has led to him understanding a lot about
Celestian tech, and all the experience he has had hacking Wraith
tech and using Wraith weapons, has led to him having a knowledge
of Wraith tech. Akiba even once helped the Mercenaries capture a
Wraith hive ship, in which he and Dufort ran the hive ship into
another in order to send a message to the Order to not mess with
their cities as the ships were destroying cities. Akiba has had
a lot of opportunities to interact with alien tech to the point
that he can not only operate alien tech, but he is able to hack
it using his wearable portable device that lets him connect to
other systems. He has even reprogrammed cyborgs and cybernetic
enhancements with this, even rewriting certain programs in his
devices. Of course, while he is an expert in tech, he is nowhere
near as good with it as others, and may not be able to perfectly
hack or operate some tech, such as not being able to operate a
Celestian ship since he's never seen one or had to operate it
(But he could figure it out using his knowledge of Celestian
tech).
- Supernatural Hunter Training: Supernatural Strengths and
Weaknesses Expert: Since most supernatural hunters have to fight
other supernaturals and have to learn in order to survive their
fights, most learn everything they can about other races and
become experts in almost every kind of creature, and while they
specialize in specific types of supernaturals (Like how some may
go after one type of supernatural specifically), most
supernatural hunters can learn to fight many other types of
creatures as well. Depending on their training, most
supernatural hunters have to learn how to fight all types of
creatures whether they want to or not once they start training
as a supernatural hunter (as many supernatural hunters will get
hunted down by enemies of supernatural hunters once they start
supernatural hunting). Depending on the supernatural hunter,
some will search libraries on all manners of supernatural lore
and creatures depending on what they have access to, and over
time they will come to know the strengths and weaknesses of
almost every race, including spells, exorcisms and traps used
against almost all manners of supernaturals. Depending on the
age and experience of the supernatural hunter, most learn as
much about killing supernaturals as they can, as the more they
know about fighting supernaturals, the higher their chance of
survival in a job that could literally get them killed. Of
course, supernatural hunters typically use this opportunity to
learn what they can, but most typically are only limited by the
information they can find and what information they can retain.
However, the best way to learn to fight supernaturals is through
experience, though knowledge of supernaturals is also very
important. It is important in the supernatural hunting
profession to balance knowledge and experience, and being sure
to know the strengths and weaknesses of most supernaturals if
they want to survive their fights.
- Supernatural Hunter Training: Supernatural Hunting and
Tracking: For the most part, supernatural hunters have to learn
specifically how to track supernatural creatures, and often have
to have creative ways to lure creatures out. Because
supernaturals are getting smarter and learning to counter
supernatural hunters, supernatural hunters have to be creative
in how they handle tracking supernaturals. Usually, training can
involve things like being able to analyze foot steps of
creatures to find out more about where their opponent is going,
while some more skilled supernatural hunters can use tracking
more effectively to learn more about the supernaturals they're
tracking. For example, normal supernatural hunters will use foot
prints to track an opponent, but master level supernatural
hunters can learn what kind of creature made the prints by
analyzing things like how deep the footprint is and the size of
the stride being a way to tell a rough estimate of the weight of
the make of the tracks, or even traces of elements in the
footprints could be signs of certain supernaturals (such as
demons leave behind a sulfuric trace wherever they go and is
also in their footsteps). In addition, supernatural hunters are
also trained to listen to the environment, in which the
environment can be a great way to track opponents. For example,
most know that when everything in a forest goes quiet, even the
bugs, it usually means there is a predator nearby, and some
supernatural hunters can use that to tell when they are close to
a possible target. This skill is something that not only
requires knowledge of tracking, and using the environment, but
also requires knowledge of supernaturals as well. For example,
some werecreatures actually jump through trees in the forest
rather than walk on the ground, in which supernatural hunters
have to understand that and use that knowledge to their
advantage. Supernatural hunters usually have a sense of when
creatures are around them, and most are trained specifically to
track supernatural creatures. Most have come up with many ways
to track supernaturals, as the world of supernatural hunting is
rapidly changing as supernaturals come to learn supernatural
hunter tricks for hunting. Since many supernatural hunters are
human, most learn these tricks without any special senses or
abilities, as they just rely on the environment or on what they
learn about how to track creatures.
- Supernatural Hunter Training: Exorcism, Weakness and Trap
Knowledge: Most supernatural hunters are extensively trained or
learn how to use exorcisms and traps for a multitude of
creatures and mythologies, due to exorcisms and traps being very
useful in their job. Due to supernaturals having to learn about
a number of supernaturals, and having to adapt to many
situations, most have to learn extensively what supernaturals
are weak to, and how to cast out stronger supernaturals than
they can handle if they want to survive. Supernatural hunters
typically use exorcisms and traps in order to take advantage of
other races weaknesses, and typically use this on other
creatures that are vulnerable to exorcisms and traps as a means
to overcome them more easily. For example, almost any
supernatural hunter these days know that holy oil works well for
trapping angels, and even know demonic exorcisms to exorcise
angels back to Heaven. For the most part, they also know how
most supernaturals operate, as they have to know the differences
between supernatural creatures and use whatever weakness for the
creatures they are hunting. Most supernatural hunters seek as
many ways to exorcise and trap beings as possible, specifically
for finding ways to trap stronger enemies they may have to run
away from, or finding unique ways to counter some supernaturals
who have learned supernatural hunter tricks as more and more
supernaturals are trained in supernatural hunter tactics. As
such, many supernatural hunters that are experienced have had
the time to build up their knowledge and even amateur
supernatural hunters have learned about traps and exorcisms to
some degree. Typically, things like exorcisms and traps can
easily save a supernatural hunter's life in dangerous
situations, and some supernatural hunters have learned a lot
about these not just through books, but by watching other
supernatural hunters. Some even have unique ways to take
advantage of these based on their knowledge and creativity, such
as the Winchester brothers, who came up with the idea to carve
devil traps onto bullets in order to prevent a demon from being
able to leave the body they are in.
- Supernatural Hunter Counter Experts: Because of the rivalry
between some supernatural hunter groups, there are some
supernatural hunter groups that fight each other. Because of
this, most supernatural hunters also have to worry about other
supernatural hunter groups, or some supernatural hunter hunter
groups who use their own tactics against them. Because of this,
supernatural hunters have to be aware of when groups are using
their own tactics, and they have to adapt and counter those
tactics when they arise. This training also teaches supernatural
hunters how to avoid certain traps and tracking that other
supernaturals will use, with some groups training their
supernatural hunters how to counter the supernatural hunter
group rivals of the group they're trained by (For example, the
Christian churches may have rivalries with different churches
supernatural hunter groups, or certain other secret groups like
the Men of Letters may refuse to cooperate with other groups).
Because of this, it's also important for supernatural hunters to
realize that their enemies are not always supernaturals, but
sometimes other humans and other supernatural hunters. This
mostly applies to supernaturals that double as supernatural
hunters, as they often come under scrutiny for hunting their own
kind and some human supernatural groups won't let them operate
as supernatural hunters in fear they may turn on humans. Because
of this, supernatural hunters are not only weary of
supernaturals they hunt, but also of other supernatural hunters
(though many supernatural hunters often form groups for better
survival chances). To an extent, supernatural hunters have to be
weary of supernatural hunters they might come across, though
most have to learn when other supernatural hunters are enemies
and when they are allies, or else they could make unnecessary
enemies. Of course, this also works to counter when
supernaturals use this as a means to counter supernatural
hunters, which is a tactic that many supernatural hunters are
seeing more and more of in the current days.
- Supernatural Hunter Training: Presence Suppression/Crowd
Blending: Most supernatural hunters have to learn how to blend
into crowds and learn to avoid suspicion. It used to be that
supernatural hunters had to operate in secret in order to avoid
the secrets of supernaturals existing from getting out. While
that is not a focus anymore, supernatural hunters still learn to
blend into crowds and learn to avoid suspicion from normal
people. And because many supernaturals also live in the open by
learning to blend into crowds, this even more important to avoid
dangerous supernaturals who might try to take them out if they
are discovered. As such, the ability to blend into a crowd is
still just as important as it was before supernaturals were
discovered. For the most part, those supernatural hunters often
learn the best ways to avoid drawing attention to themselves in
crowds, learning methods to keep suspicion off them. For
example, some supernatural hunters will have ways to hide their
supernatural hunter weapons when out in public, often wearing
casual clothes or clothes to fit whatever area they're in (such
as wearing clothes common to the area they're in to avoid
looking out of place) that can allow them to not show their
weapons they may carry with them. Because a lot of supernatural
hunters are human, most have no supernatural ability to hide
their presence, and even with things like the assassin
wavelength being able to be learned by humans, most humans have
learned this skill just by using their ability to disguise
themselves, or using different methods to mask their trail if a
supernatural knows they're coming after them (such as some male
supernatural hunters will use different colognes to mask their
true scent and confuse those with enhanced senses of smell).
Crowds can be very useful, as crowds can mask someone's scent,
due to so many people often being in one area that the scents
are impossible to differentiate, and hiding in crowds can make
one hard to find if they blend in to the crowd well enough,
allowing a supernatural hunter to be able to avoid suspicion
from supernaturals they are hunting or other supernaturals in
general (as supernaturals they are not hunting may attack them).
- Stealth, Stealth Killer and Infiltration Expert: After being
trained by his mentor, Solid Snake, Akiba is a very skilled
infiltration and stealth expert who can handle stealth and
infiltration missions and jobs quite easily thanks to his
training and knowledge. Typically, Akiba is the type of person
who can sneak into almost any place, in which he has snuck even
into Wraith facilities during his time with the Mercenaries.
However, unlike Flynn, who sneaks around killing everyone in his
path, Akiba sneaks around, completely avoiding encounters
(usually as a way to not have to kill people). Akiba can walk
quietly enough that even supernaturals cannot hear his movements
if he walks slowly (due to his suit reducing the sounds he makes
when walking), making him able to sneak up even on those with
strong senses (the only sense that can usually tell he's coming
is enhanced presence senses, especially if Akiba is using his
octo-camo). Flynn and Akiba are both equally skilled at stealth,
but Flynn and Akiba both have very different ways of
infiltration. Flynn usually will take out anyone he can, usually
killing them before they can call for help, in which he views
killing enemies as a means to keep the path clear when he wants
to leave a place he has infiltrated without too much trouble,
whereas Akiba would have to sneak around everyone a second time
to which Akiba's method leaves everyone alive (usually) which
may or may not be good for some missions. Akiba is very skilled
at infiltration, and very skilled at staying hidden especially
when using his octo-camo to stay hidden. Akiba is also an expert
at stealth killing, in which he has learned a number of ways to
kill opponents without making too much noise for those times
where he does have to kill. For example, if there is a danger of
an opponent calling for someone nearby, Akiba will cover the
enemy's mouth and slit their throat so they can't talk, a means
to sever their vocal cords so they can't alert the people
nearby. Akiba knows how to handle himself in a number of ways,
and can kill opponents without most every finding out he was
around. Akiba will also usually use his trainquilizer gun for
silent takedowns, in which he will shoot someone in the neck
with a tranquilizer dart, and then hide them in a closet.
- Master Torture and Interrogation Expert: During his years in
the unit Foxhound, Akiba ended up having to learn how to
interrogate really well thanks to his stealth missions where he
had to infiltrate quietly and sometimes had to interrogate on
locations of his objectives. Over time, Akiba became a master
interrogator and an expert in torture. Unlike Flynn who
specializes more in physical torture and his own methods of
making people uncomfortable, Akiba is a master of psychological
interrogation and torture (though he knows quite well how to use
physical torture). Of course, while he's not as much of an
expert on torture as someone like Eric Matthews of Zenrael's
group, Akiba is very skilled in how he handles this, as he
mostly just sees it as a challenge when people don't tell him
what he wants to know, and will torture them as a means to
overcome them. This isn't something that Akiba takes pride in,
as he doesn't like having to torture opponents for information.
When Flynn and Akiba were in Foxhound, they would often work
together, bringing both physical and psychological interrogation
to enemies as both have unique specialties. As such, it should
be noted just how well Akiba can get information from enemies.
Akiba will often use psychological manipulation to get his
enemies to talk, and can be a very intimidating person when he
wants to be, threatening people or torturing people as needed.
Among his best techniques are those using psychological warfare
to get in an enemy's head, but among his most useful is his
ability to make people uncomfortable by asking them pointless
questions. He will usually ask the question he wants answered,
and then ask a bunch of pointless questions until the person
gets annoyed or reveals something without meaning to. This uses
a psychological method of getting into someone's head by making
them forget about the interrogation, usually getting them to not
focus while still keeping the information they don't want to
tell in their head. Eventually, opponents usually make a mistake
and accidentally mention the information they are trying to not
talk about. One can probably guess, but Akiba is great at
psychological warfare and intimidation, but knows when being
friendly is more effective as well. Because of this, he is great
at getting into people's heads.
- Murderous Intent Sense: This lets those with this sense when
an attack is coming, usually by being able to tell when someone
has the intent to kill. This is a skill most warriors get by
fighting constantly for many years, learning how to sense
someone's murderous intent usually through encountering it
first-hand enough that they start to develop a strange sense
that lets them read people and be able to tell when someone has
the intention to kill. This lets the user read their environment
as well as the people around them in order to see what attacks
might be coming their way by reading an opponent's body language
and the "sense" of people around them. This gives them a passive
sense of reading people who might try to hurt them, as they can
sense when someone is ready to attack, and most people can
usually sense when that murderous intent is aimed at them. Some
can sense this literally as an aura through things like ki
sense, but most sense it in an instinctive way once their
instincts have been developed through constant fighting and
battles. This gives the user time to predict an attack, and to
some extent, helps the person predict what opponents will do in
a fight by reading their murderous intent. For example, by
reading an opponent's body language, such as how they move or
how tense they might be, a user of this can read opponents
movements in order to predict how they will fight or attack, as
some have developed entire fighting styles predicting people
through this method, such as the Hiten Mitsurugi sword style
that uses this to predict opponents. However, this sense is not
perfect, and some opponents can't be read if they can disguise
their murderous intent or they learn skills that can trick
people with this sense. Those who have no ability to feel
emotions also don't give off this murderous intent, as those who
don't have emotions don't feel the intent to kill. This sense is
usually pretty reliable unless one can suppress their murderous
intent, and is usually instinctive among people who have seen a
lot of battle and those that have fought for their lives
multiple times. The only real way to develop this is experience,
as no amount of training can truly grasp how this sense truly
works as it is only a passive ability that one can pick up by
experiencing murderous intent firsthand from enough people that
they learn to recognize the murderous intent in the feelings
they get from people.
Passive Abilities:
- Foxhound Poison Gene Modification Therapy: When Akiba and
Flynn's world came under attack, Foxhound tried to create a
special gene modification to prevent the Wraith and Order member
vampires from being able to feed on them as a means to protect
Foxhound members from the Order of the Dragon, and from the
Wraith who were feeding on humans. Luckily, this gene
modification was successful, and those in Foxhound that were
enhanced with this were able to be enhanced with this as a
passive permanent enhancement. This allows the Foxhound members
to prevent supernaturals and the Wraith from being able to feed
on them, in which this essentially makes the user's energy and
blood poisonous to supernaturals. Whether it's a werewolf eating
a heart, a vampire drinking blood or even a corpse eater
supernatural feeding on a dead Foxhound member with this
enhancement, this essentially makes a Foxhound member with this
enhancement unable to be eaten unless the supernatural is
willing to poison themselves. However, this doesn't stop at just
the blood, as the energies of the body are also affected by this
enhancement. The energies of the body, as well as the energies
of the soul, are just as poisonous to supernaturals as their
blood. This includes the life energy, which is usually what the
Wraith fed on when the Order invaded. Because of this, the
Wraith cannot feed on those with this enhancement, and soul
eaters cannot take spirit energy or souls from those with this
enhancement due to the effect also being on their spirit energy.
This is a passive enhancement, and if a supernatural is fed the
blood of someone who is enhanced with this, or a Wraith or soul
eater tries to take energy from them, they will essentially
poison themselves, which will usually kill most supernaturals
when they attempt to feed on those with this enhancement. Not
even those with poison immunity are able to resist this, as it
essentially is more like corrupting their food rather than it
being like a poison that can be countered by supernaturals with
poison resistance. The only way to avoid this is to avoid
feeding on the person enhanced with this, or if they do feed on
them, they cannot take much of the person's blood or energy (as
they essentially have to break off their feeding before they
reach a fatal dose of blood and energy or else risk death).
- Foxhound Nanomachine Enhancement: This was a specialty of
Foxhound, in which this enhancement was designed for it's groups
members. This powerup injects nanomachines, small nanobots that
are designed to to enhance the people who are injected with
this. These nanomachines are energized by the body's neural
network, and run through the blood stream, with some developing
connections with certain parts of the body for different
functions depending on the functions needed. Usually, these
nanomachines come in one of two different enhancements. The
first is a standard enhancement, where the nanomachines are
essentially just designed for a few general purposes and
enhancements. The second is the nanomachines that are injected
and granted special enhancements, such as some who have gotten
special regenerative nanomachines, some who get nanomachines
that harden the body, or even some that get nanomachines that
generate electromagnetic fields. Since Foxhound is a
organization made up of almost all humans, this enhancement was
designed to allow Foxhound to enhance those who work for them
since they often hunt down supernaturals. The basic enhancements
start with the codec system, a system that allows communication
between nanomachine users (being able to call and communicate
with others), and the nanomachines suppression of certain
responses in the body that might hinder them in battle. Of
course, some users get more specific enhancements, which are
usually enhancements that are in addition to the basic
enhancements. Due to this, the nanomachines are usually designed
to operate passively in the body, with no real action from the
user needed to maintain them. These nanomachines are also able
to resist magnetic inteference and things like EMP damage, as
they are able to resist a number of technology cancelling
methods, due to the fact that they use the body like a barrier
to protect the nanomachines from influence from the outside. The
only real way to disable these nanomachines is with prolonged
electromagnetic radiation or replacement nanomachines.
- Natural Combat Talent: Supernatural Hunter Fighting Style:
Possibly inherited from his father, Arthur Hellsing, Akiba was
born with an unusual combat talent of his own that would lead to
his recruitment by Foxhound. This talent makes Akiba a natural
at figuring out combat talents, and adapting to those talents in
battle. Typically, this involves him figuring out supernatural
abilities, strengths and weaknesses much more easily, and even
having a great sense at hiding from supernaturals using stealth.
Partly in thanks to his training from his mentor Solid Snake,
Akiba has learned to hone this combat talent, using it in battle
to take down supernatural opponents. This has led to Akiba being
great at fighting many supernatural opponents, from learning how
vampires use their disciplines, to seeing how werewolves take
advantage of their wolf-like bodies, and even learning to
identify certain supernaturals almost instinctively. While Akiba
is not the biggest expert on supernaturals, his natural combat
talent has let him beat a lot of supernaturals in combat thanks
to his training, and learning to hone this has only strengthened
his ability to combat supernatural combat styles and abilities.
While it might seem obvious to avoid things like fire or
darkness techniques, Akiba's talent goes beyond just recognizing
the obvious. For example, he can tell by a vampire's muscle
movements when they are going to use certain disciplines (like
recognizing by leg movement when a vampire is going to use
celerity movement), or he can tell when werewolves are in a
certain state to use certain gifts like those that utilize rage.
Even though Akiba doesn't rely on his nanomachines to or his
tech to read his opponents, Akiba can keep up with many
supernaturals despite not being at a level to fight some
supernaturals (such as he can fight celerity users without being
able to use any super speed techniques himself). Akiba is a rare
case of a human who has extraordinary senses of how
supernaturals act and fight, and uses this as a supernatural
hunter to his utmost advantage.
- Experienced Combat Talent: Combat Style Adaptability: After
years of hunting supernaturals, Akiba has developed an
experience around combat that has led him to becoming very
skilled learning to use his combat talent to adapt when it comes
to fighting. By seeing how others fight and adapting his style,
usually finetuning his movements and own combat tactics, Akiba
is able to adapt his fighting style far more easily than most
people would be able to. For example, if he encounters someone
who uses a particular stepping method to move around, Akiba will
usually adapt to it by figuring out ways around the stepping
method using things like his own stepping methods, or using his
own combat tactics to try and get an advantage over aspects of
the opponent's fighting style. He doesn't just do this in
battle, but can do this outside of battle as well by coming up
with ways to counter supernaturals he's encountered through
experimentation with his combat style. By doing this, Akiba is
able to adapt to certain combat tactics and abilities by using
this combat talent, which has come from his experience. This is
not a combat talent that most people are born with (though some
do have similar combat abilities they can be born with), and is
only gained through fighting and gaining experience in combat.
This combat style isn't just limited to combat styles though, as
Akiba can learn to develop certain combat tactics and combat
abilities in response to supernatural abilities as well. For
example, he may learn how to counter certain energy users by
analyzing how often they can fire supernatural energies, and
seeing how they fire it (such as whether or not they fire from
their hand or some fire from their aura). By doing this, Akiba
is able to learn and eventually even learn to predict opponents
of similar types, such as taking what he learned from fighting a
fire user and applying it to fighting other fire users as well.
Of course, as one might expect, this talent is not perfect, and
often requires observation, which can lead Akiba to be misguided
if an opponent is intentionally deceptive about their abilities.
Also, there are some supernaturals that can adapt far more
easily than he can, resulting in Akiba likely not being able to
adapt as fast as those who have certain supernatural adaptions.
- Interrogation Ability: Intimidation Aura: Akiba is normally a
calm and collected person, in which Akiba doesn't usually show
any anger or hatred since he tends to be a pretty non-serious
and laidback person. However, due to his slightly more laid back
personality, and his time interrogating, Akiba is the type of
person who can turn the intimidation on or off (not in a
traditional sense, but he can choose when he wants to be
intimidating or not) at will. Depending on what he wants to do,
Akiba can be a very scary person, in which he can seem to give
off a very intimidating feel to people. When Akiba is truly
angry or hateful, his glaring gaze is usually enough to silence
people, and those who are the subject of his anger or hatred
should usually feel scared if Akiba is in this mode. Akiba is
someone who can usually intimidate a great many people, not just
because of his experience in interrogation, but also because of
his psychological knack for interrogation. When Akiba wants to
be, he can get under opponent's skin through intimidation
(usually, some are hard to affect) through just how he looks at
them, and what people feel in his emotions. Typically, Akiba
doesn't take pride in torturing people, but instead takes pride
in his more psychological ways of interrogating. It isn't really
right to call this an ability, but more of just an aspect of
Akiba's personality. When Akiba is angry or hateful, it is
enough to make even supernaturals hesitate usually, and even his
teammates sometimes fear him when he gets into certain moods
(which isn't often, but it does happen on rare occassions).
Akiba has learned to use this intimidating "aura" at will, in
which he can usually be a very intimidating person if he wants
to be, or he can be not intimidating at all if he wants to be
friendly, as some people find it more intimidating if he's
friendly when he should be intimidating. Akiba has a knack for
knowing when to be intimidating or friendly, and can use this
pretty well. This is not really an ability or anything, but more
just an effect of Akiba when he gets into certain moods, or when
he's doing interrogations since he's learned to essentially
channel this "mood" in certain ways at will.
- Ordained Christian Minister: Most people don't really know
this, but Akiba is actually a religious man, being a Christian.
After years in the church, Akiba became an ordained minister,
where he became certified by the church and was blessed by
certain ministers to allow Akiba to be a minister of the church.
Akiba is set to more of an apostolic view, following more or
less how the apostles of Jesus in the bible viewed biblical
principles. However, unlike most Christians, and similar to
those like Blademaster Raven, Akiba doesn't parade around his
religious side, and most people tend to forget Akiba is
religious at all. Because he is a minister though, this gives
him special advantages. The first is that Akiba can bless items
or weapons through prayer, in which he can help create
supernatural hunter weapons he and others can use without
needing another minister. And thanks to his Men of Letters
training, he has a number of unique spells and enchantments he
can do thanks to this since some require blessing. Akiba also
has the ability to sanctify areas through prayer and Men of
Letters spells, where can create holy spaces that can be used to
help keep supernaturals out, as well as empower allies. This
lets Akiba sanctify any place as long as he views it as a holy
place, and allows him to maintain sanctified areas by praying in
sanctified areas that may be losing their blessing (as most
sanctified areas require constant prayer to be maintained).
Thanks to this, he is able to also make his own holy water, in
which he can bless purified water by saying a prayer over it.
This is more of a passive power, in which effects can happen
through prayers, and mostly is used by Akiba to make his own
supernatural hunter weapons, in which he has made a lot of
supernatural hunter weapons over the years, including inventing
a few of his own (with his most used one being the blessed bible
page). However, if Akiba doesn't keep his religious views, and
overuses negative emotions (specifically anger and hatred), this
ability to use his ordained minister abilities will decrease
until they disappear completely, as this requires Akiba to stay
in his religious views. Luckily, Akiba tends to stay in his
religious views, and doesn't force his views on people.
- Multi-Linguist/Language Learning: Most supernatural hunters,
who travel a lot, know a great many languages used by people in
the world, with many supernatural hunters knowing most of the
earth's languages depending on how much education they have and
how old they are. Typically, most supernatural hunters know
multiple languages, including ancient and forgotten languages
they may learn in order to learn more about supernaturals (One
such example is that in order to learn exorcism chants that work
on angels, one must learn Enochian). The most common one is
whatever language they learn to speak first depending on their
heritage, but most pick up other languages depending on where
they travel. For the most part, most supernatural hunters
usually learn four languages above all others (besides what they
need in ancient languages) which are English, French, German and
Spanish (which are usually more common languages one will
encounter). However, this isn't limited to just these languages,
as supernatural hunters will learn different languages based on
what they do and the kinds of supernaturals they combat. For
example, supernatural hunters in Japan often deal with spirits
and spirits that become spirits of calamity, so it is necessary
to learn more about Shinto religion (which focuses on spirits
and their interaction with the world) and learn Japanese so they
can operate in Japanese territory and learn about Shinto. There
are those that even learn Haitian languages to learn to counter
voodoo magic and spells or even to learn them. This depends
mostly on the supernatural hunter and what they are trained to
fight, as many will have to learn multiple languages to fight
different kinds of supernaturals not just to communicate, but
also to learn different supernatural hunting techniques like
exorcisms and chants that are only available in certain
languages. When it comes to Akiba, his primary language is
English, with secondary languages of Spanish, Portuguese,
French, German, Chinese, Japanese, and Russian. However, in
terms of supernatural hunting exorcisms, he knows exorcisms in
Enochian, Biblical Hebrew, Current Hebrew, Latin and a few other
dead languages that he has had to learn due to his time in the
Men of Letters. Unlike others, he can speak Enochian, Latin and
Hebrew, as well as write it and recognize these languages.
- Enhanced Human Senses: While not a supernatural, Akiba does
have enhanced human senses beyond that of most normal humans.
Akiba is able to see far more effectively and process what he
sees far faster than most opponents. His sight is enhanced
enough that he even has an enhanced vision in the dark, where he
can almost see in pure darkness if he is able to focus his
eyesight properly due to how tuned his senses are to battle
thanks to his training (though he doesn't usually need this
thanks to his sunglasses that over different visions). When it
comes to his sense of smell, he is able to smell far more
effectively than humans, though it's nowhere near as good as
senses of smell of those like werewolves. While not as strong as
a supernaturals, Akiba can more easily differentiate different
smells than most people, as most of the time, people might have
trouble differentiating smells that overlap. When it comes to
hearing, Akiba can hear farther sound from father away than most
people, with his hearing being almost as good as some
supernaturals. Though not enhanced enough to counter
supernatural hearing, it is strong enough that he can hear
sounds most people would miss. His senses are highly enhanced,
able to perceive more than that of most people. However, with
him not having too enhanced senses, this also means that his
senses are harder to take advantage of in battle unlike most
supernaturals. Things like flashbangs and strong smells don't
affect him more than any other human despite having enhanced
senses. However, this also means that his senses aren't as
enhanced as other opponents, and some supernaturals will have
better senses than him, even though his senses are enhanced
since a lot supernatural senses outclass Akiba's slightly
enhanced senses.
- Nanomachine Enhanced Healing: Even though this is not quite as
fast and able to heal as greatly as others, Akiba's nanomachines
can heal at an enhanced rate. This is a somewhat unique basic
enhancement, in which Akiba was given this enhancement that was
more a basic enhancement that was only given to those that
needed the extra boost in healing (which is why those like Flynn
don't have this enhancement) because when he started out, he was
getting hurt a little more often than those who are more skilled
at combat (though he has grown out of this and doesn't have the
same problems after becoming as experienced as he is now). This
healing allows Akiba to heal from injuries at a slightly
enhanced rate, where Akiba is able to heal from injuries that
would kill some people. Akiba has taken heavy damage from
opponents, in which to see how much he can endure, one just has
to go back to his last fight with Eric Matthews who almost
killed Akiba in their fight (after Akiba was sniped). Things
like cuts, bruises and most simple injuries heal in minutes,
while some more serious injuries can heal in as little as a few
hours depending on the injury and if Akiba recieves proper
medical treatment. Something like a broken bone that would take
a month or two to heal (depending on the person) heals in only a
few weeks, and some stab wounds have healed in about 8 hours. Of
course, as one might imagine, this only works as long as Akiba
is still alive, as he can die before his nanomachines can help
his body heal an injury. Unlike other healing, this doesn't add
regeneration, but rather just speeds up Akiba's natural healing
response, so this doesn't actually count as regeneration or tech
regeneration, as Akiba's nanomachines are just speeding up the
cells that determine the healing process, though his
nanomachines can be used to rebuild tissue and mend certain more
serious injuries, but this does count as artificial regeneration
since this is not a natural healing response and is the only
time the nanomachines heal on their own. Also, Akiba's own
healing response is also slightly determined by how well his
injuries are treated, as if they aren't treated right, healing
could take longer, or Akiba might not heal correctly (like a
broken bone might not heal correctly unless it is set and put
into a cast even with his nanomachine healing).
- Nanomachine Enhancement: Enhanced Lifespan: Because of the
regenerative abilities of the nanomachine enhancement used by
Foxhound, Akiba's recovery means that he will live longer than
it would normally be possible for a human. Because of his
nanomachines, the effects of aging are slowed considerably to
the point that Akiba's aging almost completely stops as the
nanomachines are usually healing the effects of aging when Akiba
isn't even thinking about it. It isn't known how long Akiba will
live for, but his enhanced healing is theorized to allow him to
live at least a few hundred years at the very least (As he is
still alive in the Apocalypse timeline). This means that Akiba
will not suffer any aging effects very quickly, to the point it
may take hundreds of years to show any age from the age he is at
now. If his nanomachines work well enough, it's possible that
Akiba could live for thousands of years if his regenerative
serum can hold off his effects of aging well enough (though
highly unlikely for Akiba). While this doesn't protect him from
being killed in battle, or from illnesses, it does protect him
from most effects aging might have on his body, such as his body
weakening from old age, or his skin wrinkling as he gets older.
However, it is theorized that after Akiba does eventually age to
a certain point, it is theorized that the nanomachines will lose
their healing enhancement ability on Akiba, and Akiba will age
from that point on at a normal rate. It isn't known if
nanomachine's effects will dwindle all at once, or if it will be
a gradual process. However, it is worth noting that this doesn't
stop the effects of illnesses or things Akiba might suffer, but
it does grant him enhanced healing power that will prevent him
from dying of old age for a very long time. And as mentioned,
this does not prevent Akiba from being killed if someone is able
to kill him as he can be killed like any other human even if he
can take more damage than most humans.
- Nanomachine Enhancement Ability: Codec Communication: When the
nanomachine enhancement was developed by the Foxhound
organization, one of the main reasons it was made was to allow
communication through special nanite enhancements that take hold
in the brain. By using this method, users of the codec system
are able to communicate using the nanomachines which is a
communication that is completely silent. Some have compared this
to telepathy, as this lets those with nanomachines communicate
with others through the mind. When using this, the nanomachines
are all connected through one network which is unlike any other
network in the world. This network uses frequencies depending on
the person, where each person operates on a different frequency,
with each one being different and belonging to a different
person (though currently there are more frequencies than people
on the nanomachine network). For the most part, this allows one
to communicate with other nanomachine users without talking, and
doesn't require them to take attention away from whatever they
may be doing, aside from the obvious attempt at multi-tasking.
Because not enough people are on the nanomachine network, this
is also able to access phones and other communication devices,
in which the nanomachine network can allow communication with
others through connected to other communication networks (though
this is only possible if the network isn't encrypted and the
nanomachine network is allowed to connect to the network).
Currently, no one has been known to be able to hack this system
(however, some have tried to control the nanomachines in
people), so this network is not usually able to be overheard by
others. However, aside from communication, this network doesn't
have any real uses outside of just using it to communicate with
others. This is mostly used in a military type setting to stay
in contact with fellow soldiers and superior officers. Akiba has
this enhancement, able to use nanomachine communication on his
own frequency, just like those like his mentor and Big Boss,
which other nanomachine users can access and call.
- Nanomachine Enhancement Ability: Body Function Regulation:
Another of the main effects of the nanomachine enhancement is
the fact that the nanomachines are designed to regulate the
body's functions in such a way that the body is able to operate
optimally in battle. The nanomachines operate on what the
nanomachines perceive as the best condition the body can be in,
and will operate to keep the body in that condition by typically
controlling how the body operates. For example, if the body is
feeling nauseated, then the nanomachines will suppress the
stomach acid and usually help the body suppress the nausea.
Another thing these nanomachines can do is affect the brain's
hormones, and make sure the body doesn't release certain
hormones unless the nanomachines allow it. This is to avoid the
brain not being in the right condition to make decisions, as
certain hormones can affect one's mental processes. While this
doesn't control the mind or emotions, it does help influence the
mind so that it is more efficient. This is all to allow the body
to operate at its peak condition, as these nanomachines are
designed to help keep soldiers in Foxhound at peak condition
when they're in the field. For the most part, this applies to
the body and the mind, where the nanomachines will keep the body
operating in the best possible condition. However, there are
certain things the nanomachines are not allowed to influence,
such as the nanomachines are not allowed to influence emotions
(even though suppressing emotions would be something that some
might argue should allow peak condition soldiers), and these
nanomachines are not allowed to influence conscious or
subconscious thought for fear that the nanomachines could be
used to take over someone's mind. After a threat once tried to
use the nanomachine system to control those with nanomachines,
certain rules were made on how to best use these. As such, these
are not really much for doing anything other than regulating the
body, and other than their job regulating the body, there's not
really any other use of this ability to note. For Akiba, he does
gain a slightly enhanced immune response to illnesses and
foreign pathogens, in which his nanomachines can help him from
getting sick to a degree.
- Nanomachine Enhancement Ability: Mind and Body Protection:
This is the last enhancement of the nanomachines, in which those
with this enhancement are protected in the body from certain
effects. The most common protection is psychic influence, in
which these nanomachines will actually protect from certain
influences. If a supernatural tries to take hold of the mind or
body of someone with nanomachines, the nanomachines will
essentially free the body from the influence, using the
nanomachines to exert the body's will if for some reason the
body and mind suddenly become out of sync (which usually
indicates outside influences). When the mind and/or body are
under the effects of this, those with this enhancements
practically become immune to the effects of most psychic and
other control abilities. While this may not protect from some
influences (like some telekinetic abilities might still work on
them if the user cannot overpower it), it does grant passive
protection that can help users of nanomachines resist psychic
abilities to the point that many attempts to control them are
practically useless. This also prevents control of the mind, in
which the nanomachines are programmed to prevent changes in the
mind, and if a psychic person tries to control the mind, then
the nanomachines will free the mind from control. While the
nanomachines cannot control minds, they can be used to free a
mind from control by using small electromagnetic surges to
essentially shock the brain free of any control, which can
actually send some mental pain back to the psychic trying to
control the user. This is a pretty basic passive skill that
nanomachines give their users, and the nanomachines operate on
this without needing any input from the user. As such, there is
no way to turn this off, as this function cannot be overridden
and changed due to fear of techno-kinetics trying to control
these nanomachines.
- Nanomachine Anti-Tampering System: After the incident with
someone trying to control the nanomachine system and a former
Foxhound member who tried to control others through
nanomachines, Foxhound and the government started working on
anti-tech disruption to protect the nanomachine enhancements,
and make them resistant to technology manipulators (like
technology psychics), and put special infused energy generation
in each Foxhound member's nanomachines, which generates an
anti-tech wave that prevents tech disruption devices and powers
from affected those with Foxhound nanomachines and cybernetic
upgrades, as this is generated by all of the nanomachines in the
bodies of those with the nanomachine enhancement. This was also
designed to keep scientists from accessing the nanomachines and
cybernetics they might have access to, in fear of another person
who might try to take control of all the nanomachine enhanced
soldiers in the field. As such, this makes it so that tech
psychics and other technology disruption abilities don't work on
anyone with this upgrade, and is even resistant to EMP through
the tech being designed with nano-tech upgrades that help grant
high resistance to EMP waves to the point that nanomachines are
often even able to resist the influence of microwaves (which are
comparable in how they affect electronic devices) for extended
periods of time. This system is designed to prevent anyone from
tampering with the nanomachines and letting the nanomachines
work. The only way to override this is to inject new
nanomachines with a special procedure that is designed to
override and replace the old nanomachines using a special
program designed to show the old nanomachines that the
replacement nanomachines are meant to replace the old
nanomachines. Overall, the anti-tampering even prevents the user
themselves from tampering with the network, making this a
network that is designed to be among the most difficult to hack
or forcibly change possible in order to protect nanomachine
users.
- Peak Human Supernatural Hunter and Combat Trained Physical
Stats: Though not a supernatural or a super soldier by any
means, Akiba is able to fight on par with some super soldiers,
as he has fought those enhanced by super soldier serums. In
terms of strength, Akiba is able to fight on the same level as
some supernaturals, where he can match them in power with enough
effort. While not the strongest, Akiba is pretty strong by human
standards and is in peak human strength. In terms of speed,
Akiba doesn't have any super speed abilities, but using
footwork, along with his CQC fighting style and his combat
trained reflexes, he can counter some celerity and other super
speed users if he is careful about how he attacks and trying to
hide his attacks till the super speed user can't dodge (as super
speed users can dodge attacks faster than most). In terms of
durability and defense, Akiba doesn't have enhanced skin or
anything like that, but he is able to take a lot of abuse and
punishment for a human, in which he is able to survive a lot of
hits that would kill most people. He can even stay conscious
while damaged longer than most, not because he has a high pain
tolerance, but more because his nanomachines can suppress the
pain to a managable level, and keep him operating at peak
efficiency longer. In terms of stamina, Akiba is able to fight
for quite some time, even being on par with some supernaturals
in terms of how long he can fight. In terms of humans, he is in
the peak condition a human can be in without going into
supernatural enhanced stats, and Akiba is experienced enough to
use his unique combat talents that even without being a
supernatural, Akiba can avoid a lot of combat talents from other
supernaturals even though he can't always match them (usually
through combat tactics, traps, or experienced fighting
techniques). Akiba is a very skilled fighter, and manages to
keep up with many of his supernatural companions who are mostly
vampires, werewolves, and other supernatural creatures.
Transformations:
- None
Weaknesses:
- While Akiba is a very tough man to kill, Akiba is still only
human, and one can kill him as such. His nanomachine
enhancements don't really offer him too much help in terms of
healing other than speeding up his healing. Since he is still
human, destroying his heart or brain, or giving him a fatal
wound will still kill him like any other human, even if killing
him might take a little more effort with his enhanced physical
combat ability and his ability to allow his nanomachines to
suppress his pain to a degree. But overall, one can still kill
Akiba like any other human if one can pierce through his outfit,
as he relies on the defense of his outfit in battle against
supernaturals (mostly). One can also get to Akiba through things
like using gas or other toxic substances in the air, unless
Akiba is wearing his mask to filter out those substances (in
which case, opponents can still attack the mask and break the
filters inside of it with enough strength and a properly placed
attack). Overall, Akiba is not an enhanced supernatural, and
while he keeps up with them, he is still a human at the end of
the day, so opponents that are enhanced supernaturals can
overpower or outmaneuver him if they are more skilled than
Akiba's combat abilities can allow. Akiba also tends to require
his gear on missions, as he relies on it to give himself an
advantage against supernaturals. While he can fight without it,
as he isn't dependant on it, it does making fighting
supernaturals far easier with his gear than without. Akiba is an
experienced supernatural hunter, but while he is experienced,
supernaturals are still creatures that have abilities that he
doesn't, and since Akiba doesn't have any special abilities,
supernaturals can easily take advantage of that as long as Akiba
doesn't adapt to their combat styles. For the most part,
anything that will take out a human, such as an explosion, a
well placed bullet, or even a big fall could kill Akiba as much
as any other human. This is Akiba's only real weakness (besides
his psychological weaknesses), but only because he doesn't have
other race abilities that would grant him other weaknesses
(which means he also doesn't have any supernatural abilities to
use in combat that might save his life).
- Psychologically, Akiba has had a lot of bad things happen to
him. Bringing up certain subjects can be used to affect him
psychologically. For example, Slade Wilson, a former member of
Foxhound, still blames Akiba for the death of the love of his
live who Akiba had to let die in order to complete a mission or
risk the entire team dying, but Akiba still blames himself for
not being able to complete the mission and get all his people
out (as he feels he shouldn't leave anyone behind). Things like
this can really get to Akiba, and this is partially why he
doesn't talk about certain subjects very often. Akiba's past is
a minefield, where a lot of things have exploded due to his past
coming back to haunt him. While Akiba is a very skilled warrior
and is among the most experienced of the Crow Mercenaries when
it comes to combat, he didn't start out that way, and made a LOT
of mistakes when he was younger. A lot of people died because of
him over the years, from people he couldn't save, to people who
have died in his arms, to people he's lost and don't know where
they are today (those like Flynn who he thought were dead).
Akiba is very sensitive to certain subjects, and this can be
used to get into his head and affect him in battle if an
opponent knows enough about him. Enemies like Big Boss and Slade
Wilson are the biggest ones to mention if one wants to taunt
Akiba, as Big Boss and Slade Wilson are perhaps the biggest
obstacles he has ever faced, and are his worst enemies (despite
them not being supernaturals and being human). Just the thoughts
of them both bring back thoughts of the people he couldn't save,
and the people who have died because of him because of the
decisions he's been forced to make. While Akiba isn't really to
blame for most of those cases (as difficult decisions had to be
made in most cases, or things happened out of his control),
Akiba still blames himself. If used properly, one can throw off
his combat by using this against him, as he usually won't fight
properly if one uses certain memories against him. Currently,
not a lot of people know much about his past, but that will soon
change with people like Slade Wilson and Big Boss in London, and
who knows who else hiding in the shadows from his past.
Personality: Normally, Akiba is a pretty laid back person,
usually being pretty lighthearted. He can be a bit of a smartass
at times, and doesn't seem to take much too seriously. When it
comes to training, he will often seem like he isn't trying, and
will lose fights in training because he's not trying to win
them. Akiba is someone who doesn't have anything to prove (for
the most part), and tends to be pretty reserved. He is pretty
prideful of his Hellsing name, and enjoys names in general
despite how his mentor tried to teach him that names don't mean
anything. Akiba is someone who rarely gets angry, always
attempting to keep a cool head and a reserved attitude. There
isn't much that gets under his skin, with the exception of
certain things from his past that are not easy for him to bring
up. Akiba is someone who can be very intimidating when he wants
to be, in which he will usually seek to intimidate his opponents
into giving him information when needed. Akiba is also a
religious man who is an ordained minister, even though most
don't really know it. Akiba doesn't push his religious views on
people, and doesn't really talk about religion much among the
Crow Mercenaries (either because they share his views, like
Blademaster Raven and Takahashi, or they don't care about
religion, like Dufort and Shana). The only time Akiba is ever
sad, angry or hateful is usually when it comes to certain
opponents like Slade Wilson or Big Boss, who he has come to
truly despise due to the things they've done. It takes a lot to
anger Akiba, but if one does, it's usually not a pretty sight.
In battle, Akiba is rarely serious unless he has to be. The only
time he ever gets serious is if he is in a dangerous fight, or
if there is something on the line (like an ally's life).
Normally he will have fun and has a cocky attitude in battles,
not being afraid of most opponents. However, if something is on
the line or it is an opponent that he truly hates or gets angry
at, he will get serious and show why he's feared among some
supernaturals as such a skilled supernatural hunter. In battle,
Akiba is someone who typically is a strategic opponent, who
fights using strategy over raw force. He will often not only use
strategy to beat an opponent, but may even attempt psychological
warfare to unbalance his opponent and get his opponent to reveal
a weakness or get an opponent emotional enough that their
fighting style becomes unstable. Of course, he also is the type
that doesn't believe into going into battle alone, and will
usually have friends with him in battle. He is the type of
person that believes in teamwork, and won't hesitate to do what
he has to in order to protect his friends and family in both the
Crow Mercenaries and in Hellsing. He has a silent faith in his
friends combat abilities, and will usually let his allies fight
certain kinds of opponents if they want to, such as he will
usually let Blademaster Raven take on sword type opponents who
think they're masters of the sword, or he may let Takahashi take
on fallen angels and demon enemies. Akiba usually is the type to
just play support, rarely being on the front lines unless he has
to. Akiba is the type that usually hangs back as the sniper of
the group, and the one who coordinates while everyone is in
combat (as even those like Dufort cannot coordinate if they're
too focused on the fight).

Actually, I figured out what the problem was. A couple of my
attachments were over 10 MB which the site doesn't allow. Don't
know how that happened but it did.
