As Dufort goes into the blast room, he starts flooding the
straps with energy to break the bonds. After doing so, the egg
glows for a moment and then cracks open. As the egg cracks open,
a wave of darkness comes out of the egg and forms the alternate
Wykoth. Once he was out, he yawns as though waking up from a
nap. He then starts tapping his head, as though trying to get
his ears to pop like one might do during a flight.
Dufort: Wykoth... I finally did it. I finally freed you. He says
to Wykoth.
Wykoth smiles and hugs Dufort. Wykoth: Hey kiddo! I missed you!
You barely changed at all. How many years has it been? He says,
hugging Dufort.
Dufort just growls a bit in annoyance. Dufort: Come on. You know
I am not one for hugs. He says sarcastically, trying to hide his
joy at seeing Wykoth again. Despite his usual insistence on not
caring about physical contact like hugs, he didn't seem to mind
that Wykoth was hugging him, and just seemed like he was used to
this being how Wykoth normally acted.
As opens the pot, the energy inside releases and the alternate
Doctor pops out alongside the alien bear, Gale Malekster. The
two seem really confused as they spin around, taking in their
surroundings. The alternate Doctor had his screwdriver out,
pointing it around (though it was pretty harmless since it
didn't have any attack functions. However, Malekster was holding
what looked like two silenced pistols made from alien tech, and
was also moving around trying to figure out where he was at. The
alternate Doctor didn't seem too different from the London
Doctor, though Malekster was a bit unexpected. Malekster seemed
like an alien bear, who was wearing a black suit and sunglasses
along with holding his two pistols. Neither of them seem to have
noticed Jack yet, and were more confused about their change in
where they were than about anyone nearby.
Alternate Doctor: What happened?! Where are we?! He says
frantically.
Malekster: I don't know. Malekster tries to stand in front of
the alternate Doctor, as though he were his bodyguard.
The thought of food for the first time in so many years makes
Ixas's stomach growl. Ixas: I forgot about food! It's been so
many years! He says jokingly.

Jack looks to both the Alternate Doctor and Malekster with a
look that is a look of relief and "not again". He clears his
throat a bit and speaks to the two gentlemen. Jack: Excuse me,
Doctor, but you are on an alternate Earth in the Torchwood
Institute. Care for a cup of tea, gentlemen?
Rosetta looks to Ixas and laughs softly as his stomach growls.
Rosetta: How about we stop by the kitchen and see about
something to eat for you. If it doesn't have a name on it in the
fridge, then it's fair game. Then we can rejoin Dufort, Jack,
and whoever they freed. Sound good?

The Alternate Doctor looks to Jack before motioning to
Malekster. Malekster holsters his weapons, and looks to Jack as
well.
Alternate Doctor: Alternate universe, huh? Makes sense. Explains
why we're in Kindron's office, but it's not his office. He says,
noticing the office they were in wasn't what they were used to.
It's weird being in this office and not seeing pictures of
Kindron and his wife and son on the walls...
Malekster: So Harkness is the head of Torchwood in another
universe? I didn't see that coming. He says, crossing his arms.
Ixas: That sounds great. He says with a smile.

Jack leans back in his chair and places his feet on his desk.
This feels weird but weird is normal in the daily life of
Torchwood. It's been a while since he last dealt with multiple
Doctors, but this is the first alternate Doctor. Jack: Well I
didn't expect a giant talking bear in a suit today, but hey,
just another day in Torchwood at this point. He then points to
the coffee maker and tea pot. Jack: Please feel free to help
yourselves to a cup of coffee or tea. I know that I'd be thirsty
after all that time locked away. Then you can tell me more about
your Torchwood Institute.
Rosetta: Come on. This way. Rosetta says with a smile and then
turns to lead Ixas. She then walks down the hallway to the
kitchen.

Alternate Doctor: You have no idea... I have no knowledge of the
passage of time, but I know I feel like I was hit by a truck. He
says sarcastically. The Alternate Doctor takes Jack's invitation
and makes himself some tea, while Malekster pours himself a cup
of coffee.
Alternate Doctor: In our universe, you're an agent of Torchwood,
but Torchwood is ran by Dr. Kindron Darkfire. He then looks
around as he sips his tea. After the previous leader retired,
Kindron Darkfire was brought over from the American FBI office
to run Torchwood with some help from me. In my universe, this is
his office. He explains.
Despite his hands being claws, Malekster handles his cup of
coffee with ease, and sips it. Malekster: Dr. Darkfire was head
of a number of groups, especially after the Order of the Dragon
invaded our universe. He was running the FBI, Russian Special
Forces, London Men of Letters, and Torchwood before we lost
Earth to the Celestian Fleet.
Ixas happily follows Rosetta to the kitchen, enjoying his
freedom, and being in three dimensions again.

Jack: Well our Kindron is a scientist of sorts, but he's not a
doctor. He also runs his own technology business, and yes, I
have considered making him an official agent of Torchwood since
he's here so often with Zelpharia. He says as he takes a sip of
his coffee. Jack: I do hope you don't mind that we have a good
Zelpharia. I've heard about the evil Zeph. Jack then makes a
joke. Jack: I also hope your Jack Harkness is as handsome as I
am.
Rosetta finally gets to the kitchen with Ixas and opens the
door. The smell of a typical kitchen wafts out. Rosetta: Here
you go, Ixas. Just remember to stay away from anything with a
name on it.

Alternate Doctor: I'll try. Though it will take a bit to get
used to. It's an alternate universe, so I know I have to get
used to things being different. As for the other you... I'd say
you are about the same in terms of looks and personality. He
says as he sits down and drinks his tea.
Malekster: Are the Celestians not conquerors in this universe?
He asks curiously, sipping his coffee.
Dufort then comes in with the alternate Wykoth, after having
freed him. Wykoth was still trying to adapt, and was having some
Tinnitus with his ears from being sealed away so long, evident
by him trying to get his ears to pop, as though coming off a
long flight.
Ixas: Will do. He says as he goes in and grabs some food and a
drink, making sure to avoid anything with names on it.

Jack: Well, I'm definitely glad to hear that I'm about the same
in your universe as I am here. He says to the Alternate Doctor
before taking a sip of his coffee. He then looks to Malekster.
Jack: They actually were conquerors at one point in their
history. Zelpharia of this universe lead the Great Exodus of
those who opposed the growing conqueror presence among the Time
Lords and formed the Celestian Free Democratic Federation near
this quadrant of space. Then she became a war hero during her
first incarnation during the Great War of Redemption which saw
all conquerors within the Time Lords either imprisoned or
executed. There is now two peaceful divisions of the Celestian
governments. There's the main Celestian Empire near the heart of
the universe and the Celestian Free Democratic Federation. Both
at peace since the day the Asgard brokered the peaceful
transition within the Celestian Empire after the Great War. Jack
speaks with the tone of someone who witnessed the events that he
talks about to Malekster.
Rosetta: Looks like that's a healthy meal. I can't even begin to
imagine how long you've gone without food. She says to Ixas with
a sympathetic smile.

Alternate Doctor: I see... In our universe, our Celestians were
always conquerors. Our Zelpharia is perhaps the most powerful
emperor the Celestians ever had, and they had alliances with the
other rival races like the Romulans and the Dogisians before
Gammon Tepes went back and time and made a new evolution called
the Wolfan. The Gallifreyans, the Vulcan, the Klingons, and the
humans formed an alliance in the Federation to counter the
Celestians and their allies. When Zelpharia married the vampire,
Alucard, they became like a plague, conquering and enslaving
every world they could. Zelpharia and I fought a number of
times. Though we did work together twice... Once against Wykoth.
And the other against Zelpharia's father, the Distortion King,
Omendai. But aside from those, we've been enemies with the
Celestians since before any of us can remember. He explains.
Dufort and Alternate Wykoth, who had just come back in, listened
to the explanation. Wykoth: Wow... Zelpharia as an evil
dictator? I can't even imagine that. In my world, Kindron and
Zelpharia were among the kindest people I ever met. I couldn't
imagine either one of them being evil. Alucard... Yeah, I can
see him being evil. He says jokingly.
Ixas smiles and starts eating. Ixas: I lost track of how long
it's been hundreds of years ago. He says jokingly as he starts
eating and drinking from the food he'd grabbed.

Jack: The history of Celestians here is complicated. It's a tale
of an empire divided between conquerors and freedom fighters.
When the conquering Time Lords were in charge, the freedom
fighters escaped with a few million Celestians with the help of
the Asgard. Those freedom fighters founded the Celestian
Democratic Federation. That federation took on the empire and
defeated the conquerors, killing most and imprisoning the
others. There hasn't been another Celestian warlord ever since.
Zelpharia was one of the ones to lead the freedom fighters in
the charge against the empire. Jack says in return to the Doctor
about London universe Celestian history. He then takes a sip of
coffee and looks to Alternate Wykoth. Jack: I agree about not
being able to envision Zeph as evil. She's as sweet as a
scientist can get here in this universe. Kindron keeps her
distracted when I don't have her out on a case.
Rosetta: Wow! That is a long time. Well, glad you found
something to eat in there. Let's get back to Jack's office and
figure out our next moves. Rosetta says with a smile. She then
turns and begins to head back to Jack's office.
