Dufort looks at Jack curiously. Dufort: What time lord? He says
curiously. Since he had just brought back Wykoth, and Gammon
said his mother was in a black hole, Dufort was a bit confused
as to who Jack could mean.
T-800: If the Crow Mercenaries have requested assistance, then I
will go to assist them. He says.
Ixas: Sounds like mine in a lot of ways. Except mine was a human
turned angel. And he was the head of his own team at the SI
(Supernatural Investigations) unit at the FBI. Great guy, if not
a little pretentious at times. He loves inflating his ego when
it comes to his writing his psychology books. He then smiles. I
actually got to be the subject of his alien psychology book. Not
a bad read if I say so myself.

Jack gets an equally confused look towards Dufort. Jack: Okay,
so maybe it's someone trapped in Time Lord technology. All I
know is that Rosetta took that picture to the lab to see if she
can set the poor guy free. It's been hell around here lately,
and this old man gets confused easily lately because of the
chaos. Jack says with a calm, almost jocular tone of voice.
Jack: She's heading to the main lab if you want to catch up,
Dufort. He then looks to T-800. Jack: Then remind me to keep
Vladimir away from the Crow mercenaries.
Rosetta: My brother doesn't have an inflated ego that I know of.
My nephew, Kendrix, on the other hand does but well deserved
with his accomplishments in technology and combat. He always
enjoys a good ego stroking. She says with a bit of a laugh as
they approach the main lab door. She then punches in a code into
the keypad and the door opens. Rosetta: As for book writing, I'm
not sure if Kindron would have the focus to write one. Sure,
he'll finish a technology project but writing would probably be
a distraction from his work currently.

Dufort: Oh... I'm sure they'll be back once Rosetta releases him
from the picture. As for that guy. He said he could help us
against the alternate Celestians like Gammon. I don't know him
at all. The message I got from the future didn't tell me to
ignore or take the picture and the pot he told me to take, so I
had to make a judgement call. I calculated it was more likely
they'd be of use to us than not. He says, pointing to the sealed
pot that had a time lord in it as well. He walks over to the
egg, and puts his hand on it, looking it over. This was what I
went for. Wykoth from my world is in here. I spent years trying
to find a way to rescue him.
Ixas: My Kindron always had terrible concentration. He could
only get things done when he was juggling multiple projects at
once. It was like he could only concentrate while multi-tasking.
But you have a Kendrix too, huh? I'm guessing he's not Kindron's
little brother in this universe? Is he still head of Black Sun?
Kindron's brother wasn't my favorite person, but at least he was
useful at times and was at least someone who tried to protect
people in his own twisted way. I'd rather work with Kindron's
twin brother, Hei, and he was a jerk fanatical priest... He
explains.

Jack listens to Dufort carefully while studying each item
carefully. Jack: Well we'll figure out if that guy will be
helpful or not once we get him out. If he's not useful, then
we'll figure out what to do or just put him back. Jack looks to
the pot with a curious look as it's not Time Lord technology
that he recognizes. Jack: Zeph might be able to help free
whoever is trapped in the pot, but that isn't technology that I
recognize unlike the egg. He says to Dufort with a matter of
fact tone of voice and points to the egg when mentioned. Jack:
The egg that your Wykoth is stuck in looks exactly like the one
that this universe's Wykoth was locked in. Zeph would definitely
be able to help with that one. Just promise me that your Wykoth
isn't a loose cannon.
Rosetta: My brother is basically the same way when it comes to
concentration. I've lost count of how many projects he and my
mom are currently working on in the lab. Of course we have
enough unknown alien technology that he could lock himself away
for a couple of decades. She says to Ixas with a bit of humor
towards the end. Rosetta: As for the family side, Kindron is the
oldest brother in this universe while Hei is the second oldest
if I remember correctly. Kendrix is Hei's son from a future that
no longer exist and now runs Black Sun. Hei has the Sabbat and
the League of Assassins. Now mind you that I might be a
Darkfire, but I only just found out that I'm a Darkfire and
still learning that side of the family. Rosetta says with a
thoughtful look. Rosetta: I will say that your Kindron and my
Kindron sound like they would get along while your Hei and my
Hei might butt heads.

Dufort: The jar isn't tech... I'm pretty sure it's a ki
technique that sealed someone in there. If you just remove the
Talisman sealing the lid on the jar, you should be able to free
whatever or whoever is inside. He says about the jar. As for
Wykoth... No. He's not a loose canon. He's different from your
universe's Wykoth, or at least from the stories mom mentioned.
He spent years with my father training to control his mental
state after my father helped him get rid of his darker
personality. He looks at the egg. It is similar. The only thing
different are these weird leather straps. But those are simple
enough to remove if we flood them with enough energy. I could do
that pretty easily.
Ixas: Your Kindron would definitely get along with mine. I just
wish I still had copies of my Kindron's psychology books. If
your Kindron is anything like mine, he'd love the books mine
wrote on supernatural psychology. And I hope your Kendrix isn't
as much of a snake as mine. We could never trust our Kendrix.
Your Hei is also different from mine... Our Hei ran the church
in our universe. Although he was an assassin before he joined
the church, so maybe yours is not so different from how our Hei
used to be. He says the last part in thought.

Jack: Well, I'm glad your Wykoth isn't a loose cannon. Just be
careful when flooding anything with energy. I've learned that
even leather straps can turn explosive when already charged with
a spell or kanji symbol of power. Jack says as he relaxes in his
chair. He then opens a desk drawer and pulls out a key. Jack: As
a matter of fact, use the blast room. It's specially reinforced
to contain most forms of explosions including supernatural.
Rosetta: I guarantee that my brother would love your Kindron's
books. He's a bit of a bookworm like that. As for Kendrix, my
nephew seems like a genuinely good kid but willing to fight
dirty when pushed. We do have a Father Hei who's in charge of
the Iscariot Group. He comes from another universe like yourself
and Dufort. She says as she gets to the lab with the Time Lord
technology in it. She opens the door and turns on a light inside
of the lab. Rosetta: Well, here we are. One of the labs that we
have here at Torchwood. How about we set free what has been
trapped.

Dufort takes the key. Dufort: It shouldn't explode, but I'll use
it anyway just to be safe. He says as he picks up the egg and
holds the key. I'll let you release whatever is in the pot. I'll
leave him here just in case. He says, tapping the chest of the
T-800.
Ixas: I can't believe I'm going to be three dimensional again.
I've almost forgotten what it feels like to perceive depth. He
says jokingly.

Jack looks at the pot with a bit of suspicion but then shrugs.
What's the worse that could happen. He gets killed and just
comes back to life. Jack: Okay, I'll open the pot but with
handcuffs on hand just in case whoever is in there isn't
friendly. Jack then grins a bit. Jack: I know I would be grumpy
if I've been locked away like this. He then looks at T-800 but
speaks to Dufort. Jack: And thanks for leaving the big guy. He
might be handy.
Rosetta is quick to locate a device that looks like a camera and
heads over to it. Rosetta: Well you'll be free in just a few
moments. She says as she grabs the Time Lord camera. Rosetta
then carefully places Ixas on the floor and checks the setting
on the camera. She was taught how to use such a camera by her
mother and another Time Lord called the Photographer. Rosetta:
It's been a while since I used one of these, but I remember my
lessons fairly well. She lifts the camera. Rosetta: Say freedom.
She then presses the button and a beam of golden light hits Ixas
and sets him free of his prison.

Dufort: I'll be back in a few minutes. He says, taking the egg
with him, leaving Jack with the pot and the T-800, who was
standing silently.
As Ixas is freed from the picture, he stands for a moment. He
smiles and spins around, enjoying the feeling of three
dimensions for the first time in many years. He spins so much he
falls over, but was smiling as he gets up. Ixas: Wow... Being
dizzy never felt so good! He says happily.

Jack: Alright, Dufort. Jack then stands up and carefully picks
up the pot. Jack carries it to the middle of the room. He makes
sure that his Webley Revolver is on his side as he carefully
places the pot on the ground. Jack then opens the pot up
carefully and steps back. Jack: I hope that I don't regret this.
Rosetta laughs a bit as Ixas spins around and falls down dizzy.
She then shakes her head a bit and smiles. Rosetta: I bet
feeling dizzy is great after how long you've been locked away.
Wait until you get some food in you.
