"You're going to give your big hero speech, I can feel it."
~Yelena to her sister Natasha.
Yelena, seeing herself strapped onto a carrier and was about to
be vivisected in the Red Room. "This is a much less cool way to
die."
After narrowly escaping an enemy, Natasha and Yelena hides out
in a vent where Yelena use a cloth to stop the bleeding on her
arm.
Natasha: You okay?
Yelena: sarcastically: Yeah, great plan. I love the part where I
almost bled to death.
Natasha: Wait, you can't just steal a guy's car!
Yelena: What, so you want me to chase him down and un-steal it?
Yelena mouthed ow and shook her hand in pain when the enemy
prevented her from killing her target by throwing a projectile
at Yelena's hand
Yelena Belova: That really hurts!
Enemy: Yeah. Yeah, well, so did the kick to the ribs.
Yelena Belova: Oh, yeah. That was a good one. That was good
form. But you did the really cool body throw. Yeah.
Enemy: Yeah, thank you. Thank you. Stop making me like you.
Yelena Belova: I'm sorry, I can't help it. That was really fun.
After breaking Alexei from prison and they escaped an avalanche,
Yelena punches Alexei in the face
Alexei: Why the aggression, huh? Is it your time of the month?
Yelena: I don't get my period, dipshit. I don't have a uterus.
Natasha: Or ovaries.
Yelena: notice the look Aleski made Yeah. That's what happens
when the Red Room gives you an involuntary hysterectomy. They
kind of just go in and they rip out all of your reproductive
organs. They just get right in there and they chop them all
away. Everything out, so you can't have babies.
Aleski: Okay, okay. Okay! Okay! You don't have to get so
clinical and nasty.
Yelena: I was about to talk about fallopian tubes, but okay.
Natasha: All that time that I spent posing, I was trying to
actually do something good to make up for all the pain and
suffering that we caused. Trying to be more than just a trained
killer.
Yelena: Well, then you were fooling yourself because pain and
suffering is every day and we are both still a trained killer.
Except I'm not the one that's on the cover of a magazine. I'm
not the killer that little girls call their hero.
Yelena: You just didn't want your baby sister to tag along,
whilst you saved the world with the cool kids.
Natasha: You weren't really my sister.
Yelena: And the Avengers aren't really your family.
"It's hard work. It's hard finding them. It's... It's hard
watching them wake. But it's so worth it."
~Yelena Belova to Milos Sojikov during one of her missions to
free one of the Black Widow agents.
"I did not try to kill you. A, I put you on a wire to remove an
obstacle. And B, I did not break anything. I'm more professional
than that."
~Yelena Belova to someone who accused Yelena for breaking into a
building and trying to kill them.
Yelena: So, M and Hawkeye you told me about. But who's the young
man here? You never told me about him. picks up a photo frame
and shows it to Natasha, her finger pointing at Theodore
Velazquez, who is with M and Hawkeye during a night out in
bowling.
Natasha: Oh. That's Theodore Velazquez. Agent Pride adopted him
a couple months back. The poor kid was in that damn Weapon X
organization.
Yelena: So he's just like us. Taken away from his family and was
made a weapon.
Natasha: Except for the mind control. Though I've heard that
they have other... methods of making them obey. Not to mention
that they actually make child soldiers.
Yelena: That's... Oh my God, I can't even find the words to
describe it. And they're more of them?
Natasha: Yes. Clint and I are trying to free more of them but...
it's not so easy.
Yelena: I want to help. We can't let people like them get away
with this.
Natasha: I know and we will.
Coldly place a gun on a badly beaten member of a Moskovskaya
Orda gang who happens to be a demon.
Yelena: I would let you go but after what you've done to that
innocent family, I had to make you suffer first. Tell that mudak
Darkov that if he ever come after my sister again, then I will
personally send his ass to Hell myself and will make sure that
he stays lock up in there. Oh, and if he tries anything with my
godson Theodore, then I'll start by shooting his balls off.
Natasha: So... how was your time with the guys.
Yelena: It was nice. Oh, and I'm officially Theo's godmother.
Natasha: blinks Wait a minute, since when?
Yelena: Since the moment I met him. People will have to deal
with it. And whoever tries to harm him will wish that I killed
them.
Natasha: side eyes Okay then.
Yelena, you went on to become the greatest child assassin the
world has ever known. No one can match your efficiency, your
ruthlessness."

Master Martial Artist:
~Belova is an extremely skilled and formidable hand-to-hand
combatant and martial artist, having been gone through the
training of the Red Room since young age in order to become a
Widow, making her one of the most dangerous and best fighters on
the planet. She was able to fight Natasha Romanoff evenly,
matching her move for move before they had a truce. During the
fight she employed a wide variety of throws and locks. Compared
to Romanoff's more acrobatic style of fighting, Belova has a
more direct and hands-on way of fighting that seems heavily
influenced by Sambo, including combat styles such as Systema,
Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Karatê, Hapkido, Taekwondo, Kali, Aikido
and Krav Maga. Belova is able to quickly use her surroundings to
her advantage and use random items as improvised weaponry. She
was also able to easily fight off several surgeons at once while
escaping the Red Room, and was able to quickly incapacitate a
guard by disorientating him and sweeping his legs out from under
him. Yelena was able to easily outclass Kate Bishop, while
simultaneously being able to keep up with, and sometimes even
gain the upper hand against, the extremely skilled and
experienced martial artist Maya Lopez. Belova is also very
physically strong and resilient, as she could flip her sister
into a wall with one leg and lift a demon over her head and
throw her off a building. Belova also has very good reflexes,
being able to catch a bottle of hot sauce that an enemy threw at
her head.
Knife Mastery:
~As a Black Widow, Belova is highly skilled at using a knife in
combat, being able to use it to quickly kill a former Widow and
later use it in her fight against Romanoff. Belova was also able
to quickly throw a two-inch blade into a Red Room surgeon's back
with great accuracy while making her escape.
Staff Mastery:
~As a Black Widow, Belova is highly skilled at using a staff in
combat.
Master Marksman:
~Belova is highly skilled and well-trained in firearms,
including pistols, sniper rifles and grenade launchers. She
could target the tower of the Russian gulag from a long
distance.
Master Acrobat:
~As a Black Widow, Belova is highly skilled in incorporating
gymnastics and acrobatics into her fighting style as she battles
opponents. She has been very flexible since a young age, as she
could already assume the upward bow position at the age of six.
Master Spy:
~Having trained in the Red Room, Belova is highly skilled in
infiltration and spycraft. She created a detailed, extensive
background story for her absent family.
Master Assassin:
~As a Black Widow, Belova is a extremely skilled assassin, being
able to kill her targets with incredible efficiency. She has
killed many people while she was under the control of the Red
Room, including Oksana. Belova also attempted to assasinate
Clint Barton, as she was instructed to by Valentina Allegra de
Fontaine.
Pilot:
~Belova was capable of copiloting a helicopter with Natasha
Romanoff, and piloting the helicopter by herself when Romanoff
left to help Red Guardian.
Multilingualism:
~Belova is fluent in her native Russian, as well as English and
Hungarian.
Supernatural Exorcism, Weakness and Trap Training:
~Of course, every supernatural hunter has to learn how to do
things like exorcisms, and use traps for certain types of races.
From their training as well as their experience, demons were
trained heavily in how to trap and contain supernaturals mostly
through Enochian knowledge and spells/sigils of demonic design.
They are taught things like how to draw angel traps, how to
build traps for other supernaturals, or how to lure out
supernaturals if they try to hide. They are also taught all
manners of exorcisms, from exorcising demons, to using Enochian
sigils to cast out angels and fallen angels, and sometimes how
to trap enemy demons. Of course, as many demons have had plenty
of practice and experience, they also eventually developed
experience with it over time, and can learn new ways to take on
supernaturals thanks to experimentation with their abilities and
knowing how to combine certain exorcisms and abilities.
Depending on what's available, some demons can come up with new
ways to take on supernaturals, and this works even better when
paired with their exorcism abilities, in which they often use a
combination of exorcism and combat when taking on things like
angels.
Yelena is not a supernatural hunter but learned how to be one in
order to defend herself and hunt down supernatural creatures.
Murderous Intent Sense:
~This lets those with this sense when an attack is coming,
usually by being able to tell when someone has the intent to
kill. This is a skill most warriors get by fighting constantly
for many years, learning how to sense someone's murderous intent
usually through encountering it first-hand enough that they
start to develop a strange sense that lets them read people and
be able to tell when someone has the intention to kill. This
lets the user read their environment as well as the people
around them in order to see what attacks might be coming their
way by reading an opponent's body language and the "sense" of
people around them. This gives them a passive sense of reading
people who might try to hurt them, as they can sense when
someone is ready to attack, and most people can usually sense
when that murderous intent is aimed at them. Some can sense this
literally as an aura through things like ki sense, but most
sense it in an instinctive way once their instincts have been
developed through constant fighting and battles. This gives the
user time to predict an attack, and to some extent, helps the
person predict what opponents will do in a fight by reading
their murderous intent. For example, by reading an opponent's
body language, such as how they move or how tense they might be,
a user of this can read opponents movements in order to predict
how they will fight or attack, as some have developed entire
fighting styles predicting people through this method, such as
the Hiten Mitsurugi sword style that uses this to predict
opponents. However, this sense is not perfect, and some
opponents can't be read if they can disguise their murderous
intent or they learn skills that can trick people with this
sense. Those who have no ability to feel emotions also don't
give off this murderous intent, as those who don't have emotions
don't feel the intent to kill. This sense is usually pretty
reliable unless one can suppress their murderous intent, and is
usually instinctive among people who have seen a lot of battle
and those that have fought for their lives multiple times. The
only real way to develop this is experience, as no amount of
training can truly grasp how this sense truly works as it is
only a passive ability that one can pick up by experiencing
murderous intent firsthand from enough people that they learn to
recognize the murderous intent in the feelings they get from
people.
Weaknesses:
Despite how skilled and tough she is, Yelena is still human and
is capable of being killed by any other humans means such as
falling from a very all building, getting shot in the head or
literally being ripped apart by a supernatural creature. Another
way is if someone highly skilled being able to beat Yelena in
physical combat since not many can match her. Using her family
against her is also a huge weakness to Yelena since she cares
for her family deeply, especially her sister Natasha despite her
not being related by blood.
Weapons:
Black Widow's Batons:
~Belova briefly utilized Black Widow's Batons during the
Destruction of the Red Room. Belova combined the batons into a
staff and then plunged into the propellor of General Dreykov's
helicopter, breaking the propeller and causing the helicopter to
explode, killing Dreykov and his remaining soldiers. She later
used her own when they got upgraded with varanium and silver to
harm supernatural creatures and those with regeneration.
Black Widow's Bite:
~An electroshock weapon that function as two shaped bracelets
worn by the user, that can deliver powerful electrical
discharges. Each bracelet is marked with blue lights from
electrical capacitors and electrical wiring that appear when
activated and allow their wielder to electrocute enemies by
making contact with a pair of electrical probes. The bite also
has a grappling hook, taser disc shootings, electrical blasts,
garrote and taser batons.
Combat Knife:
~Yelena used a combat knife to kill a rouge Widow. She later
used a karambit style knife to escape and kill the Red Room
attendants. She later upgraded the knives with uldrium for those
with elemental powers and varanium for those with regeneration
powers..
Throwing Knives:
~Yelena carries serval throwing knives on her left thigh.
Glock 26:
~Belova's preferred weapon is a subcompact pistol. She aimed it
at her sister when they reunited after 21 years, but Romanoff
swiftly disarmed her. She continued to use her pistol during her
campaign to liberate other Black Widows. Thanks to the Bravta,
her gun is anti-magnetic along with her having cases of
different bullets for different enemies both mundane and
supernatural.
Personality:
Having spent most of her life in the Red Room, Yelena Belova is
a cynical person with a very sarcastic, deadpan sense of humor,
with a bit of a bent moral compass as she notably had no problem
holding a civilian at gunpoint and stealing his car to evade
from pursuers, much to Natasha Romanoff's chagrin. Despite this,
Belova does have a strong sense of right and wrong, having no
problem with helping Natasha take down the Red Room and freeing
the Black Widows from being held against their will. Having felt
abandoned by her family, Belova notably has a strained
relationship with her adoptive parents and older sister, telling
them outright how betrayed they made her feel when none of them
came back for her. Despite this, Belova still cared and loved
them, admitting to Melina Vostokoff that to her she will always
be her mother, and telling Alexei Shostakov that he meant
everything to her as a child.
