Community Special Race: The Seiji (Update)
"We Seiji have no home. We are wanderers cursed to wander this
world forever. We can't go to Hell... Purgatory cannot hold us
because of how similar we are to humans... And the doors of
Heaven are closed to us demonic creatures. And even the Seiji
are not desperate enough to seek Xeles's or Malice's realm. We
Seiji just have to keep going as long as we can, and hope that
our ethers find somewhere to go someday." - Alathen Kazara
"You humans are lucky... You have a choice to choose what you
want to be, light or dark. We Seiji were never given a choice.
Count yourselves lucky. We are more adaptable than you are, but
you have options to abilities we will never have access to
because you have the choice." - Alathen Kazara about his race
compared to humans
"We used to worship Satan as the king of demons, and Lucifer as
the god of demons. But after they ordered our destruction, you
can probably guess we weren't too happy with them. Any plans we
had to set up the Church of Lucifer went up in hellfire." - A
seiji about their views on Satan and Lucifer

Bio: When humans were created during the heaven/hell wars, not
many know that hell tried to create their own version of humans,
thanks to King Satan trying his hand at creation. The result was
a demonic anti-thesis of humans, which would come to be known as
Seiji. The Seiji were originally meant to battle humanity, with
the winner becoming the dominant species of earth. In order to
build up the Seiji as best they could, demons that were in
charge of training the Seiji split the Seiji into groups.
Because the idea was to create diversity when the Seiji started
reproducing, each group would be taught or empowered by a
specific type of ability, with all the groups having different
abilities. This would eventually lead to the Seiji considering
their groups as part of their family. Each group had a unique
trait, which was meant to combine with other Seiji traits to
create diversity when the Seiji started reproducing. For
example, the Kazara family at this point is well known to have
dragon energy which was infused into them as a result of their
own specialty. And not many know of other families, such as the
Entei family who was empowered with hollow corruption and the
Torzoth family who became Caliburn Users (essentially Seiji
versions of spirit users). The Seiji went through a lot of
torture and training in hell, which built up their adaptability
and their abilities to a level that was supposed to make them
very difficult to beat.
However, when the Heaven/Hell wars ended before the Seiji could
be deployed to earth, the Seiji were no longer a good option for
the demons to utilize on earth without starting a new
heaven/hell war on earth. The agreements led to Heaven and Hell
decommissioning all the weapons they had made for the war, and
to have any creatures made by either side no longer be fighting.
This meant that the Seiji would no longer be needed to try and
take over the world, as demons no longer needed to fight humans.
This led to King Satan giving the order to have all the Seiji
killed, in which the Seiji were hunted down by demons and were
to be killed since Hell didn't need them anymore. Many Seiji
were killed in the process, but many also escaped into the
living world, where they would start hiding among humans. The
Seiji that escaped would go on to live lives of seclusion, where
most would choose not to get involved in any conflicts. The
Seiji would continue to build their power, experimenting and
learning new abilities as they started to study all the negative
powers humanity had learned, and some of the powers that were
meant for them that were never actually given to them. For
example, one family of Seiji gained demonic vampire abilities
through the vampire curse, which granted the family enhanced
vampire abilities stronger than that of normal vampires.
However, their peaceful lives would come to a halt when the
first Seiji since Hell's attempt to wipe them out would die.
Grissom Torzoth, a Seiji Caliburn user, would be hunted down and
killed by the Church, after Grissom had been accused of demon
worshiping by Church members. There were to major events to come
of this. The first was that Hell would come to realize that
there were Seiji that were still alive, and living in the living
world. This would lead demon-kind to start a hunt for the Seiji
in order to finish their job of killing the Seiji, and led to
the Seiji having to go even further into hiding to avoid demons
hunting them down. The second was that the death wraith who took
the Seiji ether had no idea what to do with it. Because Seiji
ethers weren't considered souls, the death wraith didn't
consider the Seiji a normal being. Up to that point, there was
no place in the afterlife for Seiji, due to the fact no races
knew the Seiji existed before then, and didn't have a place for
them. This included there being no place in the Hall of Souls.
The Seiji were not able to be kept in Purgatory because they
were human enough they could escape using the human's escape
path built into purgatory to avoid human souls getting stuck
there. And of course a demonic being couldn't go to Heaven, and
Hell was not somewhere Seiji could go because they were born in
hell. As a result, the death wraith ended up throwing Grissom
Torzoth into the void, where he would be cast into Malice's
territory. This angered the Seiji considerably, in which even
they knew the dangers of dealing with those like Malice and the
realm of Xeles.
This led to the Seiji being very upset and they started hating
the death wraiths as a result. While the Hall of Souls did
eventually add in a section for Seiji ethers once it became
known, the death wraith that had thrown the Seiji into the void
would be hunted down and killed by the Seiji, especially after
the death wraith council had agreed with the reasoning of the
death wraith believing there was no where else to send the Seiji
ether. As a result, the Seiji prepared to go against the death
wraith order. However, Drakath Altaire would be the one who
would manage to quell the fighting, as Drakath offered the Seiji
the chance to join him in his own rebellion to change the death
wraith order for the better so that incidents like Grissom would
not happen again. In addition, the Seiji were now having to hide
from demons again, as demons had started hunting the Seiji. As a
result, some of the Seiji helped Drakath when Drakath chose to
rebel against the death wraiths, with some like Aeron Kazara
being loyal to Drakath even when Drakath tried to take over the
living world (before he would be stopped by Kierran). There were
some Seiji that stayed on their own, but there were also many
who chose to side with Drakath (though many that sided with
Drakath were killed during his rebellion at the hands of Keirran
Black's team, who helped fight off Drakath's team and his
rebellion with help from other teams loyal to the death wraith
council.
After the rebellion failed, those on earth would continue to
live their lives in secret, trying to avoid death wraiths and
avoid demons. Over the years, Seiji would continue growing in
power, building themselves up as they trained and developed new
abilities. They would also come to master their unique
abilities, and keep their abilities secretive so that very few
if any would ever come to know about them. And since Seiji were
solitary, not wanting to interact with mortals, almost no
hybrids were ever born since Seijis didn't see friendship and
companionship the same way as humans did. Since Seiji were those
that tried to keep away from others and didn't trust other
beings outside of the Seiji, the Seiji rarely ever interacted
with others. This lead to almost no hybrids ever being born of
Seiji, and most Seiji never reproduced with each other, due to
the fact that many saw it as a manipulation of hell to try and
bind them to each other so that hell could more easily control
them. The Seiji would continue to live on their own, and would
develop a number of ways to avoid others that they might be a
threat to them.
However, a few years ago, Crowley struck a deal with the Seiji
that would change the Seiji and the relations with the demons
(somewhat). While demons still wouldn't let them near hell,
Crowley would help build up the Seiji further, as he started
giving them access to his library of information he'd gathered
that could help the Seiji better themselves. When the The'Galin
conflict arose, heaven and hell started searching for any help
they could get since both groups were working together for the
first time in all of creation. As a result, Crowley striking a
deal would end the demons hunt for Seiji, and Seiji would start
working alongside demons and angels to help battle the
The'Galin. Of course, most Seiji wouldn't work openly, as many
stayed hidden and helped them from the shadows, or they would
help them in secret. Some like Alathen Kazara, would take a more
direct approach, in which they would directly interact with
allies. These days, most Seiji still remain secret, and try to
avoid anyone that might try to do them harm. However, with
Crowley now trying to build up the Seiji as his own personal
ally, Crowley has earned the trust of most of the Seiji and most
of them now freely use Crowley's library for information about
abilities they can use to better their own power. Some Seiji
families have banded together in recent years though, such as
the Daolon Monks who are a group of Seiji dark chi users who
have banded together to create their own temple similar to how
the Shaolin have.
Race: The Seiji are their own race, created in hell. They are
essentially demonic humans, made to be as adaptable as possible,
and are quite a bit more powerful than an average human. As one
might imagine, most of their abilities are demonic in nature,
and they even have powers they have modeled after demonic
abilities. In addition, each Seiji family has their own
specialty, which is different for each family (IE The Kazara
family has dragon energy and the Entei family has demonic hollow
power). The Seiji do have a number of differences in their
physiology though than most humans have. For example, those
familiar with Seiji know that Seiji don't process emotions the
same way humans do, as their default emotions are cold and angry
since it is their default state. Seiji utilize anger, hatred and
rage to grow stronger, and they don't actually see things like
friendship or love the same way humans do. Seiji don't really
"love" so much as just tolerate others. For the most part, in
the same way anger and hatred cause problems for humans and
hinders them, positive emotions also cause problems for Seiji
and can hinder them. Seiji have demonic natures that are meant
to be used with negative power, and they specialize in this
power. It is very rare to see Seiji hybrids, and very few
natural born Seiji exist (though a few do exist here and there).
For the most part, most Seiji don't care for companionship with
others, and most of the time don't even interact with each other
unless they have to. For the most part, the only Seiji that
still exist are those that escaped hell long ago. However, there
are some like Aeron Kazara who have played around with the idea
of creating new Seiji, but so far, other Seiji have completely
hated this, as they don't want to create more of themselves
unless they absolutely have to.
Seiji Weapons:
- Seiji Demon Knife: Many Seiji have made special demonic
knives, designed solely for close combat. These knives can be
many shapes depending on the Seiji and what they prefer. This
weapon is not only made with normal materials though, but is
infused with Seiji magic. Using runes carved into the blade,
Seiji demon knives are designed to kill most kinds of creatures.
When a Seiji knife is used, a being can have their regeneration
interrupted, where these knives can be used to kill many kinds
of creatures. This could kill vampires and werewolves, to even
being able to kill angels and demons. And with the Seiji magic
infused into the blade, Seiji can even focus their unique
energies through their blades to use in battle. The biggest one
is that Seiji often focus their Cethran energy through the
blade, where they can fire it like a stream of lightning at an
opponent, even while stabbing an opponent. These knives are a
Seiji's main weapon in combat when they wish to use weapons, and
some even make different kinds of weapons such as staves,
spears, or even swords depending on the person. Some may focus
more on other abilities, or some may focus more on their basic
energy abilities. These knives are very useful in combat,
usually designed based on the Seiji's individual fighting style.
If the Seiji specializes in throwing knives, they may make a
collection of these to throw at opponents, or close combat users
have been known to make metal knuckles around the handle for a
Seiji to punch enemies with. While useful though, these knives
are not able to kill everything that a Seiji might encounter.
These knives are far from being similar to death scythes like
some might think. While this is meant to kill most normal
supernaturals with regeneration and was tailored specifically to
angels and demons, this cannot kill higher level beings, such as
deities and archangels/demon prince level opponents. However, in
order to interrupt regeneration, physical contact must also be
made with the blade through either a stab or cut usually. Seiji
do use these effectively, but these knives are not meant to be
the final weapons a Seiji will use, and many Seiji often have
other weapons as well.
Seiji Physiology:
- Seiji Body/Physiology: Most people aren't too familiar with
Seiji unless they have specifically encountered one, as the ones
that survived the Heaven/Hell war didn't really get too involved
with other races affairs. The Seiji stayed secret, so they
purposefully stay unknown to most races. The Seiji were a race
that was designed by demons to be their version of humans and
granted most of the same abilities as humans but from a demonic
perspective, as well as the Seiji being created to take
advantage of their evil and demonic nature whereas humans were
meant more for holy power. They share most of the same
physiology, but their energies are reversed from humans so they
have a demonic nature with Seiji having an almost purely
negative nature, and the way they process certain emotions are
very different from humans. The main thing was that demons tried
to transfer was human adaptability when making the Seiji,
something they managed to do better than they expected. When
torturing them in hell to build their durability, the Seiji
gained powerful adaptability, far more than many other races.
And when combined with their other abilities, many Seiji are
very difficult to kill, as many have enhanced bodies that can
take stronger hits, but also have demonic regeneration thanks to
their demonic skills they developed while living on earth. The
Seiji are extremely tough creatures, and have sought to evolve
much more than humans have in order to realize their full
potential, enough that Seiji are often known to be able to take
on entire groups of supernaturals with almost no problem. Their
energies are similar to humans, but are demonic opposites, such
as having dark mana instead of normal mana, or having demonic
chi instead of normal human chi. They also don't have a positive
nature (which does hurt them because they are purely negative
nature and positive natures do more damage to them). When
dealing with Seiji in battle, demon killing weapons are often
very useful against them, as demon killing weapons kill Seiji
thanks to their demonic nature (and a successful attack with
such a weapon can result in temporarily negating a Seiji's
demonic regeneration).
- Demonic Potential Unleashed: When it comes to Seiji, it is no
secret that they are demonic in nature. Unlike humans who have
both light and dark natures, Seiji only have their demonic
origin. Seiji have made use of their demonic origin, and learned
to unlock the power their demonic origin grants by training
their bodies and power over the years. By doing this, the Seiji
have done a few things with this potential, and have evolved
over the years to utilize their demonic potential to the utmost.
The first is that Seiji have unlocked a full spectrum of demonic
abilities, where they have gained almost all the abilities of a
demon with exception to demonic regeneration (as they weren't
made to regenerate). The Seiji have full access to their demonic
power and natures, and have evolved to be able to utilize their
demonic natures in almost every part of their power. Almost
every part of a Seiji has demonic power, in which even their
bodies are designed to take advantage of their demonic heritage.
For example, there are many of their body's systems that are
designed to utilize demonic power, in which the Seiji have
seemingly brought out the demonic power in their physiology,
such as how their nervous system runs on demon energy
manipulated by the mind, rather than using electrical signals
like humans. Seiji also have a lot of ways to convert nutrients
and things in the body to demonic energy or demonic power, as
their bodies have enhanced features that make them a bit
different from their human counterparts. Some more powerful
Seiji have even unlocked higher level demonic power, where some
of them have turned the demonic energy in their bodies into
demon aura or other advanced demonic energies instead of using
normal demon energy. Depending on the skill of the Seiji, some
have stronger potential than others depending on their skills,
as some may have stronger demonic power, while some may focus
more on their family's special abilities. However, while this
does open up the Seiji to the full ability of their demonic
nature, it does increase their weakness to holy power, in which
Seiji take far more damage from holy power, and with their
demonic natures, demon killing weapons and angel blades can kill
them far more easily as a result.
- Seiji DMNA (Demon Multi-Nucleonic Acid) and RDNA (Ribo Demon
Nucleonic Acid): Seiji have their own version of DNA and RNA,
just like humans, with a few exceptions that make them different
from humans. The first thing to note is that instead of DNA,
Seiji have DMNA (Demon Multi-Nucleic Acid). Much like DNA, Seiji
DMNA contained the instructions and genetic codes for Seiji. In
the way DNA forms and determines traits in humans, Seiji DMNA
actually does the same thing. However, there is one major
difference, and that is that is that Seiji DMNA has a four helix
setup, where each DMNA is essentially two DNAs that cross in the
middle. By doing this, Seiji DMNA has more ability to store more
information. The next thing to note is RDNA, which is the Seiji
version of RNA. Seiji RDNA works much like human DNA where it
makes protein that carries out specific tasks, except for one
thing. The RDNA modifies certain DMNA traits as the RDNA adapts
to situations. For example, if a Seiji ends up in a new
environment, a Seiji could adapt as their RDNA writes adapted
information into the Seiji's DMNA. Seiji MRNA has been known to
adapt to many situations, in which Seiji can usually adapt far
more easily than humans in a lot of cases. For example, in one
case, a group of Seiji who were raised in the water actually had
their MRNA create new pockets in the lungs to process water like
gills and allow those Seiji to actually breathe in water. While
DMNA and RDNA work fairly similarly to humans, these differences
make the Seiji's bodies a bit different, but the DMNA is still
the code that essentially holds all the traits for Seiji in the
same way DNA does for humans. And due to Seiji having slightly
different body structures and having different components in
their body, their DMNA and RDNA does require some understanding
of differences in Seiji and human physiology, so those that
don't know about Seiji specifically probably won't know about
Seiji. Like humans, Seiji DNA can be attacked, though with their
enhanced immune system, it is rare to see Seiji succumb to
diseases that attack their DMNA or their RDNA (more later). Of
course, this is a demonic type creation, and can be more easily
damaged by holy power (a safeguard demons put in to prevent
Seiji from turning to Heaven), so a lot of Seiji's vulnerability
to holy power causing damage to their bodies is due to how their
RDNA and DMNA reacts to trying to adapt to holy power.
- Seiji DMNA Adaptability: The Seiji are designed to be demonic
humans, and as such, are designed to take advantage of what many
consider human's greatest advantage, which is their adaptability
to handle different environments and different abilities. Seiji
are just as adaptable as humans, in some cases they have
stronger adaptability than humans thanks to the Seiji's DMNA
that is specifically designed for adaptability. There are a
large variety of ways that this can be used by Seiji. Some can
do things like train physical abilities and adapt their bodies
for specific types of combat, or some can learn to use specific
energies by adapting and training their bodies to use specific
energies, such as one Seiji family who applied the same concepts
as spirit users and learned to control and focus their caliburn
energy in a very similar way. This also applies to things like
environmental adaption, where Seiji can adapt to extreme
temperatures that would kill most humans. For example, Seiji
were raised in Hellfire, and even trained in the 9th circle of
hell where everything freezes. The Seiji can even adapt much
more easily to having little air to breathe, and some have even
been able to survive a vacuum environment with enough training.
Each Seiji has their own specific affinities and abilities to
adapt, but they can also gain new affinities through how they
choose to train themselves. For example, a Seiji might train
themselves to fight spirits by putting themselves around spirits
and adapting to being able to interact with the spiritual plane.
This is thanks to the DMNA, which changes and modifies to allow
the Seiji to adapt as best it can to the environment. The
Seiji's energies also help the Seiji adapt as well, in which
their unique energies can also gain adaptability as well. Of
course, as one might expect, Seiji specialize in unholy powers
and mostly negative abilities, but they cannot use holy powers
to the same effect as humans can. While they can use holy
powers, holy powers can negatively affect them since they are
more demonic in nature. It is similar to how a human using
certain negative powers can corrupt themselves. The Seiji cannot
adapt completely to holy abilities, or positive nature abilities
as it is the one thing they often lack due to their demonic
natures, and any attempt to gain a positive nature has not gone
well for the Seiji.
- Seiji Demon Eye: This is another technique that the Seiji
developed on their own using their own unique abilities and
their own unique physiology. The Seiji's eyes have slightly
different physiology than humans, where their eyes are filled
with demonic power. The first thing to note is that Seiji
regenerate their eyes, in which their eyes have demonic
regeneration that allows them to heal or even regrow if removed
(which is useful for a few eye arts where the Seiji removes
their eyes). With their eyes, their eyes actually have immense
power in them, as their eyes are sources of energy that is
useful to them. By releasing this energy, they have a few
demonic eye arts they can use. Seiji eyes are darker in color
than human eyes, usually identifiable by the darker sclera (the
normally white part of the eyeball) that are not white like
humans, but also not pure black like demons. They also typically
have different colored eyes depending on the Seiji, as many have
unique pupil colors that usually correspond to their demon
power. For example, in the same way brown eyes are the most
common eye color among humans, red eyes are the most common eye
color among Seiji with yellow being another very common pupil
color. Some have unique eyes, and some can even change the color
of their eyes to blend in with other people. Typically, the
power of the Seiji eyes are usually filled with energy, and
depending on the Seiji, they may have unique arts to utilize
their eyes (Some families do have some unique eye-based
abilities that use their demonic eyes). Of course, as one might
expect, Seiji eyes do still process light and see the same way
that humans do, so that part of the Seiji's vision does still
work like normal. The only real differences are the Seiji being
able to use the energy that builds up in their eyes for their
own ends, and their eyes being able to regenerate. However,
because of the power in their eyes, there are many that might
seek Seiji eyes if they find out about the power in their eyes,
which can be a problem for them as they typically already worry
about those like Heaven and Hell hunting them as it is. Seiji
eye-based demonic arts usually also have holy weaknesses much
like most of their powers, and most have their own weaknesses
depending on the arts. And with their eye's regeneration, things
like varanium and demon killing weapons can negate their demonic
regeneration of their demonic eyes.
- Seiji Combat Trained Enhanced Natural Healing: Much like
humans, Seiji actually have natural healing where they recover
from injuries similar to human. However, through enhanced
physical states they possess, as well as physical focus and
training, Seiji's heal much faster than that of average humans.
Seijis will often train their bodies up through physical combat
training and enhanced physical states, in which one effect of
this is their enhanced natural healing. For example, small cuts
could heal within minutes, with stronger wounds healing in mere
hours. This utilizes peak combatant training to condition their
bodies to their max potential, and is not actually supernatural
regeneration. For those with regeneration (through other means),
it is something Seiji learn and train, as healing more quickly
and effectively through combat training reduces the amount of
work a supernatural regeneration would have to do (for those
that do have supernatural regeneration). However, those without
supernatural healing rely on this more and are more likely to
train their body's natural recovery to its fullest. Because this
is gained through simple combat training to push the body to its
peak condition and not through supernatural power, this
particular faster healing is not negated by things like varanium
or other regeneration negation abilities since this power is not
any form of supernatural or even tech based regeneration. While
it is possible to enhance healing with cybernetics and use
nanobots produced by certain companies to heal even faster for
tech based regeneration in many cases, most Seiji stick to
natural healing, and stick to normal peak condition training. As
one might imagine though, this is only an enhanced normal
healing, and doesn't use supernatural regeneration which means
that certain injuries cannot be healed naturally (Though Seiji
recovery is a bit different than human healing, more later).
Seiji have enhanced recovery, but it is worth noting that one
can kill them by cutting off their heads, or using a demon
killing knife or angel blade which can kill them like other
demons.
- Seiji Enhanced Natural Tissue Re-connection/Organ
Regeneration: When it comes to Seiji, Seiji do have some
differences from humans in terms of recovery. Unlike humans,
Seiji have genetics in their DMNA that makes them unique
creatures. Unlike humans, Seiji actually have special recovery
instructions in their DMNA for recovery. unlike humans, Seiji
can actually recover from injuries that would be fatal to humans
and have a few different natural recovery abilities that humans
don't have. The first is that Seiji organs are made to be able
to heal just like the rest of their bodies, and Seiji organs are
designed to fix themselves when needed thanks to the Seiji's
unique genetics that tell their organ's cells how to repair
themselves when damaged. While Seiji can still be killed
depending on the damage done, it takes far more to kill them
than it does other beings. With a Seiji's recovery, some have
even been known to recover from their hearts or brains being
stabbed if the damage is not too much for them to handle
depending on how well trained their natural recovery is through
combat training. The second is that Seiji's are able to reattach
severed tissue, in which their bodies can actually reattach
tissue and recover. Seiji enable this by reconnecting the tissue
and putting pressure on the tissue against the body part it was
severed from, and the body will rejoin the cells in order to
reconnect the tissue. In essence, this allows Seiji to recover
tissue that is severed, such as they can reattach limbs that are
cut off in battle. And since this is a natural healing that is
not supernatural in nature, this gives Seiji immunity to
regeneration negation skills, weapons and items (as long as they
don't have supernatural regeneration through other abilities.
Seiji healing may seem like supernatural regeneration, but it is
a natural healing that is essentially an enhanced genetic trait
that they were given that was meant to make them better than
humans when it came to recovery. This allows Seiji to recover
from a lot more injuries than most think, and sometimes even the
Seiji get surprised at some things they can survive. However,
while they may seem impossible to kill, Seiji can actually be
killed easily by just cutting off their heads. If a Seiji loses
their head, they die as easily as many other races, and their
regeneration cannot save them from this. Usually, doing enough
damage in a short time to the Seiji's organs can overwhelm the
body, and destroying enough of the Seiji's body can kill them
(though it's more difficult since their organs recover). Also,
demon killing weapons and angel blades interrupt their natural
healing, which is one of the only known ways to interrupt their
natural healing.
- Seiji Demonic Epimorphic and Endomorphic Tissue Transformation
Potential: When it comes to Seiji, Seiji have special tissue
properties in their bodies, that are slightly different than
humans. Due to having shapeshifting abilities thanks to their
demon power, Seiji have special properties in their epidermic
tissue, known as their epimorphic tissue, that allows their
tissue to more easily change and transform. There are a few
different purposes for this. The first is that Seiji can more
easily transform tissue, where it is easier for them to
transform their bodies. Whether it's more powerful forms, or
it's about shapeshifting into other forms, Seiji transform their
tissue more easily that lets them take other forms. While
shapeshifting is common and this may not seem too necessary,
Seiji tissue's transformation potential allows them to more
naturally use these forms, which is a natural transformative
ability in their bodies that makes them immune to shapeshifting
power negation like other shapeshifters. Unlike other beings,
Seiji don't need supernatural power to change their forms, as
their tissues can change form without needing that particular
ability. While shapeshifting opens up more options, Seiji have
DMNA specifically for their tissue's transformation potential.
Another use for this is that Seiji skin is able to adapt more
easily, where their adaptability allows them stronger adapting.
Another main thing to note about Seiji is that their endomorphic
tissue is able to transform as well. Their inner skin tissue
under their epimorphic outer tissue is designed to transform as
well, but there is another purpose for its transformative
properties. For the endomorphic tissue, Seiji actually have
tissue that is designed to transform and replace damaged tissue,
where cells from the endomorphic tissue are able to move and
repair patches of damaged tissue. For example, Seiji are
actually able to regrow new teeth using this method, where the
tissue transforms and replaces the lost teeth and then turns
into new teeth that grow in place of the old. This can reconnect
torn muscles, or repair broken bones. However, while effective,
only so much tissue is transformed, due to if too much is
transformed, the skin tissue becomes weaker. So if the Seiji
takes too much damage and cannot repair it, this endomorphic
tissue can only do so much.
- Seiji Lungs and Bronchiule Respiratory System: When it comes
to the Seiji's respiratory system, the Seiji have a few things
to note about how they breathe. The breathe air just like
humans, in which they have a somewhat similar respiratory system
setup. However, there are a few differences. The first is that
Seiji process not just the oxygen and nitrogen in the air, but
they convert other gases they breathe in as well. This is done
by the bronchiule tubes in the Seiji's lungs. Similar to human
bronchial tubes, Seiji bronchiule tubes are meant to filter the
air they breathe. However, depending on the air, the bronchiule
tubes filter out different gases for different purposes. For
example, breathing in carbon dioxide will filter into oxygen and
carbon, which is transported in the blood. By separating the
two, the carbon is sent to the bones where it feeds the kenzite
in their bones (more later), while the oxygen is transported
through their systems just like humans. In this manner, the
Seiji can breathe carbon dioxide just like air, and actually
have a use for the carbon when the carbon dioxide is broken
down. In addition to carbon dioxide, Seiji also process
nitrogen, where they use it to strengthen the proteins in their
body and strengthen their DMNA and RDNA proteins so that they
become stronger, thus granting stronger traits in the Seiji. In
addition to this, the Seiji also have way of using some
poisonous gases, such as they can breathe in some forms of gases
that can be absorbed by their demonic power once their bodies
have adjusted, such as some who breathed in enough radioactive
gases to gain the ability to process radioactive gases and use
it to strengthen their hellfire (however, not all poison gases
can be processed and used). Seiji can breathe in a lot of things
that humans cannot, and can usually adapt to make use of gases
over enough exposure. Anything they cannot use is usually
expelled (more later), but this doesn't mean that Seiji can use
every gas. There are things that can still poison them, such as
they can still drown (unless they adapt to breathe in water) and
certain gases can kill them if they aren't given enough time to
adapt.
- Seiji Toxic Breath Poison Gas Expellation: Whenever a Seiji
breathes out, they exhale carbon dioxide similar to humans.
However, Seiji also have a unique trait that humans don't have
when it comes to their respiratory system. Unlike humans, Seiji
can expel any poison gases or damaging gases they inhale, in
which their bronchiule tubes expel any gases that are not useful
to the body. In this manner, Seiji's ability to expel poison
gases allows them to expel anything that may damage them. This
is something that not only is useful to allow Seiji to expel any
gases they don't use, but also allows them to use this to
attempt to poison others. By expelling poison gas, they can
breathe this as a gas into the air, where they can release what
almost appears like dragon elemental breath. However, instead of
elemental breath, Seiji release the poisonous gases they have.
Some Seiji can even store poison gas in their bronchiule tubes,
and save it specifically for battle. However, in addition to the
gases they inhale, their demonic presence in their blood also
produces sulfur dioxide as a side effect of the demonic
presence. Seiji expel this in the same way that humans expel
carbon dioxide, where they will breathe it out when they don't
need it. Seiji are able to breathe sulfur dioxide in waves,
which is extremely dangerous to beings, specifically humans. By
breathing out this sulfur dioxide, Seiji are able to release
this from their blood to not only improve the efficiency of
their bodies so their blood doesn't become too saturated with
sulfur, but this is useful to poison enemies in battle, where
the Seiji can choose to release sulfur dioxide. Seiji are meant
to breathe oxygen like humans, so they don't like using this
unless they have to, or they may use it if it is strategic to do
so. However, if they do use this, this can cause problems if
they rely on it too much, such as affecting areas and killing
the life if they breathe enough poison gas on areas. And like
humans, Seiji don't intend to poison the world with their power
since they need nature as much as humans do. Also, while Seiji
can breathe out poison gas, this works much like one would
expect, where as long as a person doesn't breathe the gas, they
should be able to avoid it. This gas is usually a demonic orange
when breathed out, so opponents will usually know when Seiji use
this.
- Seiji Sulfuric Acid Stomach/Villae Nutrient Absorption
Conversion Digestive System: When it comes to the digestive
system, the Seiji have a similar digestive system to humans.
However, as one might expect, there are a few differences. The
first is that Seiji have special sulfuric acid in their stomach
which their stomach acid designed to eat away and digest things
eaten by the Seiji. In the stomach, food is digested just like
it is with human, and is just as effective as it is for humans
except for the fact that Seiji can digest more than what humans
can normally digest. Unlike humans, the Seiji can dissolve
things that humans normally wouldn't be able to using their
stomach acid, such as a Seiji could eat poisonous plants and be
able to digest them when other creatures cannot (Whether or not
they get nutrition from it is a different matter though). The
other thing is that the Seiji's digestive system in their
intestines are filled with special bacteria that they have named
villae, similar to how humans have bacteria in their intestines
designed to absorb nutrients. However, when it comes to the
villae, they don't just absorb nutrients and send them into the
blood, but the villae actually break down anything that is not
nutrients and converts them into proteins. This is something
that make a Seiji's digestive system a bit more unique, as they
break down and don't generate as much waste in their bodies as
humans do. Seiji actually make use of anything in their systems,
and the villae are able to convert almost anything digested into
proteins by breaking them down. Some Seiji have even been known
to be able to eat plastic and break it down in their digestive
system, converting the material into proteins their body can use
(not something they like to do, but something they can do).
Because of this, Seiji don't generate a lot of waste in their
bodies, as mentioned earlier. Due to this, it is rare to see
Seiji actually go to the bathroom like humans do, since their
bodies are much more adept at using all of what is in their
systems and converting what they don't need into something they
can use. The only time a Seiji will expel things from their body
are usually things that the body can't break down, or things
that might harm the Seiji's body. However, this process isn't
perfect, and cannot break down certain materials (not that the
Seiji would go around eating such materials). While Seiji have
the same general setup has humans, the two biggest differences
are the sulfuric stomach acid and the villae, whereas everything
else mostly works the same as it does for humans.
- Seiji Demon Sulfuric Plasmic Acid Blood Circulatory
System/Acid Resistance: Seiji have a circulatory system just
like humans, where they have blood that runs through their body.
Just like humans, Seiji have fairly similar circulatory system
to humans. However, while their blood is made up of platelets
and blood cells (which are different from humans, more later),
the big thing to note here is that Seiji plasma is a bit
different from humans. The Seiji have normal blood, but their
plasma is actually a demonic presence sulfuric plasmic acid (a
unique acid to Seiji that is like liquid demon energy in acid
form). The Seiji plasmic acid is the equivalent of plasma, which
is designed to carry the blood cells throughout the body. Seiji
plasmic acid is a liquid demonic energy, which runs throughout
the Seiji's blood and is generated by their circulatory system.
This works much like a human circulatory system, where Seiji are
able to circulate blood through their system in a setup very
similar to humans. However, their blood is different in a few
ways (more later), with the main thing being the plasmic acid
that makes up their plasma. Because of this, Seiji bodies, as
well as their blood cells and platelets, are designed to handle
the plasmic acid of their circulatory system, making their
internal body highly resistant to acid. Partially due to their
demonic nature and the amount of sulfur their demonic presence
generates, Seiji can easily generate this plasmic acid using
demonic presence in the body to generate this special acid.
Because of this, Seiji blood is far more acidic than human
blood, to the point where Seiji blood can dissolve a lot of
objects that normal acids cannot, and can do so more
efficiently. This makes Seiji blood especially dangerous to
those around the Seiji should the Seiji ever bleed, and this is
particularly dangerous to the Seiji's that utilize blood
manipulation (in which some do have blood manipulation
abilities). For the most part, this also makes Seiji blood very
difficult to contaminate, due to the acid often dissolving most
things that are introduced into the blood artificially. As a
result of this, the Seiji also have trouble with things like
vaccinations and having medicine injected into them, due to
their blood often dissolving is introduced into their blood.
This means that many Seiji have to take medicine or vaccines
through digestion rather than injection due to how difficult it
is to keep things in the blood.
- Seiji Crimson Blood Cells Nutrient Transport/Backup Nutrient
Generation: This is the first thing to note about the blood of a
Seiji that is different. Instead of normal red blood cells that
humans have, Seiji have what they call "crimson blood cells"
that run through their body. Similar to humans, crimson blood
cells transport nutrients (as well as gases like oxygen and
nitrogen) throughout the body. Crimson cells also carry carbon
in them from the carbon dioxide that Seiji breathe in, which is
sent to the skeletal system (more later). Seiji crimson blood
cells operate as one would expect, in which they are transported
throughout the body by the plasma. This makes the crimson blood
cells highly resistant to the plasma's acidic properties, since
the cells are designed to operate within the sulfuric plasmic
acid. In addition to carrying nutrients though, Seiji also have
another purpose for their crimson blood cells. Seiji crimson
blood cells also generate nutrients the body needs, designed so
that the Seiji don't have to take in as many nutrients from food
and other sources. The Seiji crimson blood cells generate these
nutrients, alongside transporting nutrients throughout the body.
In doing this, the Seiji can generate some of their own
nutrients, which helps them not suffer hunger as easily as
humans normally do. Seiji can go much longer than humans without
having to eat or drink as a result of their crimson blood cells
being able to generate their own nutrients. For the most part,
this transport works similar to how it does for humans, and
despite the cells also generating extra nutrients, all the
nutrients get released in the body similar to how they do with
humans (the only difference is that the crimson blood cells
don't store as much nutrients due to the fact that they generate
their own extra nutrients). For the most part, the Seiji's
circulatory works the same way as humans, which means that aside
from differences like the plasma being acidic, Seiji circulatory
still have the same weaknesses as humans, such as Seiji hearts
are a central point in the circulatory system, or not having
enough blood in the body can be dangerous even to Seiji.
- Seiji Orange Blood Cell Contaminate Destruction/Demon Energy
Generation: The Seiji have a somewhat unique lymphatic system,
which controls their immune response to contaminates and
illnesses. However, unlike the orange blood cells humans have,
Seiji have orange blood cells that handle their immune response.
These orange blood cells work much like a human white blood
cell. However, as one might expect, there are some differences
as well. The orange blood cells not only fight off infection and
sicknesses, but the orange blood cells eat and convert anything
that they devour into demonic energy as a means to generate
demonic energy that can help boost the Seiji's body and generate
energy for the body to use. The orange blood cells have special
abilities to devour cells, where they are able to devour
anything that registers as a threat to the body. By breaking
down and converting it, the Seiji have a stronger immune system
than humans, and can convert contaminates into helpful energy
for the body to operate on. This doesn't just apply to bacteria
and viruses, but also applies to things like cancer cells, and
many other types of cells that can appear in the body that may
carry illness or disease. Because of this, it is very rare for
Seiji to get sick naturally, due to their immune response having
much stronger ways to remove contaminates. Some Seiji even have
strong enough immune responses that some have been injected with
liquid silver to try and kill them, and the silver ended up
being broken down by the Seiji's blood (both the plasmic acid
and the orange blood cells). The Seiji can break down things
that humans cannot, and with conversion can use almost anything
that ends up in their blood to their advantage. The only real
danger to Seiji when it comes to naturally strong immune
responses is autoimmune diseases. Just like humans, Seiji can
suffer autoimmune diseases where the body mistakenly attacks
itself. However, these are much more dangerous for Seiji than
humans, due to their immune response being so much stronger. If
a Seiji comes down with an autoimmune disease, they can be
killed by it, as the autoimmune disease can cause the orange
blood cells to cause major internal damage to the body and even
can eat away at the organs, brain and heart as well as the blood
vessels and other systems.
- Seiji Contaminate and Mineral Resistance/Immunity: Seiji have
a very strong biological setup, and one such setup of their
biological systems gives them a somewhat unique trait. Seiji
have gained a resistance to chemicals and minerals in which
their bodies are able to counter far more chemicals and minerals
than most other races can. For the most part, chemicals that are
absorbed into the Seiji body that are deemed poisonous or
hurtful are usually countered by the Seiji immune system, which
doesn't just break down harmful substances, but can convert
certain substances into demonic energy. Seiji orange blood cells
that convert contaminates is mostly the reason for this, but
Seiji adaptability is also a major factor in their resistance or
immunity to contaminates. Seiji can even counter the effects of
alcohol, in which their orange blood cells and their
adaptability can render alcohol ineffective to them with enough
exposure (though many Seiji don't drink enough for this to
happen). However, the Seiji don't just gain resistances to
chemicals in the body, but how certain minerals affect their
body. For example, Seiji can gain some resistance to some
supernatural materials through adaptability and exposure, such
as some Seiji with regeneration abilities may gain resistances
to varanium. This has even led to certain metal poisonings being
countered by the body that humans cannot counter, such as lead
poisoning being able to be converted into demonic energy.
Depending on the material and the response, Seiji can either
gain a resistance, or over time, an immunity upon enough
exposure to materials. Because of this, it is very hard to kill
a Seiji through contaminates or by things getting into their
body. This also depends on the material as well, such as weaker
materials could more easily lead to immunities while certain
stronger materials lead to resistances first. However, these
resistances aren't perfect, and certain materials cannot be
changed or resisted depending on the material. There are certain
things that Seiji cannot handle, such as holy water (which can
burn their skin to touch, or can do damage if injected into
them). Seiji cannot gain resistances to things with holy
attributes, due to their demonic nature (and no amount of
adapting grants them resistance to anything with strong enough
holy properties).
- Seiji Neurylate Demonic Energy Nervous System: The Seiji
nervous system is a bit different from humans, where there are
some major differences to note. The first is that instead of
neurons, Seiji have neurylates, which are the Seiji equivalent
of neurons. However, instead of using electrical signals to
communicate, the neurylates actually generate demonic energy
which is used to move the body through the mind's control of the
body. This demonic energy carries the information that is
processed by the brain, and just like humans, the Seiji can
store information in their minds. There are a few major
advantages to this. The first is that Seiji aren't as vulnerable
to nerve interruptions due to things like lightning users using
electrical signal interruption or psychics shutting down
electrical signals in the body, due to the fact that Seiji
neurylates are not electrical in nature, and use demonic energy
in place of electricity. This grants Seiji heavy resistance to
many of the psychic and some of the other powers that others use
to interrupt the nervous system, since the Seiji are built
differently than humans. While most wouldn't expect demon energy
to be able to carry information like electrical signals can, the
demon energy carries information similar to neural signals by
using a manipulation of energy form to store information. In
doing so, the Seiji can send information through their
neurylates this way, which send the information back and forth
from their nervous system. In addition, the demonic energy used
also has another advantage. Instead of using electrical signals
which take moments to send the signal, Seiji minds
subconsciously manipulate the neurylates demon energy when they
want to move, which allows them a big advantage over other
beings. Seiji have a big advantage in this regard, as their
bodies are controlled by minds directly without needing to send
the signals to the nerves like humans do. Because of this, Seiji
are able to react to danger much more easily, as they are able
to react almost instantly compared to humans. While it is
usually only less than a few seconds for humans to react, Seiji
are able to react almost instantly with no lag time when they
are trying to react to something or if they want to move, giving
them big advantages in movement that many other races don't
have. However, holy energy can mess with their nervous systems,
and interrupting that can hinder their ability to send signals
through their neurylates.
- Seiji Kenzite Skeletal System and Carbon Bone Marrow: As one
would expect, the Seiji have a unique skeleton, in which their
bones work a bit differently from humans. While they do have the
same setup as humans, where their bones are in the same places
as humans, their actual bones are different. The first thing to
note is the bone marrow. Seiji bone marrow is made up of a
carbon substance, which is much stronger than the bone marrow of
humans. Seiji bone marrow works much like human bone marrow,
where it creates crimson blood cells (in place of a human's red
blood cells), but the carbon is a special material. At will, the
carbon can change it's atomic structure, where it can absorb
impacts, or it can harden to a level where it cannot break
depending on the situation. Seiji bone marrow is highly
adaptable and strong, which can be very useful. If a Seiji were
to break a bone (as unlikely as it would be), the carbon would
harden until the bone could repair, and would protect the bone
from further damage. In addition to the bone marrow though, the
outer part of the bone is made up of a special material called
kenzite. Kenzite is a Seiji specific organic material, and this
material is generated by their bones to protect their bones from
being broken. Kenzite is almost like a demonic black metal,
which is made by the Seiji's body, and is nearly impossible to
break under normal circumstances with anything other than an
angel blade. Aside from the bone marrow, Seiji bones are made
almost entirely of Kenzite, and the bones constantly produce
this. However, there is another reason they produce more of this
than the bones need. Seiji actually also funnel this to their
muscles (more later). The outer parts of the bones are extremely
strong to protect the body, and, like humans, their bones help
shape their bodies. Seiji can even strengthen their bone marrow
by ingesting and converting carbon that they eat or inhale
(inhaling usually happens through carbon dioxide). However,
angel blades specifically are able to pierce the bones easily,
in which Kenzite becomes like paper when pressed against an
angel blade (due to angel blade silver reacting to Kenzite and
making it very brittle when in contact with it). To an extent,
some holy power/weapons, and demon killing weapons can also more
easily pierce the bones (though as easily as angel blades).
- Seiji Demonic Celiofibris Kenzite-Infusion Pink Muscle Musclar
System: Seiji's muscle systems are also a bit unique, in which
the Seiji have some differences to note from human muscles.
Seiji muscle fibers are made of celiofibris cells, which act in
place of the myofibrils that are found in humans. There are a
few things to note with the celiofibris cells. The first is that
celiofibris cells are much stronger than normal muscle cells, in
which they are interlocked, where they are not in a straight
line like normal human muscle fibers. Inside the muscle fibers,
the fibers are interwoven, where they overlap and under-lap in
order to provide extra strength. This design makes the muscle
fibers much stronger, and don't tear as easily, as well as not
being able to be broken as easily. Seiji muscle fibers are
designed to be put under extreme pressure, and this allows them
to use more physical strength and ability than humans normally
can. Another thing to note about Seiji muscles is that they
absorb the extra kenzite from the skeleton, in which the muscles
become infused with kenzite that the muscles absorb to
strengthen the muscles. While the muscles still move like normal
muscles, the muscle fibers themselves are much stronger as a
result of the kenzite that the muscles absorb. In addition,
Seiji don't have red and white muscles like humans, but instead
only have one type of muscle that has both properties. Seiji
actually have a special pink muscle, which is the entirety of
their muscles. Their speed, strength and durability in their
muscles are thanks to the blend of red and white muscles that
make up their pink muscles, which allow them to use feats of
strength and speed that many humans wouldn't be capable of due
to human muscle types usually having limits. And their muscles
are usually also strengthened by physical combat training, so
that the Seiji will be able to maximize their physical
capabilities. As such, the Seiji have very strong muscles, and
this makes them typically able to have stronger physical stats
than humans can, usually putting them on par with many
supernaturals without needing supernatural abilities. However,
as one might expect, holy power/weapons, as well as angel
blades, can more easily pierce or tear the kenzite in the
muscles.
Seiji Energies and Powers:
- Seiji Aura: Just like other creatures usually have their own
auras, Seiji are no different in that they have an aura they
project from themselves (that is mostly demonic in nature). For
them, it is a basic energy aura that generated from their unique
energies, and from their demon power. This aura is essentially
the same as other being's auras, and can even be used for
specific aura based abilities depending on the Seiji's
skillsets. Their aura is similar to demonic aura, where a
Seiji's aura is far more concentrated than normal. In addition,
the same demonic presence that demons have, Seiji also have in
which they leave behind a demonic presence (more later). Seiji's
auras are similar to demons, but instead a Seiji's aura is more
of a unique kind of unholy power, which is generated by their
body's unique energies. This makes Seiji aura a bit unique due
to their unnatural energies, even though they use it similar to
demons. And since their aura is unique, almost no one has
immunity to attacks using their aura, due to the fact that few
have fought Seiji and learned enough about them in order to
combat them. Like other races though, Seiji can learn different
aura based abilities, such as using their aura like a defensive
shield to help dampen attacks (similar to other races who use
their supernatural aura defensive or even offensively). There
are a variety of abilities tied to auras that can be learned,
not limited to just defense though. Some can fire energy attacks
from the energy in their aura, or some can learn to even focus
their regeneration through their aura, or some even learn to try
and contain their aura so that they are much harder to sense by
others and they can internalize their power more easily. Some
even gain special effects using their aura due to some auras
having some unique effects. However, no matter how strong a
Seiji's aura is, there are always ways to counter it. Of course,
aura breaker weapons can still break their aura, which is the
most reliable method. However, holy weapons, items and powers
will often work best, since their aura is a demonic type aura
(for the most part). The Seiji's auras can also be broken by
stronger attacks, depending on the enemy as, like many other
auras, it only requires overpowering the aura in some manner.
Some can overpower it with other energy, but some can overpower
auras with raw brute force if they are strong enough.
- Seiji Unholy Energies: Seijis are have bodies similar to
humans, in which they can use the same energies as humans like
mana, ki, chi, aura and spirit energy. However, unlike humans
who usually have positive or neutral souls or even a balance of
positive and negative, Seijis use entirely unholy energies due
to them being demonic in nature. Where humans use normal mana,
chi or chakra, Seiji's use unholy variations, such as dark mana,
demonic chi, and dark chakra. Depending on the energy, some
energies are may be more demonic or dark in nature depending on
the energy. This also doesn't include certain unique energies
such as Titherian Mana energy (which is unique to Seiji, more
later). This means that Seiji can learn the same types of
energies that humans can use and learn to utilize energy-based
skillsets, thanks to them having similar setups for their bodies
and similar physiologies to humans. The only difference is that
Seiji use dark or demonic power in order to utilize their
energies, due to them only having pure unholy sides and not
really having much affinity in the way of positive powers (they
have the ability to learn positive powers, but most of the time
it does damage to them to use positive powers with a few
exceptions). Their abilities to learn energies mostly follows
the same path as humans, and like humans, each Seiji may
specialize in specific energies depending on what they're good
at, such as Seiji specializing in magic may have a stronger
affinity for mana abilities (though any Seiji can learn mana
user abilities). They also have certain unique energy
variations, like their tritherian mana, and they have a few
unique energies that humans don't have by channeling their
spirit, or caliburn energy. There are Seiji equivalents of
almost every kind of human power that one can think of, except
that most of the time, it is the dark or demonic nature, or a
unique Seiji variation. Of course, aside from the unholy element
of the energies and the uniqueness of some of the energies they
have, a Seiji's energies are countered just like their human
counterparts, such as dark mana being able to be purified into
normal mana or blocked with holy power. And any power they have
will have the same weaknesses (except in some cases they have to
be tailored to Seiji's unholy power. And due to them being
negative natured, most Seiji can be more easily countered by
holy power, no matter the ability Seiji use, due to the fact
that holy power counters most of a Seiji's unholy abilities.
- Seiji Internal Darkness: This is another advanced form of
energy manipulation that Seiji can specialize in. Many Seiji
specialize in negative emotions, in which the Seiji developed
their own darkness-type art in order to use their internalized
anger and hatred that they put away as power that they have.
Because they internalize this, they learned to combine this to
create a powerful darkness like energy they call from their
bodies as manifestations of their dark thoughts. When used, this
energy comes out of their bodies, and becomes a liquid-like
darkness that solidifies at will to attack enemies. This works
somewhat similar to the darkness user power, black blood, where
a user fuses darkness into their blood. However, unlike other
beings, Seiji don't have to fuse darkness to their blood, and
instead use their stored emotions to control the darkness in
their own bodies. As such, Seiji can use this darkness type
energy to attack enemies, where Seiji are able to use this as
their own special brand of darkness. This darkness is empowered
by a Seiji's anger and hatred they store, where this acts as a
heavy amplifier. This can be used like normal darkness, except
that it's default form is a liquid-like state. Because of this
state, it actually doesn't act completely like shadows, and
instead acts like a mix of darkness and goopy fluid that makes
it somewhat unique. This fluid can be used like one might
expect, where Seiji can use the liquid-like properties similar
to that of water manipulation, such as making pressurized
blasts, or they can solidify their darkness to make it appear
like solid matter. For the most part, this darkness is much like
normal darkness, except that light is not what counters this
power. This darkness type energy is countered by holy power, in
which users counter it instead by using holy purification type
powers, or by using strong enough holy powers to overpower the
anger or hatred that is infused into this power. This is
actually more countered like liquid manipulation more than
darkness, except when it becomes solid, in which it can be
countered like earth manipulation. For the most part, strong
enough energy that can destroy the anger and hatred in this
power can destroy this energy, and while positive powered
energies make this process much easier (as direct counters to
the negative power this is powered by), positive energies are
not necessarily the only energies that can counter this.
- Seiji Demon Smoke Essence: Due to the Seiji being demons who
were made to be like humans, Seiji actually have some similarity
to human-turned demons, specifically their smoke-like presence
that they use as their "true" form. Seiji also have this smoke
presence, in which they are able to generate a very similar kind
of smoke that essentially becomes a method for them to utilize
this to turn into this black smoke. And like the hell knights,
Seiji have a variety of ways to utilize this, in which the Seiji
have special arts designed to take advantage of this particular
essence they possess. When used, a Seiji is able to turn their
bodies or parts of their bodies into this smoke-like presence,
where they become demonic smoke. When they are in smoke form,
the heat their smoke form exudes is similar to that of hellfire
type heat, in which their presence can actually burn others to
the touch with both demonic energy and the heat generated from
their smoke forms due to their essence being able to generate
hellfire. Similar to demons, Seiji could use this to possess
people in the same way demons do, if they need a vessel to hide
away in. However, most use this for other purposes. For example,
in battle, Seiji often use this to shapeshift their bodies into
this smoke and use it to attack enemies, such as combining this
with hellfire to create a combined hellfire/smoke type attack
that uses both aspects. They can also use this as a form of
intangibility, where they can go into this form to avoid
attacks. They can also use this to travel around, where they can
move as a mass of smoke through the air. For the most part, this
is an ability that lets Seiji turn into a smoke-like presence,
and aside from the Seiji-unique arts that they possess, Seiji
use this just like that of human form demons, with the most
notable presences being Abaddon and Crowley who have very
similar presences. While this isn't exactly the same, it does
work similarly enough that it can be countered the same way.
When they go into smoke-like form, Seiji can be countered like
smoke, such as being blown away by strong winds, and if they try
to possess others, the same typical weaknesses to demon
possession still apply.
- Seiji Demon Smoke Essence Arts: Seiji can also use their smoke
essence for other things using different abilities, with there
being two main uses for this. The first is using it to infect
the mind of someone else using their essence by breathing the
smoke into someone's mouth and letting it infect their body.
When using this, the Seiji separates some of their smoke-like
presence from themselves, and manipulate it. This has a few
purposes, whether it's to influence a living person, or infect
someone with a demonic presence that can damage them over time.
However it's main use is to pull memories from others, where the
smoke essence infects the minds and copies someone's memories
and shows the Seiji the memories of the person they infect. The
Seiji can use this on someone whether they're dead or alive, as
long as the person isn't too decayed. By using this, this is
usually used as a good method to gather information, where Seiji
will use this to gather information from people who have been
killed to find information on battles that had been fought that
they weren't present for, or they can use this to find more
information on people they are tracking. Using this on dead
people is easier for Seiji though, since using it on dead people
means there's no mind to resist their influence, whereas a
living person could try to resist the influence or even be
immune if they are able to push out the influence. The second
use for this is infecting people and influencing them. This can
create a demonic power style infection in the body, destroying
it little by little from the inside, or be used in the mind to
try and subtly influence people by speaking to their
subconscious, depending on what the Seiji want to do. These two
skills are the main uses for a Seiji's smoke essence, though
some have unique abilities using their smoke essence depending
on the Seiji. Also, for those that want to counter the influence
of this, those with strong enough wills to resist can still
resist. And if infected, holy power can be used to push the
infectious presence out through holy purification if one wants
to push out this presence. Also, a Seiji has to determine what
it is they want to use this for when using it, and cannot change
what it does after it infects the person they want to infect
with it. Seiji also usually have to be in close proximity to use
this, as they have to breathe the smoke into someone's body to
use this, which can leave them vulnerable to attack by the
person they want to infect.
- Seiji Demon Vision Arts: As mentioned, the Seiji have unique
eyes that are filled with demonic power. This was designed so
that they would be able to use certain vision arts, in which
most have some form of demonic vision arts that can be used.
Depending on the Seiji, there are some families with unique
arts, but all Seiji have at least some basic vision arts that
they can use utilizing the power of their eyes. The first and
most common one is that the Seiji are able to use this on other
beings to share memories of things they've seen. When using this
art, Seiji concentrates on what they want to show others, then
they remove their eye and crush it in their hands, dispersing
the energy in the air around them. Whoever is nearby (usually
meant to be used on allies), the Seiji's energy in the eye is
spread to those around them, and then shows them what the Seiji
wants to show them. The other most common vision art is one
where the Seiji takes out their eye and crushes it, using it on
another creature where they have the person absorb the energy.
Once they have done so, the Seiji can then infect the sight of
another being, where they can then see what the other being sees
as long as the demon energy from the Seiji's eye remains in the
body of the creature or person. Many Seiji use this on rats or
small animals to spy on people, or using it on humans to use
humans to spy on others. For the most part, there are a number
of eye-based vision arts that Seiji use, most of which usually
require removing the eye and then crushing it, or using the
demonic energy in the eye for something. The arts usually depend
on the Seiji, and what they learn, since many Seiji often
utilize different arts depending on what they want to do.
However, for the most part, to use these arts, a Seiji has to
know what they want to do with their arts before they use them,
and many of their arts don't have any negative effects on others
(exceptions must be stated). For the most part, this is more of
a power that helps Seiji gather information, and doesn't really
do much in battle aside from a few skills that are meant to be
used in battle. Depending on the arts used, most can be
countered by either not being near the energy when its released
from the eye, or the eyes can be destroyed with holy power
before the art can be used.
- Seiji Ether: Seiji's do not have souls in the traditional
sense. Instead of souls, Seiji have "ethers", which work a bit
differently from souls and have different properties than souls.
Just as humans and other supernaturals have souls, the Seiji
have a very similar kind of essence that makes up their
"spiritual" essence. The first thing to note is that a Seiji's
ether is more like a mass of black smoke, compared to the
spiritual soul of most beings centered around a central point
where their essence lies. Seiji ethers generate their own spirit
energy, which they call Caliburn energy, from their ethers that
they utilize in place of spirit energy used by other races. The
Seiji's spiritual essence is tied to their ether just as a
mortal being is tied to their soul, and Seiji all have these
ethers (unless they lose it somehow against something like a
soul eater). And as such, the Seiji can use their ethers, such
as calling on the black smoke to draw some of their ethers into
raw power they can use in battle (though they can only do this
in limited amounts). Similar to a human turned demon's black
smoke that makes up their spirit, the Seiji's ether works
somewhat similar except that the Seiji can more easily separate
pieces of their ether. The Seiji have specific skills they use
using their ether's energy, and even can feed their ether
different energies to grow in how much energy their ether can
produce as a unique aspect (it is not a soul eater style power,
but more like feeding a spirit to strengthen them). Through
powering up their ether's, their caliburn energy is similar to
humans and demons, where their energy is pure raw energy (like
human spirit energy), but also far more concentrated than normal
humans (like demonic spirit energy). The few Seiji that have
been reaped by death wraiths or grim reapers haven't really
known what to do with Seiji ethers, as they are too dangerous to
leave in the living world, but too dangerous to put in the
afterlife like normal souls because they could actually grow far
stronger in the afterlife by feeding their ether other's life
energies, including spirit energy. For the most part, Seiji
ether is far more dangerous than human spirit, partially because
of their unholy nature, but the unique energy nature of their
ether being different from normal souls and being able to feed
on energies. This also makes them work a bit different for soul
eaters (More in Seiji ether protection). But while they work
differently, they still need to have energy in order to use
their ether's powers in a fight, and they can run out of power
just like a spirit energy user if they overuse their ether's
power. If they aren't careful, losing their ether could prove
dangerous, as it would be just like another creature losing
their soul.
- Seiji Caliburn Energy: Just as a Seiji's spirit is not a soul,
but so too is their spirit energy not actually spirit energy.
Instead of normal beings spirit energy, Seiji's have their own
version of spirit energy generated by their ethers called
caliburn energy that radiates from the souls like black smoke.
This is a unique spirit type of energy that is generated by
Seiji, and works in place of spirit energy. Seiji have, like
many of their unique aspects, weaponized this energy to use
against opponents. The first thing to note is that this powers
their spirit-like abilities that allow them to use their ether's
energy to attack opponents, in which some Seiji can learn
something akin to spirit user skills (with one family having
Caliburn skills they use similar to that of spirit users). This
is different from normal spirit energy though, and while similar
attacks can be used, they cannot use it quite the same way due
to caliburn energy having unique aspects compared to spirit
energy. As mentioned earlier, Seiji caliburn energy is much
stronger than normal spirit energy, due to the fact that the
Seiji have a mix of a demonic and human spirit type presence. As
mentioned, Seiji have the pure raw energy that humans do, but
have the same highly concentrated raw power that demons do
(mixing both aspects together). However, the other thing to note
about this energy is that Seiji's caliburn energy is also unholy
in nature, due to their demonic power (with their caliburn
energy having an unholy element to it). Another thing to note is
that caliburn energy doesn't have the same positive/negative
spirit energy as humans and other races, but instead the Seiji
caliburn energy is raw demonic spirit-like energy that is unholy
in nature. This energy is still used for attacks though similar
to those that can use spirit power, and can be formed using a
variety of attacks from spirit blasts, to spirit weapons, and
even being able to focus into unique energies specific to the
Seiji. In rare cases, some Seiji can even gain certain other
spirit powers such as one family who has hollow power thanks to
being given the power to absorb corrupted spirit energy. This
energy still follow the same rules as spirit energy though aside
from the differences, in that a Seiji does have to have energy
to use in order to use attacks and using too much can still take
from their vital life energy if they reduce their energy below a
certain point. For the most part, aside from the unique nature
of the energy, it works very similarly to spirit energy.
However, like many of their abilities, Seijis also have a
weakness to holy power, which can counter their caliburn energy
more easily just like many of their energies being countered
more easily by holy power.
- Seiji Caliburn Energy Enhanced Spiritual Attack: Because Seiji
hone their ethers and their spiritual energies, Seiji have
learned to fight against spirits that may try to attack them. To
counter spirit powers, as well as protect themselves from
spiritual opponents, Seiji have learned to utilize their ether's
spiritual power to attack on the spiritual plane. This not only
allows them to attack things like ghosts, hollows and other
spiritual presences, but this also allows Seiji to attack dark
spirits using their spiritual energies. By using the focus and
power of their ethers and their caliburn energy, a Seiji focuses
their spirit to attack on the spiritual plane, rather than
attack the physical. Because of this, Seiji don't just do
physical damage with their caliburn energy but do spiritual
damage to opponents. This is meant to attack spirits, and other
things not on the physical plane, with some Seiji even being
able to attack spiritual beings like demons and angels, and
force them out of their human or supernatural hosts. This is
especially effective when used on spiritual presences when a
spirit is possessing others, as Seiji's caliburn energies can be
used to damage both the possessed body and the spirit or entity
possessing the person. A Seiji favorite is often using cethran
energy to attack spiritually, where they tend to enjoy attacking
spiritual opponents by frying them with the static-type nature
of their cethran energy. This is effective on almost any
spiritual opponent, as long as the Seiji can damage whatever
they are attacking. This is very useful since Seiji have also
developed this to blast demons out of their human hosts when
demons come to hunt them. While this is very useful for
attacking spiritual energy users though, the Seiji does have to
hit the opponent with their attacks in order to do damage, as
well as the Seiji has to overcome the spirit presence of the
being they are attacking. If the being they are attacking has
stronger energy than them, then this spirit energy will do high
reduced damage (if it does damage at all). Also, when it comes
to Seiji, their enhanced ethers can often be a target for things
like dark spirits who see their ethers as unique. Also, there
are very few Seiji that utilize spirit purification or spirit
destruction, so most Seiji don't have ways of killing most
spiritual opponents (with some exceptions).
- Seiji Caliburn Energy Enhanced Spiritual Pressure: Another
thing to note about Seiji ethers and their caliburn energy is
that many Seiji gain enhanced spirit presences which show their
spiritual power through their ether and their caliburn energy.
This presence radiates from the body in its aura, and gives off
spiritual pressure depending on the strength of the Seiji's
caliburn energy. This is a passive effect which is emitted from
the body, where the body's emitted spirit energy puts pressure
on the environment around them. Just like humans, the exact kind
of spiritual pressure that is exerted may depend on the Seiji's
abilities with their ether and caliburn energy, with some having
stronger presence than others. Stronger Seiji have a stronger
effect on the environment, where the strongest Seiji may have
presences that can create intense gravity that can put immense
pressure on an area, or some may have unique effects depending
on their powers, like how the Entei family has twisted
hollowfied caliburn energy. How far this presence extends, and
how powerful the presence is depends solely on how powerful the
Seiji is, and if they utilize certain things like energy
suppression to keep their energy suppressed (which many do to
avoid drawing attention). Some stronger Seiji who have intense
gravity to their spirit presence will often wear spirit
suppression equipment to prevent their caliburn energy from
having a negative effect on the environment around them, while
weaker Seiji presences will often wear items that will help
increase their spirit power to increase this pressure. For the
most part, this is a passive skill, but can be used to one's
advantage, usually depending on the Seiji and their specific
abilities. While it's not always useful on its own, some Seiji
have learned to tap into their spiritual type presence in order
to either contain the energy to retain as much caliburn energy
as they can, or some may learn to draw on their caliburn's
spiritual presence (usually through spiritual power training).
For the most part, this is mostly just a passive skill that is
determined by the strength of the Seiji's ether and their
caliburn energy. Stronger Seiji ethers will often have trouble
because they may release too much caliburn energy, but weaker
Seiji ethers may need spirit concentration equipment in order to
use stronger caliburn energy.
- Seiji Life Drain: This skill is one of the Seiji's major
abilities involving their ethers. Seiji are able to absorb
energies from opponents through physical touch to power up their
ethers (as mentioned earlier). This allows them to absorb some
of someone's energies in order to power their own ether and
their bodies. Depending on the energy taken, the energies taken
can have different effects on the Seiji temporarily, or
permanently if enough energy is fed to the Seiji's ether. When
they absorb spirit energy, and life energy, they can use this to
power up their ether's ability to produce energy, making their
ethers stronger as a result. Depending on the energy absorbed,
they may even gain certain aspects to their spirit, such as
taking vampire spirit energy may add a cursed energy aspect to
their caliburn energy temporarily. When they absorb mana or chi,
they can use it to power up their ether which their body reacts
in response by having the body produce more of the energy. The
Seiji don't process the energy, but instead just feed it to
their ethers to utilize and empower themselves. Demonic energy
can also be used to strengthen their demonic abilities, or some
can absorb more unique energies if they have unique energies
(Such as the Kazara family's dragon energy power can be powered
up by feeding their ether dragon energy absorbed from other
dragons). This is a lot like many forms of energy drain, where a
Seiji uses physical contact to absorb their energy, and can even
lead to the Seiji gaining new abilities. As such, this is a very
useful skill, as it can power up a Seiji over time, and grant
them both stronger energy and new abilities. However, this isn't
instant, and depending on the Seiji, it can take a lot of energy
to grow the Seiji's ether to a point where they may gain new
abilities. However, there are some energies the Seiji cannot
absorb, such as holy or angelic energy due to angelic and holy
energy doing damage to their demonic natures. And some creatures
they cannot absorb power from, unless it's a power they can
process, such as trying to gain hollow power from absorbing
hollow spirit energy may not work unless the Seiji has hollow
corruption already. And like any other energy drain, there are
limits to this. Unlike some races that specialize in it, Seiji
cannot handle as much energy at once as some races, and usually
have to absorb over longer periods of time (meaning that they
cannot absorb a lot of energy at once without getting
overwhelmed).
- Seiji Cethran Energy: This is a completely unique red energy
to Seiji that humans don't have at all that Seiji use by
focusing their caliburn's unique energy frequency to create a
unique energy reaction that creates a unique energy. This energy
is a powerful energy that is unholy in nature, but bypasses
unholy immunities due to the fact that Seiji's energies are
unique rather than being purely demonic (in this aspect, the
energy does damage even to unholy beings unless the opponent has
a specific resistance to this energy which almost no one has).
This energy is a flame-like lightning energy which can be fired
using their caliburn energy. This energy works almost like red
lightning, in which it jolts through objects like an electrical
current, except that it is pure energy that is made of a natural
energy to the Seiji rather than being elemental in nature. While
this energy works in a current-like stream like electricity, it
is also extremely heated energy that rivals hellfire. So in
addition to it's current-like nature, this energy has both
aspects of hellfire and lighting. And thanks to it being Seiji
caliburn energy rather than elemental power, this energy hurts
anyone, even if they are fire users or lightning users (Unless
they have a specific immunity to Seiji energy, which almost no
one has). This energy is used in streams like lightning, where
Seiji will most often use this to take out enemies in a method
they refer to as "rending" their enemies. In Seiji terms,
rending means that a Seiji will use their energy on an enemy
until that energy does a combination of lightning and heat
damage to the point that the body becomes like a black glass
material as their bodies almost crystallize if they are exposed
to the energy long enough (which usually kills most beings).
This is one of the Seiji's main attacks, in that they focus
their ether to create this energy similarly to how humans used
spirit energy to create aura abilities. This energy is quite
dangerous, and is extremely powerful due to how little defense
most races have against it. However, this energy can be blocked
or dodged like other energy types, and aside from not being able
to dispel it the same way as lightning, the energy still works
like lightning (except that it has energy that burns like
hellfire). This is an unholy energy, so holy energy is the best
way to defend against it, as long as it's stronger than the
cethran energy used. Another defense against this energy is
using strong purification energy, which can purify the unholy
element and weaken this energy severely.
- Seiji Sequarian Energy: This is another unique energy to the
Seiji, like cethran energy, that is focused using their ether's
caliburn energy in unique ways. This energy is focused through
the cold nature of the Seiji, creating an energy that is not
only spiritual, but has a chilling aspect to it thanks to the
cold nature of the Seiji. While unique to the Seiji, this energy
has very similar properties to ice energy, as it super-cools due
to the effect of the energy. This energy works by countering
heat energy, and super-cooling anything the energy comes into
contact with. Unlike cethran energy that is read, this energy is
blue in color, and is used in waves of energy similar to other
energy user type attacks. When used, the Seiji use this to blast
opponents, but with the effects of the energy also super-cooling
objects, it creates an ice effect that the energy can influence.
With this influence, this gives Seiji the ability to manipulate
the ice created by their energy, usually to either attack using
the ice they create, or if they freeze someone, they can destroy
the frozen person by using the energy to break apart the ice.
This ice is very cold, being somewhat comparable to dry ice in
temperature, and advanced users may even be able to create ice
similar to that used in the 9th circle of hell (where masters of
this can create the same level of demonic ice). While fire can
defend against the cooling effects, it doesn't completely burn
away this energy like it would ice, which means that fire has
reduced effect against this power. On top of that, lightning
also doesn't do as much against it, as this energy has the
feature of not being an electrical conductor. And similar to
other powers, this power is also demonic in nature while also
having the purity of power that their caliburn energy possesses.
This can be fired in a wave of energy at opponents, or used to
create ice attacks out of this energy, or even used to freeze
opponents by focusing it through their physical touch if the
opponent is vulnerable to being frozen. This energy is also very
dangerous, and like cethran energy, no known race has any
immunity to this energy due to this being a unique energy. This
energy is still block-able or dodge-able like any other energy
though, and while fire and ice don't work as well, holy
elementals do work to some degree. Specifically, holy energy on
its own can be used to defend against this energy by countering
the demonic elements in it, or one can also sometimes use holy
fire or holy lightning if the elementals can counter the
super-cooled temperature of the ice created by the energy.
- Seiji Yorasukinesis: This is another power focused through
Seiji energies, but this uses a Seiji's energy from within their
bodies to create a powerful red blast wave they fire at
opponents. This power is similar to a telekinetic blast in
nature, in which it is designed to blast opponents with immense
concussive force. However, unlike telekinesis, this power's
shockwave fired works by using compressed force against energy
to create a powerful blast that will release a force that
presses hard against the opponent on impact (causing a reaction
that sends the opponent flying back from the impact by pushing
force on the cells of the body on impact) and will do far more
intense concussive force damage against opponents than normal
telekinetic blasts would. This energy is also a unique type of
energy that the Seiji possess, which is focused similarly to how
some demons focus their own demonic telekinesis (Making this a
demonic power type skill). This skill is very strong, designed
for physical damage over all else, although the energy used can
infect wounds and also cause temporary negation of healing (at
least until the wounds are purified). This power can do damage
to strong opponents, designed to be used against opponents with
things like concentrated mass. The damage done depends on the
mass and strength of the opponents, and how much gravitational
force can be used against their mass. Heavier opponents, such as
those with concentrated mass, or opponents that are larger, take
more damage from the gravitational force that presses against
them than those of smaller statures, due to how the power works
(concentrated mass opponents have more cells compacted into a
smaller area than those without, so the reaction of pushing
against the cells of the body is made much stronger by this
technique). This can also be used go create shields, where
instead of firing the blasts, Seiji can create shields of this
energy that can then be used to do things like reflect
projectiles back to the opponent, or can be used to block
physical attacks that can push the opponent back when they hit
the energy. However, as this is fired like a blast of energy, it
can be dodged as such, and can be blocked by strong enough
counters (as long as they account for the force exerted on them
on impact, which shouldn't be underestimated even among smaller
opponents).
- Seiji Tritherian Mana Users: This is a unique mana type
generated specifically by Seiji as a power they learned while
training in the ways of Seiji magic. Most Seiji are able to use
this in some form, in which is specifically used to power their
Seiji magic (All their Seiji magic specific spells run on this
mana) and their some of their dark or demonic magic (depending
on the Seiji and the type of magic). This mana is a form of red
mana that is neither normal, dark, or demonic mana, but a unique
mana specific to Seiji generated uniquely by their unique
bodies. This is the default mana for a Seiji (in which they do
have normal mana but they almost never use it since they have
very few powers that would ever use normal mana), whether it is
to learn how to use mana on its own (in which some can learn
things like mana user abilities), and they also use this to
power their Seiji magic. For the most part, it works similarly
to mana, but is a demonically generated energy. This mana seems
to sit somewhere in power between dark mana and demon mana
(Tritherian mana isn't usually quite as strong as the demon mana
used by high level demon sorcerers/magicians, but it is more
powerful than normal dark mana). This is a mana that only
Seiji's can use (requiring Seiji demonic energies to generate),
though they can give this to others to empower others with their
unique mana (usually used among allies for mana amplification).
While it still does fairly basic mana damage, Tritherian mana
also does forms of demonic damage that are somewhat unique to
the Seiji (meaning that this is not the same as demonic mana).
This is able to bypass mana immunities and demonic energy
immunities, due to the unique kind of energy that this mana
becomes when generated. Of course, as one might expect, this
does still have the same weaknesses as normal mana, where
enemies can still use the same weaknesses to normal mana. While
this does bypass normal immunities to mana and demon energy, it
can still be countered like any other energy (in which one just
needs a similar level or higher level energy to counter it). And
this can be canceled out just like normal mana. Holy energy also
works quite well due to this being a demonic nature power (holy
power is typically a good counter to many demonic Seiji
abilities).
- Seiji Magic: The Seiji, in addition to having affinities for
their spiritual type abilities using their ether, also have some
form of affinity for magic, and have their own brand of magic
that is specific to the Seiji. For Seiji, their magic runs on
their own special Tritherian mana, which grants their magic a
demonic aspect (though like their Tritherian mana, their magic
isn't quite demonic even though it is a demonic nature which
makes it able to affect those with demonic energy immunities).
Their magic works similar to human magic abilities, except that
the Seiji have their own brands of magic compared to humans. And
because Seiji have trained their magic heavily (even those that
don't have much magic have trained their magic affinities
usually), their magic is much more concentrated thanks to
special training where they are able to concentrate their
energies using concepts similar to their demonic spirit where
they have learned to concentrate stronger magics that let them
overpower other forms of magics. This magic is a type of demonic
magic which has been trained by Seiji to bypass normal magic
resistance and immunities, as well as demonic power immunities
(as Seiji had trained this to be used against demons since
demons sometimes hunt them down to kill them). For the most
part, Seiji have the same general magic categories as humans,
with them being able to use different magics like attack magic,
defense magic, elemental magic or ones that are unique to the
Seiji (in which they have some spells that are unique to their
brand of magic). The only thing they cannot use effectively is
holy magic, as it hurts them to use similar to how dark or
demonic magic can be dangerous to humans. Seiji mostly rely on
their own magic, in which their spells are usually broken down
into three types: attack/defense magic, buff/support magic and
elemental magic. Of course, there are other types of magic like
item enchantment or other magics that fall into their own
category, but those are the three general categories of magic
spells for most magics. For the most part, this can be defended
against like normal magic can, with other powers also typically
being able to counter magic in similar methods (IE elemental
magic is countered best by counter elements). The main
differences one has to account for are the tritherian mana that
powers Seiji magic, the more concentrated magic that makes it
stronger than other forms of magic, and the bypass of
resistances/immunities to magic and demonic power. If one can
account for those, then this is countered just like normal
magic.
- Seiji Dark/Demonic Magic: Similar to how humans have
affinities for holy type magic more than demonic or dark magic,
Seiji have affinities for dark magic and demonic type magic, and
power it using their tritherian mana (or in some cases they can
use dark mana or demonic mana to power these magics if they are
using general dark or demonic magic). For the most part, these
magics, which would normally have a cost, such as certain magics
doing damage to the use don't hurt the Seiji to use, and they
are able to use higher level dark magics without the same
negative effects that most humans or other magic users would
suffer from such magics. Seiji use demonic and dark magic far
more easily and with less cost of power than typical magic users
who use these magics, due to the Seiji specifically being made
to take the most advantage of these types of magics. And similar
to other magics, usually the magics are focused into the same
three categories: attack magic, defense/buff magic and elemental
magic (though there are other categories of magics as well that
others can learn, typically depending on the individual Seiji).
The biggest difference is that dark and demonic magic usually
have their own specialties, like dark magic being using darker
energies and shadows in it's magic and demonic magic using
demonic energy to power it. While some dark magics and demonic
magics can be powered by their own magic, most of these magics
do work the same way as their original counterparts do. And as
one might expect, these magics can be countered just as they
normally would (For example, holy power works against dark magic
and demonic magic). The only real difference between this and
typical dark/demonic magic other users have is that the Seiji
are able to use these magics without negative status effects
(for the most part), their magics cost less, and their magics
are sometimes powered by their tritherian mana in certain
situations (usually when Seiji are using Seiji variations of
spells using Seiji energy instead of normal mortal energy).
Seiji dark and demonic magic is also able to be countered by
those with magic resistances/immunities as long as it's not one
that is powered by tritherian mana. Magic negation and
anti-magic also work against this magic.
- Seiji Family Specialty Arts: When the Seiji were created, each
group of Seiji were created with a unique specialty art. This
was designed so that when the Seiji began to reproduce and start
families, they would diversify as new abilities were created
from the combinations of arts each group had. This would go on
to be known as family arts, where each Seiji group would refer
to their own unique traits as their own family arts. For
example, the Kazara family art is known to be the ability to
awaken dragon power, in which they eat dragon hearts that awaken
dragon abilities that they gain. Another example is the Entei
family, who specialize in demonic hollow power, where their
ethers were created with corrupted hollow energy, granting them
hollowficiation abilities. There are also the Caliburn Users of
the Torzoth family (variations of spirit users). Among other
specialties also include Tritherian Mana Users, Yellow Lantern
Users (In London), and even one family specializes in demon
blood manipulation. These arts usually depend on the
group/family of Seiji, as each group of family have different
specialties. And even among the same families, some may have
different methods of using skills, such as the Kazara family has
different dragon skills depending on the Kazara family member,
such as how Alathen has the power of a demon and void dragon,
while Kierran (in Aeron Kazara's body) as the power of a
darkness dragon. For the most part, there are subtle variations
and each family does have arts that make them specific to that
family. It is hard to quantify all the arts made, as there were
quite a few made. These are usually designed around specific
powers, and grant skillsets based on the power. And while these
arts are usually powerful and used quite skillfully by Seiji,
they do still have weaknesses, usually corresponding to the
power used. For example, the dragon power of the Kazara family
is weak to dragon hunter abilities, and the yellow lantern
energy used is also countered by other lantern energies used.
Every family has specific arts that have great strengths and
weaknesses (which should be listed by the player since each
family art is different).
- Seiji Dark/Demonic/Evil Spirit Arts: This is a highly advanced
kind of power that Seiji use, which uses their power to summon
evil spirits, darkness type spirits, or demonic spirits. Similar
to how some mortals use the spirit arts skill to use normal
spirits, Seiji call on the darker spirits which are far more
dangerous than normal spirits. The darker spirits are usually
evil spirits that come from the Shadow Realm, in which the Seiji
can call on specific kinds of evil spirits from the darkness.
This is a highly advanced form of dark arts, one that normally
requires great power and usually requires some form of sacrifice
to call on this power. However, Seiji are able to do this while
not using as much power and without the sacrifices needed,
thanks to their mastery of dark power that they possess (as they
were made to specifically take advantage of these abilities.
These arts usually involve some form of attack by the spirits,
which normally cannot be seen by anyone unless they have had
specific training to sense the spirits that make up the elements
of the world and govern the flow of the world (Though users can
see the attacks themselves usually since they usually involve
worldly elements). Among those that can see these spirits are
creatures like moglins who have a close relation to spirits, or
others who have had specific training to sense spirits. Usually,
if they haven't had this training, it just likes like an
advanced magic when the spirits attack them. Another thing to
note is that while this does use evil and darkness type spirits
from the Shadow Realm, this art DOES NOT use dark spirit power
or power from the realm of Xeles. Even the Seiji know not to
mess with that kind of power, and they avoid it just like almost
every other race. Of course, this follows the same rules as
general spirit arts (except that these are negative natured
instead of positive natured), so this can be countered by other
abilities. And since most of these abilities replicate magic
abilities using spirits, they are usually countered similar to
the magic abilities used, and in the case of the evil/darkness
type spirits, people can also use normal spirit arts, holy
power, or even other positive abilities to counter this as well.
- Seiji Unholy Curses Manipulation/Power Gain: There are plenty
of unholy curses in the world, many of which are usually
considered too dangerous for humans. However, some of these
curses are more useful to the Seiji (And some of which were
originally designed for Seiji, not humans), in which they are
able to make use of certain unholy curses much more than humans.
For example, curses such as vampirism or lycanthropy work much
better on Seiji with their dark natures, and some utilize these
curses to strengthen themselves immensely, granting them the
powers of other races. For the most part, Seiji use curses for
their own ends, using the negative power to power themselves up
and sometimes give them new abilities. For example, certain
curses that increase anger or hatred make a Seiji far stronger
and more focused since negative emotions are life to them.
Depending on the curses, many have different effects when used
on Seiji, and many negative powered curses that would hinder
humans or turn them into monsters could grant Seiji stronger
power and ability. For the most part, Seiji are pretty well
versed on much of the curses of the world, and know which ones
will power them up and which ones will not help them. Usually,
gaining new abilities is a bit of a conflict, as Seiji have to
determine if the powers are worth it, since they also gain the
weaknesses of the powers they gain (IE if they gain werewolf
abilities, they become vulnerable to silver). This usually
depends on the curse, as some are helpful, but others may not be
helpful to them. For example, there are a few curses that
generate fear in people, and while this is useful for the Seiji
in some cases, they don't gain any power from it unless they
have a way to either convert the fear into other power or they
can absorb fear specifically. However, there are certain curses
that can still be negative to the Seiji (usually positive
powered curses), such as a laughing curse that sends them into a
laughing fit can send them into a homicidal rage, as they only
laugh when their murderous intent is at its worst and they go
into homicidal rages. Usually this is done outside of battle,
though opponents that do use curses have to account for the
Seiji's difference in nature to use curses on them.
- Seiji Setranosis/Seiji Necromancy: Instead of demonic
resurrection where demons resurrect people, Seiji are able to
use their own brand of necromancy, which they refer to as
setranosis. When using this, a Seiji breathes some of their
caliburn energy, which can be mixed with other energies of the
Seiji into a dead being, and then this caliburn energy revives
the body (without bringing back the soul) to create a powerful
undead with a dark nature. This special version of their
necromancy is used to grant them special abilities they don't
normally have, in which Seiji can infuse some of their energies
into their undead to create more Seiji like undead (such as they
could infuse their Sequirian or Cethran energy into beings to
give them extra power they can use to fight opponents). Those
resurrected by this are basically puppets used by the Seiji
which are manipulated by the energy the Seiji breathes into the
being, and they gain whatever abilities the Seiji infuse into
them. This ability can be used on certain creatures to create
soldiers for a Seiji to use, as some have been known to use this
power similar to how some necromancers create undead creatures
through things like magic. Creatures created by this gain
certain energies Seiji use depending on the energy used in their
resurrection. Depending on the undead created, they still retain
their abilities, but gain demonic or Seiji-like variations of
power, such as holy users would gain corrupted holy variations
of their power, or those that use positive power may gain
demonic variations when turned into undead. This power can be
used pretty effectively to create soldiers and puppets, though
most Seiji don't use this except during when in desperate
situations since this power can draw attention to them, or make
their energies easier to understand if one studies the creatures
brought back, which they prefer to keep secret. They don't call
back souls when using this for a few reasons even though they
could. The first reason to avoid problems with the afterlife,
specifically Death and Toranoraos, and the second reason being
that souls tend to resist their specific brand of necromancy
pretty heavily. Most creatures created with this can be taken
down with holy powers, as they are mostly demonic in nature, and
a proper holy power destroying their heads or destroying the
energy that creates the undead will destroy it.
- Seiji Dark Chi Manipulation: Similar to how humans use chi,
Seiji have the ability to use their own chi as well. And much
like humans, the Seiji have positive and negative chi and
balance this based on their own personal balance they must
maintain much like any other chi user. However, Seiji have very
little actual positive chi, and mostly use their dark chi when
using chi abilities. For the most part, Seiji are designed to
use their chi the same way humans can, and can use it to power
chi style attacks. By using this, Seiji are able to use chi to
attack enemies, and when using their dark chi, they specialize
in dark chi arts that humans usually only use after choosing a
darker path. Unlike humans who have to choose a dark path to use
negative or dark chi arts, Seiji automatically gain dark chi
arts when they use chi, and they default to dark chi when using
chi abilities. Some are also even able to learn chi user
abilities, depending on their affinity, such as a group of Seiji
known as the Daolon Monks that consist of a number of families
specializing in different forms of dark chi arts (for example,
some families specialize in dark chi, some specialize in powers
like Zocato, or some may focus more on dark chi magic). There
are a number of ways to use chi, such as using chi elementals,
or learning chi magic (which Seiji do have their own dark chi
variation of Seiji magic some families may specialize in). For
the most part, Seiji utilize chi arts similarly to how humans
can, and can learn a number of chi arts, most of which require
training and learning how to utilize chi. Most Seiji don't use
chi usually, and the ones that are known to are the Daolon Monks
associated families. Anyone who uses dark chi usually still has
the same weakness as other dark chi users, in which positive
powers still counter their dark chi arts. Even Seiji chi magic
is still dark chi based, and most Seiji dark chi abilities still
work very similarly to how they would for other chi users. Aside
from those like the Daolon Monks, the Seiji don't really master
chi manipulation, and don't really learn it beyond the basic
abilities. And as mentioned, any chi weaknesses still apply to
those that want to use chi just like one might expect.
- Seiji Zocato Energy: This energy was one long forgotten after
the Pai Zhua's conflict against a spirit of destruction, which
converted people's natures to that of a dark nature and was
often seen as converting one to a pure evil nature. Not many
people know what this black energy is or how it works, as it's
relatively unknown to those outside of Pai Zhua and other chi
users who have heard of this ancient art. This art is one that
was developed for those of dark natures like the Seiji, or
designed for those that want purely dark natures. As such, this
worked great for the Seiji, as their Seiji natures are dark and
demonic in nature. This led the Seiji to being able to empower
themselves with this energy as an extension of their chi
training, where they were able to tap into this power through
practice and heavy training. When used, this energy is a darker
nature power that allows users to use their dark natures to
enhance their physical and supernatural abilities to much higher
levels by empowering oneself with dark emotions. This amplifies
someone considerably, in which a user taps into this using their
inner anger, which works great for Seiji who internalize their
anger and hatred. When used, this is usually used using dark chi
abilities, in which dark chi users use this as an advanced type
of dark chi. For the most part, this skill is a very powerful
chi type that Seiji can learn, and they can use it in place of
normal dark chi if they choose. Much like how other powers have
advanced versions, zocato is one of the advanced skills using
dark chi. Those that use this still utilize this like dark chi,
with the exception of the anger and hatred amplification this
power offers. As such, it does still have weaknesses against
positive powers, and while it can overpower normal positive
powers, there are positive equivalents such as those with
advanced positive energies can usually counter this energy, such
as certain types of advanced chi that are positive in nature.
And depending on the Seiji's skill level, this may be a basic
attack skill which isn't usually fully mastered by Seiji, with a
few exceptions of those like the Daolon Monks who specifically
seek to master this power.
Seiji Demonic Abilities:
- Demon Energy Manipulation: This is a power that comes from
those with demonic natures, in which they can utilize demonic
energy once they fully tap into their demonic nature and learn
to call this energy forth that acts as the basis of their power.
To start with, Seiji learn demonic energy, in which this is a
basic unholy energy used by demons. Demonic energy is an unholy
energy that is used to attack opponents, and does unholy damage
when used. Demonic energy is often also used to power demon
arts, or power demonic abilities. Depending on how its used,
demonic energy is the most known unholy energy among most, where
demonic energy is often the first thing people think of when
thinking of unholy power. While this is most often used for
things like demon arts, or demonic elementals, or even demonic
magic, many demonic entities can also use this to outright
attack enemies with demonic energy. As time goes on, demon users
can even refine this energy the more they use it, where they can
do things like condensing it, or they can use it for other
things, such as using demonic energy to empower unholy
opponents, or weaken holy opponents. Depending on the skill
level, demon energy is a fairly basic power that almost all
demonic creatures usually possess in some form, and can be used
in a variety of ways depending on the type of demon. And as a
user refines their demon energy, they may even eventually be
able to tap into stronger demonic energies as time goes on (more
in advanced demonic energies). Typically, this is a basic
energy, and is used as such. Demon energy, when used on its own,
is much like other energies, and is an opposite to holy energy
and angelic energy. When combating this, usually holy or angelic
energy is the best counter to this, though many energy types can
be used to counter other energies, and this is no different.
Other energies can usually counter demon energy on its own. And
any demon arts that are used by any counters to the art (Such as
demonic magic is countered by holy magic, or demonic elementals
are countered by other elementals). And while refining this
energy makes it more useful and users can learn to use it very
effectively without needing advanced demonic energies, this is a
basic energy that usually cannot be used to counter higher level
energies, since this is a very basic energy that is not strong
enough to counter other stronger and more advanced energies that
exist.
- Demon Aura and Advanced Demonic Energies: As demonic energy
users learn and grow, they eventually gain access to stronger
demonic powers at a certain level. One such energy is demon
aura, which is used by fusing demon energy to one's own demonic
aura energy to create a unique kind of demonic energy that is
more powerful than normal. Demon aura uses less power than
normal demonic energy because of how much more powerful it is,
due to the fact that one uses half as much demon energy as the
other half is energy they take from their aura they radiate
outward. However, the reason demon aura is an advanced power is
for one simple reason: the ability to combine demonic power and
demonic aura is something that isn't as easy as it sounds, and
requires more than just combining the two. This does create a
twice as potent energy as normal, but this technique requires a
certain refinement of demon energy and demonic aura to create
demon aura. Once a user has reached that refinement level of
their demonic power, they can eventually learn to use this. When
used, this allows for a much more powerful demonic energy which
is used much like normal demon energy except that it is twice as
powerful while using the same amount of energy. This works much
like normal demonic energy, and can be used in much the same way
to power techniques and abilities using demon power. However,
there are also other advanced demonic energies out there beyond
just demon aura, and there are a number of other powers demons
can learn if they know how they work. For the most part, demon
aura is typically countered the same way as other demon powers,
where users can use equivalent holy powers or other energies to
counter this as well. Since it is twice as powerful as demon
energy, this is best countered by other equivalent. It's most
direct counter is celestial force, which is an advanced angelic
power that is meant to counter demon aura specifically. And any
powers used with demon aura still have the same weaknesses as
before except that the skills are more powerful. And any
advanced demon powers a user might learn typically depend on the
power, as each power will usually have it's own strengths and
weaknesses.
- Shadow/Unholy Shadow Manipulation: Many know that darkness
manipulation is one of the main powers of a demon or a lot of
demonic entity (in this case, the Seiji). When it comes to
demonic creatures, most demonic creatures learn darkness and
unholy darkness manipulation in some form. When it comes to
demons, demons use normal darkness, but they also use unholy
darkness by fusing their demonic energy to their darkness to
create an unholy darkness (It should be noted that demonic
darkness is a different power requiring demon aura and darkness,
and is a darkness skill not easily learned even by darkness
users). Users are able to do things like meld into shadows to
use shadow travel, manipulate the basicity/acidity of their
shadows to make them more corrosive, or even use darkness
projectiles to try and spear opponents. Some advanced users can
use darkness for other things, such as manipulating gravity and
distorting time and space (which requires a scientific
understanding of how dark energy affects gravity and
distortions). Some master level users may even be able to create
small black holes using darkness to absorb light and physical
matter temporarily (though these black holes usually cost a lot
of energy to maintain, and opponents can usually avoid these if
they take proper precautions). Another method of using this is
that some have learned to use heat absorption using darkness,
which they then utilize to create freezing energy once all the
heat of an area is removed. For the most part, demonic creatures
use unholy darkness in battle, and don't really learn other
forms of darkness unless they gain specific abilities to do so.
Typically, the biggest real danger of using darkness is if the
users connect to the shadow realm, which can be dangerous to
almost any creature due to all the creatures that live in the
shadow realm, and is usually avoided (Unless the user really
knows what they're doing and how to avoid dangers in the shadow
realm like avoiding shadow beasts and avoiding the realm of
Xeles in the Deep Shadow Realm). In terms of countering this
power, one can counter it just like most other darkness
manipulations, with the most obvious answer being that one can
use light. For demons who use unholy darkness, holy power is
also a great way to counter their unholy darkness, and angelic
holy light is typically the direct counter to unholy darkness.
- Seiji Hellfire Generation/Manipulation: When it comes to
hellfire, there's not many people who don't know how dangerous
hellfire is. Hellfire is a type of crimson flame that is much
hotter than normal flames, and usually able to overpower other
flame types (unless they burn at the same higher temperature as
hellfire). This fire is a demonic energy infused flame, creating
a powerful flame that is powered by demonic power. When used,
those with demonic power have access to this hellfire as part of
their demonic nature (unless they have access to another demonic
element, in which case they may have another element instead of
this). When used, this can be used just like any other fire
manipulation, where demonic power users are able to utilize it
to do things like create explosive attacks, burn people, or even
melt objects. Advanced users of fire are also able to do things
like manipulate the explosive nature of flames, use melting
points to more easily pierce through objects, or some advanced
users can even learn plasma manipulation if they advance their
knowledge of fire properties using scientific knowledge. Fire is
often known for being one of the more destructive elements,
since it is designed to burn and consume objects which many fire
users have to master in order to use their fire manipulation to
its utmost potential. And as mentioned, hellfire is a bit unique
in that it also does damage using demonic energy, where the
demonic energy in this can burn others to the touch, making it
useful against certain flame users who don't have immunity to
demonic energy (though some fire users who can absorb and learn
elementals can usually gain this fire type and then become
immune to the demonic energy effect of hellfire). In terms of
countering hellfire, it is more difficult due to the high
temperatures, but not impossible. Cold enough ice manipulation
can counter hellfire, with dry ice manipulation being the best
way to this due to dry ice having a much lower temperature. This
can also be countered with some other holy equivalents, such as
holy flames or divine flames summoned from Heaven (which is
usually a more direct counter to hellfire). Users can also use
knowledge of flames to counter them, depending on their powers
and abilities, such as earth users may be able to smother
flames, or wind users may be able to create a vacuum where fire
cannot burn. The Seiji, having been forged in hell, have a
powerful affinity for using and generating their own hellfire.
Their bodies are able to emit hellfire at will, without them
needing to summon it from hell like many hellfire users.
- Seiji Demonic Presence: Almost all demonic entities have some
sort of demonic presence, which many have learned to weaponize.
When a demonic entity is present, almost all demonic entities
leave some trace of their presence that usually identifies them.
This is different depending on the demon and their abilities.
Most commonly, demons leave sulfur behind as part of their
presence, as their demonic natures usually generate sulfur as a
byproduct of their demonic power. All demons have some sort of
presence that they give off and many generate this sulfur.
However, not all demonic entities produce sulfur, as there are
some demonic entities that produce other traces of their
presence (such as how fomors commonly generate a unholy seawater
type presence). Most demonic entities are able to suppress this
presence so others can't sense them usually, but demonic
entities leave at least some behind which can usually identify
them as demonic entities regardless of how well the suppress
themselves. This is mostly just an effect of a demon's presence
in an area, an effect that actually tends to make them easier to
track. However, there is an advantage to this for demonic
entities, as some demons have learned to weaponize this presence
depending on the presence. Some use this in combination with
other demonic abilities, generating sulfur for their own
purposes, usually those with a more scientific understanding of
how sulfur interacts with other elements. This eventually became
a weapon that some normal demons learned to use that cannot
suppress their presence enough, where they can do fight others
using their presence's sulfur, such as using molten sulfur as an
explosive substance, or a water demon using sulfur to create
sulfuric acid manipulation. Though some demons like Lucifer or
Asmodeus may light up an area with their presence, or some
demons have unique effects like areas growing strong with energy
or storms appearing overhead for more powerful demons with
weather manipulation abilities. However, even demons with unique
presences have learned to weaponize their presence in some
fashion as weaponizing their presence was the only way many
demons found to make use of this presence if it is going to make
them easier to track. This usually just depends on the demon and
their affinities, as well as how their power interacts with
their presence. And as stated, this presence does have the major
weakness of being easier to track. And those that want to
counter this can counter it by countering whatever presence is
used. For example, if one is using sulfur presence, one can
counter it with hydrogen peroxide. It is also possible to
counter many demonic presences with holy power as well due to
the demonic nature.
- Seiji Ethereal Plane Projection: Like some other beings, the
Seiji have the ability to project their ethers (which is their
spiritual presence) into the ethereal plane. Many are familiar
with the concept of an "out of body" experience, but Seiji learn
to utilize it when they choose to thanks to their enhanced
spiritual abilities using their ethers. When projected, there
are a few things that one can do when in astral projection.
Those with this are able to go to the Veil where spirits are
usually found, or the user can attempt to go to the Spirit
Realm, which is a realm where natural spirits reside, if they
are able to perceive the spirits. Typically, this allows a user
to more easily access spiritual planes, where they can go there
as a spirit rather than as a physical being. A major use for
this is that some learn to interact with dead spirits this way,
since some spirits are harder to interact with in the living
world under normal circumstances. However, because of people
like Barbas who found ways to use this more creatively, there
are also other ways to use this as well. Some more devious users
have learned to use this to follow people and whisper
suggestions to them, as a means to try and mislead them, or some
have even learned to possess others using this ability. Advanced
users of this can even go into people's dreams as well, even
being able to take control of someone else's dreams once they
learn how the dreaming process works from inside the mind. This
technique can be quite useful to certain Seiji depending on what
they use it for, and some Seiji have unique arts for this that
they may use. However, the major danger is what happens when one
is in astral projection, because their body remains vulnerable
while they are in this form (since they are not technically in
their body, their body could be attacked and they likely
wouldn't know). Another danger to this is that when one accesses
places like the spiritual or astral plane, their spirit may be
noticed by other entities, with the major one being dark spirits
who may attack them to try when in astral projection. For the
most part, there is one general rule to remember when dealing
with the spirit plane: When you see them, they see you. Other
than that, things like possession and astral suggestion still
work just as one would think, and the same weaknesses apply as
they would to any other uses of these powers. Seiji also may be
easier to attract spirits that may want to devour their ethers,
due to how unique their ethers are. Seiji have to be careful
when projecting themselves, or else they may attract unwanted
attention when projecting their ethers (Such as hollows or dark
spirits may seek them out, and if demons catch them on the
ethereal plane, they may attack Seiji).
- Seiji Demonic Teleportation: Demonic entities have a few
options when it comes to teleportation. The first is that
demonic entities can use a specific teleportation art, where
some demonic entities can use demonic teleportation arts. These
are usually unique to certain types of demons, such as some who
can move through the elements using demonic elementals, or some
that may have things like shadow travel, or demons can also use
Hell's Gates to move between hell and earth. The second option
is that demons have basic teleportation abilities that many
other supernaturals have, where demons are able to teleport
using supernatural power. Depending on the demonic entity, they
may have unique ways of teleporting, or they may decide to use
generic demonic teleportation that uses basic supernatural
power. Most usually work in one of two ways. The first is that
they connect to an area somehow, in which their teleportation
connects to an area and they use it to go there. This method is
usually a fairly instant teleportation, where users can just
teleport at will as long as they have the energy to teleport.
The second method is teleport using portals where some demonic
entities may do things like creating demonic magic portals, or
some demons may have arts that create portals to other areas.
This is usually done through incantations or preparation, where
a demon creates a portal that connects two areas. Typically,
teleportation using portals is more reliable than just
teleporting, since this focuses on connected two areas and
doesn't usually require as much concentration. Depending on the
art, there are different ways to use this, but almost all arts
usually end with the same result of allowing a demon to get from
point A to point B by teleportation rather than having to travel
there by normal means. However, no matter the art, a demon
usually has to know where they want to go, and if they don't,
they may end up anywhere in the world if they either don't have
a location in mind, or they get messed up at certain moments
while teleporting. And depending on the level of error, some
have ended up in random areas without meaning too. Also, most
teleportations cannot usually travel to other universes or
through time, unless the demon has some form of distortion power
or some way of breaking the time-space barriers that separate
the universes and timelines. However, there are some demonic
entities that can travel through time, but this usually takes a
lot of energy to do so.
- Seiji Demon Telekinesis/Shockwaves: Most demons have some form
of demonic telekinesis that they gain with their demonic nature,
in which they can grab, throw or hold things using telekinetic
power. This is a power that utilizes demon power, and is
essentially a demonic equivalent of psychic telekinesis. When
using this skill, a user can manipulate objects psychically, or
they can use this on people as well. When used, the telekinesis
controls an object or person, focused by how the user wants to
use this. Many know uses of this such as being able to throw
objects at people, or using it to stop people who are attacking
them. Many demons usually use this for intimidation and
efficiency, where they use it to telekinetically affect others.
Simple users of this will often use this on objects to control
objects or affect people, but more advanced users can often come
up with better ways to use this. For example, some users can use
this on themselves to fly using telekinetic flight, or some can
even use this to create blasts of energy by manipulating the
air, or some can even telekinetically affect gravity when using
telekinesis on the area around them. Other advanced users of
this can do things like stopping projectiles, with some even
being able to reflect projectiles once they catch them with
telekinesis. Some users may even be able to reshape objects,
such as crushing an object with telekinesis (if they have strong
enough power to do so). This power allows a user to do a variety
of things, depending on how creative the user gets. Those that
are familiar with this power know how dangerous it can be, and
how hard it can be to avoid. Some demonic entities can also do
things to affect people using this power, such as using this on
their voice box to silence them. Some more advanced demons can
even do things like heating up objects with their telekinesis,
or even generating electrical power depending on how they use
it. However, there are a few ways to avoid this. For example,
fast enough opponents can avoid getting grabbed by this
completely if they move faster than the user's telekinesis, or
some users can protect themselves with certain wards and energy
abilities. Energy defense is a good way to protect oneself, as
it can act like a barrier that the user will have to break first
before they can affect the person. Another thing to note is that
even if one doesn't have energy, strong enough opponents can
resist telekinetic manipulation if they are strong enough to
overpower the telekinesis (requiring raw strength and force of
will that surpasses the user). As for objects, the telekinesis
used on objects to throw or reflect them can still be dodged or
blocked as normal. Seiji were made with this skill, and are born
with it. Seiji use it in much the same way demons do, except
that their power using this isn't as strong as full demons,
unless the Seiji has strong psychic power.
- Seiji Demon Possession: Demonic entities have two main choices
when possessing people. Demonic entities are usually able to
enter people and possess them, in which they take complete
control of the body and suppress the mind of the person they
possess. Depending on the entity, some entire the body through
spiritual possession, or demonic entities that can shift into
things like demonic smoke may enter the body and take possession
of the body. This is a forced possession that can be used on
almost any kind of being, and the demonic entity can control the
body. And if a person gives someone permission to possess them,
then the demonic entity can get an even stronger hold. There are
a few advantages to this. When used, a demonic entity can make
use of any knowledge or abilities the user has, which is most
often the most common reason demonic beings may possess others
(aside from some being required to in order to interact with the
physical plane since some can only interact with the spiritual
plane). And when used, demonic entities can also use their
possessed as an extra body, where they will use the body as an
extra body so that they don't take damage when attacked, as the
body will be the one that takes the attack unless one uses a
demon killing weapon. However, there are a few downsides to this
method, just as angelic possession has it's downsides. The first
is that stronger minds might be harder to suppress and control,
which can cause the demon to have to fight for control, and can
sometimes even be forced out if the person is strong willed
enough, especially if certain exorcisms and Enochian sigils are
used to weaken the demon. The second is that supernatural
hunters tattoo a certain mark on them that acts like an
anti-possession ward, and anyone with this ward cannot be
possessed by a demon unless it is a voluntary possession where
the user gives permission to be possessed (like with angelic
possession). And when in possession of a person, a demon can be
killed if the host is killed with a demon-killing weapon, such
as a demon killing blade or an angel blade. While it does
usually kill the host, this does kill a demon if they are in
possession of someone.
- Seiji Shapeshift: Seiji are able to use a demonic style
shapeshift, in which they are able to change their presence as
they desire whether it's to blend into a crowd or if they have
arts that let them shapeshift into battle type forms that may
have certain abilities. This is very similar to demonic
shapeshifting, except that Seiji are able to use this to change
their presence more completely, combining it with their presence
manipulation to make themselves appear as almost anything they
desire (though they cannot do things like replicate the
abilities of a unique creature who's abilities they may not
have). The forms they can take are dependent on their
imagination, and the arts that they possess (as some Seiji do
possess some shapeshifting arts such as one family who uses
beast form arts). And when it comes to Seiji specifically, some
Seiji who use this to try to replace someone have even been
known to use their demonic eye abilities or their smoke essence
to get the memories and perceptions of someone to more
completely imitate them in a way that makes their imitation more
complete than most other forms of shapeshifting and presence
manipulation. For the most part, while they mostly shapeshift to
blend in, they are also able to use shapeshifting in battle for
different combat techniques that they use. In this regard, Seiji
can use this to shapeshift their bodies using arts, such as
shapeshifting their hands into claws, or shapeshifting wings to
fly. Some are even able to take the essence of others and
shapeshift into them to gain some of their abilities
temporarily, such as absorbing some dragon essence to gain
hardened dragon skin. Depending on what they change into, they
are able to use their abilities with other beastly forms to
battle opponents. However, the one thing to keep in mind is that
their mass stays the same, no matter what they turn into, so if
they change into a large dragon, their mass would be their
normal size and a larger form would be a lot easier to damage
due to less mass, while turning into something like a rat or
rodent type creature would make them far harder to kill due to
concentrated mass. They stay the same mass, for better or worse.
Also, any essence they absorb to shapeshift will not only grant
some strengths, but the temporary weaknesses of the person's
essence they absorb. And they cannot absorb holy or angelic
essences to use this since their bodies reject holy or angelic
forms completely (due to their demonic nature).
- Seiji Demonic Ally Healing and Corruption: Unlike angels who
heal and purify, demonic entities don't need to "purify" unholy
power. Instead, they fight holy power by using the power of
corruption, where they use their demonic energy to cause
corruption rather than purify others. When used on an ally, a
demonic entity uses corruption to heal demonic allies, where
demonic entities use the corruption to essentially heal a
demonic ally. This power works similar for demons how an angel's
healing and purification power works for them, where they use
this to heal each other. While this would normally cause
problems, demonic entities control how this works, and use it to
repair and heal, and can even cure some sicknesses by destroying
the sicknesses. And if a holy user or a positive power user
infects them with positive energy, then demonic entities can
also use demonic corruption to destroy the positive power, in
which it counters positive power the same way positive power
counters demonic corruption. Because they are purely unholy in
nature, demons have to use this method instead of purification
and normal healing due to their demonic nature. This is
necessary to counter positive energy that may infect a demonic
ally, in which the corruption counters the holy power and can
also strengthen an ally. Depending on the demonic entity, most
don't usually use this unless they have to, as they usually rely
on their demonic regeneration before they rely on this. They
also rely on this partially to break holy wards, by using their
corruption to slowly break a holy ward by using their corruption
to destroy the holy energy of a ward. This means that wards to
keep out demons can be broken using this power, but this might
take time depending on the demon and how powerful their
abilities are. They do also have restoration powers to a degree,
where they are able to fix objects that are damaged or broken,
which is another power that they rarely ever use. Typically,
their powers of healing and restoration are similar to an
angels, except for their corruption to remove holy afflictions
being different from purification for the obvious reasons of
this being made to counter holy power rather than use it.
Stronger demons have stronger abilities to do this, just as
stronger angels have stronger healing and purification
abilities. And for the most part, this is for recovery and
healing more than anything, and is not something that really is
meant to attack opponents (even though demonic corruption can be
used to attack opponents).
- Seiji Demonic Mind Manipulation: Unlike angels who mostly just
knock someone unconscious, demonic entities have the ability to
manipulate minds of people, usually planting suggestions or
orders into their minds. Similar to the sleeping touch power of
angels, this is done with demons through physical touch, in
which the demon touches the forehead and then implants any
orders or manipulation using this power by connecting to the
mind of the person they want to affect. Unlike angels who
typically do this to avoid fighting, demons use this in order to
manipulate humans and other beings they want to use, with most
of them being able to use this on anyone who is able to be
manipulated depending on what the demon wants to do. Some demons
may even have unique demon arts that allow them to use special
mind manipulation arts, as some have special arts that use this
power. While this doesn't work well against those that can
resist or are immune to mind manipulation, this is often a good
way for demons to use people to get information, since they can
plant orders and manipulate them to do something for them so
that they don't have to do it themselves. They are also able to
manipulate memories, just like angels are able to with their
sleeping touch. This works much the same way, where demons
simply have to figure out what they want to remove or change.
However, if a demon tries to remove a memory, they have to be
careful, because if they don't replace the memory, then a blank
spot will appear in the victim's mind and could cause the
victim's mind to fill the blank spot with false memories (the
demon has no control over the replacement memory that comes
about). This power is only usable on normal humans and weaker
supernaturals, and cannot be used against those that are immune
to mind manipulation. Those with stronger wills can usually
resist this power, and those with certain training may not even
be able to be affected by this power depending on their training
(Such arts may include psychic shields that prevent mind
manipulation). Typically, those stronger than the demon can
usually overpower this, as this only works on those below the
demon's level. For Seiji, they mostly use this using their smoke
essence, where they use it to affect people. The Seiji have
their own arts for this, different from that of normal demons,
but the weaknesses are mostly the same as demonic entities who
use this (for the most part).
- Seiji Demonic Ally Amplification: Demonic entities are able to
amplify those that ally with them, in which they are able to
strengthen their allies (typically empowering each other). The
most common use of this is when a demonic entity empowers
another demonic entity, and the demon gains enhanced demonic
power and enhanced physical stats. Some demons can been able to
also grant specific other defenses to others, such as some
demons granting defense against certain abilities, like some
with other abilities may grant their power to others to grant
them a resistance to it. This usually depends on the demon and
their abilities, as every demon typically has some unique way to
amplify someone, as there are many demon arts out there that use
demonic amplification, such as demonic magic using amplification
or just empowering them with unique demonic power to give a
demon temporary boosts in power and ability. When used, a demon
simply needs to pass their demonic energy to a person, or use a
demonic art that uses amplification of allies. Demonic entities
can not only empower others with basic demonic abilities, but
some can even power up lesser demons with advanced demonic
energies and powers to grant them enhanced ability temporarily.
This amplification works on demons as well as many other
supernaturals, and typically works best when used on those with
unholy natures (since this uses an unholy nature amplification.
This was originally designed for guardian angels who developed
this power in order to help protect the people they would guard
from harm, but was adapted by demons into a way for them to use
this to empower their allies. Demonic enhancement is far more
powerful than angelic enhancement, but over time, if overused,
can damage a being due to the immense spiritual power of demons.
Because of this, demons have to be careful, and only use this
when absolutely necessary. Unlike angels who use this on humans,
demons mostly use this on each other, though sometimes they have
human followers they might empower if they are working with
followers. And if used, this empowerment can be countered by
those that use other methods of empowerment, depending on the
opponent and their abilities. And some higher level beings may
even be at a high enough level to not need enhanced abilities,
as this is often used to boost someone up to higher level
enemies. Seiji have their own amplification arts, using Seiji
magic.
- Seiji Demonic Resurrection: Just like angels, a demon is able
to bring someone back to life using their demonic power. Demonic
resurrection is able to bring the dead back to life, in which
they tap into the same power that angels use that allows them to
bring back the dead. Thanks to their abilities, they are usually
able to resurrect anyone they desire to, as long as certain
conditions are met. This doesn't grant new abilities when people
are revived, but instead just brings them back to life and heals
them completely. However, there are some things to note with
this. The first is that they must have the body and the soul of
the person they are trying to bring back (the soul is not
absolutely necessary, but recommended). They can bring someone
back with just the body of the person who died, but that can be
a double edged sword since bringing someone back without a soul
brings their body back, but leaves them soulless. This causes
problems, as without a soul, people lose any emotional abilities
and ability to generate emotions. Usually, demonic entities can
bring souls from hell pretty easily, but taking souls from
heaven is impossible for demonic entities without the consent of
heaven, since demonic entities don't have any status with heaven
and cannot get into heaven to steal souls, which can be a chore
to convince heaven to let them bring someone back. For the most
part, this is only done in rare circumstances, usually requiring
a heavenly decree, or requiring the permission of either Death
or Toranoraos (usually both) before even demons will even
attempt to bring someone back, or it is someone they really
need. This also takes a great amount of energy from a demon, and
even a high level demon can use up a lot of power to do this.
The other downside is that demonic resurrections usually require
a price, usually a life for a life, as that is the price of
bringing someone back. The recoil effects from black magic
resurrections usually aren't an issue with demonic resurrection,
unless the demon doesn't properly pay the price of bringing back
the person. However, the only demons usually allowed to do this
are high level demons (usually demon princes), and even doing
so, most have to be careful about how they do it. For Seiji,
they can bring people back, but they are limited in the same
methods that demons are.
- Seiji Exorcism Chants and Spells: Seiji, much like demons and
angels, have knowledge of exorcisms including trapping and
casting angels, demons and even fallen angels. Seiji have their
own method of exorcisms, where they have developed equivalents
of many other methods used by other races to trap demons, angels
and fallen angels. For example, Seiji utilize special angelic
sigils that work on both angels and fallen angels, as the Seiji
version of sigils used against angels account for the
differences between angels and fallen angels. Their angelic
sigils also work on those demons that retain enough of their
angelic powers, depending on the demon. However, they also have
demonic exorcisms they use with their demonic power, which are
different from normal demonic exorcisms. Seiji developed these
so that normal demonic exorcisms wouldn't affect them, since
they can be affected by some demonic weaknesses. This lets Seiji
use these exorcisms to cast out angels, fallen angels and
demons, depending on the exorcisms done and how they are done.
The Seiji have a number of ways to do this, where their two main
methods are through Seiji magic, or through exorcism chants.
When using magic, Seiji utilize magic to cast out angels, demons
and/or fallen angels, where they need only use the appropriate
spell to cast out whatever being they want to cast out. The
other method that is used, is where Seiji utilize special chants
to exorcise demons, angels and/or fallen angels. For chants, the
Seiji utilize their own specially designed chants, which work
similarly to things like Enochian or Hebrew chants to cast out
creatures. However, when using this, the main thing is that the
chants used don't affect the Seiji, so Seiji are able to use
this freely. For the most part, this is meant for casting out
angels, fallen angels, and demons, and is mostly a non-lethal
way of doing so (mostly for when Seiji face stronger opponents
they can't beat normally, and need a quick getaway). As such,
this rarely ever does damage to a person, and is more an
inconvenience than anything. And like most exorcism chants,
beings cast out can usually return within a few hours.
- Seiji Magic Traps: In addition to exorcisms they developed,
Seiji also have traps and wards that they have developed with
Seiji magic. These are designed to be used on objects or on
surfaces, where the Seiji usually applies a paper with a Seiji
spell drawn into it that can be used for a few different
purposes depending on the spells used. The first is traps, where
Seiji can set up spells that are meant to trap certain kinds of
creatures. For the most part, Seiji traps are meant to trap
angels, fallen angels and demons, where their default traps will
trap anything of those three natures. However, they also have
other traps they can use, where they can tailor their traps to
other beings based on the spell used. For example, they could
stop a vampire or werewolf by tailoring their trap spell to
them, which is usually done by altering the spell with Seiji
magic knowledge. Typically, Seiji can attune their spells to
most creatures, aside from a few. When enemies trigger these
traps, Seiji are able to trap the being in a contained area,
where they will be trapped as long as the spell is active. There
are even some that can create small pocket dimensions which can
trap beings inside as long as the spell is active. Some Seiji
have unique arts for this, but for the most part, this acts like
any other trap, where the traps are usually over a small area to
keep a being in one spot for an extended amount of time. This is
particularly useful if a Seiji needs to escape, where this was
designed to allow Seiji time to escape while a being is stuck.
And when certain spells are activated, there are spells that
utilize hellfire circles to keep someone trapped as well, which
is useful to trap enemies. Combined with Seiji magic, this can
even trap other demonic entities, as this was meant to be used
against all forms of angels and demons except for other Seiji.
However, while these are effective, they do have to be tuned to
the creature the Seiji wants to trap. For example, a vampire
trap cannot catch an angel, as each trap is tailored to specific
creatures. And if trapped, opponents can eventually break these
traps, as they just need to break the traps by destroying the
paper that is used for the trap's spell. The best way to break a
trap spell is to break the surface the paper is attached to,
which can deactivate the trap if the surface is broken or
destroyed.
- Seiji Magic Wards: This is the next thing that Seiji have
developed. When using this, Seiji utilize magic in much the same
way they do traps, except that they focus their magic to ward an
area. This is a type of protection spell, in which the Seiji
ward an area to whatever creature they have tailored their wards
to. This ward protects an area that the Seiji puts the ward in,
and keeps other beings from noticing or being able to enter the
area. Depending on the ward, there are a few wards that Seiji
use. The first is that they can keep an area from being noticed
by supernatural senses of certain creatures, such as warding
against angels and demons could counter an angel or demon's
ability to sense others. This is often used on areas to keep
Seiji from being noticed, where they hide their presence so that
beings cannot sense them. The other way this is used is to keep
beings out, where they can tailor their wards to keeping beings
out of areas they have warded. Many are familiar with how wards
work these days, where those that are warded against cannot
enter the area, unless the wards are either destroyed, or the
wards are overpowered by a stronger being. The Seiji have magic
wards for many kinds of creatures, where they can ward against
many supernatural creatures. They need only tailor it to
whatever creatures they want to keep out or keep from noticing
them, and then place the wards on surfaces in the area they want
to ward. Seiji will often use this on their home areas, where
they will usually use this to keep their homes secret from
beings who might hunt them. This uses Seiji magic, where a Seiji
simply has to place the ward spell on it to use it. These wards
are usually defaulted to keeping out angels, fallen angels and
demons, since those are usually the biggest threats to Seiji.
This uses Seiji magic, which can affect other beings, but don't
affect the Seiji since the Seiji made sure they wouldn't be
affected by their own wards. However, depending on the being and
their senses and abilities, wards may only work temporarily, as
beings may still see through wards, or even break wards if they
have the power to overpower the wards. And typically, high
enough level creatures may even be able to ignore these wards,
since some beings being high level can outright counter wards,
such as how if Lucifer were to show up, wards would be next to
useless against him.
- Seiji Demonic Ability: Corrupted Grounds: Because the Seiji
are demonic, and there are those that have warded against them,
the Seiji have developed their own methods to break wards and
enter areas that they normally wouldn't be able to. The major
way Seiji utilize this is to use demonic corruption through
Seiji magic, where they are able to use this in a few ways. The
first is that Seiji can create their own equivalent of
sanctified grounds. In doing this, this was originally designed
so that Seiji could set up their own demonic churches, which the
Seiji can still use to create corrupted grounds. When doing
this, Seiji can create areas where angelic beings and holy users
take damage when they enter the area, taking damage the same way
an unholy creature would take holy damage on sanctified grounds.
Seiji do this by releasing demonic corruption over an area, and
then letting that corruption soak into an area until it creates
corrupted grounds where the Seiji will not only be able to move
through easily, but can be used to strengthen them when they are
on corrupted grounds. These days, Seiji use this ability to make
their homes and places they frequent harder for holy people to
track them, where they make it so that those with holy power
cannot sneak up on them in such places. The other way that Seiji
use this is to overcome sanctified grounds. By releasing demonic
corruption in the same way they would create corrupted grounds,
the Seiji can cancel out a sanctified area if they release
enough demonic corruption. When used, this works by using
demonic corruption in the same manner, but instead of creating
corrupted grounds, it cancels out the sanctification of the area
to make it a neutral area again. This can also work against
areas warded against Seiji using holy wards, where Seiji can
break holy wards through this demonic corruption as well. This
is a very useful ability, as Seiji can use this to get into
areas they normally wouldn't be able to. However, areas that are
broken by this can be re-sanctified once the area is purified of
demonic energy, and just how Seiji counter sanctified grounds,
holy users can also counter corrupted grounds the same way, but
purifying the grounds through sanctification, which neutralizes
corrupted grounds.
- Seiji Magic Ability: Destroy Heaven's/Hell's Gate Pieces and
God Fragments: Because Seiji had to develop ways to counter
higher level abilities, Seiji also developed ways of fighting
things like Heaven's Gate and Hell's Gate pieces, as well as God
Fragments. While Seiji are usually not at the higher level
demonic power needed to normally destroy Heaven's/Hell's Gate
pieces or God Fragments (Normally this would require demon
prince level power), they have developed spells using Seiji
magic that are designed to utilize their magic to target those
that use Heaven's/Hell's Gate pieces or God Fragments. Because
they have had to fight such opponents, they developed this as a
means to fight them. When used, Seiji utilize special spells
which attack whatever piece they want to destroy, and then if
that magic spell hits the target, it can damage, eventually
destroying whatever piece it is targeting. For example, when
facing someone with a God Fragment, Seiji attack them with a
special spell targeting God Fragments, which can damage and
destroy them with the power of the Seiji magic. This magic works
by destabilizing what they're attacking, until the pressure
built up breaks the piece completely. If used correctly, this
destroys the piece completely, and the person using the piece
loses any benefit that the piece gave them (such as Hell's Gate
or Heaven's Gate negating certain abilities and weakening
others). This was designed to combat those that used higher
level powers by fusing these pieces to themselves, which Seiji
had to learn how to fight for when those pieces were used
against them. Any Seiji can use this, as long as they have
access to the spell that does so. However, unlike higher level
demons and angels who can do this, Seiji do not do this by just
overpowering the pieces like higher level demons or angels.
Instead, their power is more about destabilizing the piece, and
destroying it once it has destabilized enough. As such, an
opponent simply needs to avoid the spells used to destabilize
the piece, which is usually put into attack spells. And usually,
this will require multiple hits with the spell during the course
of a battle before the piece shatters, as the destabilization
has to build up. And users who figure out this is happening may
even try to take precautions against it, where some may have
counter abilities to this destabilization if they have specific
abilities. However, the best way to avoid this is to just avoid
the spells that use this, since the spells have to make contact
with the piece's user in order to work at all (and have to hit a
user multiple times to finally destroy the piece).
Combat Skills:
- Combatant Physical Combat and Weapon Styles: There are many
combat styles out there that are able to be used by just about
anyone as well as some that are usable by different races.
Almost any being can learn combat styles, whether they are
physical combat styles or weapon styles. Depending on the
combatant, there are even some unique options for certain types
of beings, such as how spirit users have certain spirit based
styles they use. It is also possible that some users may even
develop their own combat style based on the abilities and
training. Because of how many styles are out there from official
styles of combat, to supernatural combat styles, and even a lot
of unique combat styles, it is hard to list each one. For the
most part, it comes down to what the user wants to learn and if
they can find someone to teach them certain combat styles (or
have the skill to make their own style). For the most part,
martial arts and/or weapon styles alone are quite numerous, and
depending on the preferred style of the user, there are plenty
of styles out there that a user can find to fit their own
fighting styles. There are also many who might learn
supernatural combat styles, in which some races have their own
specific combat styles. The most important aspect of combat
though for users though is learning to master their own combat
potential, and all their combat styles should usually be based
on this aspect whether it's physical combat or weapon based
combat. There are a number of combat styles available, so
listing them all is impossible, but a general common thing is
that the more styles one knows, the harder it is to master them
all. While having multiple styles does allow one to mix and
match aspects of styles more easily, trying to train in too many
styles can limit one's combat ability since they have to learn
many different aspects rather than focus on just one. However,
while training in only one or two styles means one can master
them better than if they focused on multiple styles, this also
means that those that specialize in specific styles usually are
limited by that style's combat (for example, a grapple based
style would be focused around grapples and most likely wouldn't
use skills non-grapple based styles use). Another thing to note
is that each style has its own strengths and weaknesses. For
example, grapple and throwing styles require close combat and
making physical contact with opponents, or styles relying on
power may be countered by speed-based styles that can dodge the
power based style. Seiji have learned other styles of combat,
and some may even have their own style depending on their
training and skill. Seiji usually have physical combat training
and weapons training, where they usually have styles based on
what they have learned over the years while in hiding from
demons and other creatures.
- Combatant Weapons Training and Weapon Counter Styles: During
their time fighting and learning combat, many combatants often
become a master of weapons, in which most have trained in a
number of weapons from swords to knives to staves, and even many
knowing how to use guns. For the most part, most have to learn
different weapons to learn different combat styles, so
combatants will often figure out how weapons work into their
styles over time and find weapons that they are comfortable
using. For example, some may not be much for using guns in
combat, but there are many combatants who have been trained in
gun style combat, where many have become expert marksmen even
though they don't like to use guns. However, the main purposes
to train with so many weapons is not just to find what the
combatant is comfortable with, but to train them in how to
combat and counter weapons. For example, training in guns shows
a combatant what to look for in those that use guns, such as
noticing when the enemy is focused on aiming, or using the
barrel of the gun as a visual reference to see where the
opponent is aiming their gun. This works for many weapon types,
where combatants learn to understand how weapons are used and
learn to recognize how their opponents will use weapons against
them. While they can get this training in specific weapon styles
(which are available as long as someone has someone to learn
from), combatants also learn how to counter supernatural
weapons, where combatants often train to combat supernaturals
and learn to fight supernatural weapons. Depending on the
combatant, many are experts in weapons from using them, to even
learning how to counter them depending on what they want to do.
As experienced warriors would say: If one wants to counter
something, they must first understand it themselves. This allows
those that train with weapons a much more knowledgeable use of
weapons, which they can take advantage of. While most do tend to
favor certain types of weapons depending on the combatants, they
can use most any weapon to some extent, with most having varying
skill with others depending on their training. And depending on
the combatants own fighting styles, learning to use some weapons
may be necessary as things like using weapons styles require
learning weapons and how to both use and fight them. Seiji have
just as much training with weapons as one would expect, having
been around for so many years.
- Combatant Supernatural Hunting Weapons Experts: Since many
combatants have to learn how to fight supernaturals, almost all
combatants have to learn to use supernatural hunter weapons in
some form, so that they have weapons to use against supernatural
threats. This could include things like silver knives, angel
knives, demon-killing weapons, or even using certain materials
like varanium and stilled silver. This usually depends on the
combatant and what they have available to use, as combatants
should prepare for whatever kinds of supernaturals they might
fight. For example, before going into a werewolf infested
forest, a combatant may grab some silver knives to use, or they
would use special holy or demon killing weapons if they were
fighting demons or other demonic type creatures. There are a
number of supernatural hunter weapons that combatants can learn
how to use (depending on their training and preference), and
most usually have to learn how to use them to survive against
supernaturals. And depending on the skills of the combatant,
there is a chance that some can even develop their own
supernatural hunting weapons depending on their knowledge and
skills. But for the most part, it is hard to quantify every
option out there, since there are so many. Depending on the user
and the situations they may face, this usually determines what
the combatant will usually carry with them. Users may also
choose weapons based on what they have available, such as some
who are a part of groups may have access to certain weapons
others don't have. This also includes certain materials that
might be available, where users can take advantage of certain
materials used to fight supernaturals. The biggest examples of
this kind of material are varanium and stilled silver, which
have become popular for fighting supernaturals due to the
effects they have on supernaturals. Some races may even have
their own methods for taking on supernaturals. For the most
part, this mostly covers weapons specifically designed for
fighting supernatural opponents, as normal weapons are usually
covered under any weapons training. And like all weapons, these
kinds of weapons all have counters depending on the weapons, and
combat styles using these weapons usually also have counters as
well by other styles. For Seiji, Seiji usually have their own
weapons they make for taking on supernaturals.
- Seiji Spirit Combat Knowledge: Because Seiji typically learn
use their ethers and their caliburn energy, Seiji usually
develop a strong knowledge of fighting spiritual opponents. This
isn't just about blasting opponents, but Seiji have combat
knowledge of how to attack spiritual opponents by using their
caliburn energies in physical combat as well as weapon combat.
While the techniques of using caliburn spiritual-type techniques
like their cethran energy to attack spirits may work well, there
are times where Seiji may want to attack spiritual opponents
using physical attacks. Seiji are extremely skilled at combating
spiritual type opponents using a manner similar to spirit users.
There are usually two aspects to this knowledge. The first is
Seiji may learn to utilize caliburn energy techniques into their
physical combat. Among more popular methods of using this are
caliburn energy amplification through spirit user-type training,
or some Seiji may learn to release blasts of of their caliburn
energies from their physical attacks. This can be used a variety
of ways, as it mostly just depends on the Seiji, the techniques
and abilities they have, and how creative they get with their
attacks. The second aspect of this style is applying caliburn
energy power to physical attacks, whether they are physical
combat or weapon combat techniques. While most Seiji do have
potential for ether-based energy combat styles, most are able to
also apply their knowledge to their physical combat in order to
not have to waste power on techniques all the time. For example,
a Seiji could apply this to a martial arts style and they could
use physical attacks on a spirit while still doing damage to the
spirit without seeming to need to use their ether energies
directly. This applies as well to weapons, where Seiji can apply
their caliburn energy combat to weapons in order to attack
spiritual enemies. This is a basic aspect of combat that many
Seiji learn, and depending on how it's used, Seiji can still be
countered like normal combat styles. Aside from the spirit
component of this aspect of combat, an opponent can still
counter, and some opponents may counter this more easily (such
as hollows and dark spirits may have their own ways to counter
this even if this is still very effective on them as well). For
the most part, Seiji don't have the ability to destroy spirits,
so they cannot use the more advanced aspects of this (with only
certain exceptions like the Torzoth family).
- Seiji Dark Spirit Combat/Corrupted Spirit Knowledge: Seiji
ethers are still similar enough to souls that many spirits like
hollows and dark spirits may still go after them for their
unique ethers that are not like normal souls (depending on the
spirit that attacks them). The biggest one is dark spirits, in
which many Seiji have fought dark spirits at some point in their
lives when dark spirits try to get a hold of their ethers.
Because of their combat with spirits, they are an expert in
almost every dark spirit that they know of, and an expert on how
to deal with other evil spirits like hollows and high level lost
souls that might escape the death wraiths and soul reapers as
many have been a problem for Seiji at some point or another in
their long history. Thanks to their caliburn spiritual power and
some who even develop skills to fight them, there aren't many
dark spirits or evil spirits that cannot be countered by Seiji's
caliburn energies and spirit plane based combat. They are
experts of almost every kind of dark spirit, aside from more
unique ones like certain combinations of dark spirit powers
(such as London Kuroshi who is a mix of multiple dark spirit
types to create his own new dark spirit type). Overall, Seiji
are knowledgeable about much of dark spirits and how they
operate, such as things like dark spirit rebirths (which many
don't fully understand), dark spirit rituals and even how to
counter dark spirits that are immune to spirit purification
(This can be hard for them though since they don't have ways to
kill dark spirits using their caliburn energy alone most of the
time). Because dark spirits are more attracted to strong
spiritual presences, Seiji have at times attracted dark spirits.
However, there are some dark spirits that Seiji don't know how
to destroy, or how to overcome, with the two major ones they
can't beat being Xeles and Phantom (Even the Seiji know to avoid
these two at all costs, and know not to deal with them). Among
others might be dark spirits like those from the Dark
Multiverse, as few people ever come from the Dark Multiverse to
the point that no one really knows much about them. For the most
part, Seiji also have no ways to destroy dark spirits and other
spirits, due to most not having any kind of spirit purification
or spirit destruction powers (with a few exceptions). This is a
danger, since Seiji mostly only focus on getting away from
spirits or spiritual opponents, not actually killing or
destroying spirits or spiritual opponents since few have ways to
do so.
- Supernatural vs Supernatural Hunter Training (Most combatants
only use one side of training): There are two variations of
supernatural combat training. There is the supernatural side of
training that lets them learn to defend themselves and fight
threats (as well as taking out supernatural hunters), and then
there is the supernatural hunter side where they wil learn to
hunt down and kill supernaturals. Typically, the training
depends on the user, and each side has its benefits and
downsides. Most users learn one side of combat training, where
they will learn what ever side they fall in. For example,
supernatural hunters fall into supernatural hunter training, and
supernaturals often fall into the supernatural training. This is
because supernatural hunters learn to fight supernaturals, while
supernaturals learn to defend themselves against supernatural
hunters (and sometimes other supernaturals). Because of this,
the training on supernaturals or hunters depend on what side the
combatant falls on. This applies to almost every kind of
combatant, as it is important to determine how one will apply
their combat training. As such, users must often learn one side
or another, though many can study how the other side fights in
order to learn how to counter them (which many often do). For
every aspect of training, there are these two types of training,
since the training is usually determined by what a combatant
will face. While some may not train in either (usually
non-supernaturals who don't want to learn combat), those that
train in combat often have to learn this due to all the possible
threats they may encounter. For example, human combatants often
learn supernatural hunter training, unless the human is a
supernatural themselves, in which case they may favor
supernatural training. Users have to usually chose one or the
other, as most don't really have much use for both combat
styles. The only real exception to this is supernaturals who
become supernatural hunters (which is a very rare case), because
they not only have to counter supernaturals, but also have to
counter supernatural hunters who may come after them if they
find out they are supernaturals. Both sides often counter each
other, so supernaturals are usually countered by supernatural
hunter training, and vice versa. However, both sides also have
training to counter the same users, such as supernaturals
learning to counter other supernaturals or hunters countering
other hunters. Seiji are no different, where they usually either
fall into supernatural categories or supernatural hunter
categories. For Seiji, they are usually in the supernatural
category, and are almost never in the supernatural hunter
category.
- Supernatural Training: Supernatural Strengths and Weaknesses
Expert: Since most supernaturals have to fight other rival
supernaturals and have to learn in order to survive their
fights, most learn everything they can about other races and
become experts in almost every kind of creature, and while they
specialize in specific types of supernaturals (Like how some
will go after only rival supernaturals like werewolves might go
after rival werewolves or vampires), most supernaturals can
learn to fight many other types of creatures as well depending
on their training. And depending on their training, most
supernaturals have to learn how to fight different types of
creatures whether they want to or not once they start training
(as many supernaturals will get hunted down by not only other
supernaturals, but by supernatural hunters for simply existing).
Depending on the supernatural, some will search libraries on all
manners of supernatural lore and creatures depending on what
they have access to, and over time they will come to know the
strengths and weaknesses of many types of races, including
spells, exorcisms and traps used against almost all manners of
supernaturals. Depending on the age and experience of the
supernatural, most learn as much about killing other
supernaturals as they can, as the more they know about fighting
supernaturals, the higher their chance of survival against a
wide variety of possible threats they may encounter. Of course,
supernaturals typically use this opportunity to learn what they
can, but most typically are only limited by the information they
can find and what information they can retain. However, the best
way to learn to fight supernaturals is through experience,
though knowledge of supernaturals is also very important. It is
important to balance knowledge and experience when fighting
supernaturals, and being sure to know the strengths and
weaknesses of most supernaturals if they want to survive, since
threats may come in all shapes and sizes. Of course, this can be
limited depending on the knowledge of a user, where some may not
know about certain creatures, such as how the The'Galin were not
in any history books before they just suddenly appeared, and
only angels and demons from before time began knew of them.
- Supernatural Training: Supernatural Hunting and
Tracking/Tracking Avoidance: For the most part, supernaturals
have to learn specifically how supernaturals are tracked, not
just so they can track their enemies, but to learn how those
like supernatural hunters might track them . Because
supernaturals are getting smarter and learning to counter
supernatural hunters, supernatural hunters have to be creative
in how they handle tracking supernaturals, which also means
supernaturals must adapt in response in a never-ending cycle.
Usually, training can involve things like being able to analyze
foot steps of creatures to find out more about where their
opponent is going, while some more skilled supernaturals can use
tracking more effectively to learn more about the supernaturals
they're tracking. For example, many supernaturals that don't
rely on supernatural senses may use foot prints to track an
opponent, but master level supernaturals can learn what kind of
creature made the prints by analyzing things like how deep the
footprint is and the size of the stride being a way to tell a
rough estimate of the weight of the make of the tracks, or even
traces of elements in the footprints could be signs of certain
supernaturals (such as demons leave behind a sulfuric trace
wherever they go and is also in their footsteps). In addition,
supernaturals are also trained to listen to the environment, in
which the environment can be a great way to track opponents. For
example, most know that when everything in a forest goes quiet,
even the bugs, it usually means there is a predator nearby, and
some supernaturals can use that to tell when they are close to a
possible target. This skill is something that not only requires
knowledge of tracking, and using the environment, but also
requires knowledge of supernaturals as well. For example, some
werecreatures actually jump through trees in the forest rather
than walk on the ground, in which supernaturals have to
understand that and use that knowledge to their advantage.
Supernaturals usually have a sense of when creatures are around
them, and most are trained specifically to track supernatural
creatures. Most have come up with many ways to track
supernaturals, as the world of supernatural hunting is rapidly
changing as supernaturals come to learn supernatural hunter
tricks for hunting. And while some may learn to use hunting and
tracking without supernatural senses, many supernaturals also
have supernatural senses that can also help them more easily
track or sense potential enemies they may encounter, or
potential enemies that might be tracking them.
- Supernatural Training: Exorcism, Weakness and Trap Knowledge:
Most supernaturals have to learn how to use exorcisms and traps
for a multitude of creatures and mythologies, due to exorcisms
and traps being something that can possibly save their lives
against certain types of enemies. Due to supernaturals having to
learn about a number of supernaturals, and having to adapt to
many situations, most have to learn extensively what
supernaturals and supernatural hunters are weak to, and how to
cast out stronger supernaturals than they can handle if they
want to survive. Supernaturals can use exorcisms and traps in
order to take advantage of other races weaknesses, and typically
use this on other creatures that are vulnerable to exorcisms and
traps as a means to overcome them more easily. However, this is
also for supernaturals to learn how to counter these when used
on them. For the most part, they also know how most
supernaturals and supernatural hunters operate, as they have to
know the differences between supernatural creatures and use
whatever weakness for the creatures they are trying to learn to
overcome, as well as they have to know how supernatural hunters
will use this against them. Most supernaturals seek as many ways
to exorcise and trap beings as possible, specifically for
finding ways to trap stronger enemies they may have to run away
from, or finding unique ways to counter some supernatural
hunters who have come up with new tricks as more and more
supernaturals are trained in supernatural hunter tactics. As
such, many supernaturals that are experienced have had the time
to build up their knowledge and even amateur supernaturals have
learned about traps and exorcisms to some degree as there are
numbers of cases where knowledge of this can help save a
supernatural's life if used properly even against some stronger
opponents, or sometimes can even save them if they know how
supernatural hunters use them so they can avoid them. Some
supernaturals have learned a lot about these not just through
books, but by watching other supernaturals and watching
supernatural hunters. Some even have unique ways to take
advantage of these based on their knowledge and creativity, as
supernaturals have an advantage where they have to learn how to
counter other supernaturals and learn how to avoid traps used by
others.
- Supernatural Training: Supernatural Hunter Extermination
Experts: Supernaturals who want to survive supernatural hunters
have to become experts in supernatural hunting techniques.
Besides just using them to fight other supernaturals,
supernaturals also have to use supernatural hunting tactics to
counter supernatural hunters that hunt them. Most supernaturals
will learn how supernatural hunters operate, whether the hunters
are human, werewolf, vampire or even demon or angel. In order to
survive, supernaturals learn everything they can about how
supernatural hunters operate, and how to avoid most supernatural
hunter traps or tracking. This is another aspect that makes some
supernaturals even more dangerous, as many supernaturals in
recent years have had to learn ways to counter supernatural
hunter traps and learn quickly the tricks supernatural hunters
used to find and combat them. Because all supernaturals do
encounter supernatural hunters from time to time that will try
to kill them (Some will hunt down supernaturals for simply
existing), they will often not only learn through books and
training, but most end up having to fight to survive against all
manners of creatures (not just humans, as there are even
supernaturals who act as supernatural hunters in some places).
Usually, hunters will hunt down almost any supernatural creature
even if some may only ever go after dangerous supernaturals, as
many hunters will see supernaturals as enemies. Because of this,
supernaturals have to learn quickly about how to avoid, counter
and kill almost any manner of supernatural hunters (many only
kill supernatural hunters when necessary, though the less moral
ones will actively hunt down and kill supernatural hunters to
protect themselves). Most supernatural hunters have to be very
creative about how they lure out spirit users like many
supernaturals, because of the fact that most learn over time how
supernatural hunters work, where supernatural hunters have to
learn new tricks and supernaturals have to again learn the new
tricks in a never-ending cycle. Of course, supernatural hunters
can learn to adapt, and usually do, so it is difficult to adapt
to every strategy since each supernatural hunter may have
different strategies for different things. Supernatural hunters
also tend to shift strategies in order to keep supernaturals off
guard, so one should keep this in mind if learning how hunters
operate and hunt down supernaturals.
- Supernatural Training: Presence Suppression/Crowd Blending:
Most supernaturals have to learn how to blend into crowds and
learn to avoid suspicion in order to avoid things like
supernatural hunters. It used to be that supernaturals had to
operate in secret in order to avoid the secrets of supernaturals
existing from getting out as was the unspoken rules before
supernaturals were revealed to the public. While that is not a
focus anymore, supernaturals still learn to blend into crowds
and learn to avoid suspicion from normal people, mostly to avoid
unnecessary attention. And because many supernaturals also live
in the open by learning to blend into crowds, this even more
important to avoid other dangerous supernaturals who might try
to take them out if they are discovered. As such, the ability to
blend into a crowd is still just as important as it was before
supernaturals were discovered. For the most part, supernaturals
often learn the best ways to avoid drawing attention to
themselves in crowds, learning methods to keep suspicion off
them. For example, some supernaturals will have ways to hide
their weapons or supernatural items when out in public, often
wearing casual clothes or clothes to fit whatever area they're
in (such as wearing clothes common to the area they're in to
avoid looking out of place) that can allow them to not show
anything they might carry with them. Because a lot of
supernaturals aren't human, many supernaturals also have the
help of supernatural abilities to help hide their presences, and
even humans can learn things like the assassin's wavelength to
help them avoid detection by supernaturals and supernatural
hunters. Crowds can be very useful, as crowds can mask someone's
scent, due to so many people often being in one area that the
scents are impossible to differentiate, and hiding in crowds can
make one hard to find if they blend in to the crowd well enough,
allowing a supernatural to be able to avoid suspicion from
supernaturals they are hunting or from supernatural hunters (as
many supernaturals are always on the lookout for hunters).
Almost any supernatural, no matter how they're trained, use this
to blend into crowds whenever they can, as they often don't want
to draw attention to themselves, which has become quite
important over the years both to hide from supernatural hunters,
but also to hide form enemy supernaturals. Seiji have had to be
really good with this, since they were hunted by demons for many
years.
- Supernatural Training: Stealth and Infiltration Expert:
Supernaturals can be very stealthy when they want to be, or when
they really need to be. This especially applies to those that
hide among humans, where they have to learn how to hide among
humans and how to not be noticed in large groups. Depending on
the supernatural, many supernaturals can be very stealthy
beings, being very skilled in avoiding encounters when they want
to, or manipulating a group to hide in so that they can avoid
certain kinds of attention depending on the supernatural. Unlike
some supernaturals who may kill everyone who is in their way so
that no one will be alive to follow them, smarter supernaturals
know how to avoid battles, usually as a way to avoid possible
encounters they may want to avoid from other supernaturals or
even humans. And while disguising as humans, and/or misdirecting
those they may encounter, most supernaturals can be very skilled
infiltrators, and even better when paired with supernaturals
that have shapeshifting abilities. This has made many
supernaturals great at hiding in plain sight, whether it's as
posing as a normal human, or some supernaturals can do things
like shapeshifting into other creatures to hide from others.
Depending on the supernatural, some are smarter about this than
others, and some supernaturals may even have specific arts for
this depending on the supernatural. However, many have had to
learn this in some aspect. The smarter supernaturals usually
know what they have to do in order to survive, and usually
avoiding fights is better to many than having to fight and
possibly attract even more attention. Most don't go around doing
things like sneaking into places and stealing things (some
might, but it is not something all supernaturals do), as their
stealth is more about blending into groups, and passing as
normal people rather than just trying to sneak around. For the
most part, older and more experienced supernaturals usually
understand the importance of hiding from others, and some more
experienced supernaturals can even hide from other
supernaturals. However, skilled enough trackers can still track
down supernaturals based on their skill level. For Seiji, they
have high skill in doing this, as they have had to hide among
humans since the early days of man.
- Murderous Intent Sense: This lets those with this sense when
an attack is coming, usually by being able to tell when someone
has the intent to kill. This is a skill most warriors get by
fighting constantly for many years, learning how to sense
someone's murderous intent usually through encountering it
first-hand enough that they start to develop a strange sense
that lets them read people and be able to tell when someone has
the intention to kill. This lets the user read their environment
as well as the people around them in order to see what attacks
might be coming their way by reading an opponent's body language
and the "sense" of people around them. This gives them a passive
sense of reading people who might try to hurt them, as they can
sense when someone is ready to attack, and most people can
usually sense when that murderous intent is aimed at them. Some
can sense this literally as an aura through things like ki
sense, but most sense it in an instinctive way once their
instincts have been developed through constant fighting and
battles. This gives the user time to predict an attack, and to
some extent, helps the person predict what opponents will do in
a fight by reading their murderous intent. For example, by
reading an opponent's body language, such as how they move or
how tense they might be, a user of this can read opponents
movements in order to predict how they will fight or attack, as
some have developed entire fighting styles predicting people
through this method, such as the Hiten Mitsurugi sword style
that uses this to predict opponents. However, this sense is not
perfect, and some opponents can't be read if they can disguise
their murderous intent or they learn skills that can trick
people with this sense. Those who have no ability to feel
emotions also don't give off this murderous intent, as those who
don't have emotions don't feel the intent to kill. This sense is
usually pretty reliable unless one can suppress their murderous
intent, and is usually instinctive among people who have seen a
lot of battle and those that have fought for their lives
multiple times. The only real way to develop this is experience,
as no amount of training can truly grasp how this sense truly
works as it is only a passive ability that one can pick up by
experiencing murderous intent firsthand from enough people that
they learn to recognize the murderous intent in the feelings
they get from people.
Passive Skills:
- Seiji Demonic Wings: Depending on the Seiji, most Seijis have
demonic wings of some type. The most common one is that Seiji
often have demonic bat-like vampire wings, which is usually
standard for most demons. However, some Seiji also have unique
vampire wings, depending on the Seiji and their abilities, such
as how some Seiji may have wings made of energy or elementals
depending on the Seiji. If the Seiji has normal bat-like wings,
then they will often appear pure black (though sometimes might
also be partly red or another color depending on the Seiji) and
are demonic in nature. All Seiji can use their vampire wings to
fly, where they are able to also utilize their abilities to
usually allow them easier flight (such as using hellfire to
generate lift using heat). Depending on the Seiji, their wings
may also be strong enough to help defend them, as some Seiji
have wings strong enough to block physical or projectile
attacks. Some Seiji may even gain unique abilities with their
wings, depending on the Seiji, such as some can do things like
firing magic projectiles at enemies, or some energy type wings
may have special abilities. Typically, this can be different
depending on the Seiji, and depending on the Seiji, wings can be
at varying levels of strength and durability (Some may have
weaker wings, and some may have stronger wings). Seiji can even
use their demonic shapeshifting to keep their wings suppressed
when in normal form, and can keep their wings suppressed as long
as they need to, only calling on their wings when needed. Of
course, as one might imagine, if these wings are damaged, they
cannot be used to fly, and even wings with strong defense
abilities can be overcome with strong enough attacks if the
combatant tries to use them for defense. Also, any abilities the
wings might have will also come with their own weaknesses, with
unique wings often having unique weaknesses (such as hellfire
wings might be vulnerable to ice, or lightning wings being
vulnerable to water). Also, since Seiji don't have supernatural
regenerate (for the most part), their wings can take some time
to heal, in which healing may take some time depending on the
damage (though Seiji wings do heal naturally, but the process
can be sped up with demonic corruption healing).
- Seiji Demonic Hardskin: Like demons, Seiji also have developed
a type of defense using their unholy auras, in which Seiji have
developed a harder skin using their demonic auras, and have made
their skin much harder to pierce in combat in response to
demonic and angelic hardskin defense. Since Seiji don't have
supernatural regeneration like most beings (at least not in the
traditional sense), Seiji focus all of their power into this
hardskin skill, where their constrain their demonic energy into
their skin to strengthen it. Unlike demons and angels who have a
choice between better defense and regeneration, Seiji do not
have that choice, and they all end up with this (with certain
exceptions due to some having supernatural regeneration if they
have other race abilities). Typically, this defense, at its
fullest, can defend against normal bullets, and some higher
level bullets, with some showing that toughening the body can be
just as useful in a fight as regenerating injuries. And
depending on the Seiji, some have other defensive arts that can
be used as well, where some Seiji have spells that can enhance
their durability and grant them hardskin defense. There are even
some Seiji arts where they can tailor their hardskin defense to
certain creatures at specific times, as a means to specialize
and combat different creatures. At full strength, some Seiji
have often been seen as nearly indestructible by weaker
opponents (they are just harder to damage, they are not actually
indestructible). Typically, Seiji all put their power into this,
and gain this in some form. However, Seiji are more vulnerable
to holy power, and holy energy or weapons can more easily pierce
a Seiji's skin due to their hardskin being the result of demonic
power (meaning all one needs to pierce a Seiji's skin is a holy
weapon regardless of the opponent's level of skill). Seiji
hardskin is much like demonic hardskin, except that Seiji don't
balance it with regeneration since most don't have regeneration.
Seiji are strong and hard to damage, but stronger attacks can
still damage them, even if they take reduced damage. Stronger
opponents that can overpower this can still do damage to them
regardless of their level of skill with this. And if a Seiji
tailors this to other beings, then they gain a weakness to other
beings, such as if they tailor it to defend against vampires,
any other creature that isn't a type of vampire will do extra
damage to them. Typically, Seiji usually leave this at a basic
level, where it is just not tailored to one specific race.
- Seiji Natural Healing and Recovery: As one might imagine,
Seiji are able to recover over time, in which their healing
works much like humans. Seiji have similar body structures to
humans with exception to the Seiji's energies, some differences
like how Seiji regenerate their eyes and how different their
mind is. A Seiji has similar recovery abilities to humans,
except that Seiji have stronger recovery than humans. This is a
natural healing where Seiji bodies are able to recover from
injuries. Seiji recover from injuries must faster than humans
do, due to their stronger recovery. Small cuts could heal within
minutes, with stronger wounds healing in mere hours. However,
unlike humans, Seiji can actually recover from injuries that
would be fatal to humans. Seiji organs are made to be able to
heal just like the rest of their bodies, and Seiji organs are
designed to fix themselves when needed thanks to the Seiji's
unique genetics that tell their organ's cells how to repair
themselves when damaged. While Seiji can still be killed
depending on the damage done, it takes far more to kill them
than it does other beings. With a Seiji's recovery, some have
even been known to recover from their hearts or brains being
stabbed if the damage is not too much for them to handle. While
Seiji aren't immortal, Seiji recover far more easily than
humans, and have the capacity to recover from things that would
kill normal humans. However, there is another advantage Seiji
have when it comes to healing, and that is their immunity to
regeneration negation skills, weapons and items. Seiji healing
may seem like supernatural regeneration, but it is a natural
healing that is essentially an enhanced genetic trait that they
were given that was meant to make them better than humans when
it came to recovery. This allows Seiji to recover from a lot
more injuries than most think, and sometimes even the Seiji get
surprised at some things they can survive. However, while they
may seem impossible to kill, Seiji can actually be killed easily
by just cutting off their heads. If a Seiji loses their head,
they die as easily as many other races, and their regeneration
cannot save them from this. Usually, doing enough damage in a
short time to the Seiji's organs can overwhelm the body, and
destroying enough of the Seiji's body can kill them (though it's
more difficult that way since their organs and tissue have
special ability to recover).
- Combat Affinity: Natural Combat Talents: Many combatants are
born with unique combat talents. Depending on the combatant,
many can have some form of natural combat talent (usually
depending on what they are and what skills they are born with).
This combat talent comes in a variety of forms depending on the
combatant and what natural talents they are born with. For
example, there are some who are born with supernatural combat
adaption where they develop a natural talent for subconsciously
adapting to supernatural combat. Some users could develop
natural talent for other things though, such as some who have an
instinctual combat sense that lets them instinctively recognize
threats and avoid danger (with such users usually having some
instinctual dodging ability). Among other natural talents
include users who may have natural talents for certain weapon
styles or skillsets. As mentioned, this combat talent is
different for each combatant, and some may even have multiple
natural talents (though having more talents may result in less
of each talent). This isn't just limited to how to fight though,
as some even gain specific intelligence or reflex based talents
that might not always apply to combat. Depending on the
combatant and their talents, this comes in all shapes and sizes,
making it hard to list each case of this, but the results
usually blend together and most end up in the same result: Many
can be naturally talented in combat, and are not to be
underestimated. While no one is skilled enough to take out every
single threat out there, many with natural combat talent are
very skilled warriors one they figure out what their natural
talent is. Of course, natural talent can only go so far, so it
is important to note that the users should also train their
talents and don't just rely on the natural talent. This talent
can be overcome by some opponents, especially among those that
have natural talents of their own, or some that have no talent
can overcome a user's talents if they are skilled enough through
training or experience. Also, it is possible that some might be
born without natural talents and can only get stronger through
intense training to push beyond not having natural talent.
Typically, this type of combat talent grows stronger more
quickly when the user is younger, but levels out when the user
reaches older ages. This means that users usually have more
growth when they're younger when they're still learning, but
their growth slows down when they get older and their talent
comes more from experience at that point. The Seiji all have
natural talents that they are designed with, from combat
adaption to combat intuition, to even some having special
enhanced combat abilities depending on what abilities the Seiji
was created with.
- Combat Affinity: Trained Combat Talents: Many combatants are
not just naturally talented, as mentioned before, as magic users
can also train their talents. Whether a user has natural talent
or not, it is usually important for any combatant to build up
their trained talent as well. There is something to be said for
experience in combat helping a warrior grow, and there is almost
no case where this is any different. Through training and
experience, combatants can build up their combat from the ground
up, to the point that many users will train for years to build
up their combat skills. Just like the natural combat talents,
this talent comes in a variety of forms, but the result is the
same: It is important for a combatant to train their combat to
the best of their ability, and train to gain the most of their
combat. Through training and experience, combatants can learn
different things about combat. Among some of the more common
trained combat talents are those that learn to adapt to
opponents through experience, such as those that were
experienced with fighting specific threats may tailor their
combat to fight those threats. And some combatants may even
learn to counter other opponents abilities through things like
strategic thinking or by utilizing certain combat abilities in
response to certain abilities in order to counter them. As time
goes on, combatants train themselves to use this more and more
easily, where they may even use this combat talent without
thinking. The more experience one gets, the better the talent
will become, no matter what trained combat talent the combatant
develops over the years and no matter how much or how little
natural talent the combatant has. Usually, the most common one
is learning to adapt to combat styles as a combatant learns
about more combat styles, or learning to adapt to certain combat
styles by studying how others fight. As one might imagine
though, this is something that also only goes so far depending
on user and their dedication to training. This kind of combat
talent starts out slow, but as the user trains, they gain more
ability to learn as time goes on. Of course, all combat talents
can be countered by stronger combat talents, or by opponents
that might have special training to counter combat talents
(usually through combat talents of their own). Typically, this
is a combat talent that starts out small, but grows over time,
in which this talent usually becomes stronger as a combatant
gets older and more experienced. This typically gets stronger as
the ability to adapt lessens as a combatant gets older, meaning
that older combatants rely more on experience and this trained
talent than on natural talent. The Seiji have honed their
abilities over the years, and have gained strong trained combat
talent that they can use in combat. Because of this, the Seiji
are very dangerous warriors, who have both natural and trained
combat talent. Despite not fighting humans for control of the
world like they were supposed to, they still train and hone
their skills as Seiji, and are known for being extremely
dangerous warriors.
- Affinity for Spiritual/Ether Power: Since Seiji focus a lot
of their energy's power through their spirits/ethers, they have
enhanced affinities for this power as it's how they were
designed. Similar to how humans have pure spirit energy power,
Seiji have their own natural affinity for manipulating their
ether's energies. Most Seiji have the ability to utilize their
ether's energy, in which almost all can utilize their ether's
energies in some form, usually in the form of their caliburn
energy and the other energies that utilize it (like their
cethran and sequrian energy). Seiji are able to draw out their
spiritual power far more easily than many other races, where
they have stronger ether ability. In addition, this also means
that Seiji can also attack more easily on the spiritual level,
where their spiritual energies can attack spirits (Though
destroying spirits is difficult without certain abilities only
certain Seiji have). This is one of the main things trained by
the Seiji, where they actually train their ethers energies and
build their demonic spirit power through their ethers. In
addition, their life drain is also incredibly helpful in growing
their ethers and their spiritual affinities. There are even
those like the Torzoth family who have built their ethers up
using spirit user type training to gain similar levels of
spiritual power to what spirit users gain. Seiji also are able
more easily balance their ether's flow of energy and regulate
it, in which they are more skilled and honed than humans when it
comes to the abilities of spiritual power. And depending on the
Seiji, there are some that utilize this in different ways with
specific arts, where some may utilize caliburn energy, or some
may gain spiritual type powers, such as the Entei family
specializing in demonic hollow abilities that enhance their
spiritual nature even further. This usually depends on the
Seiji, but even the least talented Seiji (when it comes to
ether) still has a great affinity for using their ether's power.
However, while their energy is powerful and they do have
affinities, their spiritual power still has the same drawbacks,
such as using their spirit power and opening themselves to the
spirit plane could result in them being noticed by spirits, and
their ether's energies can still usually be countered depending
on the ether powers used (most of which can be countered by
other energies, but some may have unique weaknesses depending on
the Seiji).
- Near Immunity to Demonic/Dark Powers: Since the Seiji were
created in hell and designed with dark and demonic
powers/natures, the Seiji are almost completely immune to dark
and demonic abilities. In addition to their natures, they were
also tortured and trained in hell using demonic and dark
abilities, to which they had to adapt and eventually gain a near
immunity in order to survive a lot of their training. Most
demonic or dark powers barely do any damage to Seiji at all,
aside from possible concussive damage. Seiji are nearly immune
to demonic and darkness type effects, such as demonic energy
corruption (which actually helps empower them) and acidic
darkness. Depending on the demonic power or the darkness type
power, Seiji have very high resistances to almost any power used
by demons or darkness users, with a few exceptions. Seiji have
very high tolerances to demonic or darkness powers, and even
those that put immense gravitational pressure on them actually
don't stop them as much as it would most other beings. And when
it comes to things like darkness presence and demonic presence,
the Seiji are also nearly immune to demonic presence and
darkness presence effects, due to them having suffered a lot of
those types of presences in their training in hell. The Seiji
even have suffered intense gravity training using advanced
darkness gravity manipulation, where Seiji have adapted to
conditions that would floor most people. And due to their own
demonic presence they give off, their presence usually is able
to counter the presence of the demon or darkness user that they
encounter. However, it should be noted that demonic and darkness
type powers aren't full immunities like some think, and some
dark or demonic powers may still do damage. For example, demonic
ice can still hurt a Seiji, but the demonic element of the ice
won't do extra damage compared to normal ice. And they can still
take damage from demonic or dark attacks, in which the
concussive force of the damage could still hurt them, such as a
hellfire explosion could still knock them back with the force of
the explosion. Also, due to their demonic nature, one can
usually guess that they are much more vulnerable to holy
powers/weapons, and their demonic power also makes them somewhat
vulnerable to demonic weaknesses like holy water.
- Resistance to Magic/Immunity to Dark/Demonic Magic: Almost all
Seiji users have magic in some form, where they are able to
utilize their Seiji magic to some degree. Unlike humans who only
some learn magic, all Seiji have their ability to use magic to
varying degrees. Most magic does little damage to them, and most
have specific magic spells for dispelling magic attacks used
against them. Seiji are nearly immune to most magics, aside from
a few like holy magic. As one might guess, this resistance works
on most normal forms of magic, with Seiji having the most
resistances to demonic and dark magics to the point where Seiji
take almost no damage from demonic or dark magics. Since the
Seiji have adapted to dark and demonic magic over the years in
hell and through training their own Seiji magic abilities, Seiji
have become nearly immune to dark and demonic magics. When it
comes to demonic magic, Seiji are pretty much immune to anything
in demon magic except for the physical force of attacks. When it
comes to dark magic, this is a little harder to quantify since
there's a few different types. Seiji have high resistance to
dark arts that use darkness as their power, and Seiji have near
immunity to dark magic that uses dark mana or darkness energy
(depending on the dark magic that is used). Their resistance
does depend partially on the magic, but even those that hurt
them like holy magic still do reduced damage to them (holy magic
does a little more damage than normal magic). However, it should
be noted that certain things they don't have resistances to,
such as dark spirit dark arts are not among their near
immunities (dark spirit dark arts can still damage them). And
when it comes to resistances, certain magics that are lesser
known may be able to damage Seiji, though most Seiji have
resistances to many of the magics known, even many of the lesser
known ones such as chaos magic. However, some holy magics do
still do a little more damage than normal magic, even if the
Seiji have resistance to holy magics (but only a slight
resistance). If one wants to use holy power on a Seiji, the best
way is to use normal holy energy on them.
- Immunity to Fire/Resistance to Variation Flames: Because they
were created in hell and were tortured with hellfire, Seiji
developed an immunity to flames during their creation and
adaption to hellfire. Being tortured with hellfire, which was
much stronger and hotter than normal flames, the Seiji are
completely immune to hellfire and other hotter flames, partially
thanks to their demonic natures and their training in hell
during their creation. This means that most Seiji take very
little to no damage from most fire types including dark flames,
dragon flames, or other extremely hot flames that burn much
hotter than normal flames in battles. This even applies to Seiji
having high resistance to even cold flames like ice flames, as
well as them having resistances to other flame variations like
lightning flames. Almost any flame used against them does little
damage, usually depending on the fire type. Typically, this
applies to most flame types for almost any Seiji, even those
that may not be as strong of fire users. This is especially
strong among those like the Kazara family, who use dragon power
(usually using some form of fire dragon power that allows them
to not only be immune to flames, but allows them to inhale
flames). Seiji often find most fire mildly irritating to their
skin if they react at all. The only real damage that can be done
to them using fire is by using things like the concussive force
of attacks, such as using an explosion to knock a Seiji back
(using the concussive force generated by the explosion) or using
flame slashes to create slashing waves. In terms of burning
damage, it is very hard to burn a Seiji, even with some stronger
options like corrupted flames (which also do highly reduced
damage to Seiji). This even applies to holy flames, where Seiji
only take damage from the holy element of the flames, and don't
take extra damage from the actual flames themselves. However,
while fire isn't very useful against them, other elementals can
usually be effective depending on how they're used, and some
energies that take a flame-like state can also be used to hurt
Seiji, though they do also do reduced damage since Seiji are
highly resistant to burning. The only real way to damage a Seiji
with fire is to completely bypass their immunity using another
power altogether.
- Seiji Passive Skill: Seiji Ethereal Attunement: This is a
unique skill that Seiji develop. Through their training, they
are able to tune to their ethers and their bodies, and this
grants them a unique sense of themselves. The first major aspect
of this is that a Seiji tunes to their ether and their body's
energies, and are able to get a sense of what they need to do to
help train themselves to get stronger. For example, the Torzoth
family trained in spirit user training and developed their own
version of spirit user abilities by tuning into their ethers and
bringing out the full power of their caliburn energies. This
isn't just about combat or training, but allows a Seiji to truly
understand their ether, body and power, and how it works. This
allows a user to gain a knowledge of themselves that can help
them in many aspects, and also allows them to better utilize
their natural skills. By tuning into themselves, Seiji can also
gain a stronger connection to the spiritual plane through their
ethers, which is the next aspect of this power. By tuning to the
spiritual plane, a Seiji is able to utilize this connection to
sense the spiritual, such as sensing spirits around them. When
using this attunement, Seiji can more easily sense what's around
them with their senses, as this strengthens their ability to
sense the presence of others. When combining these two aspects,
Seiji typically are able to grow in ability with their energies
much more effectively, and can more easily tap into the
potential that may be hidden in their being. Of course, this
doesn't have too much bearing on battles, as this is more about
training, attuning to the spiritual plane, and allowing a Seiji
to more effectively learn to use their ether and energy
abilities. But it is worth noting that Seiji cannot rush their
growth, as they can over-stress their ethers or their body if
they try to tap too deep into their themselves and pull out
their abilities too intensely. This can cause damage to their
ethers and body, and in extreme cases even cause the Seiji to
stop being able to use their energy either temporarily or
permanently depending on the extremity of what they're doing.
- Seiji Sin/Negative Emotion Empowerment: Almost all Seiji are
able to gain empowerment off of at least one type of sin or
negative emotion thanks to their demonic power that grants them
the ability to utilize negative emotions as their base state.
Seiji have a base in negative emotions, where they rely on them
just as humans rely on positive emotions. The general negative
emotions for most is usually anger or hatred, where Seiji learn
to focus these two emotions first. Depending on the Seiji, some
may have unique sin empowerments, which usually is part of their
specific abilities. For example, there is a family of Seiji that
use yellow lantern powers, which utilize fear as their basic
power source. There is also a family of female Seiji who have
succubi abilities, where they feed on lust energy as their
negative emotional empowerment. Those that use this are able to
gain empowerment through sin or negative emotion depending on
what their affinities for, with most Seiji also having a base
affinity for anger and hatred as their base emotional states.
Once a Seiji reaches a high enough level, they are even able to
influence this emotion in others, where some can actually affect
others with their own negative emotions by projecting their
negative emotions on others (such as a Seiji could learn anger
manipulation to induce anger in others). This ability may also
come with other benefits, as some special abilities can be used
in combination with this, where some have specific unique
abilities that use this uniquely from even other Seiji (like the
Seiji family that uses yellow lantern power use fear
specifically and have unique yellow lantern abilities most other
Seiji don't). Some may even gain unique abilities with strong
enough emotions, like how Belphegor's sloth absorption allowed
him to enhance his mind as he sleeps (a unique ability related
to his sin empowerment of sloth). This depends mostly on the
Seiji and their abilities, as each Seiji is different, and
depending on the Seiji, some have very different uses for this.
This is usually a passive skill, with exception to any
supernatural abilities focused around manipulation of sin and
negative emotions. And this is still countered by positive
emotional counterpart manipulations, such as fear would be
countered by peace, or anger would be countered by hopeful
emotions.
- Seiji Training Skill: Hateful Focus Dark Meditation: When
talking about Seiji training themselves, the Seiji have a
special method of focus and meditation that they use. This
method of Seiji meditation utilizes negative emotions to
strengthen their mind and body, and focus their demonic side
through focusing their negative emotions. When using this, this
method of training uses Seiji's negative emotions, and uses them
like a lens to focus their energies. Comparing Seiji, a Seiji
who doesn't use this may use their power effectively, but will
just release it in a large wave of raw power, whereas Seiji who
use this focus their power like a laser to make it more
effective. Because many powers to the Seiji tend to respond to
emotions, anger and hatred are used to amplify these powers and
amplify the Seiji's natures to utilize negative emotions
naturally. This is also to focus a Seiji's mind so that they can
better focus their energy, where they use their hatred and anger
to focus their thoughts (where humans would normally not be able
to focus using anger since anger's nature is usually hindering
focus). This is the Seiji's main method of meditation and focus,
where they use this to hone and focus their power. Unlike those
mortals who use this kind of training to levels that cause them
to damage themselves in exchange for power, the Seiji don't
actually suffer any effects that hurt them when using this
training, as this training is much more natural for them than
other beings. And when used effectively, this can open up the
flow of energy in the body, allowing Seiji to generate more
energy as a result by continuing to train and use this
meditation. The Seiji will use this to help focus their power,
and using this helps them to better utilize all of their
abilities. This doesn't just apply to their ether abilities, but
also their other energies that require focus and training to
learn. However, while this is a very useful skill that Seiji
have, they can only grow so much through meditation, and they
cannot just keep growing in power as there is a limit to how
strong Seiji can get through this method. At some point, Seiji
have to also grow stronger through training and actual combat.
And as one might imagine, this meditation only works through
negative emotions, usually being used through anger and hatred.
- Seiji Demonic Blood Empowerment: It is worth noting that demon
blood is demonically charged, in which demons have extremely
strong blood, which also applies to the Seiji given the Seiji
have demonic written into their very nature. And like demons,
Seiji are able to strengthen their demonic blood (which is
already pretty strong with demonic power given all the demonic
energy their body is made to generate) through drinking the
blood of demons. By drinking the blood of demons, Seiji are able
to strengthen their demonic abilities, in which they use the
demonic method of drinking demon blood to strengthen demon
blood. This is a great amplifier of a Seiji's power, and can
grant them temporary or permanent boosts depending on the Seiji,
how much demon blood they drink, and the potency of the demon
blood. Depending on the demon blood, Seiji gain power anytime
they drink demon blood, and depending on the demon, Seiji have
even been able to be known to gain advanced demonic energies
this way (usually temporarily) from higher level demons that use
this. And unlike demons who become addicted to demon blood,
Seiji actually don't become addicted to demon blood. Some Seiji
can even gain new demonic abilities through drinking enough of a
demon's blood, such as a Seiji might gain a darkness demon's
abilities if they drink enough demon blood from darkness demons.
Seiji can even drink each other's blood if they desire, since
their blood is so much more demonically charged (though this is
a major taboo among Seiji and many Seiji will disown Seiji who
do this to other Seiji). For the most part, this is a skill that
mostly just acts as an amplifier of the Seiji's demonic nature
and power, and rarely ever grants new abilities. However, while
this is very useful, this only works with demon blood, and
doesn't work great with things like demonic hybrids who don't
have full demon blood. As such, Seiji can only use this
(usually) on full demons, and many don't like to rely on it
because they don't like having to rely on demons to grow
stronger (since they want to get stronger in their own way
rather than relying on hell to make them stronger).
- Seiji Supernatural Essence Absorption Power Gain: Through
their life drain, Seiji have the ability to gain supernatural
essence that can grant them new abilities. This is something
where Seiji are able to gain new abilities depending on the
supernatural essence they absorb. This allows a Seiji to gain
the abilities of supernaturals, where they simply need to use
their life drain to drain enough of a supernatural's essence to
gain their abilities. Typically, this could be just gaining one
or two abilities, or if enough essence is taken, then a Seiji
can gain all of the abilities of the supernatural they take the
essence of. This can also be permanent or temporary depending on
how much essence is taken, where taking more essence usually
results in more permanent powers gained. Some Seiji may even go
as far as to take souls in order to build this power through
souls (which is usually more powerful, but not something too
many Seiji do aside from a few families who use souls). This can
be different depending the Seiji, where Seiji can gain specific
abilities from essence depending on the Seiji (and may not
always result in the same powers gained from Seiji to Seiji).
For some, they may gain a demonic equivalent of a power, or some
may have physiology changes to adapt to the power they take
depending on how their body adapts. This depends mostly on the
Seiji, as the Seiji's adaptability will usually adapt to the
powers in some form. Some powers will require physiological
changes to the body to use, while some may not. Typically, the
big thing to note is that not enough essence being taken usually
makes this a temporary power gain, while taking more life
essence means a Seiji could gain the power permanently. However,
with any power, absorbing new abilities is a bit of a dangerous
gamble, as Seiji will also gain the weaknesses of the power they
gain (Such as absorbing dragon essence to gain dragon power will
make them weak to dragon hunter powers/weapons). Most Seiji
don't bother with this, and only use their life drain to drain
the energies of others just to power their ethers more than to
gain new abilities (though any Seiji can make use of this if
they truly desire to).
- Seiji Demonic Blood Telepathy Spell/Seiji Blood Network:
Similar to angel and fallen angel radio, the Seiji have their
own demonic blood spell network they use to communicate with
each other. Unlike many supernaturals, Seiji don't usually come
with supernatural telepathy unless it is part of supernatural
specialty abilities they may have (such as one Seiji family with
vampire abilities utilize vampire telepathy). Seiji use a
special blood spell to communicate, which normally would connect
them to demons who use the same network using demon blood.
However, much like the fallen angels modified their angel radio
skill to not focus normal angels, Seiji also focused so that
they would only reach other, and not reach the demon
communication using blood spells. When using this, the Seiji
establish communications through a special blood spell, where
they use their blood to connect to the Seiji demonic power in a
manner similar to telepathy. Once the Seiji connects to their
demonic blood network, they communicate on a private network
that works similar to telepathy, where they send their thoughts
through blood to those that they want to connect with. Once
connected, the other Seiji can also respond on this network, and
the Seiji will often use this to trade information with each
other, as well as have times where they plan as a group what to
do in certain situations. The Seiji even set up emergency calls
if they are in trouble, where they can use their blood in
dangerous situations to put out a call for help to other Seiji
if they need to. This is their main method of communication with
each other, aside from some of them now having phones which they
also use to talk to each other when they need to. Since many
don't have telepathy, this is how they commune with each other,
and allows Seiji a way to communicate with each other no matter
where they are. However, this only works on Seiji and those with
Seiji blood in them (like the rare Seiji hybrid), and doesn't
work with other races. Since the Seiji don't like involving
themselves with other races, they usually don't care about
talking to other races. And while this does use demonic blood
similar to demons, the Seiji have their own network of demonic
blood they use, so that demons cannot use their network. As
such, Seiji also cannot use their network to hack the demon
blood communication used by demons.
- Seiji Demon Cosmic Awareness: Seiji, thanks to their
information gathering skills and their demonic abilities, are
aware of most things going on in the known universe, as long as
it's something the Seiji have knowledge of through either
learning it on Earth or from their training in hell. Seiji
typically have a pretty good understanding of much of the forces
of the universe, including those many people wouldn't think
would be important, where the Seiji communicate and keep up on
important events that happen in the universe. On top of that,
many higher level Seiji have such an awareness of the universe
that they can detect changes in space and time, in which some
Seiji can tell when someone is time traveling and changing time
if they are disconnected from the timeline, or tell when someone
is teleporting if they can track the teleportation (though this
is something not all Seiji can do). For the most part, the Seiji
are always keeping an eye on anything that could be a threat to
them, and aside from things like primordial beings, they
typically have knowledge of most things going on, including some
knowing things like when portals to alternate dimensions have
been created as well. However, there is a limit to this, as
certain types of creatures are not always known or Seiji might
not have awareness of the entire universe. One such example is
that Seiji typically don't have as much cosmic knowledge of
primordial beings, with one example being the The'Galin (though
the Seiji do now know about them due to the war being fought
against them). However, it should be noted that the Seiji do
have information on those like Xeles, Phantom and Malice, and
know that they need to avoid them, as the Seiji don't like them
anymore than humans do. However, it is worth noting that their
knowledge only goes so far. Usually, most Seiji have a vague
awareness of most of the major events in their given world, but
usually only higher level Seiji or those with special related
abilities have the ability to see certain things, like time
traveling or sensing alternate dimension portals, though this
doesn't mean other Seiji aren't able to sense dangerous threats
as they appear. For the most part, the reason Seiji keep track
so well, is that they share information with each other and
those with stronger knowledge gathering give that knowledge to
the other Seiji.
- Seiji Indefinite Supernatural Life Span: Seiji are designed to
live a very long time, and they have extended this life through
training and their own magic spells and recovery. Using magic,
Seiji have stopped their aging at a certain point, where they
use their Seiji magic to keep themselves at the point they want
to stay. They weren't originally designed with the same
indefinite life span as demons, but Seiji actually used their
Seiji magic to artificially create the same state. As such,
Seiji are able to stop their aging at any point they desire, and
can continue it if they desire. Because of this, Seiji can live
for an indefinite amount of time, where Seiji usually live by
aging to a certain point, and then they stop their aging using
Seiji magic. Once stopped, Seiji are able to live indefinite
life spans, as it is not yet known if their magic spells they
use to stop their aging will ever naturally wear off or stop
working (though it is suspected that it may eventually happen if
the Seiji's powers break down at a certain point in the future
like many regeneration powers tend to). And even without their
magic, Seiji would live much longer than humans, thanks to their
enhanced recovery and ability to heal organs and tissue that
humans don't have. In this regard, Seiji would have lived much
longer than humans anyway, with some being theorized to be able
to live for over a thousand years with their recovery alone.
Most Seiji are old enough that they lived the Heaven/Hell wars
(though they were in hell being trained, they still lived during
that time), so many will often know that almost all the Seiji
(aside from any that might have been born after the Seiji
started living on earth) are much older than they look, despite
them usually appearing in their prime. And because of the
Seiji's recovery and strong immune responses, it is rare for a
Seiji to get sick, which means that it is very rare to see a
Seiji die of sickness, unless it is something like an autoimmune
disease (which are the usually only natural ways Seiji die from
sickness). However, a Seiji cannot age backwards, and once they
chose to age, they cannot reverse their aging. And if a Seiji
stops their aging, then they have to live out their natural life
span, which while long, is not indefinite like the Seiji that
use magic to stop their aging.
- Supernatural/Long Life Ability: Multi-Linguists/Language
Learning: Most supernaturals who have been around for a long
time, for one reason or another, have had to learn multiple
languages. There are a variety of reasons for this, such as
languages changing over time, or some may need to move to other
areas and learn new languages, or some may just travel and need
to learn languages to communicate. Some also may use written
languages for other things, such as some supernaturals may code
notes and things in other languages to confuse potential
enemies, or some may write in languages to communicate to each
other and make it harder for people to intercept. No matter the
reason, most supernaturals and even humans who live a long time
will learn multiple languages. There are a few ways to learn
languages, depending on the individual. The first is that one
can learn a language tree, where some language trees correspond
more easily to each other (for example, Spanish and Portuguese
are in the same language tree, and have a very similar
language). This can be easier to some since it is easier to
learn a language, but some find it difficult when so many parts
of the language are too similar. Another method is used among
those that have learned multiple languages, where they will pick
up languages by listening to others speaking it, such as one may
listen to a language and learn what the words mean as a means to
understand the language. Of course, the third is perhaps the
more obvious one where one can read and study to learn a
language just like other people do (which can come more easily
to supernaturals that have enhanced intelligence). This can be
used to learn a number of languages, and most supernaturals have
to learn multiple languages as a means to communicate with
others as their lives go on. There are plenty of languages out
there, with the main ones used in the world often being well
known languages like English, French, Spanish, and some other
languages like Chinese, Japanese, Russian and Portuguese. This
mostly depends on the supernatural and where they live, and
where they go in their lives. However, most supernaturals and
even humans, who live long enough do learn multiple languages,
and some older ones may even know ancient languages. Seiji have
been around since the early days of man, and they know many of
the languages of the earth. Most know most of the known
languages, and even know lesser known languages like Latin,
Biblical Hebrew, Enochian and even older languages like
Sanskrit.
- Seiji Supernatural Enhanced Mind: Enhanced IQ, Reflexes and/or
Memory: Depending on the supernatural, most supernaturals have
enhanced minds thanks to their supernatural power. The first
thing that is enhanced is their intelligence, in which some
supernaturals gain certain intelligence boosts depending on what
kind of creature they are and what supernatural power they
possess. This has a few uses, such as allowing a supernatural to
more easily learn information, or might help supernaturals
develop strategies for certain situations. Depending on the
supernatural, some might gain stronger intelligence than others,
and depending on the race, they may have ways to utilize this.
The second enhancement is to the supernatural's memory, where
supernaturals can have very good memory thanks to their
supernatural enhancement of the mind, especially if they do
things like focus through meditation. Those with this will often
have a hard time forgetting things, and some smarter
supernaturals may even have a photographic memory or eidetic
memory. The last enhancement that supernaturals may gain is the
enhancement of their reflexes, which allows them to react much
faster than most creatures can, especially if they are trained
in combat. Depending on the supernatural and the training some
are able to utilize these traits depending on the supernatural.
Each supernatural usually has a different combination of these,
where they will have different levels of enhanced mind.
Typically, all of these enhancements work in unison, and
depending on the supernatural, the balance of enhancements may
be different depending on the specific supernatural, and their
natural abilities (such as smarter supernaturals might gain
better intelligence, but more combat-based supernaturals could
gain stronger reflexes). Typically, most supernaturals are
either balanced with a slight increase to all their enhanced
mind stats, or they can specialize in specific stats for higher
stats, but this usually means lesser stats in certain other
aspects as a result (Like an enhanced intelligence and reflexes
might have poor memory). This depends on the supernatural and
the enhancements, and certain things like physical training or
mental training may also enhance certain other traits as well.
For the Seiji, they are usually heavily trained in combat, so
they usually have very strong abilities when it comes to
reflexes. This depends on the Seiji, as each one is set up
differently, but most still follow similar rules to humans when
it comes to their balance of reflexes, memory, emotional
capacity and intelligence balancing out.
- Seiji Enhanced Normal Senses: Supernaturals in general have
highly enhanced senses. Depending on the supernatural, some
senses may be enhanced more than others, with even the same
types of supernaturals may have different combinations of
enhanced senses. This is often unique to each supernatural,
where their senses enhance to match what they do (IE a werewolf
relies a lot on smell, so most of them have enhanced senses of
smell). Some may have more enhanced senses than others, in which
there are positives and negatives to having either stronger or
weaker enhanced senses. Among some examples include an enhanced
sense of touch that allows one to sense more through touch than
other beings, an enhanced sense of smell that some beings use to
be able to smell far more than most beings, enhanced sight that
may be able to process seen things faster or may be able to see
farther than other beings, and even an enhanced sense of taste
where a supernatural can taste things that most other beings
wouldn't. This depends on the creature, but there is usually two
methods of this. There are highly enhanced senses, where users
have high levels of senses whether it is one sense or multiple
senses that are enhanced. Those with this kind of sense are far
more sensitive to the environment around them, and are much
harder to sneak up on. However, those with stronger senses are
more vulnerable to having their senses overwhelmed, where
stronger enhanced senses can be used against the supernatural
(IE a werewolf's highly enhanced smell can be overwhelmed by
strong enough smells). Meanwhile, those with weaker enhanced
senses don't have nearly as high senses as higher levels, and
don't have quite as high of an ability to sense the environment
around them. However, lesser enhanced supernaturals do have an
advantage in that their enhanced senses aren't as sensitive and
cannot be overwhelmed nearly as easy as those with higher level
(even if it costs them not being as able to interact with the
environment). This is different for each supernatural, and both
higher and weaker enhanced senses have positives and negatives.
This doesn't include certain other senses, such as supernatural
senses, though, and those are usually listed separately. Seiji
have enhanced normal senses as well, and depending on the skills
they have, some may have further enhanced senses.
- Seiji Supernatural Presence Sense: Many supernaturals have a
sixth sense, which lets them sense others using this sense, as
well as sensing their presences. This is a passive skill that
many supernaturals possess, where they use it to sense the world
around them. Typically, this is used among most supernaturals
that don't have other supernatural senses (like spirit users
having a spirit sense or ki users having a ki sense). This skill
works by using the mind's connection to the world around them,
harnessing their connection to the world through this sense.
This can sense not only one's presence, but their levels of
energy and how tough they are, allowing the user to gauge how
they stand against them, as well as often being able to tell
what they are by their presence if the user recognizes what kind
of presence it is. Most consider this like a sixth sense, and
some who use this sense can even use this to sense the presences
of ghosts and other spiritual entities if they have enough skill
to learn how to sense spirits (which is easier to master than
others, but anyone can learn). This not only allows one to sense
the presence of someone, but this allows one to sense energy as
a whole as well, making it a way to overall get a picture of the
energy around them and can identify living things based on their
presence and energy. Even among the lesser users of this sense,
most can usually sense presences to some degree to sense those
around them and how strong they are, with stronger senses being
able to sense more. However, this can be deceived by skilled
opponents, sometimes not appearing correctly if the user can't
sense the opponent's full power or use powers that fool this
sense like how ki users can suppress their power to hide from
other ki users. There are also skills that hide one's presence,
whether fully or partially which can also be used to deceive
this kind of sense (some of which are designed specifically to
fool this sense). Also, the skill level of those that use this
usually depend on the individual user, as some have stronger
senses than others, and the skill of a user to use this usually
depends on their skills, training, and how honed their senses
are. The Seiji have this sense, where they have varying ability
to use this sense. Depending on the Seiji and their abilities,
some may have stronger or unique senses, but all Seiji at least
have this sense if they have no other supernatural senses (which
usually come as a result of their unique skills or family arts).
- Seiji Psychological State: Internalized Negative Emotions: The
Seiji have unique psychological states that are a bit difference
from humans and other creatures. Seiji do not operate in
positive emotions, but only operate in negative emotions
usually. Positive emotions are usually very dangerous to Seiji,
and they can suffer ill effects if they try, so Seiji instead
focus their negative emotions. Negative emotions like anger and
hatred help the Seiji focus, in which their anger and hatred are
usually used to focus their minds like a lens to utilize their
power more effectively. Seiji use this to help them focus and
build their negative emotions, where Seiji will use their unique
psychological state as their base state. However, Seiji then go
a step further, and they internalize their negative emotions.
Rather than radiating them outward like most would, the Seiji
instead internalize their negative emotions. Not only does this
help control the Seiji's power more effectively so their
emotions don't affect their power negatively, but the main
reason Seiji do this is to store their emotions. Because Seiji
are empowered by negative emotions, they store these emotions in
them like storing power in a battery, where this essentially
allows them to store extra focused emotions that they can call
forth when they need to. The Seiji can then call those emotions
up at any time, where they can call the emotions forth to power
their abilities as they need to, rather than letting the
emotions radiate outward and letting them fade like most other
races would. In doing this, Seiji have to learn to control their
emotions, to a level that makes them able to control their minds
more easily than many other races. Some Seiji have gained such
control over their psychological states that some have grown to
levels where they are able to actively block out psychic powers
that affect the mind, or some can even prevent their thoughts
from being read by those that can read minds. For the most part,
Seiji live on negative emotions, and it should be noted that
positive emotions do usually have negative effects. For example,
positive emotions like love and hope can cause them physical
harm, and positive emotional manipulations can be a hindrance to
their ability to store negative emotions. And because of their
base state being different, Seiji do have different reactions to
different things that affect the mind, such as poisons.
- Seiji Peak Combat Training: Enhanced Psychological State
Training: Those that train in combat not only have to train
their bodies, but they have to train their minds as well. Those
with mental training in combat learn to train their minds, with
the first step to training their psychological state. Depending
on the person and what race they are, this is something that is
more necessary than others. While many supernaturals may not be
as trained as a race like the Darkfires or Hazeldines, it is
important for almost all combatants to train their psychological
states. By training their psychological states, they can keep
their mental states firm and they can keep themselves from
diving to far from whatever they train themselves to be. For
example, those that want to remain a calm and collected fighter
will often focus on calming techniques or other meditation
training to train their minds so that their minds don't easily
suffer things like fear or anger. Others can also do things like
train their minds to certain emotional states, such as how those
that rely on anger and hatred may train themselves to maintain a
certain level of anger or hatred so they can maintain their
level of emotion. This is a skill most combatants must learn,
and they can learn to utilize this in different ways depending
on the state they want to attain. For the most part, this is
designed to allow combatants to more easily keep their composure
when under extreme stress, and this training helps them to be
less likely to fall into a psychological state that they may not
want to fall into. By training their psychological states,
normal combatants strengthen their mind and are able to maintain
their minds in their desired psychological states. However,
those supernaturals that train their minds may have more purpose
to do so, as some supernaturals have to train their minds in
order to control their supernatural abilities (as most
supernatural abilities may require some form of emotional state
and may react to the emotional state used). For the most part,
this is just a basic training, and is not able to always keep
the user from falling into unfavorable states, and depending on
the user, some may not have strong enough training to resist
certain psychological conditions depending on their situation.
For magic users, this is something they have to do, because
their emotional states are usually tied to their magic and their
state of the mind training. Just like other races, Seiji have to
train their psychological states in order to utilize their
abilities. Some may have special ways of protecting their mind
and keeping their control, but Seiji are usually very controlled
compared to others, and control their emotions very effectively
(usually internalizing their negative emotions).
- Seiji Peak Combat Training: Mental Conditioning/Combatant Will
Training: This is the second part of a combatant's mental
training. This part of mental training is specifically tuned to
training a mind to resist difficult conditions, where combatants
will try to train themselves to handle mental strain during
specific situations. Specifically, some may learn to strengthen
their will to resist things like psychic abilities, certain
supernatural abilities that effect emotions, or other things
that may cause immense stress on the mind. People who train in
this often learn to resist certain conditions through physical
training, and use this alongside their psychological state
training to push their minds to resist unfavorable conditions as
much as they can. This training is made most effective when a
user can train in hard mental conditions, such as if they can
train with a supernatural who can influence the mind. Another
popular method for those that cannot train with supernaturals is
to train in meditation while trying to avoid a particular
hazard. For example, some may balance on difficult objects while
meditating (with extreme training including things like
meditating while on a spike), or some may train their minds in
tough conditions such as living in a dangerous area and learning
to focus while also focusing on their survival. This is a
training that can be done a number of ways, and is a passive
skill that any combatant can learn to some extent. Some of the
most advanced trained combatants or supernatural trained users
of this may even be able to shut down certain aspects of their
mind at will, where some can learn to do things like shut down
their sense of pain through focus. This is another ability that
depends on one's training, with supernaturals often having
better training at this than humans (though humans can still
learn this just as well if they train hard enough). Typically,
this is something that can be overcome by stronger mental
abilities, where some can use things like stronger psychic
abilities or stronger emotional influences to try and influence
the mind of the combatant. This is not a perfect training, and
may not resist every unfavorable condition. This usually depends
on the combatant and their training. Seiji train heavily in
controlling their psychological states, and use mental
conditioning the same way as human combatants to strengthen
their minds. The only difference is that Seiji do this
differently, where they do different meditation and
psychological state training.
- Peak Combat Training and Supernatural Enhanced Physical
Abilities: Combatants, whether supernatural or human, usually
train their abilities to their peak as best they can (if they
don't train then they wouldn't have combat training at all). For
the most part, the specific training depends on the person,
whether it depends on their combat training, their status as a
human or supernatural, or even on just their physical abilities.
As one might guess, this is different depending on the user, as
everyone is built differently, and different things like
different races have different physical abilities. Most often
have specific trained abilities depending on their physiology
and abilities, in which they may focus on specific stat
training, or they may have a general stat training to enhance
all their stats. Because of this, it is hard to quantify every
combatant's physical and/or supernatural enhancements. However,
there are usually two levels of enhanced stats. The first is
that users gain special training towards certain stats, which
lets them specialize in a few stats to train those stats to
levels beyond normal supernaturals. The other method is that one
can train in a more general sense and train up all of their
stats for a more even stat boost. There are advantages and
disadvantages to both methods. The specialized stats allow for
much higher stats than other supernaturals depending on the
level of specialization, but the downside is that other stats
will often suffer as a result (IE a speed and agility based
training will often mean strength may not be as well trained and
won't be as enhanced). For those that do the general training,
this offers are more even stat increase, but the stats aren't as
increased as those with specialized training. Those with
specialized training tend to focus more on their strengths, and
often have to leave out their weaker stats and find other ways
around them. However, those with generalized training often are
much more balanced and have a much easier time balancing all of
their stats in combat. Most combatants will often choose one of
these two methods to train, where they will train depending on
their own preferences. This makes each combatant unique in how
they are attuned to combat. Of course, as one might expect,
combatants may still be overcome by those with stronger stats,
or some with experience may also overwhelm the combatant's
physical abilities (as there are some things to be said for
experience giving someone better ability to counter enemies than
just raw training). Opponents experience, training, and
abilities should all be taken into account when it comes to
whether or not they may be able to overtake a combatant's own
training. The Seiji all have enhanced physical capabilities, not
just by their enhanced physiology, but also due to their many
years of combat training and attempting to unlock their full
potential in combat and supernatural abilities.
Transformation:
- Demonic Seiji Transformation: By tapping into their demonic
natures, most Seiji are able to use some sort of demonic
transformation by harnessing their demonic natures and using a
demonic style awakening of some kind, whether it is through dark
meditation, or things like raw demonic power that Seiji have.
The power they gain through these transformations usually
depends on the Seiji, as some could gain specific demon powers,
or some could get basic demon powers. This could be a simple
transformation where a Seiji just gains a demonic battle form
that just boosts their abilities (which is usually the basic
transformation many Seiji get, usually if they have other
transformations they focus on), or they can get more powerful
demonic forms that may manifest the full capability of their
demonic power. Typically, many Seiji can gain unique demonic
forms, where many of them usually can tap into their full
demonic power to bring out their power. These transformations
usually depend on the Seiji, and some may even come with unique
skills when in their transformed state. Typically, most Seiji
have some form of demonic transformation, with a few exceptions
(usually those that don't have transformation ability don't have
need of it) and Seiji are able to find ways to utilize this.
Usually though, these demonic transformations all have a similar
purpose: Boost the Seiji's power in battle considerably so that
they can overpower their opponent, or match opponent
transformations. Almost all Seiji demon transformations
accomplish this purpose, whether it's a simple transformation,
or a more complicated transformation. Depending on the
transformation, some transformations may last a long time
(usually among those that don't use too much power, aka usually
the weaker transformations), but some transformations may only
be temporary if they consume a lot of power (but they usually
get a stronger transformation in return for the extra power
consumed). For the most part though, almost all of these forms
are demonic, save for a few exceptions like one family that uses
fallen angel transformations instead of demonic. This means that
demonic weaknesses like holy water, demon-killing weapons, and
angel blades can more easily hurt Seiji in this state. Also,
like many of their abilities, holy power usually is the bane of
the Seiji's existence.
- Other Seiji Transformations (Depends on the Seiji's
abilities): Depending on the Seiji, there are plenty of Seiji
with transformations they have that are not normal demonic Seiji
transformations. This is most common when it comes to talking
about the Seiji's unique family arts, in which many families
often have unique transformed states that may be a result of
their unique arts. For example, the Kazara family usually has
draconic transformations where they usually take on dragon
traits due to their dragon power in order to strengthen their
dragon power. Another example is the Entei family, where their
transformation ability is demonic hollowfication that they use
as their own unique art. This could also be something that Seiji
hybrids may have (Although rare to see hybrids, they do
sometimes happen), in which they may combine Seiji power with
their own unique abilities as a hybrid to form unique
transformations. There are many types of transformations out
there, where most tend to be unique or serve some kind of
purpose for amplifying a Seiji's abilities (though this set of
transformational abilities usually is focused around other
abilities the Seiji has rather than relying on their demonic
power). Depending on the skills the Seiji has, this usually
determines what transformations they will be capable of. Because
there are a variety of transformation options and abilities
available, it is hard to quantify every possibility for Seiji
transformations. However, most usually are designed to boost a
Seiji's power in battle, usually as a means to build their power
up in some way. Some may be simple transformations that just
amplify the Seiji's power, or some may be more complicated
transformations that grant unique abilities to the Seiji while
transformed. These usually follow the same rules as demonic
Seiji transformations where there are many ways to handle the
transformations, except in this case, it may not be just Seiji
demon power in the transformation. However, no matter the
transformation, there are usually weaknesses, usually related to
the form transformation, such as how a Kazara family dragon
transformation would have dragon weaknesses, or the Entei family
hollowfication will usually have hollow weaknesses. And many
enhanced forms are usually forms that have a time limit due to
the power consumed when using the forms. While weaker
transformations allow longer transformation time, stronger
transformations usually take more energy and don't allow the
Seiji to stay transformed for as long.
Weaknesses:
- Removing your head killed you? Who knew? No seriously... Who
knew?: While it may be difficult, one can kill a Seiji. Their
recovery is not absolute, and they can be killed if they take
enough damage just like other beings. Typically, a very
dependable way to kill a Seiji is to cut off their heads, which
will usually kill a Seiji since they suffer the same problem of
not being able to survive without their head connected to their
body. While Seiji can reattach limbs and tissue that is severed
from their body, regenerating their heads is not something they
can do, unless someone else reattaches their head within a small
window of time (usually minutes after their head being severed).
If their head is reattached, the tissue can bind back together
and their head can reattach to the body, but this is not
something that a Seiji can do on their own, and without help to
reattach their head, they will die when beheaded. And while it
is rare, Seiji can be killed in manners similar to humans,
though it is usually rare to see unless one is using some form
of demon killing weapon or an angel blade to counter their
demonic nature and interrupt their physiology. However, the most
useful method of killing them is still cutting their head off,
since it doesn't really require any real special weapons or
abilities. The only thing that people have to be aware of are
the Seiji's physiology, where their bones and muscles are much
stronger than most think, because of the fact that Seiji bones
are made of kenzite, and that kenzite is also absorbed into
their muscles. If one understands the physiology of the Seiji,
they can counter their physiology, but cutting their head off
usually requires some understanding of their physiology and how
to more easily affect them. Of course, there are ways to make
their biology easier to deal with, most of which usually involve
using holy items/weapons, like holy water or demon killing
weapons. However, one doesn't have to prepare a bunch of holy
power to kill a Seiji if they can just cut off the head, which
is the most dependable way of killing a Seiji besides using an
angel blade to kill them (More later).
- Those angel blades sure are useful... Why doesn't everyone
carry these?: If one wants to fight a Seiji, one of the better
weapons to use on them is an angel blade, or possibly a
demon-killer blade if one cannot get an angel blade. Angel
blades have a unique effect on Seiji, who normally have bodies
that are very hard to break. Angel blades seem to pierce their
bodies much more easily than any other weapon, due to the
effects angel blade silver has on their body. While Seiji have
tough skin, their major defense comes from the kenzite in their
bones and the kenzite absorbed into their muscles. Because of
the kenzite, a Seiji's bones and muscles are extremely strong,
and normally are extremely difficult to break since the kenzite
is strong enough to act like metal when attacked. However, angel
blades have a unique effect on the kenzite in the Seiji's body.
When an angel blade comes into contact with the Seiji's kenzite
in their bodies, the kenzite reacts differently, and becomes
brittle and easy to break. Because of this, angel blades are
easily able to break the kenzite in a Seiji's body, so cutting
or stabbing them with an angel blade is far more effective than
any other weapon when it comes to harming them. To a smaller
extent demon killing blades can have a similar effect, but the
effect is nowhere near as strong as it is with angel blades.
Demon killing weapons only make it slightly easier to pierce a
Seiji's body, while angel blades can break through a Seiji's
body as easily as any other mortal creature, to the point where
the kenzite in their body can break around the wounds, which
causes more damage than just a simple stab or cut on a Seiji.
However, it is not just that effect, but the demon-killing
nature of angel blades makes it easier to kill a Seiji due to
the Seiji being demonic in nature. Angel blades work as well on
killing Seiji as they do on demons, since the Seiji have heavy
demonic natures, even among those with unique sets of abilities,
or even among Seiji hybrids. Demon killing blades are about as
close a second as one can get if one doesn't have an angel blade
though, and they do still work (just not as effectively).
- Your immune system can eat your own body? That sounds like it
would hurt: It is very rare to see Seiji get sick, due to their
strong immune response, and their adaptability. However, there
are rare times where Seiji do get sick just like humans. Seiji
usually don't suffer simple sicknesses, as most normal
sicknesses are taken out by their immune response. The only
sicknesses that can affect them are those that can survive
acidic environments (due to their blood literally being acid),
which there are a few. These illnesses that can survive in acid
and can avoid the Seiji's immune response can still kill them.
However, the one illness that kills Seiji more than any other
are autoimmune diseases. Because the Seiji have such strong
immune responses, autoimmune diseases are particularly dangerous
to them. If their lymphatic system attacks itself, it literally
eats away the body, and is the biggest natural cause of death
among Seiji (while it's rare to see Seiji die, this has killed a
few Seiji which is more than any other natural cause of death
has). Autoimmune diseases can usually be deadly to Seiji,
especially once the immune system starts eating away the brain
and heart of the Seiji due to the immune system's orange blood
cells devouring anything they consider threats and converting
the threats into helpful demonic energy that the body can use to
run on. Once the Seiji's lymphatic system attacks the body, it's
usually a death sentence for the Seiji, unless they have a way
to treat it. And thankfully, there are many auto-immune diseases
with treatments these days, so Seiji can recover from some of
them. And due to how many are out there, this is a major danger
to Seiji everywhere, especially since no one is entirely sure
what causes most autoimmune diseases. And while one can treat
some of them, Seiji may suffer a lot before they finally get
treated (assuming there's a treatment available) to the point
where some have lost some of their abilities due to the damage
done to their bodies. This is something that Seiji have major
trouble with, and they do everything they can to avoid
autoimmune diseases (even though they don't know entirely what
causes them, since their research into them has not yielded any
better results than other research).
- They say love hurts. Guess they mean that literally for you
guys, huh?: Seiji cannot feel positive emotions the way that
humans do. If they try, they will get a heavy dose of pain from
it, and that's if the emotions don't cause any lasting damage.
Most positive emotions can be very dangerous to Seiji, and if
they try to utilize those types of emotions, it doesn't go well
for them. Because the Seiji were made to utilize negative
emotions as their base state, they default to these negative
emotions, with most defaulting to anger and hatred as their base
state. The Seiji require these negative emotions to focus, and
not having negative emotions causes a Seiji to lose focus in the
same way anger will hinder a human's ability to think
rationally. Usually, positive emotions will cause Seiji to lose
focus, and be unable to control their abilities, where the Seiji
are specifically designed to never be able to utilize positive
emotions. This was to keep Seiji from eventually moving to
positive powers, where Hell had originally designed them to
never be able to move from demonic power so that they would
always have to rely on Hell for power. For the most part,
positive emotions can cause a lot of negative effects, which can
start out as an inability to focus, but can move to physical
pain that can even cause some Seiji to pass out if they suffer
positive emotions for too long. This is something that opponents
can use against Seiji, specifically among those that use
positive emotional manipulation, or psychic power to affect the
mind to influence emotional states, and can be used on Seiji
strategically if the opponent knows enough about Seiji
physiology. Positive emotional manipulation like love or hope
emotions are usually the most effective, and counter Seiji anger
and hatred. Positive emotions also hinder the Seiji's ability to
internalize their negative emotions, in which the positive
emotions can actually cause the Seiji to lose internalized
emotional energy due to the imbalance of emotions in them. As
such, this is one of the bigger threats to a Seiji, as not being
able to focus can pretty much cause any being to not be able to
fight very effectively.
- If you see a Seiji laugh... You might get a few hits in, but
you're probably going to die for it: It is very rare to ever see
a Seiji laugh. The only time that a Seiji laughs is during what
they call a homicidal laughing fit, which is appropriately
named. When in this state, a Seiji loses all self control and
starts laughing uncontrollably, which causes them to go into a
blind "rage" state where they start killing anyone around them
while they're in this state. This is a very rare state for Seiji
that temporarily drives them insane during the duration of the
laughing fit, and only happens in a few circumstances. But when
in this state, it is possible to take advantage of their
inability to focus and utilize their power, as their power
becomes interrupted when in this state since they are
technically using a positive emotion. As such, it is possible
for enemies to use this against the Seiji, as the Seiji won't be
able to stop themselves from just trying to kill everything
around them. And in this state, the Seiji also don't
differentiate enemy and ally, so this can also cause a Seiji to
try to kill allies as well since they will just go after whoever
is closest to them and will stop caring about who they are
attacking. There are a few ways this happens. When a Seiji loses
control of fear, usually by enemies using some form of fear
manipulation to increase the fear in a Seiji, this can cause a
Seiji laughing fit, as fear manipulation has been known to throw
off the Seiji unless absolutely controlled (some can use and
control it, but when it goes out of control, the Seiji do lose
control and go into laughing fits usually). Also known to cause
this are people who try to manipulate the mind of a Seiji into a
tranquil state, where if a Seiji doesn't have any negative
emotions in their mind, it temporary drives them made, and also
sends them into a laughing fit. This is something that people
can take advantage of, due to the fact the Seiji loses all
control when in this state, but because they become homicidal
maniacs in this state, it is not recommended to try and induce
this state in Seiji unless one is trying to turn Seiji against
their allies (which can work as a tactic against Seiji).
- Biology... How does it work for these guys?: While Seiji have
much stronger immune responses than humans do and can convert
things into demonic energy if they infect a Seiji's body, there
are things to note about Seiji biology. The biggest thing to
note is how certain things affect them in a negative way.
Because of the differences in their biology, there are
differences to note here. For the most part, there are a few
things that can have negative effects on Seiji. The biggest one
is known as the fear toxin. This was developed as a means to
induce fear in others, and has a very strange effect on Seiji.
As mentioned, Seiji cannot handle it when their fear comes out
of their control, and when infected with fear toxin (assuming it
gets past their immune system), the Seiji go into what they call
homicidal laughing fits (as explained earlier). Another thing to
note is that anti-depressants and sedatives that are meant to
induce peaceful or positive thoughts also have negative effects
on Seiji. Anti-depressants cause them physical pain, due to the
fact that anti-depressants react to their system by trying to
make them happier. In doing so, the Seiji suffer physical pain
while the anti-depressant is active, and this can do physical
damage if it lasts long enough. Another thing to note is
sedatives, which can induce peaceful and tranquil states. By
doing this, the Seiji also suffer physical pain, and will
sometimes go into frenzies when given sedatives. When given
sedatives, it is common for Seiji to suffer what can only be
described as a homicidal rage where they lose control of their
anger and radiate their demonic energy through their anger to
try and kill anyone around them. This is different from their
laughing fits, and instead, the Seiji becomes so enraged their
power literally explodes outward. By exploding out all their
stored anger and hatred all at once in a blast of demonic power
that will push their power outward as long as they are under the
effects of the sedative, this frenzy can cause them to lose
control and try to attack anyone in an anger that they can't
control. There are other things as well that cause Seiji pain,
most of which are things meant to cause positive emotions in
humans, or meant to treat immense anger (usually these types of
medicines have adverse effects).
- These guys are like vending machines of anger and hatred:
Demons and other psychics who feed on anger and hatred, or
similar negative emotions, will find the Seiji to be great
sources of it. Depending on the person, there are many that can
feed on emotional states, and Seiji are a great way to feed on
negative emotions. For example, demons who gain power from sin
empowerment can usually utilize Seiji emotions if the Seiji
utilize their anger and hatred (though since they internalize
their emotions, this can only be done when they actively use
their negative emotions). However, those that can use things
like psychic power to feed on emotions directly from the mind
may still be able to access the Seiji's anger and hatred, and
with their internalized emotions, those that feed on negative
emotions directly from the mind will be able to easily feed on
that energy that the Seiji have. As such, in some cases, the
Seiji's ability to use hatred and anger as their base state can
be made into a weakness under the right circumstances. In these
cases, the Seiji's emotions can be fed on, and there's very
little that a Seiji can do about it, unless they have psychic
abilities, some mental defense, or they have some ability to
counter it. Seiji are like vending machines of negative
emotions, and this can be very helpful to some, and can empower
them much more than normal negative emotion absorption due to
the fact that the Seiji store up power by internalizing their
negative emotions. The only way that many Seiji can defend
against this is to try and kill whatever is trying to feed on
their emotions, so those that try to feed on Seiji emotions do
need to be ready to be attacked by Seiji. Absorbing their
negative emotions doesn't just strengthen the person who is
absorbing the emotions, but it also weakens the Seiji, as their
stored power can be drained from them in this manner (assuming
it's a skill that drains the emotions directly from the mind and
doesn't require the Seiji to utilize their power first before
absorbing their emotional energies.
- What's your family's gimmick? Can I have a moment to research
it please?: Every group of Seiji, which are now considered
families these days, have some form of unique specialty that
demons designed them with. These add special abilities to the
Seiji, and make each family unique with a lot of unique
abilities. While Seiji still almost always have weaknesses to
holy power, the Seiji who do have unique abilities do also gain
the weaknesses of whatever powers they have. For example, the
Kazara family enhances their abilities using dragon hearts,
where their specialty is draconic energy and power. While the
Kazaras gain high levels of dragon power by eating dragon
hearts, they also gain dragon weaknesses in this manner, where
the Kazara's have most of the weaknesses of a dragon, such as
dragon hunter powers/weapons/items and the Kazara's also gain
weaknesses to counter elements to whatever dragon power they
possess. Another example is the Entei family, who specialize in
demonic hollowfication. The Entei family gains powerful ethereal
pressure that is exuded from them thanks to their power, but
they do gain weaknesses to spirit purification and spirit
destruction just like hollows. When Seiji utilize their unique
skills, every set of skills has its set of weaknesses, even for
the Seiji. For the most part, holy energy and power still works
on Seiji, but whatever powers they have do give them extra
weaknesses that can be used against them in exchange for that
power. This is also true among hybrid Seiji, where hybrid Seiji
may have other abilities that they may have depending on their
heritage. While they may have unique abilities thanks to their
heritage, they usually have the weaknesses of whatever unique
abilities they have. There are many powers out there, so it is
hard to quantify every possibility of what someone could
encounter, but every power does have weaknesses, and smart
enough opponents can usually find ways to take advantage of such
weaknesses in some way. This mostly just depends on how creative
and smart the opponent can be.
- Hmm... Demonic beings... I wonder if holy power works: Being
demonic in nature, the Seiji have specific weaknesses when it
comes to things that kill demons. While Seiji usually aren't
affected by many demon wards, there are demon killing options
that do work fairly well on Seiji. One thing that works better
than anything else, is holy power. Holy power is something that
can hurt and kill most Seiji, due to them being pretty much
purely unholy beings. For the most part, the Seiji's entire
being is demonic in nature, so things like holy power and
weapons are weaknesses that they can never truly get rid of. For
the most part, strong holy power will almost always work against
Seiji, and those with stronger holy powers like advanced holy
energies will have an even easier time against Seiji. And even
if someone doesn't have holy energy or holy power, holy weapons
can be used against Seiji fairly easily and are easy to obtain
or even make. All it takes to make a holy weapon is to either
bless it or find some kind of holy substance to soak the weapon
in, and it can have holy power applied to it in some way.
Typically, holy power and holy weapons usually depend on the
strength of the power or weapon, as Seiji do have strong demonic
energy. In order to use holy power or weapons effectively, the
power or weapon does have to overpower their demonic nature,
which does take some effort due to the fact that Seiji have such
strong demonic natures. But if a holy power or weapon user can
overpower a Seiji's demonic nature, then they can usually more
easily damage a Seiji. Holy power is often also the best way to
counter most Seiji abilities, since most Seiji use demonic
abilities. While there are some powers that may not be demonic
(such as some Seiji's family specialties), most of the powers
that Seiji have are demonic, and holy power is usually the best
way to counter most of them. If one has strong enough holy power
and can overpower a Seiji's demonic presence, they can usually
counter almost anything the Seiji has as long as they are
careful about how they fight the Seiji.
- There's a reason these guys don't go to churches: It is no
secret that Seiji have a weakness to holy power thanks to their
demonic nature. However, another part of this weakness is that
Seiji cannot enter sanctified areas, similar to creatures like
vampires. Because of their demonic nature, Seiji are somewhat
vulnerable to sanctified areas, and cannot enter sanctified
areas without taking damage. The biggest examples of sanctified
areas are sacred grounds and blessed locations like churches.
When in these locations, Seiji will take holy damage that is
generated by the holy power of the location. Even among hybrids,
it is rare for Seiji to be able to enter holy areas. The only
way they can is through demonic corruption until the holy area
loses its holy sanctification, which usually takes the Seiji
using Seiji magic to pour out demonic corruption over an area to
create corrupted grounds. Seiji magic also has a few magic
spells to break sanctification over an area, but these spells
usually require preparation and time. Typically, Seiji cannot
easily break sanctification over an area, and staying in theses
areas can usually help opponents stay in a place Seiji cannot
usually get to easily. And while Seiji can create corrupted
grounds to break sanctified grounds, all it takes to re-sanctify
the grounds is to purify the area and then just re-sanctify the
area. While Seiji can break areas of their sanctification, it
doesn't mean that the area cannot be re-sanctified. And when it
comes to corrupted grounds that the Seiji create, their
corrupted grounds can be countered the same way that the Seiji
counter sanctified grounds. By using holy purification and
sanctification, a holy user could essentially cancel out
corrupted grounds and force the Seiji to have to re-corrupt the
grounds. Both powers act as opposites, and counter each other.
In times where Seiji have battle for grounds, there has been a
lot of back and forth between them and holy users at times, so
both sides have ways of countering each other (though holy users
don't know specifically of Seiji for the most part, and just
think it's a way of countering demons).
- Oh... Holy water... Ouch: Due to the Seiji's demonic nature,
the Seiji are vulnerable to holy water and holy oil. Holy oil
works on Seiji the same way it does on demons, where holy oil
soaking them and being lit on fire can do severe damage to them.
While they don't take any burning damage due to their high
resistance to fire, the holy aspect of the holy oil does heavy
purification damage to the Seiji, and if they get burning holy
oil on them, it can easily burn away their skin. However, the
main thing to note here is their reaction to holy water. Holy
water can weaken a Seiji considerably, especially if they end up
drinking it (Which some have tried to poison Seiji with holy
water). When affected by it, Seiji take holy purification
damage, and this can do damage to them in the same way it does
to demons. This can burn a Seiji's skin, but can also be used on
weapons to allow them to more easily pierce through Seiji's
bodies, where holy water dissolves Seiji kenzite (what's in
their bones and absorbed into their muscles). Where angel blades
make kenzite brittle, holy water acts like acid to a Seiji's
kenzite in their body. And when on the skin, the holy water
melts away their tissue, and hinders their ability to recover by
using their tissue transformation as long as that holy effect is
on them. If one doesn't have an angel blade, holy water works
just as well, and is much more easily accessible. There are many
ways to get holy water, and a few methods to make holy water.
The first is to purify water, where purified water can be used
like holy water in many cases. However, this isn't reliable as
not all creatures are weak to purified water (usually vampires
are the biggest ones to note as being weak to purified water).
This method is usually makes fairly weak holy water that does
affect some creatures heavily, but the effects are not as great
as normal holy water. The second is that one can add holy
ingredients to water that will give it holy properties. This is
popular among supernatural hunters, where they will often put a
rosary into water in order to create holy water while after
saying a prayer. This is a really easy method that most can do,
and creates strong holy water that can be used well against
demonic creatures. The last is to purify water using holy
energy, which fuses into the water and gives the water holy
energy. This is by far the strongest type of holy water, and
does the most damage, but requires holy power specifically to
create holy water.
