Nightbane turns to Zelpharia. Nightbane: So... His girlfriend
leaves and suddenly you want to tell him he's the reincarnation
of your dead husband? That's a little convenient for you, isn't
it? I've manipulated Kindron in the past too, you know. So I
recognize it when I see it. He says to Zelpharia suspiciously.
Kindron: That's ENOUGH, Nightbane! He says, now annoyed at
Nightbane, grabbing Nightbane's hand and forcing his grip from
his shirt. She had no way of knowing! She's not manipulating me,
and your accusations are starting to tick me off! And if I am
the reincarnation of her dead husband, then she was right not to
tell me! He stops as he has a thought. Wait a minute... All this
time, I thought Acillia leaving had nothing to do with my past
memories reawakening... But maybe I was wrong. He says before
turning to Zelpharia. If I am the reincarnation of your past
husband... Suddenly, I think I'm starting to understand. It may
have been that incarnation that is trying to push his way
through my memories to remind me about you and him.
Nightbane: That's stupid. You think that just because you're
single again, NOW your past self is trying to hook you two up?
He says to Kindron.
Kindron: That's a bit of an oversimplification... But it makes
sense. I didn't meet Zeph until after I was with Acillia. The
memories probably didn't show up while I was with Acillia
because my past incarnation probably didn't want to force the
knowledge on me and ruin my relationship with Acillia. And then
Acillia leaves and suddenly my memories are going haywire from
past lives, including remembering a life where I knew Zeph. I
knew something that happened after Acillia left might have been
what opened the flood gate of memories, but I had dismissed the
idea of her leaving being the trigger because I didn't think it
had anything to do with her.
Nightbane finds a spot to sit down and starts drinking again.
Nightbane: So... My girlfriend dies, and I just lose everything.
Your dead husband dies and gets reincarnated for you to find
again. While I'm here as a witness just to get tormented. He
says to Zeph, seeming to give up on his anger as he goes back to
drinking. Man... The universe has a REAL sick sense of humor. He
says, going back to being depressed.

Zelpharia becomes visibly upset as Nightbane makes his
accusations. She was already shaken just by the possibility
because of how dark that portion of her life got after Mar'kin
died. She tries to keep her composure as Kindron and Nightbane
go back and forth. She's thankful that the holographic system is
connected to the food synthesizer. She uses her telemechanic
ability and silently asks for a Klingon whiskey shot. One
appears in her right hand and takes half of it in a swig.
Zelpharia: Oh it's a bloody twisted sense of humor. I still
suffer from occasional night terrors from the 100 year nightmare
after the death of Mar'kin. She then takes the rest of the shot
and silently asks for another.
Tomasic: Now I have a better idea of what I've missed while in
the armory. Kindron always has been the considerate type every
time I've come across him so I can see his past lives do such a
thing. He says as he looks to Kindron and Nightbane. Tomasic:
Amazing how strong the memories are this time that you
recognized the connection to Zephy considering this is her
second incarnation. You could never remember our meetings that
fast. He says with a bemused look.

Kindron: Well... I don't think it's just about Zeph though. I
think my past incarnations, particularly my first one, are
trying to warn me about something. My first incarnation in
particular. Most of my memories aren't starting at where I've
lived, but usually how I've died. In every life I can remember
so far, I was murdered in some way. It feels like my lives are
warning me, making me remember the times I've died. I also need
to figure out the mystery of why I've been getting killed in
every life. This is by far the longest life I've lived, and the
only one I can remember ever being a vampire or werewolf, let
alone both. Normally I'm human in these lives, except for a few
randoms here and there. He explains to Tomasic. It's not just
about the lives themselves, but I need to figure out what
they're trying to tell me.
Nightbane just stays silent, now drinking as he listens to the
group.

Tomasic listens to Kindron with an attentive look and folded
hands in lap. Tomasic: Sounds like you're at the same place we
started at last we met. I can help you focus on each past life,
but you'll need to handle me and trust me.
Zelpharia: But won't that have adverse side effects on Kindron's
health? She asks with more concern than she meant to show.
Tomasic: I can't harm those protected by either the Goddess or
one of her close allies from the beginning of time. He says with
a bit of a grin to Zelpharia and Kindron. Tomasic: My Mistress
has a very special like for Kindron.

Kindron: Why do you make it sound so ominous? He says jokingly
when in response to Tomasic's last comment. Also... Is it gonna
be a problem that my first incarnation was a guardian of a land
that was closely connected to Orion, the god of the spirit
realm? I know the great guardians in my family of that
incarnation were blessed with his power. And I know the spirit
realm is about the power of life and spirits. And as I'm
remembering these abilities I have, it seems like the power I
got from that heritage is getting stronger. Someone empowered by
the power of life holding a sword of death seems... like a bad
idea. He says to Tomasic, a bit worried. Of course, he didn't
know as much about Tomasic as some others did, so he didn't know
how Tomasic would affect him.
Nightbane just sits and watches, drinking silently.

Tomasic gets a surprised look upon Kindron speak about his
family's Great Guardian history in his first life. Tomasic: Your
memory is far more advanced than last we met. Orion is a close
ally of the Goddess Zelpharia. Orion was always one of her
favorite allies so I'm quite familiar with the Great Guardians.
I'm quite familiar with all of the guardian families such as
that of the Shadow Realm. He gets a relaxed smile. Tomasic: As
me, I am not just a weapon of death but also of life and rebirth
aka reincarnation. We'll be fine. At least you thought about
that before picking me up this time. Perhaps we'll actually get
more pieces of the puzzle before you're killed this time.
Zelpharia keeps quiet and sips on her drink. She's confused at
what is going on and hoping to make sense of it as she listens.
Tara's holographic form reappears next to Nightbane. This time
she's dressed more like a secretary with her blond hair in a
messy bun and reading glasses on top of her head. She doesn't
want to interrupt so remains quiet with a look that's a mix of
excitement and confusion.

Kindron: Well... I'm kinda hoping to avoid that this time, you
know? He says jokingly in response to Tomasic's comment about
trying to figure it out before he dies again. Okay... So how
does this work? Do I just touch you, or do you take sword form?
He says curiously as he looks at Tomasic's holographic form, not
knowing that Tomasic's sword form was in the armory.
Nightbane looks over to Tara's hologram. Nightbane: What's with
the secretary attire? He asks her curiously.

Tomasic: Actually you or Zephy need to retrieve me from this
crystal and electrode magic stand contraption that allows me to
use the holographic system. Tomasic says to Kindron with a
bemused smile. Tomasic understands that Kindron doesn't realize
that his true self is in the armory.
Zelpharia takes the rest of her shot and then walks towards the
door that leads to the armory. Zelpharia: That's my cue since I
know where the armory is better than K. I'll be back in a couple
of moments.
Tara looks to Nightbane with a bright, warm smile and a glint of
humor. Turning her head to look at Nightbane reveals a pencil
half hazardly weaved into her hair. Tara: Well earlier you said
Kindron could use an assistant to help remind him and thought
this would be a funny play on that. She ends with a soft giggle.

Kindron: Alright... I guess I'll wait here. He says with a
shrug.
Nightbane: Huh. I mean, it works I guess. He says in response to
Tara. I'd say the form suits you.
Kindron: Heh... Suits... Because she's in a suit. He says
jokingly as he hears Nightbane's unintentional pun.

Tara's smile gets even brighter with Nightbane's compliment even
if Kindron did joke about the unintentional pun.
Tomasic can see what's about to happen with how happy Tara just
got. Tomasic: In coming hug in 3.. 2....
Before Tomasic finishes counting, Tara goes to give Nightbane a
warm, excited hug. If he doesn't move, then he'll feel how real
and solid Tara's holographic form is. Tara: Oh thank you for the
compliment, Nightbane! It's sweet of you to say.
Tomasic: Like clockwork. Poor energy being needs more friends.
He says with a chuckle.
