Anna: Protecting our children after they're born shouldn't be
too hard. First, our nanny is a guardian angel with some unique
protection abilities. Second, the daycares and schools I use are
for supernaturals and have been watching out for Donny and
Cheyenne for awhile since enrolling them. Third, we have Laura
who can summon guardian spirits if we need to have extra
protection between us and TenTen. Plus Peggy and M could also
work up some technology to help as well if we need them to. She
says to Keirran with a thoughtful look. Anna: I am trying to
think if we'll need other forms of protection.
Karna: If you two have an extra room or a guest house until I
can find a place on Earth, then I'll stick around and help
protect Anna and the kids after the triplets are born. I've been
told that it's about time to set down some more permanent roots
in one universe so maybe this is a good reason. Karna says to
Keirran and Anna. Karna: Then I can also get to know you and
your family better, Keirran.

Alathen: Just be careful. Too many wards and protections will
have the opposite effect, and may draw unwanted attention to
you. Using too much protection is going to be calling out that
you have something valuable to hide. He says to Anna.
Kierran: I'm sure we can find you somewhere to sleep. He says to
Karna when he mentions wanting to stick around until Anna's
children are born.

Anna: Good point, Alathen. I'm just going into over worried mode
after past experiences. TenTen and us with what wards I have
here should be enough until the boys hit school age. Then I can
just have make some tracking watches for extra protection. She
then thinks a moment and remembers how quickly Donny and
Cheyenne developed their powers.. especially Donny's conduit
powers. Anna: Hopefully the boys don't develop conduit powers
before turning one like Donny did. That over achiever could turn
himself into smoke before he could walk which didn't help
walking lessons nor keeping him out of the cookie jar.
Karna: Hopefully it's not too hard to find a place here with how
big it is. I bet it even has servant quarters. He says as he
looks a round at the inside of the two story plantation home
with a bit of a grin. Karna: This place is basically a mansion
especially compared to some of the places I've stayed. Klingon
ships don't have exactly the most comfortable sleeping quarter
for example. He says to Keirran as he looks back to Keirran.

Alathen: To be quite honest, I don't know what to expect either.
I've honestly never seen Seiji kids because it doesn't usually
happen. We don't love like other races. Most people never
understand that we can't feel love, or that it physically hurts
us to use positive emotions. So we Seiji don't exactly do the
whole relationship thing. Even among our own kind it's difficult
for us to bond sometimes. He says, but then realizes he got
off-track. He stops and goes back to what he was saying.
Sorry... Rambled there for a moment... We Seiji were created as
adults, and with very few kids ever being born, it's gonna be
hard to predict. I can ask my nieces what their childhood was
like. But that's about all the info I'm gonna be able to get
about Seiji kids. He thinks for a moment. I don't know if
they'll even have souls, or if it will be an Seiji ether... Or
some kind of mix of the two. It depends on how much of them is
from my brother's DNA and how much Kierran's soul will have
influence on the kids powers. It's possible that with Kierran
having a death wraith soul, the kids could have full death
wraith souls with Seiji/Death Wraith hybrid bodies.
Kierran: Can't say I know much about Klingon culture. He says
with a shrug to Karna's comment.

Anna: It's fine if you ramble. She says to Alathen with a smile.
Anna has been with Keirran long enough to have learned how
positive emotions can be harmful to seiji and has adjusted quite
well. She never really needed all the lovey-dovey daily romance
treatment to know that Keirran loves and cares about her and the
kids. Anna: This will be interesting to see how the boys'
abilities and souls considering that they'll be the first of
their kind in this universe. Just thinking about the
possibilities is hard to do with so many. I do have one question
though. Is it really possible for their souls to be a blend of
seiji ether and death wraith soul? Anna says to Alathen with a
tone of curiosity. She had never heard of ether and soul
blending into one before and quite curious if it is possible.
Karna: Fair enough. I can't say I know much about this Earth's
culture so we're even there. I can say that I know other
alternate versions of you including a vampire version. He says
to Keirran as he leans against the staircase. Karna: Just like
I've met a couple of alternates of both Callahan and Keir.
Rita: Oh God forbid if we end up with an alternate of Keir. She
giggles softly to herself.

Alathen: I suspect it is possible... My nieces are part Hell
Knight. And the central point in the ether where our spiritual
essence is for them is where their demonic spiritual energy is
generated And then they have the black smoke we call Caliburn
energy that is generated from our spiritual essence, similar to
how you other races have spirit energy. So it's like the inner
central point is the demon soul and the outer part is the ether.
He explains to Anna. We Seiji have always wondered what would
happen if we had a child with someone with a soul... We always
wondered what kinds of ethers might be possible with Seiji
hybrids. He then shrugs. But none of us really care to spread
knowledge of Seiji around by interacting with other races to
find out.
Kierran: I have an alternate kid who apparently told me about a
few different versions of me. Apparently, one of which gets
adopted by a lesser family. And then he told me about how in
some universes, Anna and I are the ones that rebel against the
other death wraiths instead of Drakath and Drakath's team is the
one that ends up stopping my team. Apparently, the kid said that
there aren't many universes where Drakath and I don't really get
to become friends... Most universes stories end in one of our
teams rebelling against the death wraiths. Usually in failure.
He says in response to Karna, remembering some of the things Zaz
had told him.

Outside a magic portal opens up on the porch. A fairly large,
severely wounded werewolf carrying a wounded and unconscious
vampiress in his arms steps through and then drops to one knee
with a soft but noticeable thud upon the wooden porch as the
portal closes from the fading magic.
Anna gives Alathen a soft smile. Anna: Well, now we'll get to
find out once the boys are born.. Uncle Alathen. She then laughs
softly until she hears a odd noise outside. Anna goes quiet and
looks to the door.
Karna: You don't want to see a universe where you were
successful at rebelling against the death wraith, brother. It
ain't pretty with how evil that version of our family is so I
can only imagine what it would be like if this Drakath did the
same thing. He says to Keirran as he goes to pull out a flask.
He then pauses and looks towards the front door as he hears a
faint thud of something or someone heavy landing on the front
porch. Karna: Did you hear that or am I suffering from
traveler's sickness?
Keir wordlessly looks towards the door as Karna says something.
He was starting to feel the alcohol a bit and pouring over the
events of the day so didn't notice the sound.
Rita: I heard it too and probably better than the rest of you. I
can also smell what they are. One male werewolf, one female
vampire, and fresh blood. She turns her head to Callahan as she
speaks knowing that hearing about fresh blood would bring out
his doctor side.
Callahan: Dad, did you tell anyone you're hear?
Keir: No. None of my patients know I'm here.
Anna's face turns white with worry and fear at hearing Rita's
description what she's smelling. Anna: Oh dear lord.. please
no...

Alathen was able to sense the arrivals as well, turning as the
others also notice. Alathen: They're not familiar to me. He
turns to Anna, noticing Anna's response. I take it you have an
idea what's going on. And I'm guessing we need to step in and
help. He says to Anna.
Kierran just stays silent, not sure what was happening. After
the others had mentioned new arrivals, Kierran focuses his
senses and realizes that others had appeared. Kierran: Darn this
body... You'd think after so many years I'd learn to focus these
senses better. He says to himself.

Anna stands up and rushes to the door as she answers Alathen.
Anna: Yes just because there's only one werewolf that I know who
associates with a vampire. Sasha is one of the bodyguards of my
friend, Nadia. Nadia is the other woman who helped Lila and me
puree Cesdreal so we could escape. Lila was the angel who
appeared during Anna's and Keirran's Christmas party after she
had been severely beaten and wings ripped off, making Lila
mortal. She had been beaten by Cesdreal and sent as a warning to
Anna. Anna: Keir, go to the Ventrue blood bank and get 4 bags of
blood from men between the ages of 16 to 30. She says to Keir as
she reaches the door. Anna: Keirran.. Alathen.. Sasha is too big
for me to lift if he's severely injured. Everyone, be on your
guard in case this is a trick. Anna then opens the door to
reveal Sasha bleeding heavily and struggling to hold Nadia in
his arm. Nadia is unconscious and bleeding from multiple wounds.
Sasha: Someone.. please.. take Lady.. Nadia. Sasha huffs and
pants with strain in his voice.
Callahan: Rita, grab dad's bag and get ready just in case.
Rita: Right. She says as she goes for Keir's bag.
Keir just shakes his head and walks into the shadows going to
the blood bank.

Kierran and Alathen follow Anna. Alathen goes to help Nadia,
while Kierran was trying to help Sasha as best he could.
