Keir is surprised by Alathen's presence but does suspect that
Alathen might be suppressing his presence. Keir remains leaned
against the stairs as Alathen walks down them and takes a sip of
his drink. He is impressed with the fact that Alathen has a void
dragon stone though and happy to find out where Satan's dragon
stone ended up. Keir: Ah now there's a real seiji. You must be
this Alathen that Keirran has spoken of that helped him this
long. Please excuse so many death wraiths, but we wish to learn
more about what you've done to help Prince Keirran. Keir's voice
is cordial and shows no dislike nor hate for Alathen based on
race. Keir has to admit to having his share of fun with female
demonic beings including seiji. Purists would blame his time on
Earth for erasing his "common" senses about beings like seiji.
Something that Alathen would be able to sense about Keir is that
he senses as both ancient for a death wraith but also somehow
physically younger than most everyone in the room. Keir: I am
Dr. Keir Alastair, but please call me Keir.
Callahan had just opened Keir's phone (luckily knowing how
simple the pass code is) when Alathen first begins walking down
the stairs. He types a quick message to Elena and sends it as
Keir speaks to Alathen. Like Keir, Callahan doesn't seem to mind
what race Alathen is but mentally he takes notes on what he's
sensing. It's not often that he's in the presence of someone
with two dragon stones let one. Callahan looks up to Alathen as
he leans back in his seat and lowers a hand into the shadows.
Callahan: And I am Dr. Callahan Alaister.. at least that's what
the adoption paperwork says. You can call me Callahan or Cal.
Callahan says to Alathen once Keir is done talking. Callahan
then uses the shadows that his hand is in to summon Karna who
seems busy and unhappy with being disturbed.. but at least he's
in this universe.
Anna and Rita finally return from the kitchen in time to notice
Alathen walking from the top of the stairs. Anna smiles to
Alathen as she's come to see him as a good friend.. plus
Cheyenne and Little Donny adore Uncle Alathen. Anna: Well the
conversation must be getting more interesting if Alathen is
here.
[B]Rita takes a pause as even though Alathen is suppressing his
presence her supernatural senses can still smell the familiar
scent of demon and sulfur. Not like she hasn't smelled it before
but gets taken off guard when not warned. Rita regains her
composure and takes a seat next to Callahan with his tea.[/b]
Rita: Sí, it must be. She says to Anna. She then addresses
Alathen with a warm smile. Rita: Hello, I'm Callahan's better
half, Rita.

Alathen: Alathen Kazara. He says simply, introducing himself.
After hearing the group, he looks to Kierran. Since when do
people call you "prince"? He asks Kierran.
Kierran just shrugs. Kierran: It's one of those stupid nobody
becomes important stories, I guess.
Alathen: Hmm... Is that so? He says as he looks to the group.

Keir takes a sip of his drink as Keirran and Alathen speak to
each other. Keir: Aye, that is so and a long story. Extreme
Cliff Notes, Toranoraos took a death wraith form and created the
four royal death wraith families and his siblings created the
families of the high nobles as the first line of defense against
Xeles, the dark spirits, and whatever else is in Xeles' portion
of the Shadow Realm. When bad guys took over the Council, they
declared all royals and high nobles as enemies of the death
wraith people and began assassinations. Keirran was hidden and
denied the truth for his safety. Now your brother has possession
of a prince's body while you saved the prince's soul.
Callahan: And that brings us to where we're at now which is
figuring out a few problems. That's very basics and got a sword
to prove Keirran's heritage further proof is needed. Callahan
finishes so Keir doesn't make things long wind. He then takes a
sip of his iced tea and looks to Alathen with a grateful smile.
Callahan: So thank you for saving my little brother, Alathen.
Elena's presence would be the first thing everyone notices when
she arrives within shadows in the ballroom. She could sense
where Keir is thanks to the shadow he's producing from leaning
against the staircase. She would sense oddly for a death wraith.
First is the high amount of life-force energy combined with
death-force energy. Second is the fact that she also senses as a
fallen angel and a vampire but in a chimera type of way. She
walks to the doorway of the ballroom as Keir and Callahan speaks
and looks around with an interested smile and a raised eyebrow.
She remains quiet for a moment but takes a special note of
certain people in the room.

Alathen: I didn't do it initially to save a death wraith... I
did it because my brother disgraced all Seiji-kind. And I need
Kierran to help me take out my brother. He explains to Callahan.
He studies Elena's presence for a moment, but stays focused on
the group. Of course, he wasn't going to admit that he'd taken a
liking to Kierran, and that he saw Kierran as a kindred spirit
at this point.
Keirran also noticed Elena's presence as she entered the room,
but says nothing for now.

Callahan: I see. He says to Alathen with a slight raised
eyebrow. He wants to be a smartass about how it's apparently
been 10 to 12 years but decides to save himself from being
slapped by Rita. Callahan: Regardless of your reasons, my thanks
stands.
Keir expected some kind of self-interest answer from Alathen but
isn't one to make judgement by that alone since it has been 10
to 12 years that Alathen has stuck around. Keir instead
acknowledges Elena's presence. Keir: Not going to say hello and
introduce yourself, are you, Elena? He says without looking back
to her.
She just gives him a friendly yet curt little smile though
Keir's back is to her. She appears to be of Native American and
Black American heritage in her human form even if she is an odd
sensing death wraith. Elena: I was just letting a long winded
old man attempt at a short explanation. Now that I've heard that
much, I have a better understanding of what I am sensing with
the death wraith souled seiji. Elena then looks to the others
with a more friendly smile. Elena: Hello to you all. I am Elena
Lifewalker. It is an interesting pleasure to meet everyone in
what I assume is a pow-wow of knowledge to figure this problem
that Keir says he needs my help for. She looks to Alathen with
particular interest and a curious, almost seductive side smile.
It's not everyday that she gets to meet a seiji of such power as
to have two dragon stones. Elena: And I would love to know
exactly how you managed to keep the body from rejecting his soul
without being a soul manipulator like me.
Anna gives Elena an awkward smile as she feels a bit
subconscious about her appearance compared to the other female
death wraith. Anna has been having weird feelings and mood
swings lately with this being one of those moments. Anna: Hello.
I'm Anna and this... She was going to introduce Keirran until
she notices how fascinated with Alathen that Elena has become.
Karna opens the closet door under the staircase and walks out of
the dark storage room. He's not dressed in his usual nicer
clothes but instead he's dressed in a pair of gi pants and a
white tank top with martial arts training shoes on and a towel
draped around his shoulders. His hair is wet with sweat, but
he's apparently wiped himself dry of sweat. Something odd about
him is that he has several magic tattoos along his arms with a
couple on his back and chest. He doesn't look happy about being
asked to come to some stranger's home for some kind of emergency
and his clothes give a hint on why. Karna was going to rudely
ask why the hell he was summoned while he was training with
Rosetta and meeting Dufort for the first time until he senses
Keirran and stops dead in his tracks.. the closet door closing
behind him. Karna: Please don't tell me...
Callahan: Yep, that's our little brother, Keirran, in that seiji
body. Callahan says to Karna with a calm, "I'm not kidding" look
and then sips his iced tea.
Karna: laanat hai... He swears softly under his breath as he
realizes this must be a meeting to discuss whatever happened to
Keirran. Karna is in and out of the universe so much that he
hasn't paid attention to what had been happening in his own home
land. Now that reality is hitting him hard as he looks to
Keirran in disbelief.

Alathen turns to Elena when she mentions wanting to know how
Alathen kept Aeron's body from rejecting Kierran's soul.
Alathen: It wasn't easy. Seiji ethers are very different from
souls. He says, hoping he wouldn't have to explain the
difference between the two. Seiji ethers were like mass of black
smoke containing their spiritual essence, rather than being a
spirit like a soul. Seiji ethers were somewhat more like human
turned demons in terms of how their soul worked, but still were
different enough that the Seiji ethers were a different kind of
spiritual presence altogether. I had to complete my brother's
research on the body switching ability to learn how he was
planning to stabilize the switch. I used a Seiji spell that I
knew my brother was going to use to keep his ether tethered to
Kierran's body, but it wasn't as simple as just making it work
in reverse to keep the body tethered to the soul. It took me a
few years, but I managed to stabilize Kierran in my brother's
body. After a few times of using the spell, the spell fooled the
body into believing Kierran's soul is it's actual soul. I also
restored the chains that bond the soul to the body that Kierran
lost when his soul was severed from his body to the Seiji body,
thankfully before he turned into a hollow... It wasn't easy
since Seiji don't have those chains like other mortal races. But
after I did all that, Kierran is now able to keep his soul
tethered to that body, and if it does ever need another use of
that spell, I taught Kierran how to use it. Kierran seems able
to keep himself tethered now without my help. Though if he does
ever need my help, I am always willing to help him.
Kierran just stays silent for the moment.

She tilts her head a bit in thought and smiles when Alathen said
that it wasn't easy due to differences between seiji souls and
mortal souls like death wraiths and humans. She's well aware of
the differences. She's genuinely impressed by Alathen as he
explains what he had to do to help Keirran stabilize. Elena:
Quite impressive. I applaud you for what you accomplished
considering how difficult such a task is when using magic. I
could teach you more if you're ever interested. She says to
Alathen with an impressed tone of voice. She then looks to Anna
and Keirran with a knowing smile. Elena: With such stabilizing,
it's clear why I sense that Keirran is nearly perfectly
harmonized with the body. Returning Keirran to his own body may
require such stabilization again because of the harmony. At
least I can stabilize faster than seiji magic.. She then thinks
for a moment as she looks intently at Keirran and Anna. Elena:
There is a faster technique that I can do though that would
leave Keirran in this body while giving him his original body at
the same time. I could then just take body snatching seiji soul
straight to where he belongs. That would make Keirran stronger
in many ways plus ensure that no stabilization will ever be
needed again. It would also accomplish taking care of your
brother among other things more personal in this situation.
Keir listens to Elena talk with Alathen and the others about
Keirran's situation and how she can help Keirran... and possibly
take care of Aeron. He understands which technique that Elena is
talking about and is one her family is well known for.
Anna listens to Elena closely as she talks to Alathen but then
feels awkward when Elena focuses on her and Keirran. She almost
feels like a test subject being watched which makes her move a
bit closer to Keirran.
The others in the room stay quiet for the moment.

Alathen: I'm not much of a soul manipulator, unfortunately.
That's not really my thing. I only used that magic to save
Kierran's life and keep him from passing into the afterlife. He
says in response to Elena's comment about teaching him more.
Kierran: Wait... You could give me my body back and keep me in
this body? How would that even work? Wouldn't that require
splitting my soul into pieces or something? He asks curiously
when Elena mentions what she was planning to do.

Elena isn't surprised by Alathen's answer to her comment. She
just gives Alathen a coy smile and says with an almost
flirtatious tone. Elena: I know much more than just soul
manipulation. One doesn't meld a fallen angel into their own
body and not learn how to wield its abilities. That's just one
thing and not even the fun one. She gives Alathen a suggestive
wink and then answers Keirran questions with a more serious
tone. Elena: No.. no soul splitting is required. My family
developed a unique technique with our life-force manipulation
that allows us to literally meld a soulless physical body into
our or an ally's physical body. Basically seamlessly melding two
separate bodies into one physical body. We call it the Chimera
Meld technique. You gain all the strengths and abilities of both
beings and can fully or partially transform between the forms.
It has many benefits and is less risky than reversing what has
been done.
Anna: I really like the idea of a less risky way of getting
Keirran his natural body back. Anna says softly after listening
to Elena explain her family's technique.

Alathen: I see. So it's like absorbing a body into your being
and taking it's powers. That's an interesting technique.
Kierran: That doesn't sound too different from the technique
Aeron Kazara has been teaching death wraiths since taking over.
Except that it copies the essence of the person they want to
copy the powers of instead of fusing to a body.
Alathen: What are the risks of this technique of yours? He asks
Elena, after hearing Anna voice her concern.
