Keir: Jesus! Bloody hell! A seiji is in control of YOUR body!
Jumping jehosaphat.. no wonder home is going to hell and taking
the Living Realm with it. Keir says in complete surprise with a
fair amount of anger. He walks closer to Anna and Keirran. Keir:
Anna, can you be an angel and get me a double Jameson on the
rocks? I'm going to need for this one.
Anna smiles a bit to Keir. Anna: Sure thing, Keir. She then runs
off to the ballroom where the liquor bar is.
Keir: As for you, Keirran. If I can stand in a room for 12 hours
helping your mother deliver you, then I can handle your long
story, lad. Keir says as he returns his attention to Keirran.
Keir: Please enlighten me about how this seiji managed to get
your body.

Kierran: Well then... I should start by asking. How much do you
know about Drakath's rebellion? He asks Keir. Depending on his
answer, it would determine where Kierran would have start his
explanations. Depending on when Keir cut himself off from death
wraith society, he might know that Drakath was leader of the top
dark souls hunter team in the death wraith society in the same
way Kierran was considered one of the best lost soul hunters of
the death wraith society. Drakath and Kierran had competed many
times in combat competitions, with their teams often friendly
competing with each other before Drakath rebelled. However, that
went out the window after Drakath and his team rebelled after
the death of Kierran's adopted father, Revon Black. After
Revon's death, Drakath took a violent rebellion in order to try
and force the death wraiths to allow emotions as Revon's
peaceful approach hadn't worked (and not till later found out
that his death was planned by one of the death wraith council
members). Although it turned out Drakath's ultimate goal was
taking over the death wraith order himself and changing the
rules from what he felt was a self destructive path. All of this
would be before Anna was exiled, and that didn't cover Drakath
and some of his team's escape from containment which happened
after Anna was exiled. While Kitsune managed to make it to the
living world and hide from the death wraiths, Drakath was found
by Kierran and his team (or what was left of his team after Anna
had been exiled and Tarich had left the death wraith order to
live in the living world) and taken down after a long war
lasting years against Drakath's followers.

Keir: I know of Drakath's Rebellion and even trained some of his
people in death wraith medicine and field medics. Many
self-exiles on Earth have helped him at one point, but he tried
to keep most of us and our living realm families out of the
rebellion involvement. Lost track after dark spirit and shadow
demon attacks on the Living Realm became steadily more frequent.
Obviously I found out about Anna's condition and been trying to
solve it since. He pauses a moment as he thinks about Revon and
a look of loss crosses his face. Keir: And your adopted father
was a good man who I wished had taken my advice. Now how about
catching me up from around Anna's exile. He says with a sigh and
returns to a more neutral look.
Anna reaches the bar and makes Keir's drink.

Kierran: Alright then... He leans against the wall as he thinks
on where to start. Well... After Anna was exiled, not too long
after, the incident seemed to serve as a means for Drakath and
his team to escape containment awaiting their exile to the
Twilight Realm. Drakath and many of his team members escaped. My
team pursued. It took me years, but I managed to finally hunt
down Drakath and kill him. He wasn't alone though. Something the
Council never told people was that Drakath had the support of
the Seiji on his side when he rebelled. I only know because I
fought them. But the Council never told people just how angry
the Seiji got at us. He looks to Keir. I'm sure you remember...
What happened when the first Seiji died. How no one knew what to
do with their "souls." There was no place in the Hall of Souls
at the time, and they couldn't go to heaven. They couldn't be
sent back to hell, and they were human enough that they could
escape purgatory. So when the death wraith did the "logical"
thing and threw the Seiji soul into the void, it really pissed
off the Seiji who felt we screwed over one of them and felt we
were going to do the same to them when they die. He sighs.
Apparently, Drakath convinced them that the reason it happened
was the lack of emotions and cold logic the death wraith had. So
the Seiji sided with Drakath, and Drakath went from just trying
to change the death wraiths, to trying to take over both the
Council AND the living world. After years of struggle, my team,
or what was left of it after Anna and Tarich both went into
exile, beat Drakath and killed him. Kitsune Resei, his second in
command, got away, but Drakath himself was finally taken out. He
then points to his body. However, one particular Seiji named
Aeron Kazara came up with a plan to take over the Death Wraiths,
and used a body switch Seiji spell on me. We don't know enough
about Seiji to know their full abilities, so he was able to pull
one over. And thanks to special Seiji wards and magic, he made
his "soul" feel just like mine so no one would know that he
wasn't me. He left me for dead. Thankfully I was saved by his
brother, Alathen Kazara, who has been training me to take on
Aeron Kazara. From what I understand, Aeron has built a new
team, and according to Alathen, is seeking to evolve the death
wraiths. Apparently, the last council was hunted down and killed
by dark spirits who infiltrated our home land. We don't know
how, but I assume it was Aeron Kazara who let the death wraiths
into our home land. After the deaths of the council, everyone
was too scared to step up because anyone who did would soon die
of "mysterious" circumstances. Eventually "Kierran" was forced
to take command by the other death wraiths once they got
desperate and called for him to take command because he was the
only person who could take on dark spirits. Apparently, as me,
Aeron kazara built his own team, the Black Moon group, based on
the demon lord Balor Beimnech's own group, in order to manage
the path to the living world. Ever since the death of the
council, and the dark spirit storms that started plaguing our
home after that, Aeron has pretty much run the place uncontested
because he's slowly building the death wraiths back up.
Supposedly, he has an art that can allow a death wraith to, one
time, absorb essence from another being and gain power from
another being. He used it when he fought Balor Beimnech or
something, and got his demonic power, including his demonic eye.
Aeron has been trying to build up the death wraiths, though what
he's planning to do with the death wraiths, we don't know. We
only know that supposedly, he's been rebuilding the place after
the storms of dark spirits started, and his team basically is
trying to protect the death wraith home. However, considering
the death toll has been catastrophic, there isn't enough people
to protect the path to the living world. Especially with the
fact that Drakath's team no longer operates there, because he
killed about 90% of dark spirits that came into our territory
when his team was operating.

Keir: Jesus... He sighs as he listens to Keirran. Now he wishes
he had taken a more active role in fighting the Council than he
had done. Unfortunately, this also means that he and other
self-exiles from the days of the 3rd Death Wraith Council
(council prior to Keirran's, Drakath's, and Anna's births) were
absolutely correct in their predictions of what would happen.
The weakening of death wraith abilities necessary for fighting
dark spirits and the declaration of all royal and high noble
death wraiths as enemies of the race was all Keir and others
needed then to predict the events of today. Keir: With the
exception of unforeseeable aspects, what you just told me is
something that I and other self-exiles had predicted and warned
about before the Hoshu-teki cult took over the Council
completely. Once the royal bloodlines of Toranoraos became
declared enemies of the death wraith race and hunted down by the
Hoshu-teki controlled Council, the signs of critical decay of
our people and the protection of the living realm became clear.
Another self-exile often exclaimed and accused the Hoshu-teki
cult of making dark deals with Xeles and the dark spirits back
before I exiled myself. I use to think that was a far stretch
back in my younger days as what Death Wraith would be that power
hungry and desperate to gain their desire. Now I have to wonder
if that death wraith was right as killing off and reaping the
souls of those who are no longer of use isn't below those types
of entities. He says as he thinks about what Keirran has told
him about what has happened since he lost touch. Keir: Still I
am surprised that you actually lived long enough to see the fall
of the Council and have your body stolen by this fool Aeron.
That's where Revon gains more of my respect for pulling off
considering your royal bloodline.
Anna puts the bottle back after finishing pouring Keir's drink
and begins heading back to Keirran and Keir.

Kierran sighs. Kierran: I only wish I'd seen the signs sooner...
I should have picked up on it when they had my father kille- He
stops as something Keir said just clicked in his mind. Wait,
what? Did you say "royal bloodline"? My father wasn't a royal
bloodline. He says, completely confused thinking that Keir was
talking about the Black family, and talking about Revon.

It doesn't take more than Keirran's comment to tell Keir that
Revon never told Keirran the truth. Keir: Revon never told you
the truth of your birth. Oh this might be a longer talk.
Anna interrupts just briefly to hand Keir his drink. Anna: Here
you go, Keir.
Keir: Thank you. He then takes a sip and looks to Keirran.
Keir: Keirran, Revon and his wife weren't your birth parents.
Revon was your uncle who adopted you when you were but a month
old. His sister, Maiti, is your mother and widow of the last
leader and crowned king of the Rajnish family. You're
technically a prince. Revon must have hid that knowledge in
order to protect you from the Council.

Kierran: That makes no sense... I was just a child, abandoned at
birth. Revon Black found me adopted me. That was it. That was
all anyone knew about my birth family No one was ever able to
track down my birth family. Not for lack of trying. Revon Black
tried to find my birth parents for years. And I know he did try
because I remember that. Are you sure you're not confusing me
with someone else? He says, not wanting to believe the news that
someone just randomly come along and casually mention him being
part of another family. Considering what Kierran said, it was
full possible that even Revon Black didn't know the truth of
Kierran's heritage since Revon Black had just found him as a
child and took him in.

Keir: Diabhal go hifreann é. Keir curses in Irish after
listening to Keirran. Keirran's own response speaks volumes of
how much was actually withheld from Keirran, but Keir couldn't
blame Revon and the Black family. If the Council had learned of
Keirran's true heritage, then it could have been Keirran's death
long before now. Keirran sighs as he pulls out a smartphone,
turns it on, and unlocks it. Keir: I am absolutely not mistaken.
A death wraith doctor with as much experience as I have doesn't
forget a soul of such importance.. especially one they
delivered. He opens the text message app, opens a text message
chat with Callahan's name on it, and begins to type a text
message. Keir: The only way I can truly prove it is to get your
brother, Callahan, to grab a special item that identifies the
Rajnish family considering that getting your birth records will
take to long. I told your mother that it was a bad idea to
separate you from herself at such a young age. I warned that
this would happen because of the threat the Council posed, but
she insisted that you be raised by family and in this universe.
Keir's voice turns to one of being more annoyed that no one took
his advice on how to hide from assassins and evil councilmembers
as he hits send. Keir: Said it's your destiny to help restore
the Death Wraith society to the way it was before the Council.
Now I have an adult royal death wraith trapped in a seiji body
when he probably could've prevented it from happening with
proper training and having to prove his heritage. Keir sighs a
bit and recomposes himself. Keir: Sorry that I am ranting, lad.
I am just not one for hiding the truth in my over 200,000 years
of life and never will be. Keir's age should ring impossible
without some kind of technology, magic, or other supernatural
enhancements that extended Keir's natural death wraith lifespan.
Anna listens to Keirran and Keir and is in disbelief herself.
She had learned that royals and high nobles had been declared
treasonous and rumored to have been hunted to extinction by the
Council after the last known royal confronted the Council and
was slain in the council chamber.. a couple of months before
Keirran was "found" by Revon Black. She then gets a very shocked
look when Keir mentions his age as she never knew that he was
that old though she does know that he uses modified ancient
Atlantean stone master mystic technology.

Kierran: This is just very hard to take in... This is like one
of those stories where someone grows up a nobody and then
suddenly finds out they're from some important family. I never
thought I'd be the main character in a story like that. And now
I understand why they react the way they do... He says with a
shrug. He then sighs at the comment about his destiny being to
restore death wraith society. I have no intention of going back
to the death wraiths after we solve this Aeron Kazara incident.
This "destiny" about rebuilding the death wraiths... I want no
part in it. I should have left the death wraiths years ago. I
lost everything working for them, and somehow thought I was
making a difference. But I'm done with all of that. All I want
now is to live my life here. He then looks down, regret in his
eyes. If I'd have known what all would happen... I'd have left
when they exiled Anna. I should have followed Tarich's lead when
he left. Sometimes I think I should have let Drakath wipe them
all out... He understood my father's message better than any of
us did, even if his rebellion got out of hand.
