Zelpharia: In all honesty, Time Lord photography would be better
for surveillance in all honesty as it would make for
undetectable "bugging" devices. I only say that because I too
seeing it as a hard sale for prisoner containment. She says with
a thoughtful look. Zelpharia: Time Lord prisons could be adapted
to current Earth incarnation to reduce space needed for prisons
while maintaining humane treatment and reform education. Do you
think that would be easier to pitch to others?
Rosetta: Doesn't understand humor. Check. Rosetta says with a
bit of sarcasm to Hei. Rosetta: I was kidding with my question.
I knew that you're talking your Kendrix. I just figured I'd
cr@ck a joke and failed. Kendrix can train with Dufort and me.
Dufort is more skilled in control so has been helping me.
Depending on how much psychic energy Kendrix has, I can teach
Kendrix how to form psychic energy weapons like this... She then
raises her hand like she's holding a sword, making sure to be
clear of everyone. With very little effort, Rosetta creates her
Psy-sword from purifying psychic energy. It takes the shape of a
long sword.

Kindron thinks for a moment. Kindron: Yeah... I think we could
pitch that one more easily. Though I'd have to see how the tech
works to know for sure. He says in response to Zelpharia's
question.
Hei: Dufort... That's the other alternate kid of Zelpharia and
Kindron right? He asks, not having met Dufort, and not knowing
him personally.

Zelpharia: That shouldn't be a problem. The Celestian colony
planet, Zetia Alpha, has some set up similar to Earth prisons
that I can see about giving you a tour. She gives Kindron a
thoughtful smile. Zelpharia: I can also help with medical
scanning technology that is far more accurate with far less
radiation than X-rays and magnetic resolution imaging.
Rosetta: That's right though not as emotionally expressive.
Rosetta says to Hei as she desummons her Psy-sword. Rosetta: I'm
still getting to know Dufort, but I definitely like him. It's
also nice to have a sibling that's not a Time Lord even if he's
an alternate. It'll probably be a nice change training with
Kendrix too. Rosetta then thinks of something that crosses her.
Rosetta: I just realized that I'm an aunt and that Kendrix is
technically my nephew. Holy cr@p.. I have brothers who managed
to not only get women to marry them but have kids too. That
realization gets her to take a healthy swallowof her drink.
Laura finishes helping Jax and walks back over to Qrow. Laura:
Well hopefully this is the last surprise child for a little
while, mi amor, though I'm glad to see the family balanced
between boys and girls. She then laughs softly as she grabs
herself a glass out, grabs Qrow's bottle, and pours herself a
drink.

Kindron: Scanning technology is something I've been working on,
so the extra help would be great. I'm also working on enhanced
life support technologies as well, so there's that as well. I
was hoping the main technology to specialize in would be medical
technology and possibly communication tech. I definitely want to
stay out of the weapon business if possible, though I know that
will be difficult designing stuff for the police and the
government. He then turns to Rosetta.
Hei: Imagine how that Dufort kid feels... You'd technically be
his aunt and his sister at the same time. He says sarcastically,
realizing that Dufort being Qrow's grandson and Zeph's son meant
Rosetta was both his aunt and sister.
Qrow: I hope so too... Nothing makes me feel like I need to stop
drinking than finding out I have random kids I didn't know about
from one of the drunkest times of my life. He says in response
to Laura's comment about not wanting anymore surprise kids for a
while.

Zelpharia: My people and I can help you with developing medical
and communication technology and not violate the recent
Federation decision on technology trade agreement. Vulcans also
have some very interesting and helpful medical technology as
well and might be able to see if one of their medical engineers
may be allowed to assist you as well. Staying away from weapons
will not be too hard as the Federation limits what weapon
technology we are allowed to share with Earth to mostly
non-lethal and containment only. Such limits could help you when
it comes to assisting law enforcement as you wouldn't be
developing weapons per say. She thinks a bit as she speaks and
brightens up a bit. Zelpharia: If you wish, I could even take
you to the Celestian outpost in Antarctica and show you our
medical facility and main communications systems. That's if
you're interested in going.
Rosetta returns Hei's sarcastic comment with one of her own with
a look to match. Rosetta: I was trying to avoid the whole
"Southern hillbilly" family tree with one branch issue.. again,
Grumpy. Grumpy is Rosetta's nickname she developed after
learning about her Darkfire family and seen pictures of them.
It's how she sees Hei's more emotionally controlled nature that
she seen in and picked up on his picture. Not that he's actually
grumpy just not happy-go-lucky either. Rosetta: Colton and
Vladimir had fun with that one for a week after meeting Dufort
until Gwen jumped on their asses.. She takes a swallow of her
drink. Rosetta: ..and Gwen can be scary for a normal human when
she's mad because she gives no f*cks about supernatural
abilities. So don't make me sick her on you, or she'll have you
watching ballet and Disney movies for hours on end. The last
sentence is said in a jocular tone to Hei.
Laura gives Qrow a smile and leans towards him a bit while
placing his bottle back down. Laura: Well hopefully the only
surprise child that comes next is another we make ourselves but
without getting blind drunk. Laura then giggles softly and takes
a sip of her drink. Laura: Besides my intuition tell me that the
only future surprises any time soon will probably be more of
them alternates and probably for the boys.. maybe Kendrix. So
you should be safe to continue drinking though Yami may wish you
would stop.

Kindron: I could definitely go. It could give me more ideas on
stuff I can make. And maybe give ideas on a few things I want to
pull off in terms of medical technologies. He says in response
to Zeph.
Hei: I'll keep it in mind. I promise if I meet her I'll try not
to put a knife in her throat. He says simply in response to
Rosetta's comment about sicking Gwen on him. His usual response
to those who threaten him was to kill them, but he was careful
not to do that to allies.
Yami: I gave up years ago on trying to get him to stop drinking.
He says from Qrow's side.
Qrow shrugs. Qrow: Yeah... You never know what you're going to
get with these alternates.

Zelpharia: Oh, I'm sure that you'll definitely get ideas when we
go there. I'll just get a hold of Dr. Nyako Daolin and Lt.
Commander Sainvek Bruhme and talk to them about your visit. That
way they can be ready though it's not like the Antarctic base
medical wing gets busy. You'll actually be some excitement for
everyone as not many Earthlings visit Terra. She says to Kindron
with a smile. Zelpharia: Just don't be surprised if the children
look at you in curiosity because, other than Alucard, you'll be
the only other supernatural to visit Terra. Most other visitors
are humans like General Pilgrim, his people that are authorized,
and Captain Harkness which really doesn't fascinate the kids.
Rosetta raises an eyebrow and gives Hei an "are you serious"
look. Rosetta: Why would anyone hold a knife to a woman for
going all fearless mother hen who plays hours of Disney music as
nonharmful, annoying punishment? Are you joking? Please tell me
you're joking because you read like a blank slate on an empathic
level. Rosetta was told about how Darkfires are well mentally
trained with their Disciplined Mind so she knew that she
wouldn't hear unguarded thoughts but Hei's emotional control
unnerves her a bit. Rosetta: And if that wasn't a joke, then I
really need to help you develop a sense of humor instead of
being Assassin's Creed serious all the time.
Laura: That is true, but Gods forbid if an alternate of me show
up. You be in real trouble then because it'd be our luck she be
either evil and a member of the Order or an outright thief like
I use to be when pirates were more common in New Orleans and
cause me a big headache. Laura says with a teasing smile and a
laugh.

Kindron: Well... Times like this I'm glad for my more human
form. Before with my werepyre form, it mostly only scared
people. But I'll look forward to seeing the place.
Hei: That was sarcasm. I'm not going to stab an ally... They'd
have to really p*ss me off for me to do that. He says, sighing a
bit. He knew it was going to be a bit of a challenge with
Rosetta, since Hei was not an emotional person.
Kindron: Turns to Rosetta. Yeah, don't worry about Hei... He's
got the social skills of a rock. He says to Rosetta. Don't
worry... You'll pick up how he communicates as time goes on. Or
you'll just take everything he says seriously, which also works
because he doesn't understand the word 'humor.' He says jokingly
as he listens to Hei respond to Rosetta.
Qrow: Yeah... I'd rather not jinx it. We already have an enemy
alternate me here in this universe along with an enemy alternate
of my previous wife. Not to mention at least one enemy alternate
of Hei (Hei Hellsing-Darkfire), and at least one of Wolf-boy
(Kindron Blackfire). Last thing I need is an evil you added to
the mix. He says in response to Laura.

Zelpharia looks to Rosetta with a sympathetic smile. Zelpharia:
I did warn you, Rosie. Hei has just a bit more sense of humor
than a Vulcan. She says with a light laugh in her voice.
Rosetta sighs a bit and takes a swallow of drink. Rosetta:
Honestly.. I was hoping that you were kidding, Mom. Rosetta
studies Hei a bit. Rosetta: I'll get use to your sense of humor,
Hei. It's not like it's any worse than a Klingon. As a matter of
fact, it's almost like a Klingon sense of humor when I think
about it. She gets a bit of a smartass smile. Rosetta: Except
you only threatened a knife and didn't laugh.
Laura: You're right. I won't be bringing that one up again as we
have enough of those headaches these days, mi amor. Laura says
with a smile and then takes a sip of her drink. Laura: Besides..
you'll already be getting enough of an extra headache when my
sisters come to visit next month. Her sisters' visit is one
thing Laura has been trying to avoid as she's never had a close
relationship with them, but she figured that she might as well
tell Qrow now while he's getting a dose of surprises.

Hei: Times like this I miss the old days of being a lone
assassin. It was so much easier.
Kindron: Honestly... There was a time when I wasn't much better
a communicator than Hei, so I kind of understand, even though I
still tease him about it. But I suspect Hei hasn't had a lot of
friends in his life up till he got to London. It took me a long
time before I started learning to communicate with people as
easily as I do now.
Qrow looks over to Laura. Qrow: I didn't know you had any
sisters. Have you never mentioned them, or did you mention them
and I forgot? I didn't think my memory was that bad. He says to
Laura, the last part somewhat jokingly.
