Rosetta: Like I said, the academies don't have the best in terms
of education. I've gone to Celestian, Betazoid, Fenurian,
Nekaroan, and Pleiadian academies for psychic ability and spirit
arts training. Literally every single one has different beliefs
and education systems. For example, Fenurians are atheist
scientific in their beliefs and education. They believe that
gods are no more powerful than ordinary people and that the
concept of an Afterlife is an oppressive measure in restricting
the natural evolution into a higher sentience as a being of pure
energy. They believe that spirits are just those physical beings
who've achieved the light body. Fenurians also produce psychics
so powerful that they're said to be "God killers". Nekoroans
believe that the Spirit Realm and Afterlife are the same thing
that is surrounded by the Astral Plane. They also don't believe
in Hell but believe in a place called the Happy Hunting Grounds
and that bad people are denied eternal peace through
reincarnation. They're also a psychic feline humanoid race so
you can imagine what their heaven might be like. They also have
a really nasty demonic spirit called pu'nano that possess any
non-psychic no matter how disciplined and strong the mind is.
She says to Kindron about what she's learned of other alien
cultures and their beliefs. Rosetta: And that's not even 25% of
the races in the Federation. As for knowledge, I'll take
whatever you, Hei, and Pops have for me. Mom keeps telling me
that I need more training in both Earth culture and entities
like my brothers plus more combat training dealing with my
vampiric physical speed and agility among other Darkfire
abilities. If there's one thing that I got from Mom, then that's
my ability and willingness to learn more. Besides I can teach
you a few things about some of the alien cultures that I've
learned about.
Zelpharia looks to Qrow with a raised eyebrow and a smirk.
Zelpharia: And here I thought it was only my kids that didn't
listen to advice like that.
Rosetta: It's hereditary stubbornness, and I got a double
whammy. Rosetta says sarcastically to Qrow. Rosetta: I'll train
with Kindron when it comes to purification and dark spirit
fighting, but I've read the Black Reaper files and want training
like that too. Plus I'm not letting you out of father and
daughter time that easily, Pops.

Kindron: Well, Zeph tells me enough about other races, but I can
always learn more. He has a thought. You know... I was gonna ask
Zeph this too, but I'll ask you now that I'm thinking about it.
He says as he turns to both Rosetta and Zeph. I'm trying to
start a company with some help from Integra. It's gonna be a
tech company, and I've already got two products in mind, one of
which is already been commissioned by the police, and apparently
the other one has potential to become a basis for its own sub
company later. I was thinking if you two want, you could join
it. He says to them. If Zeph and Rosetta had enough of knowledge
of the future, they would likely know that Kindron would
eventually start a tech company called Darkfire Technologies
that would go on to become a global company eventually, and
become a major tech supplier world-wide in the future. Or at
least, in some possible futures since some futures for Kindron
don't end so well since there are a few where he dies fighting
Kindron Blackfire. Of course, Kindron wouldn't know whether or
not Zelpharia and Rosetta had or didn't have knowledge of what
Kindron would do in terms of a tech company.
Qrow: I never said I wasn't going to train you. It's really all
I can do at this point. He says to Rosetta.

Zelpharia does have a fair amount of future knowledge of
Kindron's future. Zelpharia: Oh I most certainly be happy to
help you with your company, Kindron. I can teach you more about
Celestian organic technology and terraforming technology. I also
know a couple other alien scientists who would be more than
happy to help. Both are rogue scientists and been looking for a
new place to settle down for awhile. Zelpharia says to Kindron
with a bright smile. She has no problem with helping Kindron as
she knows that it won't affect the timeline. She just had to
wait for Kindron to approach her first so she didn't affect her
own timeline.
Rosetta gives Qrow a smartass smile and sarcastic tone of voice.
Rosetta: You could always meet my boyfriend and play the scary
dad part. Well if I had one for you to intimidate.
She then looks to Kindron with a more thoughtful look. Rosetta:
I can try to help, but I'm not sure how. I might know a lot
about different alien technology, but I've never been really
good at building much other than weapons. Not sure if you're
into that kind of technology.
Laura smiles with satisfaction that Qrow and family proved her
right about being accepting of Rosetta as she watches. She then
notices Jax trying to get her attention at the far end of the
bar and hurries down to help him before he says something that
might spoil the family get together.

Kindron: Well... I'm mostly planning medical technologies and
some containment technologies for police to more easily contain
criminal supernaturals. I actually finished a new type of power
dampener gun that fires power dampening collars, so that might
be something you can help me fine tune. I'm not much into
weapons, but I am working on some defensive stuff. He says to
Rosetta when she mentions weapons.
Qrow sighs. Qrow: Great... Now I got two daughters to worry
about. He says sarcastically when Rosetta mentions him playing
the dad part and scaring potential boyfriends.

Rosetta gets a thoughtful look listening to Kindron. Rosetta: I
can definitely try to help you with refining and developing
containment technology. Not like containment technology is
different than weapons, just less lethal. Have you considered
Time Lord camera technology for containment device ideas?
Upon hearing Qrow's comment about having two daughters to worry
about, Jax manages to say something to Qrow in his slightly
inebriated state. Jax: Better really play up the scary dad act
then because two daughters mean paying for two weddings. The
longer they stay single the longer the money stays in your bank
account. Jax then laughs as Laura throws some cut lemons at his
head for that smartass comment.
Laura: Be quiet like we agreed, or I'll call your wife to come
and get you, Jax. Laura's threat makes Jax go back to his drink
but not stop chuckling.
Rosetta just mumbles under her breath. Rosetta: Not like there
will ever be a man brave enough to even date a psychic like me
let alone purpose so spinster is pretty much my future... She
then finishes off her drink and pours another. Then looks to
Qrow. Rosetta: If it means anything, I usually scare off guys
after they find out that I'm psychic and can hear all unguarded
thoughts without trying. So you really only have one daughter to
worry about, Pops. I'm a father's dream daughter because my
powers are enough to keep boys away from me in terms of romantic
relationships.

Kindron: I haven't. But yeah, the containment guns are basically
just defensive weapons. Camera tech could help. I mean... Not
with the gun itself, but since this is gonna be used by police,
it would help to have them be able to record situations they use
these guns so that they can use the recordings in court cases.
He says, thinking.
Qrow turns to Jax. Qrow: I don't care about money. I only care
because I have two daughters and most men are jerks no matter
the time period. He then turns over to Rosetta. Maybe you're
better off single. Guys are jerks. But who knows. Maybe you'll
meet another psychic as powerful as you someday who will treat
you right. Well... One that isn't related to you.

Zelpharia looks to Kindron as she listens to him explain how
useful cameras would be. Zelpharia: Actually I should explain
exactly how Time Lord cameras work to better explain why Rosetta
says they would help in containment. Time Lord cameras catch a
literal second in time. Anything that won't move within that
second will continue as normal. Anything that can move within
that second are trapped within a temporal pocket that is the
picture of that second. Living beings are preserved in a form of
stasis and can be extracted with special equipment from that
picture. Such photography is quite popular on Gallifrey and
Celestia as artwork. It's also useful for hiding recording
normal cameras into locations that one wants to gather intel on.
Rosetta: Oh I know that guys are jerks. I grew up with Vladimir
plus I'm psychic and read minds. The nice guys usually get
scared once they find out about my powers. Rosetta takes a
decent swallow of her drink. Rosetta: Enough about my romantic
life and back to jerks. I'd like to get good enough to beat
Vladimir. I'd say both my brothers, but Frank has distortion
powers so I've given up on beating him.

Kindron: Wait... So it captures people in pictures? He says
after Zelpharia explains time lord camera tech.
Hei: Kendrix is also still learning how to use his psychic
powers. He's been trying to build them up as of late to counter
dark spirits as a means to counter that evil version of himself.
He could use someone to train with as well.

Zelpharia: Yes, they capture people, vehicles, robots, animals,
and even spirits. Basically anything that's not a permanent
structure or landscape such as buildings or trees gets stuck in
the picture. Of course, they're still aware and can even move
with a fair amount of effort. That's why recording equipment
when facing out the photograph continues to record everything
outside of it. It's one of the more artistic containment
techniques of Time Lords. Time Lord prisons on the other hand
can comfortably hold the entire prison population of the United
Kingdom and United States in one small, inescapable container
about the size of a large church bell. Even supernatural beings
with teleportation cannot escape using that ability. Zelpharia
says to Kindron with an excited smile. She enjoys talking
technology with others especially since she is a telemechanic.
Rosetta raises an eyebrow and smirks at the chance to smartass
about the two Kendrixs. Rosetta: Now would that be your
alternate timeline Kendrix or the one with the
temporal-dimensional distortion energy powers? Because
Distortion Kendrix trains with Frank occasionally and never
mentioned having psychic powers outside of normal Time Lord
psychic talents. She has a good idea which Kendrix Hei is
talking about but has to have a bit of fun. Of course the smirk
is a dead give away that she's smartassing Hei.

Kindron: Huh... He thinks for a moment. Why does that sound
familiar? He says to himself, feeling like he had heard of that
before somewhere. He then shrugs. Eh. Not important... Anyway,
we can look into adding that tech to the list. Though I don't
know if some of these countries will like that tech. There's
some moral issues that might come up about trapping people in
photos.
Hei: My son, Kendrix, not that alternate one. My Kendrix has
been working on his psychic lightning lately, and trying to
build his psychic power. Apparently the Celestian part of his
power was something that the evil dark spirit Kendrix couldn't
copy from Kendrix's power. Of course, my Kendrix does also have
the distortion powers too, but he's been working more on just
psychic counters to spirits. He says, not really getting that
Rosetta was joking a bit since Hei wasn't good at the whole
humor thing.
