In space.
Dr. Tolodora sighs a bit and looks away at the mention of
Tomasic. Dr. Tolodora: No... Not anymore. I gave up my temporal
duplicate of Tomasic after an incident in my universe. After
Captain Zarick appeared and helped my universe against the Borg,
he helped me find someone to wield Tomasic. These days, the
Kierran Black in my universe, a death wraith, became his wielder
after I couldn't wield him anymore. Something about killing my
first husband made me unable to wield Tomsic at that point, and
it was all I could do to keep his power from killing me when I
would try to pick him up. She looks back to Zeph, though it was
clear she wasn't telling the whole story. Your Tomasic shouldn't
have to worry about alternates of him from me. She then sighs.
Unfortunately, before you ask, I don't have Tara either anymore.
I lost her to the Borg in my universe. She says, once again
clearly leaving out information. It was obvious Dr. Tolodora had
been through some difficult times she had difficulty bringing
up.
On the ground
Zarick: Well, I'm sure we can figure things out once I talk to
them. One thing you might find about us, is that we tend to
enjoy learning about different technologies that exist in
different universes. As for the wraith... As long as you trust
him, I'll try and give him the benefit of the doubt. So far, I
haven't met a version of Michael that hasn't had his own agenda.
We've worked with a wraith we call Todd in the past who always
screwed us over at some point, so we can't criticize you though.
He says with a shrug. Honestly, the Wraith aren't really my
specialty... I usually specialize in fighting enemies of the
Federation, or enemies connected to the Forerunners. Enemies
connected to the Ancients like the Wraith are usually the
specialty of the captain of the Crimson Mercury, Dr. Darkfire.
he was actually the one who designed a lot of the modified stun
weapons we use based on Wraith stunners mixed with phaser
technology, and the one who developed the galaxy-wide ARW, the
Anti-Replicator Wave. Though I do have some weapons I can use
against Wraith and Replicators. He explains to Pilgrim.
Data turns to Hawkeye. Data: Actually, sir, I do not possess any
emotions. I am not capable of emulating any human emotions at
all. I also do not know this Naomi android, so I can not compare
myself to her as of yet. He explains to Hawkeye, clearly
assuming by "less emotions" Hawkeye meant he experienced some
emotions (even if it was an incorrect assumption).
Shinya: Data is a bit unique... He is similar to some robotic
beings we encounter in some universes though.

In space:
Both Zelpharia and Trovon can tell that Dr. Tolodora is
uncomfortable with what has happened in the past and decide not
to push it for now. For Zelpharia though, she wonders why Dr.
Tolodora killed her first husband but isn't going to push it
especially if it involves the Borg. Zeph knows that the Borg
aren't any better than Cyber Men and has had her own share of
lost loved ones because of both Borg and Cyber Men so can at
least sympathize. Though she couldn't imagine killing Jack.
Zelpharia: The Borg must have been bad in your universe. I can
only imagine what you've been through thanks to my own
experiences with the Borg. I have lost some very good friends to
the Borg in this universe. She says to Dr. Tolodora with a
sympathetic look and tone. Zelpharia: Fortunately the Borg are
less of a threat with our anti-Borg technology. Plus they're in
a huge territory battle with both the Dalek and the Zerg a few
million light years away from here, and all three races can stay
where they are.
Trovon: Yes, at least for now all three of those dangerous races
are concentrating on each other. We have enough headaches
between the Order of the Dragon and the increased appearances of
dark spirits and Cyber Men throughout Federation territory. Two
of those headaches though are harder to trace than the Order
especially dark spirits which infest whole villages and towns on
planets before the Federation is made aware of the problem.
Trovon says with a serious look as he thinks about the multiple
problems that the Federation has been dealing with in this
universe.
Zelpharia: Then add on the fact that dimensional and temporal
rifts have been opening all over the universe thanks to this
Chaos being trying to escape some kind of godly pocket dimension
prison. We have temporal and dimensional monsters popping up
many of the times a new rift opens. Zelpharia says behind Trovon
as she too thinks about the problems they've been having in this
universe. Zelpharia: Basically Chaos releases a massive amount
of distortion energy in his escape attempts which rips the
fabric of the multiverse and causes teleportations from across
the multiverse to end up here in this universe. I just recently
found an alternate of an Earth general on Dega Nine about three
weeks ago from a recent dimensional rift there.
On the ground:
Pilgrim: I trust Wraiths about as far as I can toss an F-15
fighter which ain't far, but I am tolerating the Wraith Michael
that came with Captain Mason and his crew.. for now. You're
technology could prove useful in case the Wraith of this
universe prove to like all others that you've come across.
Pilgrim says to Zarick with a thoughtful look. Pilgrim: As for
talking to our Federation, we'll need to talk with Colonel
Tolodora and Ambassador Khadh who are on a Klingon ship next to
yours. The Colonel knows exactly which space port the USS
Defiance is docked at and can have your ship lead there with
Federation escort. You can follow me to the communication
center. He then looks to Jega, Data, and Shinya as he continues
talking to Zarick. Pilgrim: And if there is anything that you're
men wish to see here on base, then they're more than welcome to
be shown around. Pilgrim grins a bit as he focuses on Data which
his psychic powers tell him Data is an android. Pilgrim: Your
man may find a conversation with Miss Straver and Naomi down in
the defense shield operations room fascinating just as much as
Miss Straver may be fascinated in him.
Hawkeye sighs a bit and shakes his head to Data's comment.
Hawkeye: It's called rhetorical sarcasm. I know that you don't
have emotions and that you can't compare yourself to Naomi. I
can compare you to Naomi and safely say that she will fascinate
and possibly baffle you. Hawkeye looks to Shinya with a bit of a
smile. Hawkeye: Compared to a standard domestic model androids
that we have on this Earth, Data is almost unique as Naomi. He
even sounds more like a normal Vulcan or serious human than our
basic droids. Only companion models have any semblance of
emotion but like all droids they have limited freewill. Naomi is
the only one I know with real emotions and complete freewill
among uniqueness. He then goes quiet as Pilgrim offers Zarick's
men the option to be shown around the base.

In Space.
Dr. Tolodora: I wish I could offer you more help with the
Cybermen, but we don't have a lot of tech to fight them that you
don't already have. Though for the Borg, we do have some
specific anti-Borg tech, so we can see what you have, and what
we can offer that might help against them. Only thing we'd have
to be careful of is that the Borg tend to adapt. We learned that
the hard way in one universe where an enhanced Borg Queen nearly
took control of the whole IRA (Intergalactic Researcher's
Alliance) through taking our ship. Then there was the universe
we almost got destroyed by an alternate Locutus. She thinks as
Zeph mentions the distortion. That explains a lot... We got
pulled here by dimensional distortion, and I was trying to
figure out why there was so much distortion. I can sense the
distortion here, but it was unlike any I'd felt before.
On the ground.
At the mention of Klingons, Zarick seems to get a soft smile,
seeming happy to hear that they'd meet Klingons. Zarick: Well...
I'm always happy to meet other Klingons. He sighs as a
realization hits him. I just hope they're not as unforgiving as
some universes. Some universes Klingons hate the fact I'm a
Celestian that wears Klingon battle armor. It's always an
awkward first meeting. He motions to his outfit, in which he
wore a Klingon Battle Armor under his white jacket that was a
typical Klingon Captain's outfit.
Shinya: Well... We're certainly fine with being shown around. We
wouldn't mind meeting new people. He says in response to
Pilgrim's last comment.
Data: Fascinating... So you design some with emotions and some
without? For what purpose do you design some with emotions and
some without? He says in response to Hawkeye, curious about the
other androids.

Zelpharia: Actually it doesn't take much to actually fight Cyber
Men as long as you don't get near them.. which isn't hard
either. Cyber Men can easily be taken out with an EMP technology
and strong enough electrical attacks or just armor piercing
bullets to their main power supply circuits. They're also quite
slow in movement though incredibly strong for machines with only
a brain for the main CPU. In their original home universe, Cyber
Men were created by an insane human who believed that robots are
superior to flesh in the 1950s. Once he successfully "cyberized"
himself, he went on to cyberize his whole planet and eventually
his universe. They've now managed to spread to two other
universes and know that at least one of those universes did not
contain supernaturals or Time Lords. Our main objective is to
keep them from invading and getting a foothold here with
complete annihilation of the Cyber Men infected universes having
been discussed by the Federation. That is mostly because there
is no way to reverse the cyberization process on the brain once
the process begins as the brain is the first to be fried and
reprogrammed. Zelpharia says matter of fact tone of voice about
Cyber Men.
Trovon: At least we have technology to reverse the assimilation
process of the Borg since they do not completely destroy the
flesh or have the Cyber Men technology to completely rewrite the
brain. We will be interested in learning more about your
anti-Borg technology though as we have not experienced a Borg
Queen as of yet. Such experience as what you and the rest of
your crew have would be of great help to the Federation in order
to prevent or combat the events should they appear here. Trovon
says thoughtfully. He then thinks about the Zerg. Trovon: We'll
also be willing to share our knowledge on the Zerg along with
cure for Zerg genetic infection. The Zerg Swarm is a terrifying
and ruthless amalgamation of biologically advanced, arthropodal
aliens. Dedicated to the pursuit of genetic perfection, the Zerg
relentlessly hunt down and assimilate advanced species across
the galaxy, incorporating useful genetic code into their own.
The Zerg also use specialized organic technology similar to
Wraith. Zerg spaceships are specialized living creatures bred
for carrying their terrestrial counterparts to new planets or
other celestial bodies such as asteroids. Trovon's voice though
obviously against the Zerg has a hint of scientific respect for
the aggressive alien species. Trovon: This has made them a great
threat in our universe that has seen the Federation joining
forces with both the Wraith and Dalek of this universe in order
to fight an invasion swarm.
On the ground:
Pilgrim: Some Klingons may get offended by you wearing Klingon
body armor, but not from many under Ambassador Khadh. He and his
people have even taken to training my people in Klingon
technology and weapons so you'll see other humans wearing the
same body armor around here. You'll also find that Klingons and
Celestians have a strong alliance in this universe apparently
because of the actions of Colonel Tolodora, but that's her story
to tell. Pilgrim then looks to Sergeant Thames and the other
soldiers. Pilgrim: You men are dismissed. Our guests are
obviously no threat so no need for extra security. He looks to
Hawkeye as Sergeant Thames and his men begin to disperse through
the building. Pilgrim: Clint, why not show Dr. Shinya and the
others around while Captain Azien and I go talk to Zeph about
porting arrangements.
Hawkeye: Gotcha, boss. Hawkeye nods a bit as he speaks.
Pilgrim: Now if you'll follow me, Zarick, and we'll go talk to
my people in space. Pilgrim says to Zarick as Pilgrim looks back
to him and then begins walking towards a hallway to the right.
Hawkeye looks to Shinya, Data, and Jega with a slight smile.
Hawkeye: We'll start in the defense shield command center where
there's a bit more regular people than soldiers. Besides, I've
had enough training for one day and don't need to watch soldiers
running around the base training. The elevator is this way.
Hawkeye says to Shinya and Data. Something in Hawkeye's gut
tells him that Jega may stay with Zarick so Hawkeye didn't
address Jega so much as he addressing Shinya and Data.

Dr. Tolodora listens as Zeph and Trovon explain things. Dr.
Tolodora: I actually haven't had to fight Cybermen and Daleks
for a very long time... These days I mostly help Captain Zarick
against other threats in the multiverse. Although, We also have
technology for disconnecting people from the Borg. Thanks to my
experience with the Borg in my universe, I've developed a few
technologies designed to help restore people like that. I used a
similar technology on a few people outside of the Borg too...
We've actually developed technologies designed to disconnect
people from any form of forced cybernetic control. She then
thinks about their comments about the Zerg. As for the Zerg...
We definitely could use the information you have. We haven't
encountered them, and we definitely would want to be prepared
for it if needed. We can certainly try to help you with your
problem. It certainly wouldn't be the first time we've had to
deal with an oppressive species considering all the races
Captain Zarick has fought over the years. She then thinks for a
moment. If possible, would it be possible to get a hold of this
"organic technology" they possess? We could definitely study it
and see if we can incorporate it into our Borg Tech. We would
love to study it. Though we wouldn't want to put anyone at risk
to get it and try to contain it, of course.
On the ground.
Zarick: I see. Well, I can certainly explain things to them if
needed, and prove myself if I must. He says in response to
Pilgrim's comment. Once Pilgrim talks to Hawkeye about showing
them around, Zarick looks to Shinya. Go ahead. I'll call if I
need you for anything. He says before following Pilgrim.
Shinya: Very well sir. He says to Zarick as Zarick follows
Pilgrim.
Jega: I would prefer to stay with the Captain. He says to Shinya
and Zarick.
Shinya: Let the General and the Captain have their talk, Jega.
We're not going to come under attack here. And if we do get
attacked here, you won't be far from the Captain. He says,
motioning for Jega to come with them.
Shinya, Data and Jega all follow Hawkeye, though Jega didn't too
fond of leaving Zarick alone.

In space:
Zelpharia sighs softly but keeps her face friendly and relaxed.
Years of being with and around people like Jack Harkness and Sir
Canaan of MI-6 had taught her how to hide her emotions in all
ways when lying. It was hearing how Dr. Tolodora and her people
have technology to disconnect most from forced cybernetics that
brought the soft sigh out. She hopes that Dr. Tolodora doesn't
suggest trying to disconnect Cyber Men as Zeph and some other
Time Lord scientist have already tried with emotionally and
mentally scarring results for all involved. She doesn't like
talking about her people's attempts to restore the minds of
those who had been cyberized after all the begging for death and
attempted suicides when they remembered the cyberization process
and conflicting thoughts between original thought and Cyber Man
programming. The Federation also agreed on keeping the
experiments' successes top secret and maintain a destroy only
policy. Standard Federation response to disconnect experiments
on Cyber Men is that the experiments were failures due to
cyberization process damaging the brain in certain manners.
Zelpharia: We will welcome learning about any disconnect
technology and see how it could improve what we already have so
the Federation can help those victims of other forced
cybernetics outside of the Borg. I just won't hold hope for
Cyber Men but it may be helpful for victims of Dalek
infiltration cybernetic conversions.
Trovon hears Zeph's soft sigh and takes it as a sign of her
distaste and hate for Cyber Men which, for him, Zelpharia's
sentence seems to back up. He instead talks about the Zerg which
his people have had experiences against. Trovon: As for the
Zerg. We have small genetic samples of each type of specialized
Zerg including the Leviathans which are Zergs that serve as
living starships. We also have several whole larva samples so we
can give you one of for research. The larva are before
specialized genetics are either imbued or activated. We're still
not exactly sure how Zerg reproduction goes. If you wish to have
a sample of a Zerg-Human hybrid though, then we'll have to
contact the Terrans. He says as he thinks of who has what
samples that could be provided to Dr. Tolodora and the Clara
Rose. Trovon: They're the only ones with a live captive Zerg
hybrid and only give out genetic samples upon special approval.
It's those samples that allowed Federation scientist to develop
a retrovirus cure for Zerg genetic viral infection. Infection
can only be caused by fluid transfer which is a plus according
to the Terran though Zerg have been attempting to make an
airborne version for nearly three decades.
On the ground:
Pilgrim: Being Celestian instead of human will give you an
advantage in terms of respect from Klingons in this universe,
Zarick. Our Zelpharia is the one to thank for that according to
what I've been told. She apparently went through one of the
Klingons' death battles of respect as part of a treaty process
and won.. Pilgrim says in a more relaxed, friendly tone now that
the soldiers had disperse as he leads Zarick to the
communication center of the command hall. He then takes a right
down the hallway. Pilgrim: ..though it costed her opponent a
blow to his honor. Ambassador Khadh has proudly told me the
whole story at least twice. Vulcans find multiversal explorers
fascinating so might question the crap out of you. You'll also
probably won't have difficulties with the Celestian people
either, but Romulans might be as snobbish to you as they are to
everyone else not Romulan. Watch your wallet and valuables
around the Ferengi or their silver tongues will swindle blind.
Pilgrim then gets a big grin. Pilgrim: And watch the family
jewels around Nekurians. The highly telepathic feline humanoids
just love having adult "fun" with furless, tailless species like
us. They say that they find our exotic looks attractive. Pilgrim
figured that giving Zarick a heads up about some of the more
common species found at the two Celestian space ports would be
helpful for him. Pilgrim: And before I forget, the Silurians may
give you respect issues but they've been xenophobic since chased
beneath Earth's surface sometime during the end of the last
great dinosaur age.
Hawkeye: I understand how you feel, Jega, but look at it this
way. You're on a military base with at least 53,000 well trained
soldiers on base. Then there's a command helicarrier with
another 3,200 well trained soldiers hovering and cloaked just
above the base. Hawkeye says as they walk to the elevator that
goes through the subterranean levels of the base. Hawkeye: So
not only are you close to your Captain, but well covered so you
can get to him without problems. Once at the elevator door,
Hawkeye pulls out his UNIT ID card and holds it to the scanner.
This opens a retinal scanner to which Hawkeye leans in and scans
his eye. That opens the door. Hawkeye: Besides, you might scare
some of the civilians in the communications command center. Some
of the more sheltered brainics that were recruited to work in
communications and IT for UNIT get startled by their own damn
shadows sometimes if that tells you anything. Hawkeye says as he
steps through the open elevator door and pushes the button for
sublevel floor two as he turns to face and wait for the others.

Zelpharia: Unfortunately, we haven't encountered the Cybermen
long enough to learn enough about them to reverse their changes.
We had some good relations with them in one universe where they
were created to fight the replicators and the Borg as well as
protect humanity, but in most universes they usually are
dangerous enemies that we still don't fully understand. She then
looks to Trovon when he explains the Zerg organic technology.
Well... If you want, I can call up our chief medical officer
after you call the Terrans. He might be able to help when it
comes to the Zerg samples. There aren't many people better with
biological knowledge and he's our biggest expert on Organic
Alien Biology, whereas I'm more of the expert on Artificial
Alien Physiology. And I think my son could be useful in research
as well. She says, referencing Celestian training from her
universe. As it probably sounded, Organic Alien Biology was
about the differences in alien biology and how they operated as
well as evolution of races, while Artificial Alien Physiology
was more about learning the technology of artificial races like
the Borg, Replicators, Cybermen and Daleks.
On the Ground.
Zarick: We do tend to get along with the Vulcans and the
Klingons most of the time. I have special ways of getting on the
Klingon's good side usually, though it usually involves taking
on teams of Klingons in challenge battles. He says jokingly
while shrugging as he follows Pilgrim. Romulans... Well, it
depends on the universe. In some we do, but in others we have
had bad experiences with them. As for the Ferengi... There's not
many universes I've seen where they're not little snakes who you
need to watch closely whenever you deal with them. And I will
warn Shinya about the Nekurians. Shinya enjoys the company of
women, so last thing I'd want is for him to get into trouble
with them. He then thinks when it comes to the Silurians.
Well... I don't know much about the Silurians myself, but my
chief engineer and chief medical officer had good relations with
them in their universe, but we'd be talking about a version of
the Silurians that befriended humanity and joined as one of the
founding members of the Federation before the Borg invaded.
Data looks over at Hawkeye as he talks and then turns his head
to Jega. Data: He is correct, Jega. Not only is it highly
unlikely that the Captain would require your protection in a
place as populated as this with military personnel, but it would
be highly unlikely that we would be attacked in a place like
this due to high level of security this base seems to possess.
Jega just stays silent. Data, Jega and Shinya follow Hawkeye
onto the elevator.
Shinya: I don't think we got your name. He says to Hawkeye as he
gets on the elevator.

In space:
Zelpharia: Good Cyber Men?? That one is hard to believe.
Zelpharia says with obvious distaste for Cyber Men. She lost
friends 15 years ago when two Cyber Men armies from Cyber
Universe Alpha and Beta attacked Earth via portals in the Canary
Wharf district of London and seen a planet wiped out because it
had been viciously conquered. Such encounters with Cyber Men has
left Zelpharia bitter towards any thought of "good" Cyber Men.
Zelpharia: They were never created in this universe, and
unfortunately, we've only encountered Cyber Men from one of
three what we call cyber universes. Those encounters have never
been good. She then takes a calming breath and regains some of
her composure as she switches to the Zerg. Zelpharia: As for the
Zerg samples, we can contact the Terrans once we land your ship
after clearance is given. They have wormhole technology that
they've adapted from Protoss technology so can bring samples
fairly quick to Earth.
Trovon: Just they'll ask that we only meet in space or at
Krakenport space port in the North Sea between Scotland and
Norway. Trovon chimes in about the Terrans and when it comes to
contacting them. Trovon: Terrans are of Earth human descent just
separated by thousands of years after a several groups of humans
were taken to the world they now call Terra Nova One. They know
that they are more advance than Earth humans and wish not to
interfere with human development like their development was when
their ancestors were relocated. I believe that is a reason that
we all can understand.
On the ground:
Pilgrim: We've only just begun making peace with the Silurians
in this universe. Many still see humans as food and "lesser"
beings but slowly coming around to the idea of making peace.
Those who work with UNIT and the Federation are more open-minded
about cohabitation of the planet with other races... and not all
of those "open-minded" should be fully trusted. Pilgrim says as
he leads Zarick down the hall to a security door with ID pad.
Pilgrim: As for your man, Shinya, the worse trouble he would get
into with a Nekurian female is possibly waking up "married" the
next morning. Though I can see where that could be trouble for
you and your crew as well. Pilgrim says with a bit a chuckle.
Pilgrim: Their society is matriarchal versus patriarchal so the
females make most of the major decisions including marriage
which is more like mating for life. Once a female Nekurian
decides that a compatible male is going to be her mate then it's
nearly impossible to convince her otherwise. The males of their
species aren't exactly submissive though and make up most of
their military might with a few females as they make better
warriors than the more empathic females. An absolutely
fascinating species when you learn about them.
Hawkeye: Excuse me for the rudeness. My name is Clint Barton,
but most everyone calls me Hawkeye. No military rank either in
case Data is curious. I was recruited to S.H.I.E.L.D. after
General Pilgrim noticed my unique talents for marksmanship,
speed, and agility for a human in my younger more questionable
days. So I was never given a rank other than agent like most of
Pilgrim's other recruits. Hawkeye says with a calm look and a
slight smile as the elevator doors close and it begins to
quickly descend to Sublevel 2. Hawkeye doesn't think it's
necessary to give more information than that. Data's own sensors
would pick up on the elevator scanning his presence specifically
as the base's AI system scans Data for possible system threats
and to adjust Sublevel 2 protections so they don't affect Data.

In space.
Dr. Tolodora: Actually... You'd be surprised what's possible in
the multiverse. We even encountered a universe with a good
version of the Borg once. That's why we got Borg tech, because
we traded some tech with them since they learned by trading
technology with other races. It was a universe where they
realized that free will was stronger than forcing them to
choose, and they only accepted races into the collective if they
made the willing choice to join the Borg. Their technology was
also a lot less... invasive... than other universe Borg tech.
She then shrugs. And also the humans in that universe were evil
conquerors conquering planets and spreading like a virus across
the universe as well as enslaving other races. We had to help
the Borg keep humanity from destroying them and the other worlds
allied with the Borg. Basically, the humans were referred to
among other races as "The Humanity Plague", because they
basically consumed all a planet's resources upon arriving to new
worlds and enslaved any race there, then moved on when all the
resources were gone. She then turns to Trovon. Yeah... I
understand not wanting to interfere with human development. I
doubt the captain will have any problems complying with their
request since he doesn't like interfering with the development
of other cultures if he can help it. We've seen plenty of human
and even Celestian races in some universes less developed than
us, so we have had to be careful before trying to interact with
other races.
On the ground.
Zarick: I see. I'll keep it in mind about the Silurians here. I
guess they're not quite as peaceful a race here as they are in
Dr. Tolodora's universe. Humans and Silurians got along pretty
well... Then again, with all the enemies that the humans and
Silurians united against over the years in that universe, it
made sense. Conflict and shared interests have a way of uniting
species. He says with a shrug as he follows Pilgrim. These
Nekurians do sound like a fascinating race... He says as he
thinks about the Nekurians and what Pilgrim had told him about
them. I just hope Shinya doesn't mistake them for Cateans. We
encountered them in some universes. They're basically cat
people, and Shinya did take pretty well to them, even almost
marrying a couple of them once, a starship captain and the
ship's doctor. The Cateans are a polygamous society where the
males have up to 20 wives or more because the number of women
outweight the number of men almost 100 to 1, at least in most
universes. I just hope he doesn't mistake the Nekurians for an
alternate Catean race, or that will be awkward. It doesn't sound
like he'll make that mistake easily, since it sounds like these
Nekurians are more catlike than human-like, while the Cateans
are more like cat-like humans.
Data just silently tilts his head in curiosity as he's scanned.
He figured it was probably harmless, but was curious
nonetheless.
Shinya: I see... Well, if it makes you feel better, we don't
usually have a lot of ranks in the Intergalactic Researcher's
Alliance either. Aside from the command staff for the bridge,
almost everyone in our groups are usually doctors of some field,
and most of them have titles of Dr. instead of military ranking
since we don't consider ourselves a military. Most of our crew
have doctorates in something. Could be Alien Biology,
technology, medical fields, or any number of fields. A kid of a
friend of mine even has a doctorate in Mathematics, and is
working on his second doctorate in both Organic and Synthetic
Chemistry. Most of the people in our group just go by title of
Doctor since we tend to see everyone as being the same rank,
save the command crew that operates the ships, which is why
Zarick goes by Captain, instead of Dr. Zarick. Jega and Data are
the only ones on our ship I think that aren't doctors of
something, though Data is smart enough to be a doctor of just
about any subject. Probably all at once considering his
processing power and all the information he can store.
Data: Actually... I have found the psychology field quite
fascinating. I have been considering a doctorate in psychology
for some time as a means to help me understand human and
supernatural emotions. In many universes, there are few
psychological studies of supernaturals. I actually picked up
some books from a few universes where Meta-Human Psychology was
a field invented by their universe's Kindron Darkfire. His
books, combined with some human psychology, have piqued a
certain curiosity, and I have long since been interested in many
of the theories and studies that went into his books.

In space:
Trovon: I didn't think it would be a problem for you and your
crewmates especially since we all share similar policies. He
says with a grin. He then thinks of something else as they wait
to hear from Pilgrim. Trovon: Could you perhaps enlighten us on
exactly what your organization is and what their purpose?
Zelpharia listens to Dr. Tolodora as she explains what she and
the Clara Rose have experienced with interest. Despite her
personal feelings towards Cyber Men, she understands how
universes can vary in unexpected ways and finds hearing about
alternate universes to be fascinating. She then takes note of
how Trovon is trying to fill his curiosities while waiting to
hear from the ground and smiles a bit.
On the ground:
Pilgrim: Nekurians are definitely more catlike than human from
furry bodies and paws for feet to tails and ears. So if your
Cateans are more cat-like humans, then your man will definitely
be able to tell them apart. I mostly warn you because
Krakenport's dock master is a female Nekurian and tough as nails
if pushed but loves human men especially psychic ones. If you
end up there that is. Pilgrim says with a wide grin as he's had
his own experiences with Lt. Isis Montero at Krakenport as they
approach the security door. Pilgrim pulls out an ID badge from
his jacket pocket and holds it up to the ID badge. This opens up
a palm scanner next to the pad, and Pilgrim places his right
hand on it. Upon successful palm and biometrics scan, the door
slides open to reveal a large communications room similar to
what NASA or other global tracking organization may have.
Pilgrim: Now, let's call Zeph and the ambassador and get your
ship into safe port. Pilgrim says as he walks into the room.
There's only a couple of soldiers in the room as security guards
who all salute Pilgrim while everyone else looks more like
civilian personnel with a few scientists. Pilgrim: Open hailing
frequency to the Dakkurd and contact Ambassador Trovon Khadh..
Oh and don't be nice about it either! Read the scripted Klingon
hailing phrase as written this time instead of insulting a
Klingon with typical polite human words.
Sublevel Two:
Hawkeye: Rank has never meant a thing to me. Neither have fancy
degrees or doctorates since I didn't technically graduate high
school. My talents were never in being highly educated and don't
think they give college degrees in marksmanship, stealth, common
sense, and assassination. Hawkeye says with a smile and a bit of
sarcasm to Data and Shinya after they talk about how their crew
is mostly doctors and how Data is considering a psychology
doctorate as the elevator comes to a slow stop. Hawkeye: Though
I give people like you two credit for wanting to go further with
their education especially when it helps to advance my arrows
and overall safety in combat. The elevator doors open to reveal
a hall that goes right or left. To the right goes into a series
of more hallways and doors. To the left is a short hallway and a
security door. Hawkeye walks out of the elevator and to the left
heading for the security doors. If Shinya's psychic abilities
are strong enough, then he would sense several nonhuman species
(Vulcan, Celestian, and Betazoid) in rooms nearby to the right
of the elevator. To the left, the room has some kind of barrier
preventing psychic powers from affecting or reading the interior
from the outside of it. He's obviously isn't a man of many
words. Hawkeye doesn't talk much due to his raising and
subsequent training except in certain occasions.
