In space.
Butler: A female android? Interesting. I should tell Data about
that. He would find it interesting to meet another android. Data
is a bit unique himself. He says to himself. Well, I'm sure that
will help put the captain at ease when it comes to trading
technology. As long as we don't give the humans something they
can't handle, it should be fine. I'm sure we can find technology
to trade that can benefit us both.
On the Ground.
Aizen was going to respond, but the sudden callout makes him
stop. On instinct, partially thanks to his Celestian Academy
training and the training from his Klingon mentor, Zarick also
salutes as he hears the soldier call out the general on the
deck.
Meanwhile, Blademaster bows to one knee, lowering his head,
seemingly in response to Zarick saluting to Pilgrim.
Dr. Shinya looks to Blademaster. Dr. Shinya: You know that's not
necessary right, Jega? Isn't that overdoing it a little bit? He
says to Blademaster.
Data turns to Jega then to Shinya. Data: I believe what Jega is
displaying is a Sangheili show of respect to a superior. In
their culture, they believe in absolute loyalty to superiors.
Since Captain Zarick is saluting as well, I believe that is why
he is showing respect to match his commander's show of respect.
He explains.
Shinya: Thanks, Narrator. He says sarcastically to Data.

In space:
Trovon: That is good to hear when it comes to the technology. As
Zelpharia will verify, there is currently three organizations
already in place to ensure that what alien technology is traded
with Earth won't have dangerous consequences. There is the
Federation's Tech-Inspectors, UNIT science division, and.. oh
what is the third? Trovon says as he tries to remember that
Torchwood is also an Earth division specializing in identifying
alien technology and impact it would have on Earth. Considering
that he has only been around Earth for about a month or two, it
is understandable why he might forget.
Zelpharia: Torchwood is the third organization, Admiral.
Zelpharia says with a polite smile. Zelpharia: Of course, the
Federation's team is new and works closely with UNIT.. which is
also fairly new.. so they're still getting procedures set up.
Unlike Torchwood which has been collecting and studying alien
technology brought to or found on Earth since 1879 when Queen
Victoria first learned of alien life on the planet. Zelpharia
then gets a thoughtful look as she thinks about Earth's more
alien history. Can't say that Torchwood has everything though
thanks to places like Area 51 and Wright-Patterson's Hangar 18
in the United States. Then Moscow has secret locations filled
with found alien technology. This Earth in this universe has had
a lot.. I mean a lot.. alien species either crash landing on
Earth or coming down and influencing cultures. Even
transdimensional aliens visiting or invading for some reason or
another going back thousands of years. Still amazes this old
time lady just thinking about it.
On the ground:
Pilgrim is surprised when Aizen comes to attention and salutes
along with the rest of the Skyhawks. That brings a smile to his
face as he salutes all of the men as it shows Pilgrim a glimpse
of who he's about to be dealing with. Pilgrim lowers his hand
from the salute and holds it out to Aizen. Pilgrim: You must be
the leader of this group who just pulled one hell of a maneuver
on the Wraith ships. I am General James Pilgrim, and you and
your man kneeling can relax. Pilgrim then address the rest of
his men. Pilgrim's demeanor isn't like the typical military
general in terms of his tone of voice. It's more laid back but
also has a tone often heard in CIA and other spy or black ops
agency operatives. Pilgrim: Just like the rest of you.
Sergeant Thames and his men relax into the at ease position but
remain lined up and silent in the presence of Pilgrim.

In space.
Butler: Interesting. I did manage to use my sensors to try and
locate some places of interest on earth. I did confirm that your
Earth does have a Stargate Command. So they probably have alien
technology as well if they're like other versions we've met.
Tell me, do the Borg exist in this universe? Or the Covenant? He
asks curiously.
On the ground.
Aizen realizes that he was saluting and goes to shake Pilgrim's
hand as he relaxes after Pilgrim's comment. Aizen: Right...
Sorry, General. I'm sure you know how some of those military
habits never truly die. I practically grew up a soldier, so it's
just second nature. He says jokingly. After a quick motion to
Jega, Jega stands back up and relaxes as well.
Shinya: Yeah... I'm not much of a military man. I'm more of a
scientist than a military person. He says with a shrug.

In space:
Trovon: The Borg is here and probably as much of a pain as you
may have experienced in other universes. The Covenant is
something that I haven't much experience in nor heard of.
Zelpharia? He says with a thoughtful look.
Zelpharia: We do have the Covenant in this universe, but there
hasn't been much contact between the either Celestian government
and the Covenant. Most of what we know of them comes from
scanning from space and what the Universal Library has on
record. If the Covenant could prove to allies though, then I am
sure the Federation would approach them. She says to Butler as
she thinks about what little she knows about the Covenant.
On the ground:
Pilgrim: Oh I definitely understand how old habits are, Captain.
I still have many myself between my military and CIA days. So
how about we kill another one and drop the formalities by
calling me either Pilgrim or James.. He then gets a wry grin and
a glint of humor in his one good eye. Pilgrim: ..or One Eye
Bastard. Whichever you're more comfortable with.
Hawkeye looks to Shinya with a straight face. His stance and
serious expression isn't the look of someone of military
background, but of one versed in assassination, espionage, and
special ops training. Hawkeye: Explains why you salute as well
as I would if I was in your predicament. I think Dr. Carter and
Agent M might get along with you.. if everything goes smoothly
here.

In Space.
Butler: Then I better warn Captain Zarick about that... We do
have some Borg tech, and in universes with the Borg, we tend to
have problems where the Borg can sometimes hack some of our tech
if we're not careful... We usually have it under control, but I
think I will probably want to shut down a few systems just be
safe. We've had quite a few universes where we've had to take
them on. We may be able to help your people with some anti-Borg
technology and strategies we possess. He says as he glows in and
out for a moment as he operates a few systems remotely to shut
down, which Zelpharia and Trovon would be able to read that
certain systems on the Clara Rose were now shut down. As for the
Covenant... There is an easy way usually to tell whether they
are potential enemy or ally roughly about 92.78% of the time.
You can tell by the leaders of the group. If they are obsessed
with "The Great Journey", and/or are run by the Prophets or a
group like the Brutes that are loyal to them, they are gonna be
enemies. But if they're run by groups like the Elites who are
not loyal to the Prophets and the Prophets are either dead or
nonexistent, they are usually potential allies. We only ever saw
two exceptions, and one was where the Covenant had been taken
over by the Prometheans after the release of the Didact. Nasty
one, that guy. He explains to Zelpharia and Trovon.
On the Ground.
Zarick: Fair enough. And you can just call me Aizen, or call me
Zarick, depending on what's best for you. Depends on the culture
since some cultures put their last name first.
Shinya was studying Hawkeye's presence with his psychic power,
though does make mental notes about what he could feel from
Hawkeye. Shinya: Well, I am typically better at meeting new
people than some of our people are. So at least there's that. He
says with a shrug in response to Hawkeye's comment.

In space:
Trovon: We'll have to remember that about the Covenant then. As
for Borg, the Federation has quite a bit of anti-Borg technology
but will appreciate trading notes on such technology. Though the
Borg is not a major threat within this quadrant of space, they
are a pest in other quadrants close to Federation territory
within this galaxy. He says with a thoughtful look. Trovon: Your
Borg technology may be safe considering how far away they are
but still better safe than sorry until your captain is on Earth.
Zelpharia: Very true about the Borg, and lately they've only
been aggravating the Dalek and the Zergs in their territories
which is better than bothering the Federation. Which I
personally hope they exterminate each other and leave the rest
of the galaxy alone. Zelpharia then thinks of something.
Zelpharia: Have you and crew come across the Daleks and the
Zergs?
On the ground:
Pilgrim: Ah.. here it depends on the person addressing you,
Zarick. Now how about we get down to the business that you've
come here to talk to me about. If I understand Colonel Tolodora
correctly, I believe you've talk to discuss gaining entry
through the defense shielding for your ship. Pilgrim grows more
serious but remains friendly. It would be obvious to even
non-psychics that Pilgrim isn't worried about Zarick and his
people. His own psychics senses and observations have already
told him what he needs to know about Zarick's characters.
Pilgrim: That shouldn't be a big problem depending on whether it
needs to land for repairs or if it can remain hovering within
the atmosphere.
Feeling wise Hawkeye is definitely relaxed and not actually
concerned about Zarick and his group being a threat though his
physical stance would say otherwise when it comes to Shinya's
psychic senses. Hawkeye: I would say the same thing, but I'm
more of the keep to myself type of person.. until I get a couple
of drinks in me. Hawkeye gives Shinya a bit of a grin. Hawkeye:
Boss man is more of the "people" person type.

On the ground.
To the side, Shinya chuckles a bit at Hawkeye's statement about
being more of a keep to himself. Shinya: Then you and Jega would
get along great. He's kind of that way too. Data... He's a bit
awkward around people, but he can be fun to talk to. He says to
Hawkeye.
Zarick: Indeed. We were looking to get through the shield and
safely land our ship somewhere while we're in this universe.
Unfortunately, our ship was pulled here through a distortion,
and then the Blackfire's forces of the Interdimensional Order of
the Dragon attacked us as soon as we got here. I'd like to keep
my ship safely out of having to confront them. Thankfully, my
ship has Ancient cloaking and shield tech to keep it from being
detected, so anywhere I land my ship can be kept secret. We can
even convert our shield into hologram tech so that we can hide
our ship from prying eyes. I don't know how advanced your world
is, but most Earths I go to, the last the governments want is
news of space aliens to reach the public and cause a panic. He
then stops in a little bit of a worry as he realizes he can't
sense the Clara Rose after Butler shut down the Borg influenced
systems. Wait... My AI just shut down systems on the ship. He
says before going to comms using a small device on his wrist
which brings up a holographic screen. Butler? What's going on?
Why did you shut down my cybernetics connection to the ship?
In Space.
Butler: We have fought Daleks... But I don't believe we've
encountered Zergs yet. At least, not our ship. I don't know if
any of the other ships in the Intergalactic Researcher's
Alliance have or not. He then blinks in and out for a moment as
he gets Zarick's communication. Oh dear... I must leave you for
a moment. Captain Zarick is calling. I don't want him to get
worried.
As Butler talks, a female voice comes on over come, and appears
as a hologram. The woman was wearing a lab coat and glasses, and
had a cheerful smile on her face as she saw Zelpharia and
Trovon. She adjusts her glasses as she stands for a moment,
studying Zeph and Trovon.
Woman: It's okay, Butler. You can go talk to Captain Zarick. I'm
on the bridge now, so I can talk to our new friends. She says
cheerfully. She studies Zeph and Trovon for a moment, and seems
to have a very friendly aura about her. It is nice to see some
familiar faces. Sorry I'm late, I'd have been here sooner, but I
had to check the effects of the distortion on our Quantum Drive.
I had to make sure it didn't cause any damage to the drive when
we got pulled to this universe. She looks at Zeph first. I
assume you're Colonel Zelpharia Tolodora, First Incarnation. She
says, in which "First Incarnation" seemed to mean that she
hadn't regenerated yet. She then turns to Trovon. I was going to
guess Fleet Admiral Trovon Khadh... But you look a bit young
compared to other versions of you I've met. She says, clearly
going by other versions of Trovon she'd met.
Back on the ground.
A small hologram of Butler appears from his Wrist device.
Butler: Sorry sir... I got word the Borg do exist here in this
universe so I thought it would be safer to shut down our Borg
tech just in case, and establish proper systems guards in case
the Borg get interested in our presence. You know how we have
problems with them trying to interface with us... And the last
thing we need is another Super Borg Queen trying to assimilate
our ships like in that one universe.
Zarick: Understandable... He says as he closes his eyes with a
wince, remembering the Borg Queen who nearly assimilated his
ship and a bunch of other ships in the Intergalactic
Researcher's Alliance. However, he quickly regains his
composure. But a little warning would have been nice, Butler. He
says sarcastically.
Butler: Right... Sorry sir. I thought the order in which I shut
down the systems in would have told you I was shutting down our
Borg systems. Butler looks around and then moves over to looking
at Pilgrim. Butler: Oh... I'm sorry to interrupt your
discussion. I am the AI of the Clara Rose, Butler. A pleasure to
meet you. He says, introducing himself to Pilgrim.

In space:
Zelpharia listens to Butler as he explains how they've
encountered Daleks but not the Zerg. She was going to explain
what the Zerg are when Butler says he must go and leaves her and
Trovon with the woman. Zelpharia raises an eyebrow a bit as the
woman does correctly identify her name but not her incarnation.
Apparently the Zelpharia's first incarnation that this woman is
referring to must be a blond when her own first incarnation had
been a brunette. Zelpharia: You have the name and rank correct,
but I am in my Second Incarnation. Ambassador Trovon can verify
that since he was present when I regenerated.
Trovon was preparing to help Zelpharia to explain the Zerg to
Butler until the sudden change in who he and Zelpharia are
talking to. He gives a light chuckle as he only wishes he was
the rank of fleet admiral among his people, but he has to admit
that he's happy with the rank of captain of the Dakkurd and
ambassador. He then gives a hearty laugh after Zelpharia
explains that he was present when she regenerated. Trovon: I
wasn't just present. I was the one who caused Colonel Tolodora
to regenerate. It was a glorious battle of Klingon honor between
us as well as a great Klingon scientific experiment.
Zelpharia: It's also why you're still the rank of ship captain
while also ambassador to Earth, old friend. She says as a way to
keep Trovon from going on a long, unasked for rant about their
past. She knows how he can get. Though Trovon is more civil and
peaceful than the average Klingon, he is still a Klingon and
finds battle to be glorious and honorable.
Trovon: And worth every promotion denial and hateful word of
dishonor for what I have learned from the experience. Trovon
says as he winds his laughter down. He could tell when Zelpharia
was keeping him from wandering off too far on the tales of the
old days. Trovon: You seem to have at least met alternates of
us, but how may you be so that we may address you properly?
On the ground:
Hawkeye looks to Jega and Data as Shinya talks about each one
and studies them a bit. Hawkeye: Well if Jega drinks and enjoys
riding then we might hit it off though he doesn't look like the
Harley type. As for Data, he looks human but since I see that he
really doesn't blink or show normal human reactions which means
he's not human. He studies Data a bit closer. Hawkeye: I might
find him interesting to talk to and hopefully easier to talk to
than a Vulcan.
Pilgrim was about to discuss Earth space ports that Zarick could
land the Clara Rose at until Zarick has to call his ship. He
remains quiet as Zarick and Butler speak when the hologram pops
up and watches with interest. He then introduces himself to
Butler when acknowledged. Pilgrim: Not often that I speak to an
AI outside J.A.R.V.I.S. of Winre Industries or Phoebe of the
Hellsing Organization. Nice to meet you, Butler. We were just
discussing about allowing the Clara Rose through the shield and
where to land so nice of you to join us. He then returns his
attention to Zarick while also including Butler. Pilgrim: Hiding
the Clara Rose from the people of Earth won't be too much of a
problem. The Celestian people have two space ports where the
Clara Rose can safely land and even save power from her cloaking
abilities. One port is in Antarctica beneath miles of ice while
the other is just off the coast of Scotland below the waters of
the North Sea at around 2,000 feet depth mark. Both ports have
their own cloaking technology that keeps them and all docked
ships out of the public eye though humans aren't as reactive
about aliens and supernaturals since the arrival of the
Interdimensional Order.. among other past events that collapsed
the "masquerade".

In space.
The woman seems confused by Zelpharia stating she was in her
second incarnation. Woman: Wait... Second? That's strange, that
was the one I was sure I was gonna get right... After all. That
was my... She sighs for a moment as she was thrown off by
Zelpharia's explanation. However, she regains her composure as
Trovon asks how to address her. She adjusts her glasses and
smiles as though she'd been waiting for them to ask about her
identity. I am Dr. Zelpharia Tolodora-Darkfire, Fourth
Incarnation. From another universe, of course. You can call me
Dr. Tolodora, or you can call me Zeph, whatever is more
comfortable. Just don't call me Dr. Darkfire... That's my
husband's title. And my oldest son's title.She says cheerfully.
I'm head of Engineering on the Clara Rose, and head of
Technological Research and Development in the Intergalactic
Researcher's Alliance.
On the ground.
Shinya: Well... You won't find many on our ship that don't enjoy
a good drink. He says in response to Hawkeye's comment.
Data: Actually... Captain Zarick has sometimes called me a
reverse Vulcan. Where Vulcans seek to suppress their emotions
and act only on logic, I am seeking to gain those emotions and
learn to be more human. He explains.
Zarick: I see... Well, as long as I can keep my ship away from
those replicators in orbit for the time being. I need to learn
more about this world and the alien races in this universe, but
we definitely also may be looking to trade technologies if you
have any tech you'd like to trade with us. We have a number of
things we can offer you as well, though we do have to be careful
we don't give you anything too advanced, as our biggest rule in
our organization is that we don't artificially influence the
growth of a species. Similar to the Federation's Prime
Directive. I may also be able to help you against the Order of
the Dragon. I've tangled with them in a few universes, though
this is the first time they've had replicators on their side
that I've seen, let alone a wraith replicator... And the one we
met was a particularly dangerous wraith I've seen a few other
versions of. But normally the ones I've met go Wraith/human
hybrid, not full machine.

In space:
As Zelpharia and Trovon listen to Dr. Tolodora introduce
herself, Zeph's look lands somewhere between "you've got to be
kidding" and "what the actual f*ck". Trovon just manages to hold
his laughter until Dr. Tolodora finishes talking and then bursts
out in a roar of laughter along with several other Klingons on
the bridge. This makes Zeph raise her hand and pinch the bridge
of her nose as the laughter reminds her of the betting pool the
crew happen to have going. Zelpharia: Please excuse, Ambassador
Trovon and his crew. They have a little betting pool going on
and an alternate of me happens to be on that list. She says as
the laughter begins to die down. She regains some composure and
looks back to the screen.. kind of wishing she had a shot of
Klingon whisky right now. Zelpharia: So I think I'm up to three
alternate kids and now one alternate me. Good lord.. Jack and
Colton will mess with me for a bloody week when they find out.
She says the last sentence more to herself than to anyone else.
She shakes her head and regains composure. Zelpharia: I think
I'll just stick with Dr. Tolodora to keep some confusion down in
terms of names because I also go by Zeph. You don't happen to
also have a loud mouth ancient living sword called Tomasic do
you? Because we already have two temporal versions of him
between me and a multiverse traveling dark elf vampire which is
already two too many. The sword that she is referring to is
sheathed on her side and shines a black light energy in response
to acknowledgement. Tomasic is a singularity meaning that only
temporal copies of him exist throughout the multiverse but there
are no universal alternates as Tomasic was forged in the
primordial days prior to the multiverse. Tomasic speech ability
does not covert well on some hailing frequencies (30% success)
so he remains silent except for the jokes he's unloading on Zeph
in her mind right now. She is use to him so can easily ignore
him. She wears him as part of her uniform since she's working in
that capacity. Zelpharia: Just curious because he gets really
annoyed with himself when around temporal copies and wish to
avoid possible headaches.. for all of us.
Trovon has to walk away while he's laughing so he can recompose
himself. It's not too often he lets his more traditional Klingon
personality quarks out but learning of alternate Zelpharia broke
his more composed nature. He and his men had started a betting
pool after meeting the alternate Federation crew lead by Captain
Mason. This is a win for him in the betting pool, and he knows
Zelpharia knows it. He takes a couple of breaths as he and his
men quiet down and recomposes himself as Zelpharia talks talks
to alternate Zelpharia.
On the ground:
Pilgrim listens to Zarick with an understanding look. He's been
dealing with the Federation of this universe and understands
technology advancement restrictions. Pilgrim: I all too
understand about Federation policy. In this universe, you'll
find it's a bit more lenient than in other universes from what I
understand. I have already had meetings with Federation
representatives and with members from an alternate universe
Federation. This universe's Federation made their decision to
trade technology to an extent after realizing that several alien
species have been influencing and interfering for millions of
years including Celestian and Gallifreyan. Heck, Earth is
technically classified as one of two Celestian governmental
planets for this quadrant of space and a scientific research
planet. He chuckles a bit as he speaks the last part. He then
gives Zarick a wry grin. Pilgrim: We are even working with an
alternate version of Replicator Michael, that replicator/wraith
who greeted you. An alternate wraith/human hybrid who is a
member of the USS Defiance the starship of the alternate
universe Federation. His expression does get a bit more serious.
Pilgrim: So I hope that won't be too much of a problem for you
as I am well aware of the infamous reputations of the Wraith. A
well trained soldier would hear the lack of trust for Wraith in
Pilgrim's voice as he speaks though he keeps his look neutral.
Hawkeye: Then I know plenty of good bars for them. Hawkeye says
to Shinya really quick with a grin before turning his attention
to Data. Hawkeye has had experience with AIs like Phoebe and
J.A.R.V.I.S. and experience with domestic androids. Those
experiences help Hawkeye figure out how different Data is.
Hawkeye: You're an android but an AI model similar to Naomi..
just less emotions. Am I right?
