Jack: Sorry, if you're offended by the whole nickname deal,
Dufort. Just trying to help you feel at home. He says after the
kids go through what they have to say. Jack leans back in his
chair with his plate in his hand. He then looks to the group.
Jack: Now considering how well honed Dufort's psychic skills
are, I'm going to give Rosetta her wish of not having to work
with Colton on assignments. I want Dufort and Rosetta to work on
cases together unless Dufort is needed by the police, FBI, or
UNIT. Then Dufort will work with either Gwen or Martha. He says
       specifically to Dufort and Rosetta.
Rosetta: Yes... She says quietly while air fist grab towards
herself. She's been dying to not have to deal with Colton and
       his bragging.
Zelpharia: I will agree to that partner assignment since I think
Rosetta could learn some things about better control from
       Dufort.
Jack: I agree. She especially needs better emotional control
training when it comes to her powers. Jack says to Zelpharia and
then looks to Dufort specifically. Jack: I hope that is okay
with you when it comes to the partner assignment and training
       with Rosetta.

Dufort: I don't mind the nickname thing... It's just that I
don't do the whole socialization thing well. So I don't really
know a lot of social customs. He explains to Jack. But that
should be fine. He turns to Rosetta. I can help her train. I
think the same way I was trained should work to help her. He
turns back to Jack. Though I still have some powers that I
cannot turn off, so I can't really help with those other than
offer some materials that can help block certain abilities.
That's if she has many of the same abilities I do, and if they
work the same way. He turns back to Rosetta. We're going to have
to compare powers and see how your powers work. But if you have
an ability like mine to copy other psychic powers when they're
used, then it might be difficult if we copy each other's powers.
I have a very long list of them, and some of them make life
       difficult.

Rosetta looks to Dufort as he speaks to Jack and then herself.
Rosetta: I definitely can't copy other psychic powers when
they're used. It takes me time and practice to learn new psychic
skills than what I already know. My psychic senses and telepathy
pretty much annoyingly never shutdown so I can always hear
unguarded thoughts and can't be snuck up on. I can also astral
project, read objects and portals, see the invisible regardless
of type of invisibility, see and sense of spirits of all kinds
and their portals, remote view, bio-manipulation on an advanced
scale, telepathic possession, psychosomatic illness, exorcism,
alter my aura, telekinesis with a lifting power of up to 750
lbs.. Rosetta says as she steps forward from next to Franklin
and Vladimir and towards Dufort. Rosetta: ..took quite a bit of
practice, telekinetic force field, psychic sense invisibility,
spirit purification, soul purification, psychic healing, and the
ability to wield raw purifying psychic energy in which I'm
really good at making psi-swords. Rosetta then demonstrates her
Psy-sword technique by holding her right hand up like holding a
sword. Purifying psychic energy flairs up and into the form of a
       long sword.
Jack decides to let Rosetta speak instead of replying to Dufort
himself especially about the socialization. He's confident that
this family can warm up to him.. though Jack might have to tell
Vladimir to lay off the pranks.
Franklin leans towards Zelpharia and whispers. Franklin: "Bet
you three rounds at the Gold Gopher that Vladimir pranks Dufort
within two weeks to help Dufort feel like family."
Zelpharia: "I learned a long time ago from a Ferengi to not make
bets I know that I'll lose." She whispers back to Franklin.
Hearing that Dufort doesn't do the whole socialization thing,
Vladimir begins to think of different ways to turn that
around... or at least how to prank Dufort like he does the rest
of the family and those he considers to be friends and figure
       out what's going too far.

Dufort: It sounds like your psychic senses and telepathy
abilities work a lot like mine. I can't shut them down, but I
did learn to subconsciously process the incoming information so
that my conscious mind doesn't have to deal with it. I can read
the minds of anyone within 30 feet of me, so no one ever really
surprises me. He says, looking over at Vladimir with a glare as
though silently saying to him "Don't even think about it" before
turning his head back to Rosetta. And I can't turn off senses
like my psychometry or my x-ray vision, so some of my abilities
become more of a hindrance at times. He says to Rosetta. I may
want to see a few of your abilities. Some of them sound the same
as mine, but some of them are different. And maybe I can find
other abilities to teach you that can use your abilities in new
ways like I did with some of my abilities.

Rosetta releases and dissipates the Psy-sword as Dufort speaks.
She cracks a small smile of humor as she sees the all too
familiar glance that she gives Vladimir as well. She's
definitely going to get along with Dufort. She then regains her
composure and speaks when Dufort is done. Rosetta: That
shouldn't be a problem. Just let me know which abilities you
want me to demonstrate, and I'll do them. I'm sure you've
probably have some abilities that I liked demonstrated as well.
She then thinks about X-ray vision and how annoying that could
be. Rosetta: X-ray vision is one ability that I'm glad that I
didn't develop, or I'd probably be really annoyed more than
usual. My different types of clairvoyancy is more than enough of
       an annoyance.
Franklin snickers a bit when he sees the glare that Dufort gives
Vladimir. Not only because it's similar to the one Rosetta gives
Vladimir when she picks up on his thoughts but also because
looks have never been enough to deter Vladimir from pulling a
prank. Hell.. Even Franklin yelling like a drill sergeant isn't
       enough as he's found out.
Vladimir gets a sarcastic "who me" look when Dufort looks at
him, but then an evil grin spreads across his face. Vladimir:
"Challenge accepted, brother." He thinks knowing that Dufort and
       Rosetta would hear him.
Jack: Lay off Dufort, Vladimir. I mean it. Jack says to Vladimir
       with his own glare.
Vladimir: What?! Why does everyone think that I'm up to
something.. yet?! He says to Jack in mock innocence.
Zelpharia: Because you've pranked everyone in Torchwood III
within a week of meeting them. Zelpharia s voice is frank and
       bluntly to the point.

Dufort: We do have a lot of similar powers. A few also sound
similar but we might have different ways of using them. He says
to Rosetta, then looks over to Vladimir again. Should I
electrocute him now or later? He says to Zeph and Jack about
       Vladimir after hearing Vladimir's thoughts.

Jack gets a thoughtful look at Dufort's question. Jack: As long
as you don't hit any of the electronics in here then be my
       guest.
Rosetta: Better to let Vladimir to have a taste of what you have
than wait in my opinion. She says with a smirk. Rosetta:
Especially since he's brave enough to think about it that
       loudly.
Zelpharia: Oh good lord... Zelpharia face palms knowing that
Vladimir is already pushing his luck.
Vladimir: Hey either I treatment him like really family, or I
treat him like Lucien. Personally though I'd rather treat Duffy
like I treat this family because he doesn't seem stuck up like
Lucie and my b@stard father. He's just got the sense of humor of
Hei. Vladimir says with a more sincere expression and tone of
voice. He is honestly trying to treat Dufort like he would
       Rosetta or Franklin.

Dufort: I've had to deal with an Order kid of my mother and
Alucard trying to prove themselves superior to me for years,
that will probably also show up in this dimension before long if
he hasn't already. I don't need to deal with your antics on top
of that. He says to Vladimir.

Vladimir: My antics are at least meant in humor. If I don't mess
with you, then I don't like you type of deal. He says matter of
factly to Dufort. Vladimir: But I'll tone my antics down for a
       little while just for you.
Jack: Looks like the partner assignment is going to work out for
the best then. He says with a wry grin to Dufort and Vladimir.
