Franklin pulls out a laser pistol after expending so much
exertion from using his time-space distortion powers the way he
did. He was going to take a shot when he notices Malcolm's
arrows and quickly calculates which won't be too close to
Zelpharia if enhanced by his distortion power. Franklin decides
to boost the strength of two of Malcolm's arrows with his
distortion energy causing the arrows to glow with a golden
light. Those two taser arrows go off with five times their
normal strength causing more Cyber Men to explode in the chain
effect from power overload while short circuiting a greater
number than Malcolm's first shots. The release of electrical
energy from the two affected arrows looks more like chain
lightning caused by a Darkfire than just a simple taser arrow.
This time Malcolm's arrows manages to take down nearly half of
the 40 Cyber Men (18 down with 5 of 18 exploding) from the
increase of power to two of the arrows. Franklin: I hope you
don't mind that I jacked up the power in your arrows, bud! I
know that kind of ammo is limited! Franklin calls back to
Malcolm without looking at Malcolm as he begins to fire his
laser pistol.
Colton ends up flinching and turning a bit to shield his face as
he's closest to the explosions of overloaded Cyber Men. Colton:
What in tarnation?! Couldn't you have boosted an arrow not so
close to me, Frank?! Colton yells at Franklin as he turns
himself back towards the encroaching Cyber Men and sees exactly
how many enemies went down near him. That's when he realizes how
close to being in the chain effect he really was.
Franklin: That's what you get for calling me "Franky" earlier
today, Pony! Franklin yells back at Colton without stopping his
laser fire. The "Pony" name is a play on Colton's nickname of
Colt which means a juvenile male horse.
Colton: Then I'll remember not to rustle up that bad box
again... Colton says more to himself as he recovers his senses
and begins to fire at enemies.
Jack just covers his face with his arm from the flash of the
explosions as being the next closest to them. He's not mad but
definitely grinning at the effectiveness of unsolicited teamwork
that Franklin had done with Malcolm's arrows. Jack: Well that's
one way to save on arrows!
Zelpharia is unphased by the explosions or the electrical chain
effects going on as she remains focused on cutting down Cyber
Men.
Gwen, being the farther away than everyone else as she's near
Malcolm and the TARDIS, flinches a bit from the explosions but
remains focused. Gwen: There are some days I wonder why I left
the police force with days like this. So much quieter work...
Gwen says to herself with a slight sigh as she returns to firing
on Cyber Men.

Malcolm turns his head to Franklin. Malcolm: Appreciated. But I
just thought of something else you can do. He takes out a taser
arrow. Can you use that distortion power of yours to duplicate
items? From what I was told, it's just a matter of copying the
time-space of an object multiple times. I've seen Kendrix do it
with his gold distortion power, so it should be possible for you
right? I only have a few of these arrows left, and I feel like
I'm gonna need more. He says to Franklin.

Franklin: Yeah, I can do that with my distortion powers. He says
as he turns to look at Malcolm and the taser arrow in his hand.
Franklin raises an eyebrow at the sight of Malcolm, but his
time-space senses pick up on what is going on between the
twinscape of Malcolm and Jack. Franklin: I can make as many
temporal copies as you want. He says with a growing grin as the
idea of making a rain shower of taser arrow temporal copies
raises in his mind. Franklin: I can even make it rain electrical
arrows if needed.
The others continue to attack with their weapons as Franklin and
Malcolm come up with a plan.

Malcolm: Perhaps that would help. If we can pull that one off,
then we can easily take out a fairly large group of them. He
says to Franklin.

Franklin: I agree. Franklin turns himself so he's in the perfect
position to create a temporal copy arrow rain. Franklin: So you
fire one or two, and I'll do my distortion thing. He says with a
grin as he powers up distortion energy. (On a side note for
Zorbak, the amount of power Franklin is and has been using could
be enough to set off the senses of Kendrix and Future Kendra.
Just in case Kendra has the urge to yell at Franklin after
sensing the distortion energy surge along the ley lines. Forgot
to mention that earlier about the time warp technique and when
he was trying to keep the portal small.)
As she fights, Zelpharia takes a hit from a Cyber Man which
makes her growl and swing viciously with a cackling Tomasic. Her
temporal 6th sense picks up on the impending actions of Franklin
and Malcolm which allows her to activate her energy force field
device on her belt loop. She believes it should be strong enough
to prevent friendly fire damage though the electrical discharge
has a chance of shorting the device out.
Gwen drops her now empty clip and switches out with a full one.
Colton pulls out a Bowie knife with one hand as he unloads his
Peacemaker and throws it with dead eye aim straight into the
head of the Cyber Man closest to him. He then closes the six
load chamber and holstering his gun, dropping the Cyber Man with
the knife buried to the hilt. He can see that he needs a weapon
that requires less reloads as he goes for his techno-wizard
elemental blast pistol.
Jack continues to fire at Cyber Men.

(Cool. I haven't used Future Kendra in a while and I'm always
happy to use Kendrix.)
Malcolm nods and takes out two arrows. He aims and fires them,
letting Franklin do his thing.
Not far off, Kendrix and Kendra appear, having sensed the
disturbances.
Kendra looks at the group. Kendra: Wow... I don't even know
where to start with this. She says as she looks on to see what
was happening.
Kendrix: I do. Let's start blasting. He says as he spreads his
wings. He starts flying toward the group and starts firing
crimson lightning at the Cybermen.
Kendra sighs. Kendra: Oh jeez. Here we go. She says as she goes
to Zelpharia first. She goes up to her. So... What's going on?
She says to Zelpharia. She keeps on guard, ready to strike down
any Cybermen that try to attack her.

Golden distortion energy glows around Franklin's hands as he
focuses on Malcolm's two taser arrows. The two arrows glow with
the golden energy briefly and the two arrows become 10 taser
arrows with each original arrow gaining four temporal copies.
Franklin: Damn.. I'm more worn out than I thought from portal
holding. He says when he sees the number of copies he produces.
Each of the 10 taser arrows hit 10 Cyber Men and electrocute
them with 3 exploding.
Zelpharia takes two slashes at a Cyber Man while responding to
Kendra, taking its head on the second one. It's obvious that the
Cyber Men are slower than the average human. Zelpharia: Oh just
stopped a large cybernetic robot invasion force from fully
entering into our universe from their cybernetic one and
finishing off the 40 that made it through before they can build
a cyberizer machine. She then turns her head towards Kendra with
a smile. She speaks as she notices a Cyber Man lumbering towards
Kendra. Zelpharia: Basically another normal day for Torchwood..
and you have one coming for a grapple from behind.
Colton: Where'd Jumpin' Jack Lightning Flash and the little lady
come from? Colton hollers to anyone listening about Kendrix and
Kendra as he takes careful aim with his techno-wizard pistol. He
pulls the trigger which sets the old modified Colt pistol to
demonic ice blast and fires at his target freezing it solid.
Colton: Not that I'm complaining.
Jack: They're friends and allies, Colt. We'll deal with
introductions after we finish playing "save the universe". Jack
hollers back to Colton.
Gwen fires at a Cyber Man but misses which then one of Kendrix's
crimson lightning bolt gets it instead. Kendrix's bolt goes past
power systems overload and melts the steel body down to a lump
molten, red hot metal and legs. Gwen: Bloody hell that's a
monster of electrical bolt, but at least the w@nker machine
didn't blow up. She says in complete awe of Kendrix's crimson
lightning technique as he takes out two more with one bolt. Gwen
does notice something. Gwen: We have two runners going the
opposite way from the fight at the 3 o'clock! Gwen calls out and
fires in the direction of the two Cyber Men attempting to flee
in order to begin the primary mission.

Malcolm looks around, trying to see if he could get anymore of
them. Since Franklin seemed pretty exhausted, he wasn't planning
to ask him to do anything else for the moment. Malcolm: Well...
With Kendrix here, you can probably relax a bit. He can handle
any time-space manipulation from here on. He says to Franklin.
Kendra: Great... As if we didn't have enough groups wanting to
take over the world as it is... Kendra says sarcastically to
Zeph as she takes the opportunity to draw her sword in a
battojutsu style slash, using her incredible speed and power (as
well as focusing her swordman wavelength to more easily tune to
the cybermen so that she could cut through them with less
effort) to try and cut the cyberman's limbs off. Since they were
cybernetic beings, Kendra wasn't hesitant about cutting off
their limbs (at least at the moment), even if she didn't want to
kill what she saw as a living being.
Kendrix: EVeryone always run eventually... Kendrix says
sarcastically as he looks over as Gwen calls out the two trying
to get away. Kendrix fires more blasts of crimson lightning at
the two, since it seemed his crimson lightning was effective.

As Malcolm speaks, Franklin pulls out and puts on specially
made archery gloves. Franklin: Fine by me. Gives me a chance to
show off other skills. He says to Malcolm as he then pulls out a
device that expands into a metal bow with the press of a button.
Franklin: If you aim just above mid torso and center with an
armor piercing arrow, then you'll hit between the positive and
negative junction points to the power supply and short them out.
Franklin says as a photon energy beam forms the string of the
bow. He quickly takes aim, draws back the beam which forms a
photon arrow and releases it at a Cyber Man.
A couple of replicators from the Cyber Men universe crawl out
from their hiding spots on the cybernetic robot that Kendra
easily slices the limbs off of. They quickly go to work at
repairing the damage dealt by putting the limbs back on. The
process is slow though with only two replicators. Zelpharia sees
this and quickly cuts off the transmitter antenna system on both
sides of the Cyber Man's head, spots where ears would normally
be. Zelpharia: Well these conquering types would drive us to
work with the Order should succeed getting a foothold anywhere
in the universe. So it's technically best just to destroy the
Cyber Men instead of just severing limbs, but if you want to
study a live specimen then cut off the transmitter system on
either side of the head. She then back swings and slashes
through the power supply junction area of the torso. Zelpharia:
Or go for the main power supply because life support power for
the flesh CPU brain isn't enough to command their replicator
symbiotes. She says as the slashed one drops.
Gwen: That's true, but many of us usually have to run after
them... Gwen calls back to Kendrix as she steps forward because
of how quickly enemy numbers are dropping. Gwen: ..while you can
just bloody slag them with that reddish lightning. Then more to
herself as she fires several shots into a single Cyber Man.
Gwen: Which is bloody useful and saves me from having to give
chase.
Colton: At least Cyber Men are slower than the goblins we had to
take care of earlier. He says as he fires off another demonic
ice blast and freezes another Cyber Man.
There's only 11 Cyber Men left after everyone's attacks.

Malcolm nods and switches to explosive piercing arrows. He fires
a few at the cybermen, trying to save his last taser arrow in
case it was needed as he was just going to have Kendrix make
some more temporal duplicates of it if needed.
Kendra shrugs. Kendra: Yeah... I don't like killing if I can
help it. I make it a point not to resort to it unless I have no
other choice. And if it's a race or something I don't know, I
don't like assuming death is the only way She says in response
to Zelpharia.
Kendrix looks over to Kendra, hearing her comment. Kendrix: I
will. I'll kill anything that's a threat. He says as he fires
more crimson lightning at the remaining cybermen. I didn't think
this crimson lightning would work that well. But I guess it
makes sense they don't have any real defense against it. It did
work well against a dark spirit controlled machine, so I guess
there's no reason to think it wouldn't have worked here too if
these things weren't as strong as the dark spirit machine I
fought. He says in response to Gwen.
