Victor: Good ta hear that she's still around and with us, but
that's not good about Hei nor those who've joined him. What
about Alucard and those Crow Mercenaries people? Victor says as
he gets more concerned about the number of allies versus the
number of enemies. Victor: And Kindron or the alchemists?

Kendrix: Alucard is dead... Supposedly. Him, Integra and Lucius
were killed by Flandre Scarlet. Technically I should have been
killed by their servant, Ulquiorra, at that time, but Sakuya
managed to put in a time stasis to slowly heal me. He explains.
Integra and Lucius's daughter Phoebe runs C-Sec, which is
basically like the police force for the city. And she's got her
uncle Akiba, as well as Dr. Oliver helping her run things.
Apparently they also have Commander Doggie Cruger from SPD
Headquarters as well (SPD being based in Iceland City). The Crow
Mercenaries are still around, and still work with Blademaster
Raven. They usually hang out somewhere in the Bounty Hunter's
Den, which apparently is a place where all the stuff gets posted
for bounty hunter work. Some of their members are in other
places, like Yataro Ishida is with the Exiles now, and I believe
Elen and Elesis are traveling with Alathen. And Rachel is
running her own city in Europe called Transylvania City with the
new Alucard family she built up over the years. He thinks for a
moment. Last I heard, the alchemists were in Neo Tokyo City. I
don't know where the vampire ninjas are today as I lost track of
them after the Scarlet Mist came down. High probability is that
they're in Beijing City, one of the few cities still loyal to
Black Sun that let Black Sun continue to run things. As for
Kindron, he handed over control of Darkfire Tech and Red Brand
Foods over to the Darkfires in Japan after the Flandre Scarlet
thing left him pretty messed up. He explains. Victor would
probably remember Kindron having started a company called
Darkfire Tech in the days of the London community, and
eventually a sub-company called Red Brand Foods came about
thanks to Kindron developing artificial food for other
supernaturals so they wouldn't have to kill humans. Thankfully,
he recovered though and is back to normal, mostly. These days,
he's started an orphanage/school for cursed children in the
Moonlight District called Hillview Academy. He's been doing
pretty well there and him and his wife (Acillia) have been
staying pretty busy.

Victor: Geez.. I really did miss a lot. Good to hear that
Kindron is still around... Victor is sincere about being glad
that Kindron is still around but gets less sincere as he
continues. Victor: ..but a damn shame to hear about Alucard well
if he is dead. Kendrix would remember that Victor has always had
feelings for Raven along with an odd bond. The thought of
Alucard being dead only causes Victor to get a slight grin about
possibilities. Victor: It'll be my luck that the old vampire
ain't dead though. He says with a bit of a chuckle. Victor: As
for everyone else, it's good to know they're still around but
damn it sounds like the good guys are spread thin.
Speaking of Raven... She is currently taking a slow stroll back
to Black Sun after visiting a local family of werewolves who she
had become friends with. Her walking path took her near Ragnarok
territory but not close enough for her to usually worry about
trouble. Everything was peaceful until she heard a noise coming
from a nearby intersection. Raven became curious and jogs up to
the corner in time to see what appears to be a scared child
running from a group of Ragnarok grunts. She growls softly as
she watches the child turn in the direction that she was heading
and the Ragnarok grunts keep close behind the child. Raven isn't
sure what is going on and decides to take the form of a raven in
order to follow just to make sure this isn't a trap. She flies
off and follows the chase from the air. Raven: "If this isn't a
trap, then I am going to kick some serious ass."

Kendrix: They are. We don't have access to as many allies as we
did before. Though the priest version of my father is here with
his family as well, and he also runs an orphanage. Zelpharia
runs a group here called Quantum Crew who are neutral in most of
the conflicts. He then shrugs. But yeah, Black Sun doesn't have
nearly the same amount of support we used to. A lot of our
allies aren't joining the conflicts against Ragnorok if they can
help it, but pretty soon, we may have to all join up against my
father and the other dark lord if their war spreads to the city.

Victor: Sounds like Black Sun is in a tight spot in terms of
allies and people if it's gonna take your father and some other
evil being to bring everyone together. Is it safe ta say that
our alien allies have been stayin' away from the planet since
the mist rolled in?
Raven continues to fly over the chase and watching the scared
child. She then sees another group of Ragnarok grunts coming
from another side street just ahead of the child and gets ready
to save the child. Until she sees the child oddly change into a
black cat just as the second group of grunts joins the first
group. Raven: "What in the.. now I see why Ragnarok dolts are
chasing that entity. I don't know if I should handle this alone,
but I can't let that shapeshifter get caught and subjected to
God knows what." Raven then begins going over what she can do to
help the shapeshifter as the mob chasing it has grown from 10 to
20. She then sees the Black Sun building getting closer and has
an idea. She swoops down to the shapeshifter and speaks to it
telepathically. Raven: "Follow me to safety, friend."
Amorfos: "Alright! Lead the way to safety, please." The
shapeshifter responds to Raven with its own telepathic abilities
as it follows her raven form through the streets towards the
Black Sun building. The response did surprise Raven but it
doesn't stop her from leading her new friend to safety. What
does slow her and the shapeshifter down is dodging varanium
bullets fired at them by the Ragnarok grunts.

Kendrix: As far as I know... I haven't heard anything from them.
Even if I had, I don't know how they can really do much with all
the cities being specifically shielded. We have transports that
move between cities, but it's been difficult since the
transports always have such lengthy decontamination procedures.
But that would probably be a question for the group at the
Quantum Crew more than me.

Victor: Yeah, that Celestian time lady and I didn't exactly vibe
right back in the day, but I'll talk to the Quantum Crew if I
really want ta find out about our alien allies. I've also seen
the decontamination process at the transport docks and can say
that it looks like a pain in the ass. Possibly longer than what
an individual like me had ta go through ta get in the city. What
did surprise me is how many villages of humans and
surpernaturals that I saw outside the walls in the mist itself.
Made a couple of new friends with these mist immune humans in
some of those villages so I might be able ta at least drum up a
couple more allies ta help but not too much. Them mist immune
are leery of cities like this though and see them as havens of
ill repute and violence.
The gun fire begins to get worse the closer Raven and the
shapeshifter get to the Black Sun building. Finally, one bullet
manages to hit Raven in her wing and painfully sends her to the
ground, forcing her back into her vampire form. Raven growls
softly as she grabs her upper right arm and begins to stand up
as the Ragnarok grunts begin to surround her. To her surprise,
the shapeshifter stops running and takes Raven's form right next
to her. Raven: Okay. This should be interesting. Do you also
have my powers when in that form?
Amorfos: in Raven's voice No, I don't. I do have psychic powers
though. The shapeshifter says as it summons up its Psy-Sword, a
sword of pure psychic energy, as the Ragnarok grunts completely
encircle the two of them.
Raven: Well then I better call in some extra help just in case.
She says to the shapeshifter as she lights her right hand up
with dark fire. Raven was about to call for Kendrix
telepathically until another varanium bullets pierces her upper
back from behind. Raven: Sh*t! She says as she fires off a blast
of dark fire behind her causing the grunts to hit the ground or
scatter.

Kendrix: Interesting... So there are people living out in the
mist? He says, somewhat surprised. In my timeline, we didn't
have cities like this. We made our towns underground and did our
best to filter the air... At least when our timeline Alucard
wasn't turning cities into glass floors. I always figured there
could be some people who could live like that. And if they're
mist immune, that's even better for them. It means they don't
have to worry about Scarlet Fever. I also heard some rumors
about possible cities in the mist that we don't know about. The
most famous one is a rumor that there's a city in Africa, though
we found no traces of there being one. If there is one, it
either uses stealth tech or it could be underground.
As Raven was close enough to the Black Sun building, Mecha
Shadow managed to sense the commotion outside, and had gone to
investigate. He flew not far to Raven's group, and uses his spin
dash form to try and crash down from above to take out a side of
the group that had surrounded Raven.

Victor: Well I didn't see cities of mist immune, but I
definitely saw whole villages of anywhere from 100 ta 900
strong. I even saw the monsters they've become experts at
fighting and helped dispatch a few. Many of the villages I came
across out there also had supernaturals and metahumans who are
immune living with them too. We might be able ta rally help from
the villages should your old man and that other dark lord get
out of hand. He says with a thoughtful look as Victor tries to
think of where possible new allies might be found.
Mecha Shadow's spin dash crash works and takes down a side of
the grunts surrounding Raven. Those who are able to get up
afterwards do so and scramble away from Mecha Shadow. Raven
looks back briefly to Mecha Shadow and smiles in a bit of
relief. Raven: Oh thank God you're here, Shado... Raven is cut
off by the burning pain of another varanium bullet biting into
her flesh during her brief distraction, this time into her right
thigh. She goes down to one knee with a growl as her eyes begin
to glow red. Raven: Now I am p*ssed. She then fires a column of
black fire at part of the group of Ragarok grunts she suspects
the latest bullet came from. The grunts scatter as quickly as
possible though a couple didn't fully make it and begin to
scream in pain as the black flames burn their clothing and more
but leaving metals behind. Raven: Don't you bastards know where
you are?!
The shapeshifter in Raven's form attacks a nearby grunt with its
Psy-sword and manages to get a successful attack. It spins as
the first grunt drops and uses Telekinetic Push to touchlessly
shove a few grunts further away from it, Raven, and Mecha
Shadow. Those grunts who haven't attacked yet or been attacked
begin to see that the odds are stacking up against them and
begin to slowly retreat while continuing to fire at Raven, Mecha
Shadow, and the shapeshifter.

Kendrix: I'd rather not get them involved if I can help it. If
they're living peacefully in the mist, then they need to stay
that way. If we get them to help us, then their existence being
known might get them attacked. Especially since I've heard
rumors of someone controlling the mist and the mist monsters.
There's a rumor going around about some woman who's controlling
the mist monsters and has been sending mist monsters in an
organized effort to try and break the walls to the cities.
Apparently, the Vatican nearly had one of their walls breached
by a Stage 5 mist monster that had a bunch of stage 4s and stage
3s organized behind it. That's why Nightbane and Kira had to
head back to Vatican city. I've had reports of other cities who
have reported organized groups of mist monsters attacking. And a
bounty hunter we have in town who is empowered by the Mist says
he can't go out into the mist anymore because of the voice in
the mist. He explains. Currently, the Stage 5 mist monsters were
the most dangerous mist monsters known, and were often the size
of skyscrapers. No one knew specifically how Stage 5 mist
monsters were created, but many assumed it had something to do
with the parts of the world still corrupted by Galian's
presence, as it seemed Stage 5 mist monsters were their own
thing and didn't follow the standard evolution of mist monsters
in stages 1-4.
Mecha Shadow goes to attack the Ragnorok members retreating as
he ignites a blade of dark energy from his arm like a sword,
trying to cut down as many as he could in a flash of speed
before they could get away.
