Laura: It is honorable for you to be admitting the mistake made,
Hei. I accept your offer to do the repairs and could use a few
things updated, but I also want price paid by Cinder. If she be
wanting to burn buildings and enemies, then I have a few jobs
for her that would take care of her part and rid the guild and
the Sabbat of some headaches here in Berlin. Laura says as she
begins to calm down as she talks with Hei about who is to blame
and how to fix the situation. Laura: I won't be goin' to your
papa about this.. and thank you for saying to not blame your
mama. Laura leaves the last part at that as she rather not bring
in her own personal dislike and jealous suspicion of Raven into
an already tense moment. Laura: Just remember to use weapons or
fists the next time you see someone suspicious or even tap
Gruger and point him in the right direction.
Karasu tries to shake off the mortified expression from her face
as she turns back to Laura and picks up her Bloody Jack from
just in front of Laura. Now she sees a little reason why Qrow
and Raven have a problem with Cinder but remains true to her
promise to Hei to be nice by not cussing out Cinder. Instead she
tells herself that Cinder had a good reason to do what she did.
Karasu: Well at least she didn't do worse than scorch the bar a
bit. Karasu says more to herself and then takes half the drink
in one swig.
Victor relaxes as Laura accepts Hei's apology and offer with the
addition of her conditions as well as the rest of the guild
members. Though everyone is still on edge and wondering where
the person that Cinder attacked had disappeared to with a couple
of drunks whispering about how Scott just vanished. Those who
were engaged in the tournament finish declaring who the winner
really is and dividing the pot as now the guild is more
concerned about an infiltrator than a tournament.
Random Drunk: Whoever he was, the w@nker is now sportin' his
tidy whiteys since he left 'is coat and pants when he
disappeared.
A winged carpenter ant waits for Scott at the bottom of the pant
leg as he shimmies the rest of the way out. Scott: Ah, Antoine.
My faithful carpenter ant. Scott says as he mounts Antoine's
back and settles himself safely on the ant's back. Scott: Let's
see if you can get me on to one of the men with that Karasu
woman. Scott says to Antoine as he points out Hei and Victor.
Antoine understands and takes off into flight towards Hei and
Victor, but just out of sight and low to the ground.

Hei: Well... If I'd have been able to communicate with Victor
quickly enough, we might have captured him and tried to figure
out what he was doing. He says in response about Laura
mentioning using fists or weapons next time.
Cinder: Well... I suppose it can't be helped. Fine then. If you
want anyone taken out, I'd be happy to oblige. She says to
Laura.
Hei: Wait... You're actually agreeing? He says, not having
expected Cinder to agree to Laura's terms.
Cinder: It's hard enough finding places we can be accepted,
Hei... I'd rather not ruin one of the few places that might
accept us. It's already hard enough with you family wanting to
kill me, and the other Order members wanting to kill you. I
don't need to ruin a potential ally. She explains to Hei.
As Hei notices people talking about where the man went, he
mentally focuses to Victor and Karasu. Hei: That guy wasn't
incinerated by Cinder... I don't know what happened to him, but
he may still be around here. It might be better for Victor to
search for him. He definitely was spying on us, so we should try
and get information out of him if we can track him down.

Laura: Well then I have to get my list together and get back
with you on my exact targets. Laura says with a satisfied smile.
She hears Cinder's comment to Hei about not wanting to risk
losing potential allies and how Qrow and Raven want to kill
Cinder. In Laura's mind, anyone that Raven Branwen-Darkfire
hates is a potential friend and ally to her even if Qrow doesn't
like that person. That forms an idea in Laura's mind. Laura: She
be right, Hei. If you both be having that kind of problems with
your folks and the Order, then you both could use as many allies
as possible. You both be welcomed here or at any Guilde des
Voleurs guild hall and won't be judged. Just take it easy next
time.
Karasu is surprised that Cinder took Laura's deal as well but
then even more surprised.. and slightly suspicious.. at Laura's
words to Hei and Cinder. Karasu: Well that's nicer than I
expected from Laura.
Gruger: Laura is more accepting of those in love and persecuted
for it than most. Probably because her own family forbade her
from courting Qrow Darkfire prior to his meeting Raven and was
disowned when she continued to attempt to pursue him. Gruger
says softly to Karasu so only she could clearly hear him with
his gravelly half-orc voice. Gruger is one of Laura's closest
and most loyal friends and one who knows Laura's past quite
well. Gruger: She hasn't been back to Paris since and became one
of the Seven Pirate Kings.
Karasu: Huh.. I knew she had a crush on my dad, but I never knew
that she tried to date him before he met my mom. Karasu says
just as softly to Gruger with a hint of surprise to the
revelation from Gruger. She then hears Hei speak to her
telepathically and responds to him. Karasu: "I noticed that when
one of the regular drunks mentioned the guy's pants and coat are
still in the booth that he was sitting in. I agree that Victor
should search for him since his senses are more keen than ours
right now."
Victor: "Ain't telepathic but gonna hope ya hear this. The guy's
scent ain't gone but it ain't strong either. It's like he's
either invisible or really small, but too hard ta tell with all
the other odors in here. I definitely don't hear him, but he
could be waitin' for the crowd ta get rowdy again before
movin'." Victor says as he stands up and stretches in a
nonchalant manner. Victor then casually walks towards the booth
that Scott was sitting in and pretends to read a couple of
posters near it. Victor does pick up on the faint smell of an
ant but figures that he might be smelling things weird because
of the mass of odors in the bar.
Scott was glad that Victor had walked away as he knows that
Sabretooth would've been able to pick up on him if he wasn't
careful. Scott decides that hitching a ride on Hei might be
safer and directs Antoine towards Hei's back. The whole time
Scott is praying that he survives all of this long enough to
kick David's ass for not returning to the designated meeting
location months ago. Knowing that his voice should be soft
enough to escape Hei's hearing at this size, Scott softly speaks
to his ant as he directs it to attempt to land on the back of
Hei's right shoulder. Scott: That's it, Antoine. Get us right at
the base of this guy's coat collar. He coaches as Antoine begins
to carefully rise from close to the floor up towards Hei' right
shoulder.

Hei: I can still sense his presence... But it's hard to explain.
I've never felt a presence change like that before. And I'm
having trouble figuring out where it is. I think it's nearby,
but I can't be sure. He says telepathically to Karasu and
Victor. Not only did he have his presence sense, but he also had
his temporal/spacial sense since he had become a temporal
anomaly with his distortion power using his black flames.
However, due to the strange uniqueness of what Scott had done,
Hei had no way to really describe how he sensed Scott in his
shrunk form and the fact he couldn't lock on to Scott's presence
when he was small.
Cinder just stays silent for the moment.

Karasu: "I don't like this. It's not often someone can throw you
off, Hei. You two keep trying to find him. I'm going to ask
Laura about David." Karasu replies telepathically. She then
takes a sip of her drink and looks to Laura. Karasu returns to
using the thieves' cant language. Karasu: Where were we before
being interrupted?
Laura: replying in thieves' cant You just finished telling me
how Percival f*cked you over after taking a job from Spiel and
got saved by Sabretooth.
Karasu: Right. So have you seen David?
Laura: Not in two months after I told him to leave and never
come back. He got five of our brethren either locked up or
killed and lucky I let him leave with his life. Told him that my
people will kill him if he ever entered one of our guild halls
again and would put a hit on his head if another member goes
down. If you want Percival, then try down at Wolfengard Tavern..
She then points to Cinder while still speaking in thieves' cant.
Laura: ..and have Cinder burn it down when you're done. She'll
get a bonus if Spiel burns with his guild hall.. damn anti-super
racist bastard. I don't know how you trick an old supernatural
hunter into thinking you be human but you gutsy for it even if
it bit you in the ass.
Victor walks up to the booth Scott was sitting, picks up the
coat, and holds it to his nose. He takes a deep inhale in order
to better gage Scott's scent and grins as he drops it. He then
thinks hard to let Hei and Karasu know what he smells. Victor:
"The guy is definitely normal human but with a higher level of
certain pheromones that certain insects like. I also smell the
fading scent of metal. I think our boy is usin' some kind of
technology to do his little trick."
Scott sends a silent text message through his communicator to
Whitefire letting him know what Scott is planning and the need
for radio silence. He then turns on the GPS tracker feature of
the communicator so Whitefire can track where he and his vampire
ride go. Scott knows that the closer he gets to someone's ear
then the risk of being heard increases especially if you speak
louder than soft tone which is why Scott needs radio silence. He
then focuses as he mentally direct Antoine where to land as he
eases his winged ant down onto just on the backside of Hei's
right shoulder near the base of his coat's collar. Now landed on
Hei, Scott begins to silently pray that Karasu, Hei, Cinder, and
Victor will soon move on and forget about him for awhile. Scott
could use a break to think about how he's going to hurt David
for putting him through all this just to find David's ass and
take him back to Integrio.

Cinder: Well, I certainly don't mind taking out some
competition. Sounds like I don't have to hold back. She says
when Laura talks about the other bar.
When Scott activates his GPS, Hei is completely confused and
looks around. While he was listening to Laura talk, he was more
focused on trying to sense the GPS signal Scott was sending. He
was able to sense the signal sent, but couldn't figure out why
it felt like it was coming from very nearby. Like Scott's
presence, he couldn't pinpoint it, but knew that it was close.
He tries to focus. Hei: It's definitely tech he's using. I can't
lock on to it, but he's sending some form of signal. I can sense
it, and it feels really close, like within arm's reach. But I
can't focus in on it. This is aggravating. He says
telepathically, annoyed.

Karasu: "Not good if this guy's tech is messing with you, bro.
He can't be too far away if he feels that close. Keep trying and
see if you can pinpoint him, but it looks like we'll be moving
on soon."
Laura gets a grin at Cinder's comment and looks to Karasu as she
pulls out a cell phone for her. Laura: I like that gal. She'd
make a fine guild member in time. Laura says about Cinder to
Karasu as she hands Karasu the cell phone. Laura: You got your
code to restore your info?
Karasu: Yeah, I remember it. Karasu takes the cell phone, turns
it on, and types in the code in order to restore her contacts.
Laura: Good. Now to take care of Percival since he messed with
you and your family. Laura says as she takes out her phone and
begins to write a mass message. Laura: Hit or retrieval?
Karasu: Huh? Oh definitely a retrieval. If anyone is killing
David, then that will be me, Hei, Victor, and Cinder. Just bring
him here should the guild find him and call me.
Laura: Retrieval it is. She then completes her mass text message
and hits send. Almost every cell phone in the bar rings an alert
of an incoming message at the same time with the exception of a
couple of drunks. All the guild members around Hei, Cinder, and
Victor check their phones and then begin collecting weapons and
cuffs as they prepare to search for David. Laura: There we go. I
think a price of $250,000 Deutsche Marks is a fair price for
retrieving that weasel. She says with a smirk.
Victor drops Scott's coat back in the booth and turns back to
Hei and Cinder. He then notes what is happening as guild members
check their phones as he walks back over to the table he and the
others have taken. Victor: Looks like the guild has a bit of
business. Victor says as he steps next to Hei. That's when that
odd smell of pheromones and ant catches his nose and makes his
nostrils flare. It's stronger here near Hei than over by the
booth where Scott was sitting. Victor quickly picks up on the
odd coincidence and thinks his suspicion to Hei while looking
like nothing is amiss. Victor: "There is one critter ya don't
commonly find deep in German cities too often 'cause of the
habitat, and that is ants.. or in this case, a single ant and
the smell is coming from somewhere on you, Hei."
Scott carefully climbs off Antoine and mentally wills the winged
carpenter ant to take off of Hei as he gets a foothold on Hei's
coat collar. Scott gets a little nervous about Victor and how
good his sense of smell is as his tech temporarily increases a
pheromone take insects like ants respond to for communication,
but Scott didn't want to risk Antoine's safety if Hei should
figure out where he is. Antoine obeys and flies off as Scott
carefully makes his way further up Hei's right shoulder. Scott
stays close to the collar, using it to hide himself, and gets
into position where he can easily escape or flip Hei across the
room using his combat skills and the ability of his suit to
increase kinetic and inertial energies when going from small to
big in mid-combat move. He just hopes that he won't have to do
any of that.

Hei starts to silently spark electricity from his jacket to
cover him, as he tries to bug zap anything that might be nearby
him. However, he keeps his electrical energies invisible, trying
not to alert anyone around him. Hei: Then perhaps I can try and
flush them out. You guys may want to stand back a bit. He says
telepathically to the group.
Cinder stays silent as the guild all check their phones.

Karasu: That's too generous. Karasu replies to Laura.
Laura: Not if you want him fast. She says with a laugh. Laura
then looks to Hei and the others. Laura: Just remind them to try
to keep the damage to a minimum.
Karasu: Gotcha. We'll do our best. She says with a smile and
finishes her drink while putting the phone way. She then turns
towards the others and stands but doesn't move forward after
Hei's warning.
Victor takes a few steps away from Hei and prepares himself.
It doesn't take Scott long to figure out that Hei is doing
something with electricity. His suit provides enough insulation
to keep himself protected to an extent, but he's not going to
push his luck when it comes to his Pym particle device. He hears
the crackle of electricity along his suit though he can't see it
and wishes he had Tony add a few extra features. He sees three
options. Either jump off Hei while returning to normal size for
a safer landing which might get him shocked to death before he
can shrink again since he doesn't know how powerful Hei is. Or
Scott could use his combat training and try to use Hei as a
distraction for a possible easier escape which Scott figures
he's still has some upper hand there. Last option could be fun
and maybe allow for some negotiation by taking his Shrink Disc,
hitting Hei in the neck, and shrinking Hei to his current size.
Scott decides to try his third option before he pushes his suit
too far. He grabs off the Shrink Disc from his belt as he
maneuvers himself for a clear aim at a really big target. Once
in position, Scott activates the disc which makes the center
pulse blue and throws it at Hei's neck where it will shrink Hei
down to being just a bit smaller than an ant when it hits his
neck. Scott figures his strike should be successful but is
silently praying that Hei isn't immune to being shrunk with Pym
particles.

Since Hei hadn't even heard of Pym particles, he was not at all
prepared for the shrinking. The disk is able to shrink Hei
successfully, completely confusing Hei in the process as he is
shrunk.
Cinder was watching Hei, and was completely confused as to what
happens to Hei as he shrinks.
