Victor stands up and looks to Hei and Karasu. Victor: Leave 'em
the shelter, huh?
Karasu: Yes but with some modification to suit their needs. She
says as she turns toward the stone shelter. She then uses her
powers to form the shelter into a natural cave with an opening
just big enough for the wolves. Karasu: That should work.
A young she-wolf, no older than a year, walks up to Hei with her
tail wagging in interest. She starts off with sniffing Hei but
then starts to try to get a bit friendly with rubbing against
him and general courtship play. Hei's wolf sense would tell him
that this she-wolf is in heat and trying to entice what she
perceives is a single male wolf.
Victor starts snickering when the she-wolf starts trying to
Hei's attention as Karasu turns back to see what is going on.
Karasu: I think we should get home before Hei ends up having to
explain his new friend.

Hei: Yeah... We should go. I don't suppose she'd understand I'm
a married man? He says, realizing what the she-wolf was wanting.

Victor: Only if ya had brought yer lady along. He says as he
walks over to Hei. This prompts the alpha wolf to stand and
rejoin his pack. Victor looks down to the young she-wolf with a
smile. Victor: Sorry, Lassy. This guy is goin' with us. Ya need
ta find a mate somewhere else. She drops her tail and ears in
disappointment and walks back over to join the pack.
Karasu pets the alpha female on the head once more and looks her
in the eyes in order to communicate using her Feral Whisper
ability. Karasu: That should make a good den for the pack now,
and we're leaving plenty of warm furs for sleeping on. Take care
of your cubs and mate. She then gives each wolf a pet as she
walks over to Victor and Hei. Karasu: There we go. I'm all set
to go home before they try to convince Hei to stay. She says
with a soft laugh. Karasu: I'll admit that it'll be nice to not
have to sew my clothes and stab my f*cking hand.
Victor: At least ya learned ta sew and cook which is important
fer survival.
Karasu: True, but I don't think burning meat qualifies as
cooking.
Victor: It was edible. He says with a laugh. Victor: Yer right
though it will be a little nice goin' back to civilization.

Hei: Cooking and sewing can be useful skills. If I couldn't sew,
then I wouldn't be able to infuse dust into my jacket. He says.
When Hei said dust, he wasn't talking about literal dust, but
elemental dust that the Branwen family uses was more of an
energy in a powder or crystal form that housed elemental energy.
Those that knew Hei knew that he lined his coat with flame,
lightning and darkness dust as a means to generate extra
elemental power.

Karasu: Well, now I can sew somewhat and burn meat to just
edible levels so at least it's a start. The sewing I probably
can get better at, but as Victor might agree, my cooking skills
may never improve. Karasu responds to Hei with a bit of humor as
she takes a spot in between Victor and Hei. The wolf pack can
sense that Karasu is preparing to teleport the group and back
away from them as she builds energy.
Victor: Yeah, you're definitely a better hunter than cook. He
laughs a bit as he puts an arm around Karasu's waist.
Karasu: That I definitely won't disagree with. Enough though
before I try to delay longer. With that said, Karasu uses her
fire to teleport the three of them to the Darkfire homestead. As
her fire fades away, Karasu takes a steadying breath and
prepares for what is to come from Qrow and Raven. That earns her
a soft, reassuring squeeze from Victor which does help her
nerves Karasu: Now for the real fun. Explaining everything to
mom and dad.

Hei just stands silently as Karasu teleports them. He just looks
away from Karasu and Victor as they have a lover's moment.
Yeah... That's going to be fun. He says as Karasu mentions
explaining her relationship with Victor.

Victor: Well let's get this fun goin'. I'll let ya two lead the
way. Victor says as he drops his hand from Karasu's waist out of
respect. Victor: Gotta admit. First time I've ever met parents
before that wasn't in a court room. His voice has humor in it as
he speaks but also a bit of wariness.
Karasu: Funny but I recommend a little less of that kind of
humor when meeting the folks. Karasu says with a roll of her
eyes as she starts trying to sense where Qrow and Raven are.
Karasu: I also recommend staying alert just in case. She then
reaches out to Raven with her telepathy. Karasu: "I'm home and
have someone I would like for you and dad to meet. Should we
come to you?"
Victor: I'm as alert as a cornered animal 'nd still don't feel
alert enough. He says more to himself than anything else.

As Karasu calls for Raven, Raven appears in her raven form
(which unlike the elemental shapeshift, Raven's form was that of
a real crow), flying from the upper level. She lands and returns
to normal, with Qrow appearing next to Raven in a burst of black
flames.
Raven: It seems Hei was successful in tracking you down. She
says before turning her attention to Victor. And I assume this
is the one you want us to meet?

Karasu bows respectfully to Qrow and Raven and then speaks.
Karasu is a bit nervous still but doing her best to hide it.
Karasu: Yes, Hei was able to find us. Thank you for sending him.
She then places a hand on Victor's shoulder. Karasu: I would
like for you both the man who helped me get out of the Russian
prison I was stuck in and taught me a few things about
wilderness survival. This is Victor Creed.
Being well versed in Japanese culture, Victor bows respectfully
to Qrow and Raven and greets them in Japanese. Victor:
Ryōhō ni go aisatsu shimasu. (Greetings to you both.)
He stands straight in time to see the look of surprise in
Karasu's eyes. He was glad that he hadn't given away everything
about himself yet. Victor does return to speaking English
though. Victor: I'm honored ta meet ya both and frankly
apologize fer y'all gettin' worried about Karasu. One thing he's
learned over his lifetime is how to be respectful especially in
a culture where respect and honor are highly regarded. This is
one of those times that he's glad he works with the Yakuza and
learned a few things.

Qrow: It sounds like I should have sent Hei sooner. He says,
hearing how Karasu was in a russian prison.
Raven: At least he's respectful. He says, looking at Hei,
remembering her meeting Cinder Fall with Hei for the first time.
