Victor tosses the collar aside. Victor: Some people need more
before their beliefs can be changed, and yer right in yer views.
I've been in their ranks and hacked their systems in this world.
They were startin' to figure out how ta follow through with my
son's Sentinel Project proposal. Thought I killed it when I
killed that normal born anti-super bastard. He gives a soft
chuckle of irony. Victor: Didn't wanna kill 'I'm, but he was
more of a sociopathic killer than me and killed his own adopted
sister fer developin' mutant powers with plans ta kill the rest
of us. Funny thing is I didn't even know I had a son until he
tried ta kill me and his mother first.
Sabbat Karasu was soaking in the hot spring when the alpha of
the local wolf pack comes trotting into the clearing. She can
tell that he's anxious about something by his actions. Karasu:
Okay, I'll follow but give me a moment.

Hei: I have only have one child... A daughter who's been missing
for over 20 years. We don't know if she's dead, alive, or she
just ceased to exist. No one has been able to track her down or
find any trace of her in the multiverse so far. I personally
hope my own personal suspicion is correct, and she's living in
peace on some peaceful world somewhere avoiding our family
because I personally would be happy for her to live her own life
without having to deal with the drama that comes with our
family... But we rarely ever have luck that good when it comes
to our family. He sighs, which sounded weird coming from his
wolf vocal cords (as it sounded more like like a wolf's whine
than a sigh), as he remembers back to when his daughter Kendra
first disappeared, and the frantic search for years he did
trying to find her. That's why my family is so strict about
checking in regularly and why most of our family doesn't travel
alone. It was because when she missed her check-in... That was
the last time anyone saw her, and we all wanted to make sure
that didn't happen to anyone else in the family, especially with
all the enemies we tend to make. I doubt the old man and my
mother mentioned it to Karasu, since they don't like to talk
about it anymore than I do. He explains.

Victor: It almost sounds like I did give Kara a vacation. Can't
say I wasn't half tempted to keep her distracted either, but I
knew that'd be impossible as I've heard rumors 'bout how close
knitt y'alls family is. Victor then grins a bit to Hei and not
in a smug way but in a more friendly manner. Victor: I'll be
honest. I'm surprised that they sent ya alone from what I'm
hearin'. Can't say that I'm not happy 'bout that 'cause I'm sure
things would've been bloodier.
Karasu swims over to the shallow end of the hot spring and takes
her large gray wolf form. She then walks out and shakes until
she's dry. Karasu then changes back and begins to get dressed.
Karasu: Now tell me more slowly what's going on. She says to the
alpha wolf as she kneels down to him and looks him in the eyes
so they can communicate telepathically with her Feral Whisper
discipline. He tells her everything he had seen at the camp
before coming to find her. Karasu then sighs and pats the alpha
wolf on the head as she stands up. Karasu: Great.. surprised
someone didn't find us sooner. I better teleport back instead of
walking like I planned originally.

Hei: I'm starting to think the old man knew about what Karasu
was doing, and sent me specifically because he knew I probably
wouldn't immediately slit your throat... This is too much of a
coincidence to not be planned. Karasu and you running off for a
month while on a mission? It reminds me of when Cinder and I
first got together during a mission for the Order of the Dragon.
He explains. Either the old man wants me to make sure Karasu
doesn't make the same mistakes I made back then... Or he just
wants to remind me that I didn't exactly handle that situation
with any real grace... Or both. He says with a sigh, knowing
that his father found ways to bring up him running off with
Cinder Fall any time he could.

Victor listens to Hei and grins a bit. Victor: May be ya were
sent ta make sure that ain't what Baby Doll and I were doin'.
Our only mission after we met in that Russian superpower
criminal prison was gettin' out. From what she'd told me, the
damn Russkis had 'er fer almost a month 'fore I arrived thanks
to her ex, some human named David Percival. She said she and a
new recruit were checkin' inta some rumors that the Kremlin is
developin' FTL warp engines and new weapons ta use against the
Order when they got bushwhacked. She was nearly starved when I
found 'er locked in a windowless buildin', but that only seemed
ta make 'er more deadly as we fought our way out. I nursed 'er
back ta health afterwards and was surprised when she insisted on
learnin' from and about me. Victor recalls with a reminiscent
smile. Victor: I definitely didn't refuse 'er after what I saw
of her fightin' skills. Don't think either us expected fer
feelin's ta develop, but they did and don't regret it either.
Now the question is how ta go about tellin' yer maw and paw
'bout Karasu and me so they're not tryin' ta kill me. His voice
then turns a bit darker. Victor: Then I can worry 'bout huntin'
down that human sh*t of an ex of 'ers and snap 'is neck.
Karasu finishes getting dressed and then grabs up her buckskin
robe as the alpha wolf runs back towards the camp. She decides
to teleport just to the side of the stone shelter in order to
survey what is going and see if things have gotten bloody as
flames engulf and teleport her.

Hei: I may have beaten you to that... I killed two bases full of
Russian people while trying to track you down. Including freeing
all the prisoners in that Gulag place. It'll be weeks before
they find all the body pieces in the rubble of those places. So
I've at least slowed them down. He explains. While he was
tracking Karasu and Victor, there were some... unfortunate
encounters for the Russians. The best thing you can do when it
comes to the old man and mother is... just be honest. And don't
be an a*s about your decisions to be together. Mother will
probably like you since you seem like the type of person who
isn't afraid to do what you have to in order to survive. But
father will respect you as a warrior, and he'll respect you even
more if you're honest with him.

Victor: So basically be honest without my usual colorful
language and innuendos. Gotcha. Victor says with a relaxed grin.
His nostrils flare a bit as he picks up on Karasu's scent coming
from just outside as a faint breeze waffs it inside but
maintains his relaxed composure. Victor: I'll admit that Karasu
is the only woman who's ever had me willin' ta jump through
these kinda hoops.
Karasu let out a silent sigh of relief when she hears Hei's
voice. Out of the family, she's definitely glad their parents
had sent Hei and so very glad that it wasn't Sabbat Qrow and
Raven. She likes the fact that Hei and Victor seem to be getting
along which she hopes will help when they go home. She then
hears Victor's comment and smiles brightly at what he says about
her affect on him.

Hei: Oh... Definitely do NOT talk about what you and Raven do in
your... moments... like you did with me. It's true we're all
adults, and we understand we're all gonna do what comes natural.
But don't mention it to the old man or to mother unless they
specifically ask if you two are sleeping together or something.
Just a fair warning. Just because they understand you're going
to do that stuff doesn't mean that they want to hear about it.
He says, pretty much warning Victor of something to avoid. You
may think adamantium is going to protect you from them, but they
have... creative methods... to deal with adamantium.

Victor: I can handle bein' respectful. Proven that ta the Yakuza
and Triad years ago. Just my pioneer bastard nature ta push the
boundaries now and then. He says with a chuckle.
Karasu shakes her head at Victor's comment and sighs as she
walks into the shelter. Karasu: Well it's nice to see to I'm not
coming back to a blood bath. She then looks to Hei with a smile
as stops between him and Victor. Karasu: I guess that means mom
and dad must have stayed home since your here, Hei. I hope
Victor wasn't too much of a pain.

Hei: If it had been anyone other than me, it probably would have
been. One way or another... He says sarcastically to Karasu,
knowing that either his mother or father would have probably
hurt Victor, or if it had been a weaker member of the Sabbat,
they would have tried to attack Victor and Victor might have
disemboweled them.
