Eleanor nods her head lightly as she starts going through the
cabinet below to grab the pans M asks for. Once she find them,
she takes them out and place them on the stove. Eleanor: That's
interesting. I'm not a 5 star chef but I'm pretty good to the
point of not giving someone food poisoning. She says as she gets
the lighter to start the stove. Though I guess it's kind of a
forced bad habit due to how I was raised. As she says this,
Eleanor use the lighter to start the stove and set it on medium
heat. M should know about Eleanor's past on how she was
basically raised to kill as a heartless assassin. Her family was
slaughtered by Enoch since she and her family are descendants of
Cain. Sure, her family were assh*les but the lunatic tried to
kill Ellie when she was a infant. If it weren't for Reho, she
wouldn't be here right now.

M: Well now you have another family, and an adopted uncle
willing to show you a couple of things. M grabs out a small
glass and puts about a quarter cup of sugar in it. M then adds
about 2 teaspoons of cinnamon and gently swirls the mixture in
the glass until it's evenly mixed. M: Funny thing is the five
star chef that I knew didn't cook like a chef. He cooked
everything by taste and smell. M says as he takes a gentle sniff
of the cinnamon and sugar mixture, adds a dash more cinnamon,
and swirls a bit more. M: He taught me how to tell what
ingredients needed to be added through those senses. He also
taught me how to grill the perfect steak to foodie's preference.
M then adds a bit of butter to the medium pan which sizzles and
melts. M: He also taught me that when people come running in
because of the smell that you also know that you have the
everything perfect. M then grabs the bacon and hands it to
Eleanor. M: How about we see how your bacon cooking skills are?
Open and add four slices to the large pan. M will then go for
the bread next once Eleanor takes the bacon. M figures that once
the smell of bacon and French toast hits the air that others
will probably start coming in soon.
A strange, fairly attractive blond woman of about 35 years old
comes walking into the kitchen wearing one of Pride's Ragin'
Cajuns football t-shirts (which is overly large on her smaller
frame) and a pair of his sweatpants tied just right to keep them
up. Joyce: Morning, everyone! King said I could get a cup of
coffee while he's in the shower. She says with an overly chipper
smile and attitude.. like 60s/70s sitcom morning person chipper.
Joyce: Where are the cups?

Eleanor quietly takes the bacon and opens it. Like M instructed,
Eleanor place four strips on the frying pan as Joyce walks in.
When she ask for the cups, Eleanor goes to the upper cabinet and
pulls out a clean mug for Joyce after opening it. She then close
back the cabinet.
Eleanor: Good morning, Joyce. I took one out for you.

M just shakes his head a bit as he realizes what Pride did last
night and dips a piece of bread in the egg mix. He then puts the
coated slice on the buttered medium pan and carefully sprinkles
a bit of cinnamon sugar mix on top with his clean hand.
Joyce smiles to Eleanor as she grabs the coffee cup and pours
herself some. Joyce: Thanks, Ellie. She then looks to M in a
sleepy smile way. Joyce: I didn't know that you guys have a
cook. Hi, I'm Joyce.
M:Hi, I'm M and not the cook. Just a good friend who helps out
here and there. M says to Joyce with a smile. M didn't need his
nanites to tell him that Joyce is still a little drunk.
Joyce: Oh that's nice, Emm. I'll tell King that you're here and
cooking breakfast. Joyce says with a sleepy smile and then
walks out of the kitchen.
M: Well.. I think I just had my first "I don't work here" moment
with a partially drunk woman. M says as he preps the next slice
of bread.

Eleanor let out a short exhale through her nose that sounds
similar to a laugh at M's response as she keeps an eye on the
bacon. She did use a nearby clean fork to turn the bacon over
every so often so both sides can be evenly crispy.
Ellie: Well, the bright side is that your cooking skills are
really paying off to the point of someone mistaking you as a
professional chef.

Eleanor's comment manages to get a laugh from M as he places the
next piece of French toast on the large pan. M: You've got a
good point there, but just don't tell Peggy that because she'll
tease me for a week. M says as he as uses his electrokinesis to
clean and sanitize his fingers that's covered in egg mixture. M
then grabs a spatula so he can flip the French toast when it's
ready to be flipped. M: Or worse, she might actually make me
cook for her instead of me just ordering out for us.

Eleanor: I promise I won't say anything.
As she says this, she makes sure that the bacon is doing alright
along with making sure that she avoids any hot grease popping
out and hitting her, even if it's minor.
Eleanor: So, is this just a uncle and nephew kind of hanging out
or is this something that you want to bring me or Caleb along?
Although not actually assuming, she is asking so she can look
out for the two guys and make sure that they don't get chewed
out by Pride.

M flips the French toast as Eleanor speaks. M had been
contemplating on whether Caleb and Eleanor should join Theo and
him. Igor isn't why he's considering either. M: Well, I didn't
think you would be interested in going to a baseball training
game. Plus, I figured Theo could use a day out after a rough
night's sleep when I saw him this, and I wasn't sure how you'd
feel about baseball. M hopes to God that Eleanor hasn't learned
his question skirting techniques from Peggy or Pride. Though he
has to admit that having Eleanor and Caleb there at least on the
down low just in case things go south.
[B]J.A.R.V.I.S. does display his two cents worth on M's internal
optical HUD[/b] J.A.R.V.I.S.: "I suggest some form of back up
with anything involving Darkov, sir. Just in case, I have the
MHV200 ready for Miss Eleanor and Master Caleb with nanite
disguise systems ready for dispatch should you change your
mind."
M silently thanks J.A.R.V.I.S. as he readies a plate for the
French toast. M: Talking about Caleb. I'm surprised that I
haven't seen him yet.
Pride finished his shower and getting dressed as Joyce walks
back into his room with a cup of coffee. Joyce: When did you get
a part time cook who's also a maintenance man?
Pride: I didn't. Pride looks at Joyce with a curious look.
Joyce: Then who's the M fellow? Joyce says as she takes another
sip of coffee.
Pride: Oh.. he's a friend of mine and the team, and one that I
wasn't this morning. Pride says as he walks up to Joyce and
gives her a kiss on the cheek. Pride: So since you forgot to
grab me a cup of coffee, I'll just go see what's going on with M
while I get a cup. He says as he walks past Joyce and out the
bedroom door. Pride: The shower is all yours, sweets.

Eleanor: I used to play cricket back home when I was younger.
Then tried baseball when I was in college. I'm not too into it
and it has been a while but I think I know the basics. That and
I'm a bit rusty...
Eleanor admits the last part with a hint of embarrassment as
flips the bacon over again. Once the bacon seems crispy enough,
she turns the knob to lower the flames so they won't overcook.
When M mentioned Caleb, she hiss out a curse word to herself.
Eleanor: Crap, I forgot. Last night was the full moon. So he's
probably still resting.
The SCIS team and their allies like M would know that as a human
mutant with false lycanthropy powers, Caleb has to transform at
least once during a full moon or else they will go feral. Caleb
is fully in control of his powers and knows who to avoid and
what to hunt. Though he usually plays superhero whenever he gets
the chance. Like a Super Wolfman in Theo's terms.

M: Ah. Now that explains why Caleb hasn't crawled out of bed. M
says as he flips the French toast on the pan to make sure that
both sides are ready. He then puts the first slices on the plate
he has ready. He then covers two more slices of bread with mix
and puts them on the pan. M: Well he'll just get whatever is
left over after he wakes up.
Pride walks into the kitchen with a look of suspicion in his
eyes and a curious smile. Pride: So according to Joyce, you're
apparently my new cook. He says as he grabs a coffee cup and
pours himself a cup.
M: At least that's better than being that "creepy guy" at the
end of the bar like Meghan said about me. M says with a joking
tone to Pride.
Pride: True. Pride takes a sip of his coffee. Pride: Jokes
aside, Mike. What brings you here this early?
M: I'm figured that Theo and I could go and watch the first day
of spring training baseball.
Pride had already heard reports about Darkov's escape from
United States custody and back to causing trouble in the crime
world. Pride also knows that there's a particular confidential
informant that would more than likely attend a spring training
game as the Russian loves American baseball. Pride: Uh-huh.. I
didn't know that you like baseball. Pride takes a sip of his
coffee.
M: I like the girls who show up to baseball games more than the
actual sport. M keeps his focus on the French toast so he can
hopefully keep Pride from seeing his tells.
Pride takes another sip of his coffee. Pride: That I believe.
Well have fun and behave. Pride knows that M is skirting the
truth as he's known M for too long and has learned a few tells.
Pride then turns and walks out of the kitchen. Pride: Just take
Ellie and Caleb with you to make sure you and Theo stay out of
trouble. Pride calls out as he goes to see who all is awake and
moving around. This was his way of telling M that he knows that
M is up to something.
M: You'd swear he thinks I'm up to something.
