On that note, Integra goes back to her desk since she knows that
Jon can leave if he wishes. Meanwhile, Zoe remains by Zaz,
unsure on where to start on what to ask him.

spirit powers?

Zaz: My dad was a spirit user as well. From birth, I had my
mother's hollow power, and from a young age I had to start
training in order to control my spirit energy. I've been using
spirit energy about as long as I can remember at this point
because it's been necessary. Dark spirits and hollows have come
after me in the past, so controlling my spirit was as important
as finding a way to control my hollow power.

Zoe: Oh. A witch attacked my mom when I was still inside of her
with some spell. When my mom found out that she had me, she and
my dad along with some friends and family tried everything to
save both me and her. The spell was suppose to kill me but it
didn't. Instead, I ended up being able to see and talk to
spirits. I befriended a few good ones while I run away from the
bad ones.

Zaz: I didn't really talk to spirits that much. The only spirit
I talked to was my hollow half. While my full name, Azazel, is
an angel of darkness, we called my hollow side Azrael after the
angel of death. And where people called me Zaz, they called him
Az. We were pretty close... Until the day when his spirit got
too strong and I had to suppress him.

Zoe: That's pretty sad. Normally when I hear hollow halves,
they're usually scary and violent but yours sound pretty cool.
