Christmas Party at Shadow Plantation

Christmas has become a holiday that Anna has come to enjoy since
living on Earth with friends like Raven, Laura, and Danae
helping her to understand the meaning to Delsin's childlike
enthusiasm for the whole time of a year. Anna hadn't thrown many
parties within the halls of her New Orleans plantation
especially after losing Delsin, but she's decided that this year
she would throw a party and try to bring Christmas back to the
old place. Anna had been decorating and plan like mad for weeks
to make sure that this Christmas party would be as perfect. She
also decided that it would also be a party for adults and teens.
She thought it would be nice for Future Donny to make some
friends and get a chance to be a real kid for once. Luckily, she
made sure that M and Peggy's invitation specifically said to
bring Theo, Caleb, Illias, and Willow since they're all about
Donny's age and because Pride couldn't make it. She also thought
it would be nice for Keirran to get a chance to be a bit more..
sociable now that he's on Earth. Of course, she invited Danae
and Drake along with Hei, Alice, Kendrix, and Charlie. Raven
said she and Alucard would try to stop by, but with three
theaters all having parties as well, there couldn't be any
promises.
Anna was finishing double checking all of the preparations of
appetizers, finger food, and beverages. The plantation's ghosts
all scurry about here and there as they make sure that all is
clean, set, and secured. One ghost even polishes the ballroom's
chandeliers and lights them up. Anna: Okay, I can handle this.
TenTen has the little for one night in his caretaker's house.
The food and beverages are ready, and everything is clean. I
think we're ready everyone.. Anna looks at the clock and sees
that guests should start arriving. Anna: ..and just in the nick
of time. Abram, can you get the music going? She asks one ghost
who starts up the stereo with Christmas music. Anna: Showtime,
everyone. She calls out to the house ghosts who take their
places as she walks to the bottom of the stairs and calls up to
Future Donny. Anna: Donny, our party guests are about to arrive
so get down here as soon as possible. Keirran, are you ready?
She calls for Keirran as she walks to the front door and opens
it up to make the old two story house more welcoming.
M actually went and rented a minivan so he could transport
Peggy, himself, and the kids. He drives the minivan slowly up
the long driveway to Shadow Plantation's front parking area that
Anna had set up for the party. M: Do you know how domestic I
feel right now driving this thing, Peggy?

Future Donny slides down the stair's railing, and heads to meet
up with Anna.
Alathen Kazara was with Kierran, mostly hanging out with Kierran
since he and Kierran had become friends. Alathen wasn't good at
socializing, but he figured it would be good to come since
Kierran had asked him to. Alathen was one of the few friends
Kierran had made since coming to the living world. Alathen
mostly just waits on Kierran.

Peggy: I can imagine. I mean we do look absolutely domestic, Mi.
I’m sure half the city thought we were parents taking our rowdy
teenage kids somewhere. She reaches over to settle a hand on his
car seat as she twists herself around to look at the group in
the backseat. You’re all old enough to know better, but please
be on your best behavior. Anne has had a rough go of it, and
this is her first time having guests over since Delsin passed,
so please for the love of Queen and country no shenanigans and
f*ckery. Oh M’s got me cursing now.

Theo was looking out the window with earbuds in his ears as M
drives him and the others to Anna's party. This is his first
actual party that didn't have Pride hosting it. Plus, he could
use this after what happened two months ago. Ellie couldn't come
due to something personal she need to take care of but did
promise to join the party when she has free time. Theo and Caleb
are wearing their normal punk attire though it looks more
Christmas with Caleb wearing a skull sweater with a Santa hat on
and Theo wearing a rock and roll type snowman shirt. When Theo
notice the driveway, he pulled out one of his earbuds and pause
his music. He gently nudge Caleb who was sleeping next to him.
His eyes flutter open along with a long stretch. The boys listen
to Peggy telling them to behave which made Caleb lightly nod his
head in agreement.
Caleb: Got it.
Theo: Aye aye. Though come on now, we're not cavemen.

Kierran silently walks out of the room he was in. He wasn't much
for socializing, probably partly why he and Alathen got along so
well. Kierran wasn't wearing his Assassin Zero armor, and was
just wearing a hooded black cloak. He goes to join Anna, though
he wasn't sure how he was going to talk to the people coming to
the party due to him being socially awkward.

Anna smiles as she sees the minivan pulling up the driveway and
recognizes M and Peggy in the van. She knows that this will be
awkward for Keirran and Alathen, but she also knows that M isn't
too sociable himself in certain settings so will probably be a
bit out of his element.. either the bars (mostly Laura's bar) or
his workshop. Anna is wearing a strapless Mrs. Claus dress with
snowflake stockings and red high heel pumps. Anna hears Donny
slide down the stairs railing and turns to see him and Keirran.
She smiles to Donny but shakes her head softly at Keirran. Anna:
Now Donny looks good and festive, but what's with the hooded
cloak, Keirran? Anna walks over to table next to the door and
grabs up a Santa hat. She then walks over to Keirran, pushes the
hood back, and places the Santa hat on top of his head. Anna:
That's a little better. She says with a smile as she steps back
to see how Keirran looks. Anna: I know this might be awkward for
you and Alathen, but you two won't be the only ones. My old
friend, M, will be out of his element too. So look at this as a
learning experience in what Earth holiday traditions are like.
Plus Donny, Kendrix, and Charlie could use a chance to meet some
people their own age and.. well just be kids, and with what
Delsin and M did to this place in the past, that won't be too
hard.
In the minivan:
Willow leans in her seat to look at Theo with a smile. Willow is
wearing just a pair of jeans, nice sneakers, and light blue
sweater with snowflakes all over it. Willow: You mean "complete
cavemen". Get in front of that video game with Caleb and M, and
you three turn into vampires after 4 hours. She then giggles
softly and sits back in her seat. Willow: Don't worry, Ms.
Carter. I think I keep an eye on the guys.
Illias let Theo and Caleb help him pick out clothes which
resulted in Illias wearing a Santa Jack Skeleton with a haunted
Christmas tree sweatshirt and a pair of black pants. He had been
sitting quietly with his usual blank face.
M wasn't going to make a retort to Peggy's comment about him
rubbing off on her. He finds it fair for her rubbing off on him.
M is wearing a Christmas bowler shirt (see picture below), blue
jeans, and dress boots. M: Listen, Peggy. It's probably better
just to ask that they don't break a leg. That place is a teenage
boy's dream come true after what Delsin and I did to it.He says
as he pulls the minivan off to the side of the large plantation
manor and parks it. M: Of course, Delsin was a bit of an
overgrown teenager. I guess that's why we got along so well. M
puts the van in park and unbelts himself as he opens his door.
M: Here are. Shadow Plantation, one of the most haunted
plantation manors in the area, but the ghosts are nice as long
as you respect them.
At Laura's house:
Laura checks her make up and Christmas elf dress one more time
in the mirror. She then turns and calls out to Qrow as she walks
out of the bedroom. Laura: You be ready ta go ta Anna's party,
mon amour?
At Black Sun:
Charlie finishes up her hair and adds a pair of spider with
Santa hat earrings. She found a cute red and green short skirt
dress for the party tonight. She then skips out of the bathroom
and up to Kendrix with a big smile. She does a slow spin in
front of him. Charlie: What do you think? Is it too much for the
party?

Alathen shrugs. Alathen: I've been around since early man... I
know how their holidays work. That doesn't make this any less
awkward though. He says as he watches Anna put a hat on Kierran.
Donny just laughs at Anna putting the hat on Kierran. Donny:
That is the funniest thing I've seen in a while. He says
jokingly.
Qrow had come out wearing his usual fairly casual clothes as
goes over to Laura. He had three bottles of whiskey in his hand.
One Jack Daniels Tennessee Fire was his, and the other two was
for other guests at the party which included a Evan Williams
Apple (which Kindron tended to enjoy), and an Evan Williams Fire
(which was basically just the Evan Williams version of Tennessee
Fire and Fireball.). Qrow: I'm ready.
Seeing Charlie in such a cute outfit overwhelmed Kendrix as he
just lets out a small gasp and nosebleeds anime-style at seeing
Charlie in such a cute outfit. He gives her a thumbs up.
Kendrix: I think you're good. He says with a squeaky voice.

Peggy: I know that Theo, and much appreciated Willow. These men
do tend to keep us on our toes. She unbuckles and gathers up her
purse before she steps out. Peggy never quite adapted to modern
fashion, so she really looks like she stepped out of a 40s
Sear’s Christmas catalog today. She picked a nice crème dress
with little holly flowers on it. She paired it with red heels
and coat since it is getting colder out. I suppose I just want
them to be safe and not cause Anne any stress. I’m not saying be
a grouch and a spoil sport. A woman can be concerned about..well
I might as well call them my kids.
With Danae
Sirius rushes down the stairs of his home where the group had
agreed to meet. He seems to be looking for something. Sirius:
Aye, Danae, Moony, have either of you seen my coat? I seemed to
have misplaced it.
Remus: Padfoot, you’re constantly losing something in this
bloody house. You know warming charms. You don’t need a coat.
Besides we’re already five minutes behind schedule from your
hair care routine. I swear Danae gets ready faster than you do.
Sirius: You can’t rush perfection. Speaking of which, are you
dragging Connor and Marie along to this gathering as well?

Theo and Caleb unbuckle their seat belts and start getting out
of the van. Theo open the door and got out first with Caleb
behind him. They patiently wait for the others to get out the
van once they're fully out of the vehicle.
Danae was already ready to go. She was wearing dress pants and a
red and green plaid shirt along with dress shoes. Although this
is suppose to be a time of celebration, she doesn't feel very
festive like she normally does. Maybe it's the stress. With a
small sigh, Danae puts on a neutral face and grabs her winter
coat from her closet... which is right next to Sirius' winter
coat. Of course. This puts a small smile on her face along with
overhearing the conversation Remus and Sirius are having. Danae
puts on her winter coat and grabs Sirius' coat. She neatly fold
it over her arm and strides out of the room toward the two men.
Danae: I have your coat, Sirius. Still not sure if you leaving
your belongings with mine is a good thing or not. She says
teasingly

It was hard to tell what Kierran was thinking when Anna puts a
santa hat on him due to his Seiji body. He probably should have
expected Anna to do something like this, but he just sighs and
sits down. He glares at Donny for a moment as he laughs at
Kierran, then looks over at Anna. Kierran: One of the most
deadly death wraiths and assassins ever... And here I am in a
santa hat. He says sarcastically.
