Kyla: barely manage to balance herself as she walk over to the
others. Easy, mom. Just let Gramps explain everything.

Kendrix takes a moment to absorb all the information that had
been given so far about this other world, and about everything
that had been said (mostly so he can review the situation to
himself later). When Deirdre comes, he stays silent, not sure
what he should say. However, he figures staying silent for the
moment would be wise when Kyla mentions that her grandfather
would explain things. After hearing about what had happened, he
had a few suspicions about Deirdre that made him a bit
suspicious that she might know more than she had initially told
him. However, Kendrix didn't want to just blurt anything out,
since this wasn't his family to intervene in (since he had
respect for Barbas and didn't want to ruin his family).

Barbas: Dee, I’m fine. Stop fussing like I’m a toddler. I’d
didn’t raise you to worry so easily. I’m fine even if I’ve
hardly been back for an hour now. He takes a sip of his drink,
and gently waves her off and out of his bubble of space.
Deirdre: Right. She drags her hands across the front of her
pants. She seems frazzled but whether that’s from worry is hard
to tell. I just didn’t expect to ever see you again. I’m shocked
       is all.
Barbas: And why is it that you didn’t expect that? I assume you
know what happened that night given you told Kendrix I was dead.
Deirdre: I told him what I knew. I came home and you were gone.
Only technically was she lying. It was more of a white lie than
anything. He had been “gone” in the fact that he was unconscious
when she arrived. I waited a couple of days for you to show back
up and nothing. Nobody else had heard from you either. I assumed
       the worst.

Kendrix: Hold on... Are we talking gone as in "he left" or gone
as in "dead"? I want to understand what happened, but I am
starting to feel like I missed something. I was pretty sure you
made it sound like he was dead. But if he was dead, then there
should have been a body, right? But obviously there wasn't if he
is here, alive? He asks Deidre. Though he didn't suspect Deidre
of lying yet, it was obvious he was starting to suspect
something about Deidre's account of what happened might have
been a bit suspicious. Kendrix didn't say anything yet, as he
didn't want to jump to conclusions. However, his two ideas right
now were that either Deidre's story was starting to seem
suspicious, or something else happened that night that maybe
Deidre might not have been aware of. Even though Deidre was
lying, Kendrix didn't seem to put two and two together yet, as
he didn't know Deidre that well, especially not well enough to
       tell when she was lying.

Deirdre peers between the other three in the room. She’s reached
out and gripped onto the nearest surface to her, knuckles white,
anxiety and shockingly fear radiating off her in waves. Deirdre:
Both. Gone as in both. Well not left but missing. And no body
not when I figured him dead. You have to understand it was so
uncharacteristic for him not to come home like that. He’d always
come back within a day or two and when he didn’t I assumed…
       Barbas: You assumed what?
Deirdre: I assumed she killed you. And it’s with that statement
that she breaks. Her shoulders seems to sag under the weight of
finally telling this secret. Her words spilling out in a rushed
mess. She called herself Abaddon. I came home that night and she
was here and you were gone. A body with no signs of life from
where I was standing. She told me she was taking you and told me
I could let her or she would make me let her. She specifically
looks at Kendrix here. And you have to understand I love my
father. I’d do just about anything for him, but this woman
radiated power and reeked of death. I’m not strong like you. I’m
very low on hell’s totem poll. I would’ve been snuffed out like
a candle. So I let her go under threats of death. And when she
threatened my silence I kept that secret too. And when the days
kept ticking by with no return it was only fair to assume he
       wasn’t coming back.

Kyla: Wait a damn minute... Abaddon?! I thought the Winchesters
killed her! You're telling me that Angry Ginger Sl*t of a dead
roach is alive and caused all of this?!

Kendrix turns to Kyla. Kendrix: Yeah, Abaddon was dead... But
the The'Galin brought her back along with the demon princes. And
like the others, she was upgraded when she was brought back. Her
upgrade was grim reaper power which combined with her hell
knight abilities. But what would she want with Barbas? That's
what I don't understand. Kendrix turns back to Deidre and walks
up to her. Kendrix: I believe you this time... But something is
off. Not with your story, but with the whole situation. I'm
going to read your memories directly, because I just want to see
if I can pull anything else that might help us understand what's
happening. I won't hurt you or anything, just copy your memories
and self. He says as he raises his hand to her forehead. He gets
ready to use his Zygon copy powers combined with his Darkfire
mental training to copy Deidre so he could copy her memories
which he would be able to use once he put his index finger to
       her forehead.

Deirdre hates people in her head, but she tamps down that
feeling to let him take what he needs. He gets the memories of
that evening. He sees the tall imposing archangel taking court
in the very kitchen they stand next to. She’s definitely not
ginger and nothing like what he knows of Abbadon. He hears her
threats and demands. He sees some of Barbas unmoving and
unconscious. He views her exit through the portal into the void
with no resistance. Memories contain feels too though so he also
gets Deirdre’s panic. The sharp stab of fear, something unusual
for her all things considered. He gets her heartache at the loss
of her father and he gets her brief burst of thought as she
chooses to stand aside. I can’t help if I’m dead

Kyla: Great. I forgot this world has that problem still. She
groans more to herself. She remains silent as Kendrix does his
       thing.
