Kendrix: Well... Honestly, I think Barbas should be able to
spend time with his family. I don't want to get in the way of

Barbas: No. Stay, the both of you. You’re both part of my tiny
hodge podge family as any one else. It’s really just you two and
Deirdre maybe that man of hers. He moves to the still well
stocked bar shelf behind the counter. Speaking of her..she may
know something. I assume it was her that passed along the news?
Not many other people have a key to the place.

Kyla nod as she use her magic to create a shadow squirrel in her
hands. Once formed, she starts whispering a few things to it.
She then set the squirrel down as it begins to run off in the
shadows to go find Deidre.

Barbas pulls a face, attempting to remember any small details.
Barbas: I don’t remember much. She kept me shut away in pure
hellish oblivion when I wasn’t being used. I do remember that
she mentioned once that the only reason she needed me was
because my counterpart in her own world was trapped. Something
that seemed to frustrate her. I think she’s cut off from a lot
if I’m honest…I think that they all are. He sighs briefly. I
also know based off the little she allowed me to glean from her,
she’s working with someone neither you or I want any association
with. I fear few things and he is one of them.

Although Kyla was eavesdropping, she remain silent as the shadow
squirrel continue to go get Deirdre. When it got there, it
scurries toward Deirdre and try getting her attention by
squeaking loudly to her.

Kendrix: Well... That sounds ominous. It wouldn't happen to be
someone from Xeles's realm would it? That's usually what a lot
of people say when they describe people from that realm.
Whenever anyone talks about Xeles or Phantom, all I ever hear is
"I don't fear much, but I fear those monsters" or something like
that. We've had a lot of stuff going on with dark spirits and
the Shadow Realm as of late.
