RP London Story: Dead End

Danae Levesque hasn't been in the US or England for a while ever
since she left England around the time the alliance with the
Werewolf Alchemists and the Vampires that Hellsing made. Well,
that wasn't entirely true. Danae did go to New Orleans to go
speak with the Supreme Witch there since the Salem Witches are
also giving them problems. After lending a hand, she got word on
activity going on in Brazil, which Danae immediately head down
there to handle. But not before asking those like Adonia and
Jimmy Bones to help the witches however they can while she's
gone. She has been occasionally been sending letters to mainly
her half sister Alice or to Hei about how she's doing which she
keeps short and simple. She also let them know that she has
everything under control and to tell them to stay safe along to
let her know if Amalia tries anything in England or the US.
Unfortunately, the letters has stopped this week. And what
happened last week was an event that Danae went through that she
never want to go through again.
It was late in the afternoon when Danae was walking down the
streets of Brazil. She got word from spirits before they were
taken in by a death wraith that there's supposed to be a gang
meeting going on in fifteen minutes at an abandoned meat
factory. The meeting isn't what's bothering Danae. It's who's
going to be at the meeting. She couldn't believe it. She
remembered killing the bastard long ago for what he has done to
her friends. If she hadn't been so narrow minded... if she had
listened to her friends Kabir, Huey and Shantel, they would
still be alive right now and Danae would have never activated
her powers that she gained from her father.
Flashback:
It was in the late 1980s when Danae was hanging around in Brazil
with her cousin, Valentino Batista. With Danae's help,
Valentino's criminal organization has been booming along with
using humanity's sins to their advantage. Valentino gets the
money and Danae gets to have her fun along with helping those in
need. Danae even befriended a Afro-Brazilian woman who she
helped escaped from police for a crime she didn't even commit.
But the longer Danae stayed with Valentino, the worse things
got. At first, things started simple such as larceny increasing
and lottering in certain private areas. But then riots started
to happen left and right along with random kidnappings and
murders which started to occur when Kabir and Huey came to visit
Danae. Both Kabir and Huey didn't trust Valentino but they grew
fond of Shantel. Despite their pleas, Danae refuse to listen to
them and even went as far as saying that what Valentino is doing
is benefitting their kind and it's not his fault that humans are
animals.
One day, that all changed when Danae went out one night to run
an errand for Valentino. When she got to the location, she
witnessed a few thugs mercilessly beating two people to death
while a child scream for them to stop. When one of them went to
go grab the child, Danae intervened and stopped the thugs, only
to find out in her horror that the thugs were a part of
Valentino's gangs. When asked what they were doing, the thugs
tried to justify their actions by saying that the innocent human
family deserved what was coming to them for not following
Valentino's demands. Not wanting to hear it, Danae marched over
to one of the thugs and forcibly read their minds, only to find
out that Valentino trying to get the father to either pay their
debt by kidnapping other people or have his child taken away.
Enraged, Danae use her voodoo powers to blast the thugs out of
the window, critically injuring them. Without a word, Danae runs
out of the building and back to the hideout. When she got there,
she immediately was hit by the stench of blood and death, due to
many bodies of police and criminals littering around. She then
heard the blood curling sound of a woman screaming, forcing
Danae to run towards it, only to see Shantel bruised up and
chained. She also noticed Huey and Kabir lying on the ground
badly beaten. Danae tries to intervene but is zapped by Hell's
Cage Static Energy thanks to Valentino. Danae can only scream as
she falls to the ground, unable to move due to the pain she's
in.
Valentino: I really wished that it didn't have to come to this.
I really did like working with you, Dana.
Danae: through gritted teeth Why?
Valentino: shrugs Why not? We have the power to do whatever we
want. If people tries to screw with us, then they should be
punished by any means. People love parading morals around like
it's the god damn Bible... which is also worthless by the way...
even though they're no better than any other sinner on Earth.
Humans especially. But the problem is that they fail to see the
fault in themselves. I'm just exploiting it for my own gain.
Doesn't help that your friends got sucked into the brainwashed
words as well.
Danae: Let them go!
Valentino: clacks his tongue Yeah, no can do. They needed to
learn what happens when they try to pull stupid crap like this.
I would let them off with a warning but after what you did to my
men, I have to do something a bit more... extreme to teach both
you and them a lesson. smiles slightly Don't worry, you may be
mad now but one day, you'll understand why I did what I did. Who
knows? Maybe you'll see things my way.
Danae: Go to Hell!
Valentino just sighs as she walks over to Danae and knocks her
out with a nearby fire extinguisher. That was the beginning of
Valentino's cruelty. After helplessly watching Huey and Kabir
suffered a painful death and Shantel being sold as a sex slave
to a Lasombra Vampire, Danae changed. But not to Valentino's
benefit. Through Danae's sobs and apology, something inside of
her snapped. As if something that was hidden and sealed inside
of her broke free and took over. That was the day that Danae's
fallen angel powers has awaken... and the day she has shown why
children of Lucifer should be feared.
Present:
Danae manage to head inside in the form of a crow. Once inside,
the first thing she sees is a bunch of death bodies. She swoop
down and change back to her human form as she begin to examine
one of the bodies that belongs to Valentno's group. The victim's
eyes was bloodshot red as if he was choking on something.
Danae: I've seen something like this before. Looks like he was
choked out by something air related. Damn! It also means that my
lead hit a dead end again. Can't catch a blasted break, can I?
That was when she heard something behind her. Danae barely
dodged a machete that was thrown at her skull. When she turned
around, she ran after the figure, only to lose him when she made
it out of the building. Swearing in Creole French, Danae storms
off in irritation before taking the form of a crow and flying
away from the factory. Another crappy day for Danae. Her leads
just keeps getting colder along with her not even getting as
near as close to Valentino. Not to mention her past came back to
haunt her. He's getting help. She's certain of this. But she
needs to find out who and fast before it's too late. Not to
mention finding out who the hell killed those thugs and ruined
her lead. Whoever did it must have some sort of vendetta against
them. Question is why specifically and can this person be an
ally or another possible pain in her ass for Danae?
