Alysa sighs a bit as she takes note of Donavon's glassy, red
eyes and realizes that he's stoned. Just what she didn't
need. A stoner hitting on her in front of her older brother.
This would only lead to teasing later on. Alysa: If you're
friends are correct about us being dimensional alternates here,
then yes, we're definitely not from around here. By the way,
tall and brash behind me is my older brother. She says as she
puts her gun away after seeing Kendrix's crimson fire burn
the zombie to ashes.
Anna looks to Kialo who is now in shock to see someone else
using crimson energy and fire just like his dad. Anna: Young
man, do you plan to do something with rotting Rover in your
hand?
Kialo shakes his head for a moment but doesn't look at the
zombie werewolf. Kialo: Oh yeah.. no ley line storm. His left
hand lights up in pure crimson fire (his being natural with no
need to combine fire with crimson energy but still achieves the
same effects as Kendrix) which engulfs the zombie werewolf and
burns it to ashes. He does this without looking away from
Kendrix. Kialo can tell the difference between the two crimson
fires in terms that his feels natural to his senses just like
his white fire while Kendrix's crimson fire feels created
from two different energies. Kialo: I thought that my Dad was
the only one who makes crimson fire that way.

Donny turns to Kailo. Donny: Oh hey dude... Didn't see you
there. He says as he waves to Kailo.
Kendrix: Don't tell me... He says with a sigh. You're
kids of your universe's Kendrix Darkfire I'm assuming?
Assuming you're using my specialty, which is my own unique
energy... Either that or you guys are descended from me or
something.
Hei just stays silent, deactivating his holy lightning since it
didn't seem like it was needed currently.

Kialo blindly waves towards Donavon as his main focus is on
figuring out if they've travelled back in time or to a different
dimension. Kialo: Hi... His lack of attention to Alysa's plight
makes her roll her eyes. Kialo looks to Hei and sees that he
looks exactly like his grandfather, but Kendrix seems different
than childhood portraits that Kialo has seen. Kialo: Well we can
figure this mess out simply. Kialo usually hates throwing around
the titles of his family, but years of having to deal with more
proper occasions have taught him that sometimes it's necessary.
He does try to hide his discomfort though as he speaks. Kialo:
My father is Imperial Crowned Prince Kendrix Darkfire of
Imperial United Asia, heir to the throne, and husband to Dr.
Clarice Jekyll-Darkfire, Duchess of Tokyo. My grandfather is
Emperor Hei Darkfire while my great grandfather, Qrow Darkfire,
is retired to a Shaolin monastery. He takes a bit of a breath
and resumes. Kialo: I am Prince Kialo Edward Darkfire I, Duke of
Beijing.. He thumb points to Alysa. Kialo: ..and she's Princess
Alysa Katsumi Darkfire, Duchess of Fujian. His tone takes a bit
more of a curious tone. Kialo: It was the 2021 when we left if
we went backwards in time. If not, then damn, I'm in worse
trouble when and if we get home. Kialo then gets a bit of a
cocky tone. Kialo: Oh what you call a specialty, I call an
innate ability that I suddenly developed by the age of 2 causing
my playpen to burn to the ground in order to get to the cookie
jar.
Alysa might not have been happy with how Kialo helped her with
Donavon, but she takes advantage of what distraction that she
gets. Alysa turns towards Hei and Kendrix with a raised eyebrow
now the Donavon said hello to Kialo. Mentally she's surprised by
how Kialo is handling the conversation.. until he gets cocky at
the end. This is why she usually handles serious conversations,
she thinks to herself with a sigh.
Anna looks to Future Donavon while trying to ignore
Shadowstalker. Anna: Donny, if I tell you where I put my stash
of prerolled joints, would you back down the Don Juan moves a
notch?
Shadowstalker puts the pieces together as she listens within
Anna's mind and starts laughing. Kendrix would probably tell her
to shut up if he could hear her. Shadowstalker: "Hahaha! Their
Qrow has accomplished a portion of what Ken's been wanting for a
long time. Even better, their Kendrix is an adult! Now if their
Kendrix is taller than ours, I'll about die laughing."

Hei: You're definitely in another universe. We're pretty used to
random people appearing out of nowhere at this point. It's
happened more times than anyone here wants to admit. Our family
doesn't rule our world... Yet.
Kendrix: My crimson energy is a result of my heritage... My
mother is the daughter of Lucifer with Lucifer and Michael's
powers. I always suspected my crimson energy was a result of my
father's Red Lantern energy combining instinctively with my
angel and demon energy combination to create a unique energy.
According to what my alternate timeline sister says, she says
I'll eventually have a son that is born with the energy, but
instead of using the crimson energy, his instinctive use of it
is crimson shadows that he combines my crimson energy with his
ability to manipulate darkness. Of course... I come from a
timeline when an amplified Alucard was turning entire cities
into glass floors, the scarlet mist was turning anyone left into
monsters, and anyone who survived that was living underground...
My energy sorta just popped up while Donny and I were just
constantly fighting for our lives in my time. Depressing, I
know...
Taking the hint, Donny backs off, being surprisingly polite
about it. Donny: Sorry... Didn't mean to make you uncomfortable
or anything. He says politely to Alysa. He goes and finds a spot
to sit down. One thing that his father taught him was to respect
women, and that was perhaps one thing that meant more to him
than his blunts. However, thinking about his father seemed to
depress him as he goes back to smoking given some things that
had happened recently.

Kialo gets a thoughtful look as he takes everything in that he's
being told and pulls out a cigarette case. He then opens it,
pulls out a joint, and then lights it with a bit of crimson fire
on his finger as Kendrix talks. He then puts out the flame as he
takes a hit as he speaks to Hei. Kialo: So basically the
Darkfire clan is like any other Joe Blow family and don't have
to worry about helping protect the world from the evil
Drăculești family. That I could live with. He says
with a smile as he exhales. He then looks to Kendrix. Kialo: Our
Pop's powers work the same ways and our younger sister developed
crimson shadows in a similar fashion. Mom could only figure that
I came up with crimson fire because of her Jekyll/Hyde genes.
I'm one of two out of five of your alternate kids who didn't
inherit our Mom's Hyde side so powerful elements like the
crimson fire seem to have taken that place. He takes another
quick puff. Kialo: Sucks that your original timeline was that
bad, Daddy-o, but it sounds a whole lot more exciting than the
years of training that my Pop did after he killed and consumed
Dragon King Dracula in our world.
Alysa can't help but watch Donavon which soon pulls at her heart
strings. She's always done her best to remain proper, polite,
and cold towards men in order to protect them from her Hyde
side, Hinomegami, but she's actually good natured and friendly.
Hinomegami has always been extremely temperamental about men and
has almost killed the last three boys that she tried dating. She
looks to Donavon and gives him a friendly smile. Alysa: It's
okay. I'm sorry as well that I'm a bit cold, Donavon, but it's
for your protection more than discomfort. I have a very.. nasty
other side.. a Hyde side.
Anna can tell that Donavon had started thinking about Delsin
again and motherly instincts kick in. She walks over to her bag,
pulls out her metal cigarette case that says Doobie Snacks, and
takes it over to Donavon.

Kendrix: Well, we are still a major crime organization in
London, and gaining worldwide influence... Thanks to my father
now owning the League of Assassins, and having criminal ties
with the Chinese Mafia and the Bratva. He says with a shrug.
Donny: No, mom... I'm good. We can share one later though. He
says in response to Anna. After hearing Alysa's statement about
her dual personality, he jumps up excitedly. Well... Another
side of yourself I can handle. Trust me... My mom's the QUEEN of
dual personalities. I'm sure her other personality will have
your other one beat... So I can handle that. He says jokingly.
Though it looked like he was still trying to hit on her, it was
obvious he was trying to make Alysa forget that he was upset
since he saw how his expression seemed to bother her. If she
thought he was a jerk for literally jumping at an opportunity,
it was better in Donny's eyes than her feeling sorry for him.

Kialo: Crime organization is still not royalty with royal
duties. No stuffy royal functions dressed in overly fancy
military uniforms that are so starched that you have to walk and
dance like a toy soldier. No worrying about being set up with
some stuffy, snobby prima donna noble woman because that's what
noble families do. No publicized political meetings. Kialo gets
a more thoughtful look as he speaks. Kialo: You guys can be like
normal business people, go to bars without worrying about
paparazzi, and basically free to do whatever without public
scrutiny. Do you know how many airheaded, shallow women I've
dated just because they were some duke's or politician's
daughter that my mom set me up with? I swear I know more about
the lives of the Kardashians and how seasonal fashion works than
a man should know. Kialo says to Kendrix with a jocular yet
serious tone. More and more, Kialo is actually starting to like
this universe and the position in it that this Darkfire clan
has. He actually thinks about how this problem will be more of a
vacation than actual emergency "how do we get home" situation.
This quickly leads to the thought about how how much fun he'll
have and how long he can delay returning home.
Alysa rolls her eyes a bit but does give a soft smile to Donny
as he jumps back up and over to her. She doesn't show too many
emotions, but even she had to admit that she does enjoy smiling
and laughing. Alysa: Well, I can not say anything about your
mother's other side, but I can say that mine is one that must be
witnessed before you say that you can handle her. She's managed
to scare off six different combat harden knighted soldiers that
tried courting me for marriage just by appearing. She says with
a hint of a laugh from how Donny bounced back.

Kendrix shrugs. Kendrix: I may not know what the whole royal
stuff is like, but at this point, most of the town knows Black
Sun as one of the biggest crime organizations in the city
alongside people like Black Mask, Inferno, and Nightshade. So
when the Darkfires go anywhere in this town, we're more likely
to get attacked by people who don't like us. Just having our
name is usually enough for people to either associate us with
Black Sun or with Hellsing, since my uncle Kindron and a bunch
of alternate Darkfires are working over in Hellsing.
Hei: That's not to mention the other version of me with the
Iscariot.
Donny laughs a bit. Donny: My mom in this timeline may not be as
bad as your mom, but in my timeline, my mom's hollow side almost
killed me and Kenny once by accident when she was going crazy. I
can't even imagine what she'd have done if I'd found a girl to
date in our apocalyptic future. He sighs a bit. Yeah, the
version of my mom in my timeline got really bad after Dad died
in my timeline. I don't think I ever told my mom here how bad it
was, but how we kept her from losing control and turning into a
permanent hollow is beyond me. He explains.

Kialo listens to both Kendrix and Hei carefully but still with a
thoughtful smile. He realizes that this could also be a learning
experience on top of a vacation. Kialo: Well, I may not know
what being associated with a crime organization nor this
Hellsing organization but royal life is perhaps the most boring
and socially boring life. I literally try to spend as much of my
time training, fighting beside, and hanging out with the
Imperial soldiers or playing mercenary just for some form of
normal life. He adjusts his hat a bit and pushes some of his
long hair that had fallen in face behind his ear. Kialo: Not
like my Dad doesn't do the same thing though when he can since
the soldiers are about the only ones with a normal sense of
humor. I'm also glad to hear that my world isn't the only one
dealing with alternate versions of ourselves either. That's
something that has been common since the World War in our
universe when the Draculesti family dropped massive atomic bombs
on several European countries, killing millions. Nothing like
fighting a zombie army one day, hunt and kill a roaming T-Rex
the next day, and then sort out which person is your real father
after that.
Alysa: It sounds as if by changing the timeline and creating an
alternate timeline has changed how your mother controls her
other side. Not unheard of in my universe according to temporal
specialists. We call it the "butterfly effect" where changing
one thing in history causes a ripple effect that changes many
things. I'd take it as a blessing in this situation from what I
understand and keep lessons learned from old timeline close to
heart. Alysa says rationally but with a smile. She's glad that
her Hyde side is remaining docile so far, but that side of her
does have an interesting question that Alysa is also curious
about. Alysa: Excuse me if this sounds ignorant, but what is a
hollow?
Anna takes out a joint from her case as the others speak, pulls
a lighter, and lights the joint while taking a nice hit. She
realizes that training is temporarily on hold and is enjoying
watching the interactions especially watching Donny perking up.
Shadowstalker: "I'm kinda curious about seeing what the girl's
Hyde side is like." Anna chuckles softly to herself and just
thinks to Shadowstalker about how that could be a bad idea.

Kendrix: Yeah, I couldn't handle being royalty... I'd want to
punch everyone. He says with a shrug. We actually haven't had
any weird time travel incidents yet... Which I'm surprised
about. He says, thinking. At least, not that I'm aware of. Most
of our problem has been around dimensional alternates showing up
from pretty much random parts of the multiverse. I've seen some
weird alternates, and I don't even want to think about what else
could be out there. He says to Kailo.
Donny: Well, I hate to say it, but we'll have to see if things
change. Kenny is better at the time change stuff than me. I just
understand the general concepts of it. Upon her question about
hollows, Donny tries to explain it. Oh... Hollows are basically
corrupted mortal souls that have become monsters? Imagine a
vengeful spirit that basically morphs into a giant white monster
that eats souls. He has an idea. Death wraiths who gain hollow
power usually have an alternate hollow personality. Let me show
you. He motions over to Zandrick, who was sitting not far away
watching everything, and calls him over.
Zandrick: Yeah, you don't want to see Darkcaster. That's not a
good idea. He says to Alysa and Donny.
From the shadows, Darkcaster seems to speak from inside
Zandrick's head, audible to everyone. Darkcaster: Naw, come on!
Let me out so I can say hi to them! He says jokingly.
Donny: Come on bro. You've gotten pretty good at keeping him in
line. Ma and I will step in if Darkcaster gets out of line. He
says to Zandrick.
